Hello everyone!
I would like to share a short clip of what occurred last weekend at the Wengman Cup 2023 that was held at Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa, Philippines. It's quite hot, and applying sunblock is a must. Several teams, from north to south, have competed and basked in the heat of the sun. It was an intense yet fun weekend to play Ultimate Frisbee and also to spend time with your friends.
Even though we did not have a podium finish, our team won the Most Spirited Award, which was given to the team with the highest score of spirit. So we are still thankful for this fun weekend.

Indie League 2023 is a local league hosted by IndieSports.ph and was held on June 10-11 in Alabang Country Club. This was a short clip from the match up between MUCC team and Mugshot team in Pool C. Mugshot (orange) capitalized the unforced error from MUCC (white), giving then a score in the end zone.

Surftown Beach Ultimate 2023 Day 2
Hello everyone! I wouldto share some short clips from Day2 of Surftown Beach Ultimate 2023. This happened in San Juan, La Union near Kabsat. The event was hosted by Wayfield Ultimate Events and this is a 2-day Beach Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
We had 3 games and managed to win our games in the quarters and semis. We lost in the finals and awarded 1st runner up in Pool D. During our games 1 and 2, the sand was still hot on that day however, we experienced the sunset of La Union while playing on finals. Overall, this is a new experience because this is my first podium finish in Surftown Beach Ultimate

Surftown Beach Ultimate 2023 Day 1
Hello everyone! I would like to share one of our games in the first day of Surftown Beach Ultimate 2023. This happened in San Juan, La Union near Kabsat. The event was hosted by Wayfield Ultimate Events and this is a 2-day Beach Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
We had 4 games today and managed to get 1 win and 3 loses. The sand was so hot that all players were wearing aqua shoes or socks. I tried running barefoot and immediately regreted my actions and wore 2 layers of socks afterwards.
Despite of the super heat that I experienced today, I still had fun. I just wish that there were more tents and ice to be provided by the organizer on their next event.

Hello everyone! I would like to share a short clip of our recent team building that happened in Forest Club Eco Resort at Barangay Puypuy, F.T. San Luis Avenue, Bay, Laguna, Philippines. There were several team building activities that were facilititated by their staff and all teams are very eager to participate. This is our first team building post pandemic and it was surely one of the anticipated activity of the year.
Forest Club Eco Resort is surrounded by nature which is very relaxing. The staff are very accomodating and the place is very peaceful. However, there are two things that I did not like about resort, first is their warm water in the pool and shower area which will not help cool off your sweaty body after those physical activities. And also, since the resort is surrounded by nature, different kinds of insects and mosquitoes will surely fly onto you in the late afternoon. So please plan accordingly.
Overall, our team building was super fun because of the several team building activities that they can offer and their super friendly staff.

Hello everyone!
I'd like to share a short video of our scrimmage yesterday with another team. We oftentimes play at Blue Pitch, Circuit Makati, Makati, Philippines. There are curreny 4 teams playing on each quadrant of the field and the scrimmage will happen on each half of the field. This is a mixed format wherein boys and girls should be mixed in to play on the same line-up.

I'd like to share a short clip of some of the match up that occurred at the Ultimate Frisbee Boracay Open 2023. This was my first time playing Ultimate Frisbee in Boracay. This occurred on April 1 and 2 in Long Beach Boracay, Philippines, and teams from all over the world gathered to compete. There were many actions that occurred, but I only captured a few of them.
For the time being, this is just a short clip, but I intend to upload more videos regarding local leagues and scrimmages.

Introduction Hello Brawlers! Lester here! Let me share to you guys my recent brawl battles using Quora Towershead. Quora Towershead is an Earth Element from Gladius, which can only be obtained via Gladius Case from Guild Store. And each Gladius Case costs 2,000 Merits, which can only be obtained from Guild Brawls. I am not yet very well versed in using Gladius Cards but I think these battles are pretty good. Also, you cannot directly buy Gladius Cards which I think I am lucky enough to get a Gold Foil Quora Towershead.

I selected Obsidian as my Summoner to buff the Magic Attack of Quora Towershead. With 32 mana cap, I added other Magic Attack monsters in this line up. I also added Fungus Fiend at the back of line up for added protection against Sneak attack. I also have Spirit Hoarder to heal back line monsters in case enemy has Snipe ability and targeted my support monsters. Queen Mycelia's +2 Armor also helped protect Quora Towershead from receiving direct physical damage. The key players here are Quora Towershead and Goblin Psychic. With the double heal ability, Quora Towershead was able to withstand the front line and helped this line up win the battle.

The mana cap is only 14 and the rulesets are Up Close and Personal wherein only monsters with Melee Attack maybe used and Noxious Fumes wherein all monsters start the battle poisoned. Quora Towershead has the advantage in this battle. With Melee attack, it also has Magic attack which was buffed by Obsidian. It also has Heal ability which played an important role in Healing the damage from poison.

The ruleset here is Target Practice wherein all range and magic attack monsters have the snipe ability. Considering the ruleset, me and my opponent thought of the same summoner, Obsidian. I used the same line up in the first battle minus Spirit Hoarder because of the mana cap. The opponent also has Quora Towershead but mine is 1 level higher. The only difference between level 1 and 2 Quora Towershead is the HP. However, Quora Towershead has the Heal ability, so each increase in HP is a big factor.The opponent also has Goblin Psychic which will Heal Quora Towershead. However, I have Queen Mycelia's +2 armor which slows down the damage from Quora Towershead's Melee Attack. With the difference in line up, I won this battle.
Conclusion Quora Towershead is a pretty nice card in Guild Brawls. If you can buff either its Magic or Melee Attack, that is a huge advantage. And with its Bloodlust ability, this card can be a beast which I think is more powerful than other Legendary Gladius Card. With the help of Quora Towershead, I was able to get 7 wins in this Brawl Battle.

Hello Splinterfolks! It's time again for #Splinterlands Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge! How's your recent battles? Good? Bad? Meh? I am currently battling out in Bronze League hoping to nab a slot in the Leaderboard before the End of Season. The heat is on from the battles of previous Leaderboard contenders and I don't know yet if I will make it to the top 20. Spineback Turtle is a Water element monster that I often use when using a Water Splinter. This is a good mini tank in Bronze league, especially when the ruleset is Little League. And what I really love about this card is that its Thorn ability can be used in Silver league already. It also has an Alpha edition that contributes to DEC reward bonuses if you win.
Let's take a run down of this card's stats and I will also discuss one of my battles using this card.
Spineback Turtle
Edition: ALPHA/BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Thorns at level 4.
Spineback Turtle played a great role here as a tank with sufficient HP and armor in order to stay alive while its Thorn is doing extra damage to enemy melee attackers. Overall my strategy worked out perfectly even though the match ended as DRAW just because Spineback Turtle's attack missed! Another option that I considered in this battle is to put Spineback Turtle to Pos 6. In this manner, it will tank the damage from enemy melee's back line attacker while they suffer from Thorn ability.
Even though there are lots of cards now from Chaos Legion Water element that can serve as tank, I will still use Spineback Turtle in Silver league as mini tank mainly because of its Thorn ability. This card is very useful for Rulesets Up Close and Personal, Equal Opportunity, Melee Mayhem and ofcourse Little League.
It was nice using this card again and again and it really does have a nice stats for a low cost tank.
