Sherlock Holmes, airing from 1930 to 1956 on NBC and Mutual, was a detective series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous novel and character of the same name. The show starred Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson.
