It's becoming a necessity to change our OS to Linux from Windows or MacOS. Otherwise we will succumb to the use of AI Client Side Scanning which breaks things like End-to-End Encryption as...
The threats have changed and we have to change as well. Now the privacy risk is from AI enabled device scanning (Client Side Scanning). We know today that using Linux and Open Sourced Operating systems like De-Googled OS's will protect us from this. However, we cannot transition immediately. While there's time, we can migrate to the correct and safe platforms. In the meantime we need to prepare for this transition by being able to shift away from Windows, and MacOS.
The solution is Dual Boot. And wean our private activities away from Windows keylogging and screenshots and such madness.
On MacOS/Apple Silicon, you can dual boot with Asahi Linux.
EXTRA TIPS ON LINUX:
- The best way to handle NTFS in dual boot is to mount the NTFS drive to your Documents folder. This way it is easily accessible. For example, make Windows folder in it. Then...
- Auto mount the NTFS by making an entry in /etc/fstab as shown in this example below
UUID="partitionid" /home/"user"/Documents/Windows ntfs
rw,auto,user,exec,nls=utf8,uid=1000,gid=1000,dmask=0077,fmask=0177 0 0
- Disable "Fast Startup" in Windows or the NTFS drive may be mounted as read only.

How does an LLM AI actually work? If you understand the underpinnings of an AI, you will actually be able bring out the extra capabilities of your local AI. You can make it smarter, have long term conversations, overcome censorship and really give you more accurate solutions. But you need to understand its construction and its limits first before you can accomplish that.
I have watched people use AI and because they don't know what is actually happening, they waste time, and lose the actual value possible with this new technology. Some people say that local models cannot compete with the huge paid cloud models and you will find that this is not actually true.
In this video, we assume that the AI is locally based using Ollama and so much of the privacy and security issues have already been alleviated.

Using End-to-End encryption will no longer be a guaranteed safe method of communication. A new method will have to be invented as approaches using apps from Signal, Whatsapp, Telegram and others will no longer provide this safety.
