ASUW Senators and Executives sat down at a roundtable with U.S. Representative from Wyoming Liz Cheney. Put together by the ASUW Director of Governmental and Community Affairs, the event was put together in a matter of two days. Discussion with Rep. Cheney included topics about tourism in Wyoming, the fossil fuel industry, the cost of college and food insecurity for students. While the roundtable was behind closed doors, Rep. Cheney sat down with us following the roundtable for an interview where we got to speak a little more in-depth about some of the topics, particularly one relevant to students at the University of Wyoming.

This episode is about February being Love Month! While much of February has come and gone for 2022, the theory of Love Month is still vital and persists! Love Month is about all things love-related. This episode looks into the changes being made to ASUW through its Ad Hoc Committee. Visiting with us in this episode is the Chief of Legislative Affairs and Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee, Kathryne Carrier. The changes being looked at and legislated are major changes to the Legislative branch including the number of Senators, a College Council, paying Senators, and a slight change to two standing committees. These changes won't take effect until the next administration and in the Fall 2022 semester.

This episode takes a look at the restructuring of the University of Wyoming and the proposed plan for the School of Computing. We were joined by ASUW President, Hunter Swilling, to discuss the budget cuts at UW and that leading to the restructuring. Additionally, we are joined by President Ed Seidel as well to discuss the proposed plan of the School of Computing. 

In this episode, there will be a look into the future plans of the University of Wyoming. There will also be a major focus on the impact that these changes will have on students and the campus!

This episode is a bit more of a serious episode with the topic of mental health. Taking care of yourself is extremely important and should be taken seriously. This episode features special guest ASUW Director of Wellness and Sustainability, Rhiannon McLean, to speak about the importance of taking mental health seriously, most, if not everyone, experiencing some issues, and resources available to all students. 

Director Clark and McLean take a bit of a non-traditional style to this podcast episode, having a conversation about mental health and even sharing a little bit about their experiences and mental health-related issues.
