We are a group of parents and siblings who recently became part of a BIGGER group than we ever knew and that we NEVER thought we ever had to join! This is where "us" that are left behind can find a common ground where we can continue to share the lives of our beloved children without those in our circles who feel that we should move on, let it go etc... Because for all of "us" that just is impossible! We have opened this group to those who have lost a spouse, a parent and friend. Seeing my friends who are family deal with the same emotions, feelings and not being able to express how they feel prompted me to allow them to join!We all agree that we can’t just NEVER let our children and loved ones go.. and for that without the stigma, drama of those here we have a solemn place that we can all relate to and hate to... Here we can laugh, cry, vent, and honor our children/loved ones~ safely...We can share their milestones and the feelings that "us" that are left behind have- Grief is different for everyone here, there is NO time limit or set of directions on the how's, the why's etc...Hopefully, we that live close can have meet ups or facebook lives! Whatever works! We will share the highs and lows , traditions and celebrations of our children in a positive way and in a way that they want "us" to share! So SHARE AWAY!Blessings to each of you , hugs and lots of love!

Many stigmas surround things in our lives and society, so many are quick to pass judgement until we ourselves are hit with the things such as loss, - we probably were never messy people or even had piles of stuff (clutter) until we were hit with something so tragic , something so devastating as a loss of a spouse, a parent , a sibling or a child.
Then we understand how something so little as clutter can be so important, so big in our lives because "their things" of our loved ones, who loved maybe collecting baseball cards, legos, t-shirts etc, while they were physically here.
Here, Monica Forte founder of "The Dash" ,CEO of Making Magical Vacations Travel , wife of 25yrs and mom 5 boys (3 in heaven and 2 here) shares why grief can make clearing clutter an act of bravery and why its okay not to quickly go through things as she reads an article what the true meaning behind the clutter means and how slowly you can overcome the hurt , the pain and the thoughts of what it means to go through it, how to go through it and not to have family or friends tell you with stigmas why it may not be good to hold onto things and have the clutter.
Only you will know when the time is right, no one should tell you when it is!
We here at The Dash are here for you ALWAYS!
Take Care , Tight Hugs and Blessings to you and your family!

Do you feel that you’ve been growing through grief?
If so please share what have you’ve been doing to allow you and your family to grow through grief.
Take care, stay safe and GOD bless you all!
(Please note after doing some research- their was a Dummy book published for Grieving titled "Grieving for Dummies" back in 2007. Out of curiosity Just purchased it and will share with the group if its beneficial!)
Monica gives a very candid and in depth glimpse into her grief journey as she covers a topic that for some isn't a popular topic amongst Disney Podcasters and one that gets overlooked "How to Honor Your Loved Ones at Disney or any place?”
For some families who have lost a loved one and that family member LOVED Disney , going back to Walt Disney World, Disneyland or sailing on the Disney Cruise can be very painful, and very emotional. Some families refuse to head back to the place of MAGIC because the memories are just too intense.
Monica truly understands this block and shares her families memories and discusses how she slowly introduced revisiting the parks back into her life while honoring her youngest son Tony. Never expecting out of both her and her family's grief, Monica discusses how she started another Podcast and FB Group titled the "The Dash!" for parents/siblings and others who are experiencing the pain of losing a child that has grown to encompassing members who have lost a spouse or a friend.
In this episode Monica shares how the story of "Pinocchio" was changed in a revelation from her late son Tony when he was 3 and why that character holds a special place in her and her family's heart and why the number "23" is SO significant.
If you or someone you know has been debating this challenge of revisiting Disney and how to honor your /their loved one or know someone who is struggling. PLEASE reach out to Monica at
