In today's episode we dive deeper into the realms of Compassion. Just like with any concept, idea, or way of thinking and identifying, there is a need to define it in a way that resonates within. In this episode, we surface the feeling of Compassion to unEarth a necessary inner-understanding, and then play around with it as a container that holds other energies, ideas, and definitions that can help us sharply recognize our own individual stance within it all.
By seeing, feeling, and understanding what Compassion naturally facilitates, we can surface it within, while simultaneously allowing it in our lives to grow, build, and sow necessary seeds for inner-alignments and ascensions.
Enjoy, and as always, happy healing!

In the last episode of this series of getting into the nitty gritty of Self Respect, we talked about how the 'stronger' energies were there to help the body - in it's system of checks and balances - usher in and be able to have the softer, more vulnerable energies. In this episode, we're coming to see how it's clearly flipped.
These softer energies, compassion, vulnerability, humility, and grace (etc.) are actually here to bring in the stronger energies, well, because they garner their own strength. They provide the necessary balance needed in order smoothly coast in the stronger energies we need in order to be Self, like Self Respect.
In this episode, NicoleHeals talks about inner power, and the real, actual, and factual reasons as to why we may stray away from it, as it pertains to a disempowering past. By using compassion and remembering to give all of the selves that reside within copious amounts of grace, understanding and love, we can learn how to integrate our inner power and the energy of Self Respect, in a way that speaks individually to who we are.
Enjoy, and as always, happy healing!

So, we're gonna start talking more about energy and tuning into it intentionally in upcoming pod episodes, but I wanted to bring it up here, in terms of intuitive activism.
We see what's going on in the world right now with Palestine and Gaza and some of us may just feel kind of stuck. Stuck in overwhelm, stuck in shock, stuck in "I have my own problems and I'm truly not sure what to do, or what I can do" "How can I possibly help with a shotty nervous system?" "How can I possibly contribute when I'm burntout?"
Main point: everyone has their function within systems of change, and its important to recognize that rather than putting oneself in harms way for the sake of showing off for others.
If you're especially sensitive to energy, like me, you may naturally tune out of social media, and the rest of the world, and go inward to make sure the homefront that is you, stays safe and grounded whenever the collective energy goes a bit haywire, as it does whenever disaster happens.
And what if that is for very good reason? What if that is actually intentional? In this bonus episode I speak about the function of intuitive activism in terms of staying within reality as a sensitive person.
Being in reality about who you are, and intuitively checking in to really know what you have to offer in this real, present time, while staying in reality of what is going on in the world is the perfect way to "do" something.
Some of us may have gotten the intuitive guidance to stay off social media, while going within and really devoting to our spiritual practice in a new, intentional way. Some of us are meditating more, grounded better, healing old wounds with new experiences, and clearing out old spaces that held negative energy in order to cultivate new. Know that this is not coincidence and all for good reason, because whatever you have been healing and cultivating in your own life creates ripples for greater change.
Thank you for doing the work, don't be afraid to check in and act in your own medicine.
Compassion products coming soon, I got something for all you rose water lovers so stay tuned!

If we look at the body as a system of checks and balances, where one muscle needs the support of another, or a nerve, or even a bone to properly function, we can start to see the authentic mechanics of the body, where it organically has its own physical blueprint to function in harmony.
Using this type of template, we can go deeper with it and see the energetic system of checks and balances that the body has to offer, and how one energy can mix with another and create a certain reaction that manifests within the body. This is exactly what NicoleHeals talks about today in this episode.
Moving on from the last episode with our joy, NicoleHeals speaks about the theme of Self Respect, and how, within this system of checks and balances, this energy is there to both support joy coursing through the body freely, but also to protect it so that it stays ours and is not easily taken by someone else - like many of us have experienced in our past.
As a fun, special treat there is a meditation at the beginning that will help all listeners tap into their inner supports in order to receive the medicine of the episode at levels that are healthy for the individual. So grab ya water, ya wine, tea and other emotional support drinks, and enjoy!

