We share honestly about how our relationship began, what wasn’t working, and how we broke up.

“Can guys and girls really be just friends?”
“Can a relationship be redeemed if you’ve fallen into sexual sin?”
“How do you know if you’re ready for a relationship — or if someone is from God?”

(Watch on YOUTUBE) In this episode, I’ll be answering YOUR breakup questions from my own experience (mainly from the breakup I had with my now-husband)Some questions I’ll be answering:
“What were the red flags that caused you to break up?”
“What if they ended it because they weren’t sure you were the right one?”
“Should you seek closure if it ended well but still left questions?”
“How do you actually go no contact when they’re all you think about?”
“How did you know when it was time to come back together? How long were you broken up for”
In this episode, we talk about how to navigate uncertainty when you’re unsure of God’s plan for your life. I share how it’s okay not to have a 20-year plan and how focusing on your passions and staying faithful in the small things or what God has placed before you know, can lead to clarity.
I'm finally sharing the full story (well, as much as I can fit into an hour!) of how my fiancé and I went from breaking up in 2023 to preparing for marriage now in 2025. I’ll take you through how we met, how our relationship began—and eventually ended—and the incredible journey of how God brought us back together. I’ll share what led us to start our relationship AGAIN, the lessons I’ve learned over the past year, and how those lessons have shaped our path to marriage!
In this episode, we’re diving into what it means to experience true joy—not the kind of fleeting, picture-perfect happiness you see in holiday movies, but a joy that’s grounded in something far deeper. This is the joy of Jesus—a joy that’s available to you all year long, regardless of your circumstances.
We also talk about how desiring happiness is NOT wrong but what is wrong is the way our culture goes about pursuing it. Lastly, I’ll share how joy and sorrow can coexist, and how, no matter where you are in life, you can access this happiness that comes from the Holy Spirit
In this episode, we’ll dive into how to break free from negative thinking cycles with 5 practical steps. Building on the idea from our last episode—that changing your thoughts can transform your life—we’ll go deeper into the “how.”
Drawing insights from Dr. Caroline Leaf’s Switch on Your Brain, we’ll cover:
In this episode, we’ll dive into what it means to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2) and how both Scripture and science reveal how our thought life can influence our choices, actions, and life.
After reading the book “Switch on your brain” by Dr. Caroline Leaf I wanted to share my insights with you:
By the end of this episode, you’ll understand how renewing your mind is not only possible but essential for living in alignment with God’s design for your life!
In this episode, we’ll explore what it means to treat your body as a “temple of the Holy Spirit”—specifically, 5 key practices to prioritize for your physical health.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
In this episode, I’m diving into some of the big questions I had when I first became a Christian. To make it even more meaningful, I asked you these same questions on Instagram and will be sharing some of your responses as well!
Here’s what we’ll explore together:1. Why are we (humans) here on earth— what is our purpose, why were we created? How would you learn what your purpose is?
What happens when one becomes a Christian? (broad question but answer in as great of depth as you want). What are the next steps?
What does it mean to have a relationship with the Lord, and how do we develop it?
I have some big news that I just announced on Instagram—I’m engaged! But before I share the story, I want to discuss something we all face: change. A year ago, I was navigating heartbreak, clinging to the verse in Ecclesiastes: “There is a season for everything.”
Life is full of seasons—singleness, relationship struggles, and joyful moments—and each one has a purpose. In this episode, I talk about how I’ve learned the importance of staying present and letting God work in the here and now instead of longing for the past or rushing into the future.
Also, the book I mentioned is Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas
In this episode, I want to talk about how our past influences our present and future and why it's crucial to confront it. Sometimes, we need to go back to go forward. This leads us to explore these topics:
I also highly recommend reading the book Emotionally Healthy Sprituality by Peter Scazzero
In today’s episode, I’m diving into the concept of creating a healthy lifestyle that is truly centered on God. Many of us, including myself, have found ourselves compartmentalizing our faith—attending church on Sundays, praying in the mornings maybe, but leaving God out of the rest of our daily routines. This episode explores how this approach can lead to a shallow spirituality and disconnect from God throughout the day. We’ll discuss practical steps to integrate God into every aspect of our lives!
(WATCH ON YOUTUBE) You might have heard someone say, “God told me _____” or “I heard/felt God say ______,” but what does “hearing” from God actually mean? How do we know if it is God is speaking and what he is even speaking to us? In this episode, we explore the different ways God speaks to us—through Jesus and by scripture, circumstances, desires, prophecy/dreams/visions, and in the quiet moments of prayer. If you want to deepen your relationship with God and learn how to discern his voice, this episode will provide practical insights on how to hear and respond to His voice in your everyday life.

This podcast explores the deeper meaning of Prayer, emphasizing that it's not a passive act but an active partnership with God. We discuss how we pray as an invitation to collaborate with God's power to bring His kingdom to earth. I talk about my experience with growing daily reliance on God for provision, the transformative power of confession and forgiveness, and the aligning prayers with God's will. In any relationship, communication is key, and in our relationship with Jesus, prayer is exactly that—our lifeline to God and absolutely essential.

