About a month ago, I went to Snowflake for a dessert after having my lunch. Last weekend, I went again to Snowflake after having lunch. But this time I went there with my family. I prefer to get a dessert at Snowflake because the dessert sold there are not too sweet.
I asked my eldest daughter to treat me one dessert using her pocket money that she has been saving from school. From the restaurant that we had our lunch, we need to walk a bit towards level 3 of Midvalley Megamall.
Once we reach at level 3, from far I can see there was no one queuing at Snowflake. So I and my eldest daughter went and go to the counter to order our choice of dessert.
I let my eldest daughter choose the dessert since she will be the one paying for it 😁 We spent some time staring at the menu. I also need to do some explaining about the menu to my daughter. Luckily there was no other customer queueing at the time.
Finally after few minutes of thinking, she made up her mind and choose the dessert . The dessert that she has chosen was Ujiryo Supreme that is under Kyoto Matcha series of dessert. I ask her why she choose Ujiryo Supreme? The answer she given me was "I like the color"
Total price for the chosen dessert was 5.99USD. Not that much different with my previous order during my last visit, which is Mango Deluxe. During my last visit there, I took approximately around 30 minutes (plus series of brain freeze) to finished one bowl of dessert. But since there were four of us, we able to finish the dessert within 15 minutes.
But both of my daughters does not really like the taste of Ujiryo Supreme dessert. They said it was too bitter. For our next trip there I will choose the dessert. For sure I will choose mango based dessert 🤤

(Pictures) Order and Pickup Counter Order and payment need to be made at the front counter. After payment were made, you will be given a pager. Then one of the staff will show which table you will be seating at. When the pager beeps, you can collect your dessert at the collection counter.
(Pictures) Enjoying our Ryuji Supreme dessert This is how Ryuji Supreme looked like. I truly understand why the kids does not like this dessert. It taste a bit bitter. Especially after we add additional green tea on top of the dessert. If I were to choose between Ryuji Supreme with Mango Deluxe, I will choose Mango Deluxe 😁

In my previous post, I have posted about Nasi Kukus Harimau Menangis (https://ecency.com/hive-141359/@rosmadirazali/nasi-kukus-harimau-menangis-crying) and Nasi Kukus Sotong (https://ecency.com/hive-141359/@rosmadirazali/nasik-kukus-sotong-goreng-fried)
For yesterday lunch, I go to the same shop. But this time I tried their Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah. Instead of getting my lunch for take-away, this time I went and dine-in there.
Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah = Steamed Rice with Herbs Chicken
When I was there, the place is crowded with customers, but there were an empty table. Joining me for lunch was @irmeyhamidi and both of my daughters. The came all the way from Subang Perdana to my office to have lunch with me 😁
At first, I wanted to bring them to Madam Kwan, but the restaurant was fully booked. So the next place that I have in mind was either Sushi King or Nasi Kukus Tonggek.
Long story short, we decided to get our lunch at Nasi Kukus Tonggek. @irmeyhamidi ordered Nasi Kukus Ikan Keli (steam rice with fried cat fish) and I ordered Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah (steam rice with herbs chicken).
During my previous visit here, dine-in was not allowed, and the shop is only open for take away. This is my first time seeing the way Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah being prepared for dine-in customers.
The steam rice and herbs chicken being prepared by putting it inside a metal cylinder as shown in below picture. Next, the curry is poured on top of the rice and herb chicken inside the metal cylinder.
There were few slices of cucumber and a smidge of chili paste put beside the metal cylinder. You need to lift and slowly shake the metal cylinder in order to pour out the contents inside the metal cylinder.
I was being extra careful when taking out the content because the steam rice and the curry was really hot. I even had a hard time holding the metal cylinder. I think this is one thing that the shop owner / crew need to re-look at. This can turn to be an accident waiting to happen.
My first attempt was not successful because I'm not able to hold the metal cylinder properly due to the heat. I waited for about 10 minutes before I try it once again.
The second time, I am able to pour out the steam rice 😁 After all of the content was poured out, I proceed to mixed the curry evenly with the steamed rice. What I can describe about the taste is the herb chicken was really tender and juicy, and it goes really well with the steam rice and curry.
The total price for I and my wife lunch was 4.5USD. For my next trip there, I for sure will bring my own cutlery set. I was given a plastic spoon and fork. It was challenging to eat the chicken using those plastic cutlery.

