TerraUSD on Monday fell below it's $1USD peg, something unheard of for a backed stablecoin. This instability resulted in its governing currency, Terra (LUNA) dropping more than 50% in less than 24 hours.
Prices for Terra have dropped below $30 for the first time in many months. It is expected the price for Terra to continue being volatile until the price of TerraUSD is back to its $1 peg.

According to El Salvador's president Nayib Bukele via Twitter, the country made a purchase of 500 Bitcoin amid its low market prices today. The purchase was made at an average price of $30,744 USD per coin - a hefty $15,372,000USD purchase overall.
This purchase brings the total BTC reserves of the country above 1,600 BTC. El Salvador first started purchasing Bitcoin back in September 2021. It is the first country to recognize Bitcoin as legal tender in the country, a policy that went into effect shortly after the country purchased its first supply.

The luxury brand Gucci will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments in US-based stores as reported by Vogue Business. Crypto will be accepted at 5 stores as Gucci's pilot into Web3-enabled payments.
Gucci will start by accepting more than 10 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Shiba Inu, and 5 stablecoins.
Gucci is the latest brand to join in accepting crypto payments in a vast collection of companies and brands that already do so. Over the last few years, Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, and many other companies have taken to accepting Cryptocurrency payments and wallets. GameStop is among other brands looking to expand operations in the crypto community, with a GameStop-branded Crypto Wallet releasing soon.

GameStop has officially released a website for their upcoming cryptocurrency wallet - GameStop Wallet.
According to the website, GameStop Wallet will be available as an iOS app and desktop browser extension for Google Chrome. It will also feature NFT capabilities, which go hand-in-hand with GameStop NFT, a GameStop-branded NFT marketplace launched earlier this year.