In this episode, we tackle a question that many new Christians, including myself at first, often wonder about: “Why pray if God is going to do what He will do anyway?” We'll explore how prayer is not just about asking for what we need but about participating in God's redemptive work on earth. Besides understanding why prayer is important, you'll also learn how to start with prayer if you're new to it or how to enhance your existing prayer life.https://www.practicingtheway.org/https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/are-there-two-wills-in-god

An episode about what we allll have dealt with at least occasionally or for some pretty much every waking moment—anxiety. I talk about my experience with this from social anxiety, phobias, intrusive thoughts and share what I have done through this. But most importantly we will talk about what God says about anxiety. Through my struggles, I've found comfort in inviting the Lord into moments and days of anxiety. I only hit the surface when it comes to mental health so stay tuned for more. But my hope in this episode is to put an emphasis on not letting anxiety become your identity. I have found in life sometimes the most amazing things are the most unexpected and surprising. We all have experienced worry at some point in our live. But excessive worry can cause mental, physical, and spiritual harm. In this episode we will be reviewing the book, “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living” by Dale Carnegie. This book has been of tremendous help in my journey so I will be highlighting a few key points that could serve in your journey as well!
When I started my fitness/health journey, it was ALL about my looks. Nothing else mattered except my appearance. But this became a problem because I neglected my spiritual, financial, social, mental, and physical (how I was feeling) health. And by focusing too much on what I looked like, I was constantly unhappy. If you want to fully optimize your health so you can live a life you love, give this episode a listen.
In our society there can be a lot of pressure to ALWAYS be achieving SOMETHING. Recently feel like I've had this pressure, and it's been taking the joy out of the journey. While having no drive or motivation for achievements isn't good, having an overwhelming amount of pressure is not either. It can lead you to get burnt out and can even lead to you resenting the goals you are trying to achieve. Because of this, it is so important to find the balance between these two spots. If you want to join in on finding this balance with me, give this episode a listen.
When we were younger it was obviously way easier to make friends... But as we get older it gets harder and its kind of like learning a new language. I used to have the hardest time making friends and for that matter, KEEPING THEM so it was hard to grow lasting friendships let alone be in a healthy relationship with a significant other. But each experience has made me stronger and taught me alot. Today I wanted to share some of the important lessons I have learned. If you want to learn how to have healthy friendships/relationships give this a listen!
Recently I have been thinking about how the beliefs you adopt about your life will determine the direction your life will go. Not facts, beliefs, meaning there is room for error which can lead to destruction in your life. In this episode, we will talk about how to shred the limiting beliefs you tell yourself. I’ll be sharing about how I was able to change the destructive story I kept telling myself and how you can too!
For a few years of my life, I was incredibly insecure. I never liked the way I looked, so I tried to change that in an unhealthy way at first. Body dysmorphia hit me hard, and because of that, I fell down a rocky path of body image struggles. I thought starting a fitness journey would make me happy with myself, but it did NOT... until I realized why. I realized where you place your identity affects how you feel about yourself. If you have been struggling to be happy with how you look, listen to this for a perspective shift on how to ACTUALLY be happy or in better words, at peace, with yourself.
We are going to face stressful situations in life, and they CAN harm us... but only if we let us. It's not the stressful situations themselves that kill, but it is how YOU respond to it. Throughout my life I have shifted my perspective on stress and have started to see stressful situations as a way to make me stronger. But I also know living in stress is not good for your health so in this episode we will be talking about what you can do to deal with stressful situations in your life so you can continue to create a life you love!
We have all been there where we have a goal we are really excited about. We stay consistent for maybe a week and then we are NOT motivated anymore. We rely on motivation to reach our goals, but because of that we never achieve them. What if I told you there is a better way? Its called your WHY. Your why is the reason WHY you keep pushing despite the obstacles. It is strong enough to get you out of bed on the days you don’t want to. And your why is something greater than yourself, its roots are so deep that no matter what comes your way you will overcome it in order to achieve your goals. In this episode we talk about how to stay “motivated” by remembering your strong “why”
Throughout my life I have noticed that the kind of person I am is the kind of person I attract. Because whatever energy you give off is who you attract. And by energy I don’t just mean the vibe you give off. I mean the way you act, the behaviors you participate in, the things you do. Because everything you do and how you behave collects together and creates the energy you send out to whoever you are around. If you want to start having better friendships and relationships on your life you need to look at yourself first which is exactly what we will talk about in this episode.
Holding expectations about events, people, or yourself leads to disappointment. Throughout my life, I kept my expectations high...of how I should look, act and be and about others as well. But these expectations kept getting let down because I could never live up to the image I had created in my mind. The unfortunate thing about expectations is that in the process of looking forward to what you want to gain or looking to the past for what you had or had not received, there is no room for the present. Thankfully after realizing this, I have figured out how to lessen these unrealistic expectations. If you want to learn how to let go of your expectations, so you can create a life you love, give this a listen.
I feel like all of us have felt jealousy at some point in our lives before. But the issue arises when it takes over our daily life and where we live in it. I’ve been there and I know how miserable it was… but I also know how to get out of it. Today we will be talking about my experience with jealousy and how you can combat these feelings as well!