Activations, upgrades, insight and much more!
If you know anything about Lion's Gate, you know what it entails, gifts, gifts, gifts. Many of us receive powerful dreams, cognitions, and visions during this time that provides powerful movement on our paths. This collective message is here to provide possible insight to what may be going on underneath the surface, and guidance on how to handle these activations and move forward.
Everyone get's their gifts at the exact right time, because there is no competition. As individuals, it's time to drop the shameful narrative that comes in when we see others thriving, and simply take that as awareness that magic is in the air, and its coming for us, too, in our own way.
Enjoy, and as always, happy healing <3

This collective message comes to you through great courage, sacrifice, transformation, and rebirth. Shame has always been such a big theme in my life. Its been that helping hand, always there for me, to wipe my tears while ironically creating more. It has been the source of my self esteem, self-doing and undoing, and it has left me undoubtedly tired.
When I decided I was fed up, God led me to a threshold and told me shame could not enter. I had to pick, me, or the shame, and I courageously chose me. In the very face of immense, and intense fear that created this deep wound in the first place. I was brave, and I want you to know you can be, too. I hope this message finds you well, and penetrates through the deep layers of you to get you on the other side of shame. I hope it brings you to joy! Enjoy 💖

In this episode NicoleHeals expands on the idea of individuality and space, and uncovers additional layers to family enmeshment, including an interesting historical lens. Many families rely on enmeshment for emotional safety, which help to contribute to the formation of family roles. These roles do their job of keeping everyone in line, and both mentally and emotionally allows children to stay aligned with their parents. Yet in exploring the true functioning of family roles, NicoleHeals uncovers the adverse affects to an individuals sense of identity, as well as the deeper underbelly behind their enforcement.
Additionally, NicoleHeals uses a historical lens to further explain the function of enmeshment and family roles for people of color, using Black American history as an example, to show how communities of color have utilized enmeshment for physical safety and genuine survival while being displaced, as well as undergoing and fleeing genocide.
In this understanding, it is felt that we can all gain perspective to our individual and collective family struggles, while also understanding the options we have to today, and removing the guilt in utilizing them. Enjoy, and as always, happy healing!

In this episode NicoleHeals explores and expands on individual space, and the true weight of the subconscious and how it correlates with our belief of how much space we have, vs. how much space is actually there. These beliefs come from somewhere, and while we are not the people that initially hurt us, it is our responsibility to heal, and we do that by exploring these beliefs and their true origin.
In the last episode it was said, “The space we were born with was vast. It was vast”, and it could not be any more true. We were born with such vast and open space to be ourselves, to have ourselves and to simply be. To get our needs met and have room for preferences! As we grow, that room becomes more and more narrow, to the point of lack. While that believed lack of space shows up in the home, it is also perpetuated by society, and so, this episode explores the age old question, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

As I prepare for the next episode in this series on the topic of space - to be our individual, authentic selves - I felt called to share my new developments in my own healing journey, and that is the dissecting of accountability. If you're like me, you have a certain view of accountability and what it looks and feels like. A shame-based accountability that requires you to always fall on your sword, be sad, remorseful, and incredibly genuine in your distaste for your own behavior for the performance for other people, mainly our parents. Many of us were forced into a prison of shame that demonized one-time mistakes, and instead of getting help, we just got more punishment.
In this episode we talk about what this looks like in present time, and how celebrating oneself for all of our "small" wins, can help us break the accountability prison pattern mindset. Enjoy, and as always, happy healing! 💕

In this episode NicoleHeals gets real about the true cost of space, and how the relief of letting go is often paired with the fear of what has been hiding underneath. There are many highs and lows of the healing journey, and the act of realizing you have space to be your individual self is no exception. NicoleHeals is here to reassure you and your inner child that, just because there's a period of feeling low, of negative, protective thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of the past surfacing after this high, confident realization, does not mean you've done anything wrong. When we adopt new beliefs that clash with who we had to be, our Selves way of solving that dissonance is by making present, conscious you aware of what is underneath, in order for you to make the necessary decisions to create balance and equilibrium.
So, don't worry, you're not doing anything wrong, this is the Self's way of achieving balance, and you are just along for the ride.

