Fishermen/Fisherwomen's exposure to various weathers makes them hardy and fearless. They were accustomed to endure many trying circumstances patiently. They often toiled for hours without success, yet they were always ready to try once more (Luke 5:5; John 21:3).

Despite facing disappointment after disappointment, these individuals never lost their spirit and were always willing to try again. They would spend hours upon hours persevering through the challenges and obstacles in front of them, striving for success with each attempt. Even though their efforts sometimes went unrewarded, they refused to give up and instead chose to use their failures as motivation to keep pushing forward. Their resilience and determination were truly remarkable and an inspiration to anyone who witnessed their unwavering commitment to their goals.This powerful story, told in both the Gospel of Mark and the Gospel of Matthew (4:19), speaks to the transformative power of faith and the importance of answering the call to follow Jesus. It reminds us that to truly live a life of purpose and meaning; we must be willing to let go of our fears and doubts and trust in God's guidance.

𝑬𝑽𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑺𝑴 𝑰𝑺 𝑨 𝑴𝑼𝑺𝑻! To truly serve to the best of our abilities, we must wholeheartedly believe in the positive message surrounding us. We must believe that we have been specifically selected and given the necessary tools to make a meaningful impact. "Spiritual Digesting" involves reading, hearing, and analyzing the information to extract key ideas and concepts. This process involves breaking down theinformation into manageable or key components that identify with your life and where God calls you.

To truly absorb God's teachings, we must actively engage with them. This involves not only prayer but also a willingness to receive and internalize His word.

Once we have received it, we must work to digest and assimilate the wisdom into our being. By doing so, we can more fully understand and embody His teachingsdaily.

It is high time to shake things up and challenge the status quo. We need to take bold action and make some waves in order to bring about real change. Although it may cause some discomfort and ruffle a few feathers, pushing limitations and moving forward toward progress is necessary. It's also necessary to stand against the adversary, the enemy tactics, and the crisis happening in the world around you.

Many people claim to follow Jesus but are content to stay grounded with birds instead of soaring with eagles.
Many individuals profess to be followers of Jesus Christ, yet they lack the drive and passion to pursue a deeper relationship with Him.

-Instead of soaring to greater heights and experiencing the fullness of God's grace, these individuals settle for a life that is grounded - they are content with mediocrity and are satisfied with the status quo.

They are like birds who are comfortable with their surroundings and happy to stay in their familiar environment.

However, those who pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus are like eagles with the courage and determination to spread their wings and soar to greater heights. They are not afraid to leave their comfort zones and take risks because they know that God is with them every step of the way.

Jesus ruffled lots of feathers; what's your problem? Are you trying to be liked? Do you want to fit in? Don't you know who you are or what your true identity is in Christ Jesus? Are you still living life la vida loca (Livin' the Crazy Life)?

Heart posture is a huge factor that puts us in the most promising position to succeed in our lives. The heart posture stems from gratitude for the gifts we've been given, no matter how great or small they may be. Being grateful makes us eager to serve God with all we have, withholding nothing. When God inhabits the imperfect and broken pieces in our lives, the healing hope of His power is often made visible and tangible to us.

An unhealthy relationship with Christ can be silently damaged by a poor spiritual posture. The state of a person's spiritual posture can greatly affect their relationship with Christ. It refers to the way a person stands before God in their heart and mind. An unhealthy spiritual posture can be a silent killer of this relationship. ➳If a person's posture towards God is one of indifference or apathy, they may find it difficult to connect with their faith or feel God's presence in their life.

➳If a person's posture is one of pride or self-righteousness, they may struggle to see their own faults and need for God's grace.

➳Spiritual posture allows you to see God in ways that you’ve never seen Him before in the midst of your pain, grief, and suffering.

➳Spiritual posture is the inner attitude of the heart and mind.

Therefore, it is important to cultivate a healthy spiritual posture by regularly examining our hearts and minds, seeking to align ourselves with God's will, and humbly acknowledging our need for His guidance and forgiveness. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵!

