WHAT IS A MAN TO DO? Decades of wrongful depictions, anecdotal perceptions and mischaracterizations have left men confused about their identity and purpose in society. Men are to be leaders in their community, kings of their castle and lovers of their family. Not a bumbling, wimpy, emasculated shell of a man portrayed in sitcoms and media platforms. Nor is he a predator, manipulator or a Hollywood villain. He is strong and gentle, wise and compassionate, defender and lover, servant and leader. This is a BAD ASS MAN. He answers to his God. He answers to himself. He answers to his family.
Have you ever noticed contradictions that happened in your life that are a direct assault against your purpose in life?
In todays episode I recount an event that happened to me when I was 9 years old in school that could have prevented me from doing what I do today. Enjoy!
The Kingdom of God is why Jesus was sent to earth to re-establish the Kingdom that was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
What would it feel like if you did not have a choice to become what you desired to be in life?
Your life is of great importance and my passion in life is to see you fulfill your purpose. This is why I do what I do so you can be encouraged in the difficult times, not to give up and pursue a future that has your name written all over it.
Are we serious about our purpose in life or have we ignored it because it might be difficult to figure. Today i want to talk about the hold ups about finding purpose. I also go into more detail about the Disrupters Circle Program. Enjoy.
The Disrupters Circle is a platform I have recently created to help individuals connect with their purpose in life. This has been a long process but I'm finally able to begin this new work in my life and present it to you to help you gain greater clarity and understanding about your future and how it will impact many lives.

When you have someone who believes in you more than you believe in yourself, it is something money just can't buy.
I was at a mens group this weekend and I observed something very important about self awareness.
Moving through life can be difficult, especially when you're at a point of frustration and can't put it all together to make any sense out of it. We all struggle in many different ways. Today I want to share with you a couple of transitions I went through in life and how I understand more about myself now that I went through them.
I recorded this podcast from my vehicle at 5am. I talk about how we conduct ourselves in toxic work environments.
Today I use an analogy from my previous profession to describe how and where to identify issues that are in our lives.
We all do it. Start something an lose interest or hit a road block. But the one thing that keeps us ahead and prrepared is consistency.
Our job and our work are very different. The job is an ends to a means, something your got to out of responsibility to pay the bills. The work is your purpose in life, your calling, something that brings excitement and fulfillment.
Ninety percent of the things we worry about never happen. So why do we act this way and how can we combat these intrusive thoughts?
We all have scars; our faults, failures and disappointments. Areas we're not proud of and would sooner bury them or at least hide them from human view. The Japanese have an art form that takes a broken piece of pottery, and instead of tossing it out, they rebuild it using liquid gold or silver. The end product is an artful piece of work that highlights its imperfections instead of trying to mask them or even throw it out.
Learning from individuals who are doing what you desire to do in life is one thing, but being a cookie cutter replica of them is not expressing your true authenticity. You are who you are; quirks, style and looks. BE YOUR ORIGINAL SELF.
You can have all the gifts, talents and abilities but without consistency, hard work and a specific regimen, you will not make it.
There's something powerful about dreaming. In today's podcast I talk briefly about giving yourself permission to dream again.
I talk about an event in my childhood where I encountered a very embarrassing and painful situation at school that was a direct contradiction to my assignment in life. What event has contradicted your assignment in life?
Sometimes we can find ourselves in a funk. Its ok to to feel that way for a few days but we must not stay there. You have a purpose in life and you are highly valued. Let this week be a better week for you.
Stewarding what you have will greatly impact, not just your life, but those you connect with. If we become selfish and self absorbed with what we have we miss the point of our purpose in life. We give of ourselves in service to others. Being a good steward of your gifts talents and abilities will have a greater impact to society far greater than you could ever imagine. ENJOY!
In part two I give you 5 KEYS to help you navigate through the hallway. It is important that you become aware of the changes taking place. And how through the process you will move into the next season with greater clarity and understanding. Cheers guys!
People tell us 'when one door closes another door opens'. That's all well and good but they never tell you about the Hallway in between. It can be a difficult place to be, but understanding why they are necessary will help you navigate the twists and turns as you move towards the next season and the next door. ENJOY!
Don't give up on your dream. Push through. We have an opportunity in life to make a difference that can potentially affect many people, including ourselves. There are days when we all feel like throwing in the towel, but if we are honest with ourselves, we can't afford to do that and give up. KEEP GOING ONE MORE SEASON. Your in it to WIN it.
