The coming of Jesus Christ, Gods promised Messiah, has been the most anticipated arrival in all of human history. Jesus’ birth impacted humanity in ways that no other living person in times past, present or future ever will. The awesome thing is we can still anticipate and expect the Spirit of Christ to come in our lives, today, and every day, and especially during the Advent/Christmas season.
Thanksgiving is more than a day on the calendar, but it’s a position of the heart that we are supposed to have in every session of our lives. The Bible encourages us to show gratitude to the Lord in both good and bad times because all things work together in our favor. In every season and in every circumstance let Thanksgiving lead you as you live.
The Word of The Lord, is the light that brightens your lamp. This light is not just for you, but for those who are in darkness around you. Christ wants to make you savory and use your life as an roadmap out of darkness, for those who who can’t not see.
Jesus is no doubt, The Light of the World, and as we have been engrafted into the family of God through his sacrifice, we are to called to become Children of Light. The great blessing is that as Children of Light, we will never be overcome darkness, but rather we are called to overcome it! Walk as Children of Light.
Often times, we take light for granted. We don’t realize how much we depend on radiant illumination to help us live our daily lives; Imagine a world lived in utter complete darkness. Although God has blessed us with natural light, there are many that live in spiritual darkness. It is our call as believers in Christ to be the light, as we bring the light of Christ to the world.
People in the earth are born with a purpose,and this purpose is given directly from God who created is. As followers of Christ, our purpose becomes defined by two characteristics that Jesus spoke over his church, Jesus said we are, “salt and light.” Listen today to be encouraged in this purpose and recommit to moving in the best representation of Christ’s church in the earth as we can.
Scripture suggest that The Wisdom of God is the most valuable treasure that had been given to mankind. It is by wisdom that we are blessed and able to attain a long life. This treasure should be sought after more then materials things or any earthly gain. It is by Gods wisdom that we love an eternally Blessed life.
King Solomon in the Bible had all the wisdom of Heaven available to him, yet his life wasn’t the best representation of a life yielded to God. In the Book of Proverbs, Solomon recounts his shortcomings and encourages the reader to reject the foolish wisdom of man, and only pursue the Wisdom that God gives to His people.
“Wisdom is the Principle Thing”, so it’s important that we structure and build our life upon it. Through His word, God lays out a blueprint for how we are to build on the Wisdom found in Scripture, so it’s important that we dig in to get all that we can from the Lord.
Our tongue is arguably the most powerful member of our body. With it, we have the ability to build or tear down, to kill or speak life, into the varies circumstances, situations and even people that are apart of our lives. This is way we must allow the Lord to sanctify the words that follow from us, so that we can be givers of life and truth in this world.
Jesus told us that in the world we will have trouble, but to remain at peace because He has overcame the world. Because Jesus overcame, so can we. The key to our overcoming is heavily dependent on our relationship with The Holy Spirit, and His attribute of Long Suffering. Ask the Holy Spirit to produce this important fruit in our lives, so that we can endure and reap the Lord’s intended harvest of our life.
The Bible clearly states to the Believer that the Joy of the Lord is our strength. If this is true, which we most surly believe, we must guard our joy at all cost. Our hope rest in the truth that the Holy Spirit promises to cultivate Joy in our lives as an outcome of His presence residing in us. Let’s continue to Harvest a life of Joy so that strength can be our portion as we live daily in this world.
The Holy Spirit resides inside of every Believer who puts their faith in Jesus Christ. It should be our intention to grow in relationship with Him and allow His presence to produce in us the character and nature of Christ. The word calls this character “fruit,” and if cultivated in our lives we will walk in the fullness of all that God has for us.
Faith in Christ pleases God and it move’s His heart and hand on our behalf. Scripture holds many stories of men and women that kept their faith in Christ varies circumstances and trails. Let’s use their example to strengthen our faith in Jesus today!
Those who are in Christ are Abraham’s seed, thus making us heirs to his inheritance. All the promises of God are yes and Amen.