The fear of missing out…What even is it. Well its having anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, often aroused by posts seen on social media. Now the last part of this sentence is so important. The social media part. Because back 30 years ago when Fomo was a feeling someone experienced I don’t think it had as much impact as in todays world. And because I think this is such a popular feeling, we are going to talk about HOW to overcome it and have these feelings less in life.
Have you ever noticed there are really 2 worlds today? One where we can feel the ground beneath our feet, feel the fresh air, hear the sounds of birds, touch trees and be in touch with our surroundings. And the second world is where we log on every few minutes to check what's new or what we missed. The one that is accessed through a little box with a screen... also known as a phone and social media. In our society today social media has become the "new reality" but it's really a fake "reality." This can become a big issue because if we are not aware we can have this fake "reality" take over our REAL LIVES. In this episode we talk, in detail, about the impact this can have and how we can overcome it so we can create a life we love!
It's common to say we want "change" in our lives. We want things to change, but sometimes WE don't want to change. In this episode, we talk about why we get stuck in complacency and how to overcome it by putting some tools in place in our lives. If you know you need to change something in your life whether it's your finances, career, relationships or your health, give this episode a listen and let's start creating change within.
Sometimes we can fall into a slump by accident but staying in a slump is a choice... YOUR CHOICE. Growth is NOT linear so we have to learn to pull ourselves up when we fall. While it can be challenging, I have learned some tools along the way to make it easier to get out of a slump. If you are in a slump right now or just want to listen ahead of time, this is the perfect episode for you. We talk about acknowledging your feelings, understanding why you are in a slump and how to take actionable steps to get out of this state so you can continue to create a life you love!
You may think it’s easier to push your emotions down rather than acknowledge them… but in the long run this never works. In this episode, I will talk about an experience with my emotions that I recently had. If you are someone who doesn’t know how to deal with your emotions… until it’s to late, give this a listen and put these tools into practice in your life.
Being present in todays world is not an easy task. But it’s essential. The ability to be present in each moment is directly correlated with our happiness. And I would say that makes it extremely important. In todays episode we will be talking about what being present really means, why it’s important and how you can do it yourself so you can create a life you love!
At the beginning of my fitness journey, I thought I had to "hate my way to my goals." I didn't believe I could be happy with what I had and still work on improving myself daily. And because of this, I found a deep hatred for my body until I finally realized that I needed to learn how to find joy in the process of achieving my goals. If this sounds anything like you, give this episode a listen because I will be talking about how to be happy with what you have while in pursuit of what you want.
For a long time I wondered how I could hear the voice of God. I started to doubt my faith because of this until I realized why I never heard from Him and how to actually hear His word. If you have felt the same as me, I highly recommend reading the bible study book "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer. This really opened my eyes to how I could understand God's voice, so in this episode I will go over a few key points that I apply in my own life after reading this book. And once I applied what I learned to my life, everything changed and I realized how to thrive in my relationship with the Lord which helped me to thrive in life!
Many of us can go through days where we don't feel so great about ourselves or our body's. And to get out of this state of mind it is important to really understand why this is happening. In this episode, I will be sharing what I do when I have a day where I don't feel so great about myself and how you can overcome these "bad body image days," too. We will be going over in detail how we can shift our focus away from our body and more towards how we feel through asking questions and journaling them out. I will be sharing some tools to overcome these feelings and how I ultimately place my faith in God because I know he is the foundation for my confidence
It's a popular thing to set our New Year's resolutions, but why should we even set goals and how should we create and achieve them? In this episode about goal setting, you will learn how to create a life you love by creating goals that excite you. Without goals we will go through life mindlessly and ultimately feel lost and confused. Thankfully I realized this sooner than later and learned how to create goals that I can achieve. In this episode we go over starting with the end in mind so you can get clear about your vision. After this you can create structured goals with steps and habits to put in place for each. We also cover keeping your "why" at the front of your brain so you will learn to enjoy the process of achieving your goals.
In this episode, we talk about motivation vs. discipline and what we should use each for. They each have their place but it is important to know how to use them so you can achieve your goals and create a life that you love!
Do you find yourself striving to fit in? Fit in with the trends, with a friend group, with the world? I used to struggle with an obsession to fit in but this led me to feel empty inside. It wasn't until I demolished the belief of wanting to fit in, that I found true joy. In this episode we talk about the dangers of trying to fit in and how we can stop the desire to fit in.
Who you surround yourself with, what you watch and what you listen to can affect what kind of person you will be and where you will go in life. If you want to create a life you love, you MUST ensure your environment supports this. In this episode, we will be talking about how you should evaluate your environment to make sure you are able to achieve your goals and reach your full potential in life
A common saying is "do what makes you happy." But should we really listen to it? Does striving for happiness in life really make us happy? In this episode we will be talking about why striving for happiness leads to unhappiness, and what the goal should be instead.
Has comparison to others taken over your life? I've been there, and I know what it's like to be stuck in this what seems like a never-ending cycle. But the good news is there is a way out of it! And in this episode, we will be talking about the tools I have used to help me overcome the constant comparison and that can help you too!