Burdens, or as I call them negative characteristics and traits, are learned behaviors. Recognizing these negative components in our lives is one thing, but changing them takes works. If we desire to be the difference we want to be in the world then the areas that negatively impact our lives need to change. I believe it is not only possible for all of us to change but also to set a precedent for our children and the future generations.
It takes sixty-six days for you to learn, embrace and operate in a new habit. When we desire change in our lives it will always cost us something in the beginning. In this instance, re-wiring our brain requires discipline and focus. The first 22 days you are deconstructing an old habit or lifestyle by introducing something new. The next 22 days you are aware it is changing and cognizant of the routine or activity. The last 22 days begins the phase of 'automaticity'. An automatic response to the new learned behavoir.
One of the hardest things to do in life is forgive someone who has hurt you. In today's podcast I relive an event that took place when I was 8 years old. It wasn't until I was a lot older that I realized the benefit of forgiveness.
How does it make you feel when your boss, supervisor, educator, minister or any senior male figure in your life doesn't give you the acceptance you're looking for? This happened to me and I figured out why it made me feel defeated. One answer changed my life. Listen to find out what that was. ENJOY!
Breaking cycles in our lives doesn't come easy, it requires discipline and focus. One way to begin rewiring those boring routines is to Hack Your Brain into doing and thinking different.
You can not control things in life that are outside of your reach. But you can maintain control and consistency of what you say, think and do. Your three foot world is your domain and you are responsible for you.
Each day we have the opportunity to make a difference. Even the smallest of gesture can make a difference in your life but also in the lives of others you come in contact with.
Welcome 2023. There are no overnight success but season and times of preparation. This is a time for you to move into your assignment.
A dream will remain a dream unless you put legs on it. Don't die with the song still inside of you.
We all want that new FAD DIET to work for us but it won't. Shift the narrative and adopt a LIFESTYLE SHIFT, not some diet you'll quit in two weeks.
Breaking the cycle will create a reset in your mind and body. Choose to make a small change today and BREAK THE CYCLE!
Why do we all wait until December 31st at midnight to start something new and create a New Years resolution? Why not start today? Let's rewrite the script in your head and begin something different today so when New Years is here you are already ahead of the curve.
We hear so many Buzz Words in church but do we really understand what they mean or are we just being cliche? Today's podcast I will be discussing a few of them. Thanks for listening and enjoy.
Continuing on from last weeks 'Go Do Something'. Its important to take inventory of your life. Self-care is not a generic buzz word, it is necessary for you as an individual and your family.
It is important for a man to find an outlet that takes him out of the distractions and intensities in life. Go do something that is fulfilling and enjoyable. Just keep it legal, lol.
WE ALL HAVE OPINIONS, but why do we think a certain way on so many issues in life. Today I talk about the religious mindset and the kingdom mindset. Two distinct levels of thinking.
We all have a past, some of us worse than others. We must usher in the strength to go back and unearth our purpose that has been buried under mounds of lies, negativity, trauma and chaos. Your future started the second you were born and life threw its curve balls directly at you. You can do this because you have an assignment to finish. https://www.instagram.com/badass_man2man/
One of the hardest things to face in life is living in regret. Putting areas of our lives in right order and balance is key to living in fullness. Many years of my life were wrapped up inside the four walls of the church. In-turn my wife and children and my business suffered because I believed I was doing God's work. ENJOY!
Life has many disappointments, so many we've lost count. But what if those failures, negative and emotional events in your life have left you second guessing yourself? What if you're putting off doing specific things that could potentially make a difference in your life? Procrastination and fear of failure keep us buried in a self-imposed state of mind. Let's learn from the mistakes and disappointments and use them to reshape our current position in life. YOU GOT THIS!
Understanding our purpose in life helps us connect with our future assignment. Set your sights on the reason you were born and embrace your destiny.
Being involved in the church for many years was a need that came from my lack of significance and acceptance as a man. I realized after many years that I had made some grave errors in my misappropriation of time and talents. Transparency and vulnerability has helped me overcome my disappointments.
As we continue our conversation about identity I want you to imagine what it looks like to be a role model to your children. You were created to lead and influence as part of your assignment from God. This is your foundation from where all of your decisions and choices will be made. Enjoy.
The one over arching issue in life comes in the form of identity. It's important for us to begin a conversation on this topic. It is the elephant in the room. True identity is first established through our relationship with God the Father and it is from that place we take on the roles of son, husband and father. Enjoy.

This is a BAD ASS MAN. He answers to his God. He answers to himself. He maximizes his family.