In this episode NicoleHeals talks about the significance of SPACE in all parts of the healing journey, especially when moving out of survival mode. When we are in survival our identity shifts to an external source that we rigidly follow to keep us in love, acceptance, and connection with our parents, family, friends, peers, and the world. We cling to this survival identity as a way to stay safe, not noticing that we are abandoning our true selves at the same time. Over the years, the weight of being two people exhausts us and we break, then spend time trying to piece ourselves, our real selves, back together which begins about our healing journey.
The concept of space, of allowing ourselves the time and expansive area to turn into whoever we do, helps us to go within and use ourselves as a natural source to gain back who we actually are, however we do, however it happens. This space that we provide for us to cry over spilled milk, laugh at the silliest things, burp our loudest, and sing-scream out our rage allows us to return to the full range of what it means to be human, and come to an unconditional acceptance and love of the individual human that we naturally are. In this episode, NicoleHeals talks about the value of space and time within the process of any transformation, especially the journey of transformation into a deeper sense of sense, or identity crisis. In giving ourselves the space to change, not into a "safe" version we have concocted in our heads that aligns with our comfort zone, but truly change into who ever and whatever we are meant to be, we allow our current selves a chance to evolve and expand within their own right and timing, however it happens. We give ourselves the proper time to change, process what is happening, and be ourselves, without someone else holding the clock, and in honoring our own needs in this way, we accommodate for the person we are today, right now, in this moment. We appreciate this person and slow down from the striving, the racing to a non-existent finish line, and the subconscious urge to prove people wrong, and not only let ourselves be, but let ourselves heal. At some point in our early lives we lose ownership of our shine ✨. It is not only taken away from us, but we feel that it is our duty and responsibility to give it up in exchange for connection, for approval, for friendship, and for survival. There is a point in childhood where we are made to choose between our shine and surviving, and in choosing the latter we exchange our shine for the responsibility of other people's feelings and emotions, thoughts, opinions, and overall life experience.
We feel that our behavior, our being, and the way we identify has a direct connection to other individuals, but also the collective as a whole, and in this episode NicoleHeals is here to tell you alllll of the ways that is just not true. Tune in to find out how the only experience we have a responsibility to is our own, and how, in knowing this, we can open up the path and start along the journey back to our shine! ✨☀️🌟

Healing is one of those things that we greatly crave, heavily thirst for, and plunge into even when we don't necessarily know ALLL that inhabits this space. All we know is that things need to change, or else, and we step into new territory with that focus and intention. It is within the space of this specific focus that identity crises come in. Though we know in our heart of hearts that things need to change, we don't know exactly what that change entails and truly how deep this need goes, and so we will heal, like we intended, but also in ways we didn't really intend. We will have to let go of and give away parts of ourselves that we have thought were vital parts of our personalities, things that we have held dear for so long out of necessity and survival, an emotional and energetic state that we have operated out of for most of our lives. These deep aspects of our pain have convinced us of being part of our nature than the reality that it is just part of our trauma. This is why it is a crisis, because this is change that shows us the reality of ourselves and the true story our lives that we haven't been able to read with the faulty glasses we've been given. This episode is an even further explanation as to why we heal and why identity crises exist and are a vital part of our healing. This episode marks the end of an era, well, more like a season. In this episode, NicoleHeals speaks about coming to a point in your healing journey (multiple times) when you are able to see past your own pain and advance into a next step, a next cycle, and next phase in life to move forward. In shedding light on this turning point within our journeys, she announces that she will be taking a break from podcasting for a few months as this 23rd episode wraps up season one of The Healing Corner With NicoleHeals podcast! Further into the episode, NicoleHeals encourages listeners that there is life, fulfillment, peace, and more importantly, our truest selves on the other side of the pain we have held so dearly for most of our lives. We tend to hold pain to our chests, our backsides, and above our own heads as a way of safety, support, and protection, and because of this, pain occupies space where healthy love, perspective, and Self should be. For this reason we feel deeply connected to our pain and attempt to grow around it, which is why healing can not happen in one fell swoop like we want it to. In order to gain the wisdom, lessons, and parts of ourselves we get back from taking our time to learn within our journey, healing HAS to happen over time. Energy is like air, it is actively happening all around us, and because many of us are not trained to see, hear, and perceive it, this leaves us susceptible to the energies we constantly come into contact with. Yet, unlike air, we can control energy, both our own and how energy happens around us, giving it permission to stay or setting boundaries that demand it to leave. This is the phenomenon of establishing energetic hygiene, a routine in which you become conscious of the energy of others and how they interact with the energy within, and if you think about it, our own physical hygiene routines symbolize its importance. We "wash off the day" when coming from outside in order to clean off all the stenches and other little molecules that attach to us and follow us around, and eventually home. Energetically this happens as well, and because we are not familiar with this side of life, we may continue to keep walking around with the energies of other people, causing us to feel "off", tired, fatigued, and at times, just not ourselves. In this episode we explore the phenomenon of energy and get into techniques to incorporate into your daily lives to practice energetic hygiene by both clearing and grounding your energy, thus keeping yourself safe and protected on the daily. Enjoy, & happy grounding! 💖