Spiritual midwives are women that have been trained to assist in providing healthy spiritual pregnancies and spiritual deliverance. Midwives can identify the signs of conception and pregnancy. By the revelation of the Holy Spirit, we see and understand the physical discomfort, pain and mental pangs of someone’s spiritual pregnancy. As we identify these ailments as more than just someone’s frustrated life, we are able to mentor a person to ensure a healthy deliverance. Midwives can and will change generations. They are equipped to war on behalf of families and communities.

Many of us know the enemy is always looking for the chance to kill, steal and destroy. Midwives operate from Ezekiel 16:4-5. Spiritual midwives have the authority to cut the enemy’s cords of destruction from choking the destiny from the lives of people. With their prayers, they wash individuals by the power of the Holy Spirit, decree that they are the salt of the earth, and then cover them in the blood of Jesus! There is so much more that midwives do. They are important to the body of Christ!

When dealing with problematic individuals, it can be challenging to "smile and endure it." An unpleasant person or negative interaction towards you can linger in your mind and rob your thoughts even when you're not around them.

"Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay, says the Lord. On the contrary: If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." - Romans 12:17-21

David said, “Encourage yourself in the Lord.” Sometimes, that’s one of the most challenging things to do when you feel you need someone to come alongside you, and that may be true. Everybody needs a friend; the perfect friend can be found in Jesus.

Sometimes, you must strengthen yourself in the Lord. That is another word for having confidence. Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in me, He will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” and John 15:5 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. A poverty mindset refers to the way of thinking that causes people to stay in poverty. A person with a poverty mindset believes they are poor because they deserve it; there is no better way. woe is me; my ancestors did it this way, and so can I! Some opportunities come to limit you, stop you from taking risks, or that all are dangerous. any success is temporary and non-replicable; generally, remaining in the back of the pack is safest. While a poverty mindset can be shared in individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, it is possible to develop this thinking at any point in life, regardless of past experiences or circumstances. Poverty mindset, by definition, is when people have a self-sabotaging mindset, unintentionally sabotaging their drive for abundance by opposing their position toward riches. This prevents you from reaching your financial potential. This is a subtle mindset that creeps up on you without your conscious knowledge and is sometimes referred to as poverty mentality syndrome. It’s something you may passively acquire from your social environment or has been passed down from generation to generation. Let's hear from Prophetess Tammy Peak-Williams, Minister Latausha Cheatham, and myself, Co-Pastor RAM discussing how we overcame domestic violence from a relationship that we plan would last a lifetime forever, and we were willing to stay despite the abuse for our children because were persuaded and believed the lie the abuser told us.

What Is Domestic Abuse?

Domestic violence can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Abuse can be mental, physical, sexual, emotional, financial, or psychological actions or threats toward another individual. Any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, coercion, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone. Domestic abuse can happen to anyone! It can occur within any relationship! Domestic violence is a desire to gain and maintain power and control over an intimate partner. The abuser exerts power and control over the victim.

Domestic violence doesn't have a face, race, or gender, and it can affect anyone regardless of age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, faith, and education level. Domestic abuse may culminate in serious physical injury or death.

Domestic violence isn't just physical; it's emotional, verbal, spiritual, financial, sexual, mental, social, and cultural.

Recognizing the signs of domestic abuse; does your partner…

Embarrass or make fun of you in front of your friends and family or their family and friends?

Put down your accomplishments?

Does your partner prevent you from going to work or try sabotaging your employment?

Is the relationship all about the other person and less about you?

Make you feel like you are unable to make decisions on your own?

Use intimidation or threats to gain compliance?

Tell you that you are nothing without them?

Mistreat you—grab, push, pinch, shove, or hit you in any way?

Call you several times a night or show up to ensure you are where you said you would be?

Use drugs or alcohol as an excuse for saying hurtful things or abusing you?

Blame you for how they feel or act?

Pressure you sexually?

Withhold financial support even if it's your money?

Make you feel like there is "no way out" of the relationship?

Prevent you from doing something you won't – like spending time with friends or family?

