Today I would like to talk to you about a King— not just any King, but the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Leper King. Jesus did not have leprosy, but He was the One who reigned victorious over it as He had the power to cure it. We hope you enjoy this week's sermon.

Last week we discussed judging others, but this week we will discuss forgiving others. We are studying these two concepts “back-to-back” because they work “hand-in-hand”. According to Jesus, the two ideas are closely linked together. We hope you enjoy!

Jesus’ words in Matthew 7 are very familiar to us as students of God’s Word. It is perhaps one of the most misused and misunderstood Scriptures of the Bible. If it hasn’t happened already, I can assure you that we will encounter people in our lives that will use this verse to justify their sinful behaviors. “Judge not, that you be not judged” is a favorite verse of spiritually sick Christians and antagonistic atheists. When a sin is pointed out in their life they come to this passage and say, “Aren’t you a Christian? Jesus said not to judge! Leave me alone and your own business!” When they utter these words they feel as if they have turned the tables on us by using the “UNO-Reverse Card” so-to-speak. So what exactly does this passage mean? Is it true that Jesus forbids us from judging others? The remainder of our study will seek to answer that very question.

The Apostle Peter commands all Christians to be holy. There is a singular standard for every Christian to live up to. It does not matter whether you’re a man or a woman, father or mother, son or daughter, Elder, Deacon, or Preacher— the command is for all of us to be holy. Peter not only teaches us how to be holy, but when to be holy. Find out more in this sermon.

There is a venomous snake that is in our homes and goes largely undetected. He hides in the dark and grows bigger and bigger when he is fed. The name of this snake is Satan; his poison: sin (Revelation 12:9). Sin and Satan have ruined countless lives, marriages, families, and friendships. Oftentimes the sting of the serpent’s bite could have been avoided and overcome, if the problem had been addressed instead of being ignored. If we allow Satan to roam free in our homes, he will go on to roam free in the House of God, the Church (1 Timothy 3:15).

There is a common saying in today’s world: “Nothing in life is free”. It means that even if something is advertised or offered at no cost, there are always strings attached. Payment will eventually come in one form or another. Many people jump at the opportunity to get something for nothing, but there is usually a catch. There is a cost whether we immediately recognize it or not. The greatest thing in all of the world is indeed free, it is a gift from God-- but it comes at a cost.

Today marks the beginning of the New Year. This is a time many people choose to reflect on the past and make plans for the future. In this New Year our goal as Christians is to love more, serve more, and learn more. We have grown this past year but we can never be satisfied spiritually. We must continue to hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Today I want to talk to you about a man who was not satisfied with his spiritual life. There was a hole in his heart, so he went to the Great Physician Himself, Jesus Christ. The title for our lesson is: “The Man Jesus Couldn’t Save”.

On the Day of Pentecost, three thousand souls obeyed the Gospel having been baptized into Christ. This act of obedience placed these individuals into a new relationship that the Bible calls fellowship. In this study we will learn why we need fellowship, how it is established, and how these bonds are broken.

Would you speak about the past, the present, or the future? This week's study will reveal to us the deepest passions and concerns of the Apostle Paul, in his farewell to the Elders of Ephesus!

Many people in the religious world are familiar with the Savior sent from God, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to this world to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). But it is likely that fewer people have ever heard of the Pavior sent from God, John the Baptist. Before Jesus could ever SAVE the world, John the Baptist had to PAVE the way for Christ.
In this week's study we hope to learn more about the one that paved and prepared the way for Jesus Christ! We hope you enjoy.

In Acts 15 we are introduced a false doctrine that was circulating throughout the Churches of Christ. Many Christians had failed to recognize that the Law of Moses was no longer in effect, and no longer necessary to keep. Consequently, some Jewish-Christian converts began to teach that the Gentiles must be circumcised in order to become legitimate Christians. These men were teaching 'another' and/or 'different' Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). They changed the words of Christ in (Mark 16:16) to mean that 'he who believes, is baptized, and circumcised will be saved'.
Was this truly the case? Find out in this week's episode!

A person's attitude towards Biblical Authority affects how they view the Scriptures and apply them in their daily life. Without a proper understanding of this subject, it is impossible to please God!