The Vine is the life giving source of the branches, and without a continue connection, the branch can’t do anything it was created to do. Jesus is The Vine, we are His branches, and we are called to bare much fruit.
The Apostle Paul Reminds us that rejoicing in the Lord is good for the Life of Believers. It’s is something that we should do all ways, continually, without measure.
The bond between Believers, creates the perfect atmosphere for those who put their faith in Jesus to thrive in. Walk in Unity. Walk in Love.
Unity amongst Believers is the key the Lord has given the church, to obtain blessing from The Lord. Paul reminds the church of Philippians of this a key and encourages us to guard unity of the faith!
God is The Creator and humanity is the crown of His creation. Each of us are created by God, individually designed to be an unique expression of His love. We each possess our own divine purpose, and call that we must press to attain.
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is, and will always be , the most influential event that has taken place in human history. Although the spiritual implications of this factual and historical event will take eternity to fully understand, we can rest in knowing that because Jesus died for our sins, we have all been reconciled back to God who loves us.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our Christian Faith; without it there would be no eternal life. Let us rejoice today in the greatest gift given to humanity through unconditional perfect love, put on display for all to see and experience.
Jesus’ death burial and resurrection continues to impact people, over 2000 years since it happened on the earth. One of the early people transformed was the Apostle Paul. Listen from his perspective, what how Jesus’ crucifixion transformed and changed his life forever!
No mater your origin story, Jesus came to redeem your life, and pay the price for your sin. Rejoice because the The sting of death no longer applies to the children of God, because of Christ we have Eternal life.
Praying the Psalms. Pslams 24 is a power picture of ascending and encountering the King of Glory! As we posture our lives before Him in prayer, remember you are the gates and daily open up your life to receive the fullness of His presence.
Praying through the Pslams. Deliverance is what takes place when we allow the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to work in our lives. God promises to show up for us, call upon His name.
Praying the Pslams: Chapter 91 of this powerful book tells of the powerful shelter and safety that’s found in the presence of the Lord. In this world of uncertainty rest assured that dwelling in the secret place of the Most High is where your find safety from harm.
As we celebrate our 10th Episode. We begin our journey of Praying the scripture starting with the book of Psalms. Starting in Chapter 27, we celebrate the confidence that’s gained when we know that God alone is our Light and Salvation.
Ezekiel had a vision of a mighty river flowing from the place where God dwells. Along the banks of the river are trees that are being used for the feeding and healing of the nations. The Presence of God is the river, and we are the trees. Tune in to hear how God desires to use you for His purpose.
In the face of a difficult and tuff situation Nehemiah knew that prayer to God was the only way to cause change to happen. Nehemiah positioned himself in prayer, before the almighty God, and victory swiftly became his portion.
The uncertainty of life will definitely cause hardship and pain as we journey on our way, and these hardships would try to encourage us to give up. Thank God our Heavenly Father promises strength to those who wait on Him.
Just as the Father in the story of the Prodigal son, awaited the return of his son, God is calling us to set the stage for all of those who He is calling back into the Family if God.
As we wrap the first month of the new year, let’s remember, the Lord our great protector.
In Matthew Chapter 6, Jesus shared with the crowd of seekers the secret to getting life’s needs met. Our fulfillment is not found in seeking things, but seeking The Kingdom.
Christ is the Master Garden, and our life is the ground that enjoys to cultivate. I’m Matthew 10, Jesus tells the story of soil and seeds, and encourages the listener to understand Importance of understanding the condition of your life as soil.
Life here on earth comes with battles. These battles are found in varies situations and circumstances we are challenged with in our day to day lives. 2 Corinthians 10:3 teaches us how to wage a good warfare, in the spirit, so that we can overcome in this world.
Prayer isn’t supposed to be intimidating. But many people find it hard to approach God. In Luke chapter 11, Jesus answers The Disciples request, to teach them how to pray. Jesus lays out a perfect roadmap on how everyone we can approach God, our Heavenly Father, who is waiting to hear from us.
