RESPONSE. ABILITY.
To RESPOND to something means to verbally return an answer or physically react in response.
ABILITY is our possession of the means or skill to do something.
Responsibility, therefore, means our ability to possess or have the means or skills to verbally return an answer or physically act in response.
When we place blame on other people or on our circumstances, we act out like we have no other choice.
However, when we perfect our ability to respond to how we feel and make choices for how we want to feel we end up so much more empowered.
We get to show up as the best version of ourselves we can possibly be instead of just existing in a world where we feel like everyone and everything is out to get us.
When we perfect our ability to respond we are also perfecting our ability to feel our feelings without acting out to avoid, distract, or blame others.
Being an adult requires more effort and significantly more responsibility. But it's totally worth it to feel empowered over yourself and your life.
It's an amazing feeling to know you have the power to think, feel and respond completely independently from another person.
Explore how you can perfect your ability to respond as an emotional adult.
How can you stop blaming?
If you could do this, how would that change the results you're getting?
Tune in TODAY as I share this simple, effective, but extraordinarily powerful way to become the BEST VERSION of you beginning RIGHT NOW!

Imagine for a moment that you have a twisted nodded, frayed and very delicate ball of yarn.
At the center of the yarn is a hollow sphere that holds all of your hopes and dreams.
Now imagine that all you have to do to make your dreams come true is to untwist and work out the knots with lots of love and compassion for that delicate yarn.
Would you do it?
If you knew without a doubt that you'd eventually get to that sphere that holds all your dreams.
Would you work at it a little bit each and every day and never give up because you have a guarantee that you're going to make it to that dream sphere someday?
Would you start all over again with grace and compassion when the yarn gets tangled up because the cat or your kid got ahold of it?
Now imagine that ball of yarn is your real life.
Those twists and knots and delicate spots are your fears, your doubts and your self-judgements that are holding you back from achieving your dreams.

Would you do it?
Well I'm here to tell you to keep going when you're scared and doubtful.
Have compassion for yourself when you want to self-judge because the way I see it life does offer a guarantee.

Some people learn early in life if they don't do what someone they care about wants them to do, that person withdraws their love. And the fear of losing that love results in giving from a place of resistance, resentment and fear.
Similarly, some of us were raised with parents who fought or yelled a lot. Now as an adult, you may fear interactions where someone may get angry with you if you share how you truly feel or tell them no.
Why does all this matter? Because constantly being afraid of someone else's reaction keeps you in a place of resistance.
Fear of losing someones love,
fear of other's anger,
fear of loneliness,
fear of losing yourself,
guilt,
paybacks,
and approval are all reasons we resist. We don't want to feel a negative emotion.
The problem is, we resist to the point we feel unappreciated, that grows into resentment that can lead to depression.
But getting someone to behave or respond in a way that makes you happy never works. Instead, learn the skill of allowing any emotion from a place of compassion and love in order to take your power back and feel more in control of your life.
Listen in today as I teach you how to stop resisting negative emotions, break through blocks that have been holding you back from living your best life, and use your emotions as tools to create whatever it is you want most in life.

We believe what we believe based on things that happened in our past. However, a belief is just a thought. And our thoughts create our feelings, actions and results.
So if you do nothing, your past beliefs will create your current results. You will simply keep creating the same limitations of your past and confirm you are limited.
In order to create a new future, you must create a new belief that requires you to believe something you've never believed before.
And that's great news, because you get to believe whatever you want with whatever words you want.
The challenge is, how do you choose those words and create your future on purpose?
How do you believe something you don't yet believe?
In today's episode, I'm breaking down the fundamentals of a belief and sharing my top three tips to creating new beliefs in order for you to step boldly into your future with eyes wide open.
Get ready and excited to say hello to the brand new future you, today!

Why is it so difficult to set clear boundaries with your mom? Why do you feel guilty for asking her not to come over on the days when the kids schedules are really busy or when you work late and just want to relax?
In this episode I'm sharing what boundaries are and why you need them in your life. Especially with your mom!
Listen in to learn why you struggle to set boundaries and how to set them from a place of love and respect,
What are your expectations of your mom? If you had the perfect mother, what would you wish for?
There's nothing wrong with you for wanting your mother to be a "good mom".
So why do you feel so frustrated and hurt?
Listen in to learn why you're vision of a perfect mother is actually causing you pain and how to solve the problem and deepen your relationship.
For many daughter's it's very hard to recognize and understand the connection between the pain and unhappiness you feel and you're mothers treatment of you. Why is that? Because as daughters we have a longing for our mother's love and approval. We want to feel accepted by our mothers, we want our mother's to be proud of us. It's the longing and desire to feel loved and cared for by your mother that can dull the pain you feel when your mother says or does something hurtful or rejects you. As daughters we are very quick to accept the abuse because we want our mothers love. The truth is as daughters we are hardwired to need our mom for survival, our mom on the other hand is not hardwired to need us for survival. And while we like to believe that being a "good mother" is something that comes naturally and automatically, it's not.