Energy will put you up on game, as was shown in part one of this topic. In part two we get even deeper into this phenomenon of inheriting family baggage, and uncover all of the little miniscule ways in which our families may insist that these heavy bags are handed down and internalized by us, as well as identifying small, subtle ways in which we have perceived this energy as children, yet without a way to really put a finger on it to give it a name. Allow this episode further be a cathartic experience for both you and your inner child to profoundly reassure you that you not buggin, you actually never were, and in reality you have been a spiritual being with the powers and ability to perceive energy this whole time. This episode conjures up the power of its listeners and allows them to remember their magic, and grasp a whole fistful of it and bring it to the light. Enjoy your magic as well as this episode, happy healing! 💖

Energy is very subtle and VERY intricate and the more you learn to perceive it, the more you will notice just how much it is projected from one being to another, especially amongst families. In many families, there is this phenomenon of children inheriting their parents emotional baggage, and it is seen as like a right of passage and a strengthener for the relationship between the two. In a lot of ways it is, and in both ways it helps to indoctrinate the child into the parents energetic structure, which sets the overall energy of the family unit. Energetic dynamics of submission and authority strengthen, building the foundation of this structure, and before you know it, you have become responsible for upholding the energetic structure with the role you are made to fulfill within the family.
In this episode we get into one of the main reasons as to why healing and being able to perceive energy is important for our autonomy, as well as the fact that we are not far from being energy readers as humans naturally perceive energy, just without a name to place on it. I put so much energy wink into this episode and I really hope that it teaches you a lil sum sum ;) Enjoy! 💖

I have officially declared 2022 my villain era. It's time! It's actually been a long time coming and I'm so glad to be stepping into this space that I've been avoiding for so long. Often time we are scared of ruffling feathers, of falling out of social grace, of being the villain or doing 'villainous' acts because we do not want to run the risk of being un-accepted, disconnected from, and socially outcasted. We have faced social rejection before and it hurt our younger selves, and so now we may do all that we can in order to stay in others' good graces in order to feel good about ourselves. The thing is, I have learned there is genuinely nothing I can do that will not make me the villain, and over the years i have continued to question, what exactly even makes a villain? For a lot of us growing up, those villainous acts that got people outcasted, we grow up and realize that they were just boundaries. They were just tactics someone used in order to flex their emotional maturity and autonomy, and the people who made us believe they were in the right for outcasting the individual, were actually in the absolute wrong. This is what this episode is about. In 2022, we are adopting our own villainous acts to assert our boundaries and allow ourselves to gain more and more emotional autonomy each and every day. Do you have control issues? Let's be real, we all do to some capacity. But have you considered the origin, the true start of your control issues? Have you considered that it may also be where your anxiety was born out of?
That being wrong, making mistakes, and ultimately not knowing the next step on the path, the next answer, what it was and where it was going to come from, has everything to do with these control issues? Well, in this episode, its all broken down for you, how our need to know may have been based out of a disempowered childhood, which bred our anxiety and fear of not knowing and being wrong without any guidance on how to be 'right'.
Ultimately, it's time to disconnect and disengage from this horrid party, create and follow our own path, while embracing being wrong, making mistakes, and ultimately not knowing what's coming next. It's time to surrender, trust, and live! Enjoy 💖

We go our whole lives dissecting the person that we are, trying to fit ourselves into a little box enforced with standards that other people put onto us, and standards that we've learned to go out and look for others to give us. From a childhood where we are always corrected, never respected, emotionally neglected, with the Self gone unprotected, we are taught that liking who you naturally are, past other people's opinions of us and how we choose to display and behave, is not only dangerous, but a very undesirable trait, and so we keep ourselves boxed in out of fear. Well, babe, it's time to break out. It's time to not care and just set the intention to be yourself AND find out who that person is. Find out what they like, find out their wants and needs so that you can set boundaries around them and enforce your authenticity even that much further. Because, it's 2022, and you deserve to actually like yourself. Enjoy 💖