It was 12 PM, when my colleague ask me, where to have our lunch? At first, I suggested for us to go to Midvalley Megamall food court. I already brought a lunch that was packed by my wife. I just wanted to go to the food court for the drinks.
When I and my colleague was at our office level lift, that is when another colleague run out of the office and told us that the boss wanted to pay for everyone lunch for today.
What we need to do is, just need to pass our receipt back to HR and claim the amount that we have spent for lunch. There is a various choices of food and restaurant to choose from in Kuala Lumpur. I and my colleagues sat down and discuss on where we want to go for lunch.
After few minutes of discussion, we has decided to go to Mahbub Briyani house that is located in Bangsar city center. Mahbub is a Mamak restaurant that sold biryani, and their bestseller would be their Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu. My last time going there was more that six months ago.
The Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu is priced at 5 USD per plate. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is worth the price. The restaurant do sell Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu set, that comes with quarter honey chicken, a full plate of briyani rice, a cucumber acar and a plate of dhal gravy.
"Restoran Mahbub started in 1974 originally as Restaurant Sharifa in Bangsar. In 1995 the restaurant was formally renamed and has been successfully run for last three generations known popularly as Restoran Mahbub. In the beginning, we started with very few dishes but quickly gained popularity with our main dish the Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu (Honey Chicken Briyani) which has become the best signature dish since 1974 until now." : http://www.restoranmahbub.com/v3/
In total, there was six of us that wanted to Mahbub Restaurant. We went there using one car and one motorbike. Four of my colleague goes there using one of my colleague's car. Where I and another one colleague went there by motorbike.
My colleague rode his motorbike, and I just ride pillion. While riding pillion, I recorded our journey there. It was a 3 minutes journey using a motorbike. If using a car, it will be a 10 to 15 minutes journey due to traffic. Car parking spot is also a factor.
Since I reach the restaurant earlier than my colleague that goes by car, I went inside and reserve a table for six. The table was a bit far inside. That is the only table that is available because we do not make any reservation. It is advisable to call and reserved a table if you were coming with a group that is more that 4 people.
There, you have an option whether (i) pick and choose you choice of side dishes at the counter. Or (ii) order a set menu from the waiter. The advantage of option (i) is u can choose and customize your meal according to your taste and preference. While option (ii), you will get the standard meal set for you. The queue at the counter was super long since we were there during lunch hour.
I don't want to queue so I ordered the set meal. This is what it looked like: A set of Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu. It was so tasty, that I didn't bother to have a chat with my colleagues not until I finished my lunch. After completed my lunch, I ordered a watermelon juice as my drink.
The lunch packed by @irmeyhamidi will be eaten during my tea break later in the evening 😁

I was at Paradigm Mall with my family for a karaoke session at Manekineko karaoke. While walking from the parking lot towards Manekineko, I heard a bagpipes music playing. The music was really loud, and it sounded like a live performance. It was so loud that I can hear the music once I enter the ground floor.
When I reach at Level 1 of Paradign Mall, there is where I saw a pipe band that was playing at the Level 1 lobby. The pipe band were marching at the lobby area while playing the bagpipes and drum. There was one security guard that escorting them along the way.
The last time I see pipe band was during school time, more accurately during inter-school sports day. I do know know much about music instruments, but I really like to watch live band. In fact, I did try to learn how to play guitar. But after few classes, I have to accept the truth that I really don't have talent for music instruments.
My daugthers stood still and watch the pipe band. They seems to enjoy it. I personally loved the drum roll. For me, the beat of the drums sounds really fascinating. It must require a lot of practise to master the drum roll.
I recorded few seconds of the pipe band. We did not stay until the finished the songs, because I wanted to reach at the karaoke place before any available rooms are taken / sold out. I wanted to gave more information about pipe band, but I myself do not know much about them. So I snip a few statement from wikipedia as below:
A pipe band is a musical ensemble consisting of pipers and drummers.[1] The term pipes and drums, used by military pipe bands is also common: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipe_band

