We have made it to the last episode on Throne of Glass! Join us today as we discuss Chapters 53, 54, & 55. It finally sinks in for Celaena that after her 4 years of servitude to the King she will finally be free. Knowing that there is no future for her and Dorian, she breaks things off with him, much to Chaol's delight. Lastly after making her wait, the King has Celaena sign her contract as his Champion but not before he threatens to kill her friends, starting with Chaol and then Nehemia and her family, should she fail to fulfill her duties.

We are so close to finishing Throne of Glass! In Chapters 51 & 52 Celaena heals from her injuries from the duel. Nehemia reveals her family history with Wyrdmark magic and confesses her true motives for being in Rifthold. Dorian deals with his guilt for his inaction during the duel, and we get a POV from the King of Adarlan himself.

We have made it to the final duel where Celaena faces off against Cain in Chapters 48, 49, & 50 of Throne of Glass! Poisoned by Kaltain and the Duke, Celaena battles hallucinations in the form of vicious beasts from another world, but the first Queen of Adarlan comes to her rescue. The King crowns the victor and then chaos ensues as Chaol makes his first kill and Kaltain is betrayed by Perrington and is thrown in the dungeons.

The day of the final duel has arrived for our champions in Chapters 45, 46, & 47 of Throne of Glass. Celaena warns Nox about the evil in the castle and he escapes in the dead of night. Kaltain, with the help of Duke Perrington, slips some poison into Celaena's goblet. Cain easily defeats Renault and the episode ends as Celaena faces off against Grave.

Today's episode is a short one as we discuss Chapters 43 & 44. In the aftermath of the Ridderak attack, Celaena awakes in her bed finding her wound completely healed thanks to Nehemia. Celaena decides to trust her since she saved her life and reveals some of her secrets. Later she comes face-to-face with the king again. He has returned from his trip to the White Fang Mountains completely alone; the rest of his traveling party mysteriously dead.

In Chapters 38 & 39 our characters attend the masked Yulemas Ball! Celaena makes quite an entrance and she dances the night away with Dorian. The jealousy is strong for both Lady Kaltain and even Chaol, though he would never admit it. The night ends with a perfect kiss.

The Champions are dwindling down one by one in Chapters 31, 32, and 33! Celaena wins the next Test with the help of two unexpected allies. There is a cute scene involving the prince and puppies, then Celaena has a very strange encounter with Cain. The episode ends with Nehemia delivering some tragic news about 500 Eyllwe rebels.

Things are really picking up in Chapters 24 & 25 of Throne of Glass! Celaena discovers a secret passageway, is visited by a ghost and given an important task along with an amulet for protection, and then is chased back to her rooms by snarling and growling. The Crown Prince and the Captain of the Guard visit her rooms after the Samhuinn feast. Chaol kicks Dorian out and then wakes Celaena to gift her a ring.

The countdown to House of Flame and Shadow is on! First we give you our initial thoughts and reaction to the CC3 announcement and then we dive into Chapters 19 & 20 of Throne of Glass.
In today's episode we're discussing Chapters 17 & 18 of Throne of Glass. Dorian attends his mother's court and we get our first interaction with the Queen. Later he finds Celaena and ends up sparring with Nehemia. We get some flirty Celaena/Dorian content and learn a few details about their previous loves Rosamund and Sam. In the end Chaol comes and breaks up the fun.

Things are getting interesting in Chapter 14 when one of the champions is found murdered the day before the first test. Celaena begins training every day at dawn and officially meets Nox Owen while giving him some pointers on knife throwing. We also learn how Chaol became Captain of the Guard and hear a heartbreaking story about Celaena's time as an assassin.

In Chapter 13 Celaena begins training harder to get stronger for the competition. We meet Princess Nehemia Ytger of Eyllwe and she asks Celaena to keep her company while she is at the castle. We have our first Chaol POV and learn that someone has killed a few royal hounds and their half eaten remains were found in the castle.

In Chapter 12 Celaena is introduced to the other 23 competitors and finds out what their previous “occupations” were. She meets Brullo, the Weapon’s Master, and they all go for a training run.
