For me, sometimes, Limitations translates to love or care or protection. Most of the things that we are limited on doing are the things that can kill us or endanger us or the others around us. But we still do it, because people are wired to? Defy the Limits.
Don’t get me wrong. Defying or trying to go over your limits for growth is not bad. But sometimes pursuing something greater just for the sake of getting ahead of your other friends or impress people can also be something that not only can destroy us, but can destroy who we are as a person. To the point that we’ll do everything, good or bad just to get where we want to be.
And this is what Intentional Limitations are for.
Have you ever heard someone say to you that you're lucky because of what you have?
I've heard this a TON of times. Like "Swerte mo naman" In english, "You're so lucky".
And my response to that is just to smile and look them in the eye and I have this thought in my mind that that says "Have you ever even thought of what I had to go through to get here?" and I just continue to smile externally.
Friends, when you have someone that wants to achieve things in his/her life. I don't know how other people think but for someone who works his/her ass off on trying to make it to their dream. It's an insult to be labelled lucky. Never give any attributes to luck.
It's never luck. It's how patient you are in going through the process and going through the bad and good results that you have. It's about the sacrifices one is making to climb through the steep and rough mountain of life.
How many times have you been rejected?
Rejected in love. Rejected in a Job Applications, Rejected in asking for a raise, Rejected with a Business Plan, and proposals. How many times?
Probably a lot, right? Let me explain to you the reality in life. Our life is destined to have rejection all over it. And rejection leads to what? Failure.
If you've been listening to my previous podcasts, I am a great believer in failure. As Will Smith says, Fail Early, Fail Often, Fail Forward.
People never fail to find a way not to do things. There's always something that comes up. There's always this thing that stops them from doing the thing they say they need to do.
The bad thing here is that, we defend these thoughts and backing it up with positive affirmations that gives our brains the agreeing power that we can't really do things.
This is a bad place to be stuck at.
“That which we need the most will be found where we least want to look.".
Sometimes fear makes us back down of the things, places, and opportunities that makes us grow. The very thing that makes us stronger, and the places where we want to be in the future.
Fear holds us back to reaching new heights.
Encountering fear sometimes brings us to a vulnerable position of difficult choices. The choices where we need to choose between a choice that is gives us an easy way out but only has a short term value or hard to pick choice that temporarily takes away comfort in our lives but gives the most value long term.
If you were placed in a position like that, what would you choose?
The world is full of people and businesses that shouts, Buy this, Buy that, Try this! Taste this! Having that hope of people liking their product / service regardless of what they do!
And I find it fascinating, that in a world that we think it's hard to market and sell, there is a small loop hole or gap on how you can get people to work with you or buy your product without even trying to sell.
And that thing is what I call, the KWEPT Process.
In this podcast, we're gonna dive into how you can be motivated and what does the word motivate stands for.
Being motivated is hard. Really hard. You might find yourself starting with the right amount of motivation, doing the best you can be, in maybe in a day or two. But afterwards, there are some things that come just comes up and you get side tracked and distracted by either a positive experience or not. Then you find it hard to go back to where you were and get motivated.
To better understand what motivation is. I like to get acronyms in place and learn acronyms from other people to better understand certain words. Because, certain words have its own deep meaning. And today we're gonna dive into what the word MOTIVATE means.
I am here to share with you these two points:
Here in this short podcast, again, I am sharing why I collect books and buy books that I don't really read, yet. I've spent money on books as much as I've spent it on technology.
For me, books are my informative friend that doesn't run on batteries. So, I can still read them without the worry of it not being charged.
This is where I discuss how I got myself from hating books to actually appreciating them and learning from them and passing everything to others.
PLUS I've having 360Cast! A new series that aims to answer ONE specific question in 360 seconds or less. This is exciting, and I hope it excites you too.
Podcast releases are every Wednesdays and Saturdays, 11AM EST.
I've been dreaming and dying to create and publish a podcast since 2017 and it only took me literally 1 hour to create this podcast and bring it to life!
In this short intro episode, I am sharing why I'm doing this and why I consider this as a positive failure. All the things that I went through and my realizations within the past 6 months brought me to doing this first episode.
Now that I am free-er than ever, I am going to do this twice a week and I planned to share knowledge and content to provide meaningful conversation and to have your thoughts and just interact with people, especially in this time of Pandemic.
Podcast releases are every Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11AM EST.