Last weekend I had my solo ride from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka. The reason I do this solo ride is because I was too stressed out with my work, and need some time out for myself. It was not a really long ride, just a 2++ hour ride from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka city.
Below is the screenshot of that I’ve taken from Google maps. The route shows in the maps were the highway route. The travelling time if using the highway is much faster. But for this solo ride, I’ve used the old road.
The main reason why I used the old road instead of the highway, is because I wanted to enjoy the scenery. By using the old road, I will be going through some villages and beaches. I wont be able to get that kind of scenery if I am to use the highway.
I made few stops along the way, took my time to enjoy the view. One of the stop was at Telok Gong beach which is nearby the border of Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. It was a beautiful beach with an amazing view.
I sat at the beach for 15 minutes before continuing with my journey. Few minutes on the road, while on my way toward Melaka, I saw a herd of cows walking by the road side. I stop at the road side, and took their picture. Suddenly, a male cow charged right straight at me. I take by surprise and couldn’t move in time to avoid the cow. I was really lucky that the cow stop just a few feet away, and it stare into my eyes. Honestly, I was really scared, but I played it cool. The cow then get back into its herd and walk away
After getting the scare of my life, I continue my journey. Some of the toad that I use is really secluded, there was nothing on the right and left side. Only bushes and trees. If I were to travel during the night, I would not choose this road. But since it is still daytime, I braved myself to use the route.
After another one hour of travelling, I finally reach Melaka city. I was really lucky because the weather was cloudy and not that hot. Traffic in Melaka was bad. But it is not an issue to me since I am using my motorbike to commute inside Melaka city
I stopped by at few places in Melaka before heading to my hotel. The places are such as Medan Samudera, Taming sari Tower, Klebang Coconut Shake and Kuih Keria Antarabangsa Limbongan.
I have made a post about Kuih Keria Antarabangsa Limbongan and Medan Samudera. I will post regarding Taming Sari Tower within this week. I will not post about Klebang Coconut Shake because I didn’t take any picture when I was there.
I stayed at Melaka for two days and one night. I travel back to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday morning. But I used the highway during my travel back to Kuala Lumpur.

Yeayyy, this is officially my first Asean Hive Community content with 3speak video. I got quite confuse on how to connect my HIVE account, then how to upload it here. After a few tries, I managed to upload my video 😁
I workout four times a week. With each session of 30 to 40 minutes. In my mid 20's and early 30's, the reason why I'm working out is because I wanted to look good. But as I am nearing 40's, I continue my routine of working out because of health reason.
In year 2016, I was diagnose with several diseases. I was mentally down for a few weeks. But after that I set my goal, and I was determined to continue my workout.
I have been to multiple gym. Whenever I joined a new company, I will change to a new gym. This is because I prefer to subscribe my membership to a gym that is close by my office. So that I can go to workout during the lunch hour. I used to workout at 9pm onwards. But I feel like I didn't get enough rest. So I change my timing to lunchtime.
My current office now is at Bangsar. There are two gym that is nearby my office (i) Fitness First (ii) RFC. Before I subscribe, I taken the trial session at both gym. Honestly, Fitness First has much more equipment and facilities if to compare to RFC. Even the membership fee is almost the same.
But I choose RFC rathen than Fitness First. The sole reason why I choose RFC, is because it is not crowded. I can use the same equipment without need to worry about other people wanted to use it.
I have subscribe to this gym for eight month now. However, three months are loss due to national lockdown. But the gym management reimbursed me with two months 😁
Below is how the gym looked like:
