We are 2 black women entrepreneurs and friends who will reflect on opportunities of growth in all areas of our lives: business, personal habits, and otherwise, with the intention of letting you know our mistakes, our plans, challenges and how we rise up, to kick booty (ass).

Seasons: When Summer doesn't arrive on time speaks on shifts that happen in life and that very thing you are hoping will come to pass doesn’t come to pass. Biblically, it can be called the season of wilderness. When you hope and pray that it comes to pass and God says Not yet. What do you do then?

Hello? A late check in, but we as Bold, Black and Becoming we thought it was key to check in and say here is a reflection on how the past three months was. How was your three months?

Missing in action: The entreprenuer in the family aka the black sheep! Honestly isn’t that what entrepreneurship is about. Always missing in action. Not that it is something prideful to hold onto but truth needs to be acknowledged. Being an entrepreneur sometimes means always missing the birthday celebrations, the weddings, the glorious moments - we are here to say: don’t feel bad about it.

There are couple of truths that require you to leave your old cloak and grab the new cloak! And the one cloak is believing that The Identity that God has given you is Yours. And the Dream God has given you is Yours. We have a habit of asking for opinions-not that it’s wrong. It isn’t- as a matter of fact ask. But what is also a fact - is watching who speaks of it and believing your fairy tale. Believe your fairy tale.
If you have not heard well here it is : the great businesses have its people at her heart. It has its solutions built around a human-centric approach. We can spend all our time and cents building the great strategy or even mission statements but less we have the people’s interests at the heart we are singing a song!