Healing in itself is A LOT, lets be real, but healing while having someone depend on you for their SURVIVAL? Let's be real, that's a full, possibly overflowing load. In this episode, NicoleHeals shows some love to parents out there trying to heal, and reminds them that healing for the sake of their child is admirable, but healing for the sake of their own child inside may be where the real work begins. If you're a parent trying to heal, you are a rockstar, and I commend you for taking back control of your life, while having a little one, or a few, to tend to.
As promised here are two great tiktokkers that practice gentle parenting: @lauralove5514 @mossmomma_

Often time it can feel like everyone else has their shit together, and we're just the odd ones out with no idea what we're doing, where we're going, and what our purpose is. No matter how hard we try, how hard we work, and how many things we succeed at it just never feels enough, compared to others. For a lot of us, shame was our guiding light, and we ended up following it through the years, allowing it to teach us how to be, yet never fully feeling able to figure it out, leaving us to feel abnormal and less than human. This feeling is completely normal, and in this episode, NicoleHeals uncovers the shame wound underneath this infamous cluster of emotions, along with presenting the fact that dehumanization can look and feel differently than we've previously been taught. Happy Healing 💖

In this episode NicoleHeals lists healthy, creative ways to connect with one's emotions, prioritizing anger, starting out by urging listeners to forget what they "know" about emotions. Shedding light on the effects of being socialized into a society that is so uncomfortable with emotions, she explores this influence in how we interact with ourselves when it's feeling time. Though the focus in this episode is on anger, listeners can apply it to any emotion and use these techniques to allow their energy to surface and be acknowledged, felt, processed, and transmuted. Enjoy!

"As fawns, we need to know that our anger is Divine" -a message NicoleHeals extends in this week's episode.
Tune in for part one as NicoleHeals explains how our anger is our power, our protection, and an extremely vital part of our personality. When we take our anger back we gain boundaries, power, and control over our lives to be able to make decisions on our own behalf, and not just wait on others to do so for us. Enjoy, & happy healing! 💖.

Not many of us know about the Fawn response and how it exists alongside our other, more well-known responses to trauma, Fight & Flight. In this episode NicoleHeals breaks down the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" response that is fawning, how it comes about in our past (cough cough childhood), and how it may impact us in our present day lives.
While also breaking down how responses to trauma are not so consistent and simple, NicoleHeals opens up about her own experience with fawning as her own 'default setting', while providing encouragement for her fellow fawners in response to inner judgement, helplessness and shame. Enjoy the episode, and as always, happy healing 💖.

Often time life tells us a lot of "can'ts". What we can't do, what we can't have, what we can't say, and as a result this translates to us that we don't deserve much. When this feeling lies underneath the surface within our bodies, we opt out of asking for "much", asking for what we want, and most importantly, asking and demanding for what we need.
For many of us, this starts in childhood with the people in our lives constantly controlling and shaping our world view and perception, especially surrounding our inner needs. In the end, those same needs are shrouded in our fear and the feelings, thoughts, and opinions of people who genuinely feel we do not and should not have a choice on the trajectory of our lives. Without that choice, along with the risk of not getting our needs met, we unconsciously adapt to a survivalist way of living that tells us we are not deserving of accommodations, and shouldn't need them anyway.
In this episode, NicoleHeals breaks down why we do need accommodations in life, why we should be happy and proud to have them, and the ways that many of us already hold accommodations for ourselves in our lives(psst! even the ones who say accommodations are for the weak ;).

In this episode NicoleHeals gets into the dissatisfaction, disappointment, and depression we are prone to feeling as children, from having our world and, well, reality, flipped-turned upside down by the influence of the outer world. These feelings may translate into adulthood and we may feel like we are letting our current and past selves down by not being an ultra-idealized version of ourselves, causing us to feel like we are, in fact, not our inner child's wildest dreams, or anything close to it. So, sit down, put on your pj's, pop a squat and lets get to healing this false narrative.

In this episode NicoleHeals gets into the scrumptious topic of what exactly is an inner child, in a theoretical sense. By understanding the role of the inner child and its functions, we can consciously pinpoint the exact type of person that we are, so that we can then pinpoint the exact type of healing that we need. Happy healing, enjoy!

What's Healing Got To Do With It?! I'll tell you, E V E R Y T H I N G! For right now though, we'll start with the basics, YOU. Healing matters because you matter and in this episode NicoleHeals breaks down many ways in which our upbringing contributes to the opposing side through the ways we absorb the energy of other individuals and learn to put others needs first over our own. Grab your whites and tea, and chile maybe even some wine, this is gonna be a bumpy ride, but in the best possible way 💋