Try to keep you from leaving after a fight or go somewhere after a fight to "teach you a lesson"?

Questions: Do you...Sometimes feel scared of how your partner may behave?

Constantly make excuses to other people for your partner's behavior?

Believe that you can help your partner change if only you change something about yourself?

Try not to do anything that would cause conflict or anger your partner?

Always do what your partner wants you to instead of what you want?

Stay with your partner because you fear what your partner would do if you broke up?

Fear that your partner will take your child/children if you leave?

Feel alone and believe that no one understands you and that whatever happens to you is your fault?

Please speak with someone who will help you and not judge you, someone outside the family who doesn't know you or your partner, so their opinion isn't biased.

We may not realize we blame God at times, but we do.

God is good! I believe wholeheartedly in the sovereignty of God, just like the next person, but sometimes we tend to elevate authority over His other attributes. When we do, we blame God for everything, even our decisions. Don't confuse what God wanted for your life choices or what you decided to do or deal with We blame God and satan way too much and forget He gives us the freedom of choice.

We must realize and trust in God's goodness in a way that pleases Him. Otherwise, we'll sinfully blame Him! We might respond to our circumstances by saying one thing with words while believing another thing within our hearts.

When doing so, we begin to separate characteristics of God and paint a different picture of God than who He truly is.

Imperfection means to have a fault, blemish, or undesirable feature. It is the state of being faulty or incomplete in one’s eyes.

One of the misperceptions that we may struggle with during this earth life has to do with the concept of perfection. Many falsely believe that we must achieve perfection in this life in order to be saved or used by God.

If we accept that we are flawed children of God who are learning as we go, we can accept our imperfections. Expecting immediate perfection would mean denying us the opportunity for growth. Imperfection is an opportunity to learn new things and to grow becoming a better you and it gives you your own uniqueness.

Healing the Mental Level

Your mindset is a collection of thought patterns and beliefs that shape your view of reality. It’s a story that you tell yourself about your identity and about the world around you.

The mental level of life encompasses our intellect, ideas, beliefs, and basic life philosophy. In order to clear and heal the mental level, we need to become conscious of our thought patterns and underlying belief systems. We need to educate ourselves about other ideas and eventually enable ourselves to consciously choose the beliefs, values, and philosophies that make most sense to us and support our conscious evolution.

Mark 9:23, says, “Jesus said to him, 'If you are able! -- All things can be done for the one who believes.”

It's imperative to understand your mindset and challenge your thoughts and liberate yourself from being controlled by what you think and what others think of you. You realize that your thoughts and the thoughts of others are just thoughts unless there is truth to the matter. They don't determine who you are and what you do unless you allow them to. If there's no enemy within, the outside enemy can't harm you.

Mirror symbolize: Mirrors reflect light which allows them to reflect the world around them. In spiritual concepts, light is a powerful symbol of wisdom and awareness. As a consequence, mirrors are symbols and carriers of truth and reflect what our truth is.

Here are some thoughts of characteristics and uses of a mirror applied….

• We look into the mirror to see how we look and make changes – No one looks into a mirror; sees something he needs to change and then just forgets about it.

• The better the mirror, the better the reflection. A poor-quality mirror often introduces distortions. We must be aware of looking at ourselves through the eyes of others, what we have, or titles and positions, but must instead see ourselves as God sees us. Look into the perfect Word instead of the polluted world.

• Reflective – God’s Word reflects his personality, reflects his attributes, attitudes, and desires. It also shows us how God sees us.

• Introspective – Through reading God’s Word, we see Him and we see ourselves and the areas of our lives where we don’t measure up to God’s standards

• A mirror can break – Although a mirror can break, God’s word will stand forever.

• The only thing you usually get from a shattered mirror is a cut hand! – Often, when we have shattered families, or other aspects of our lives are shattered, we get wounded because we use these things as our mirrors instead of God’s Word.

The mind constantly receives different and usually conflicting or opposing thoughts on any and every subject. It is the clash of these conflicting thoughts (the mental debates about which thought to choose), that is referred to as the battle of the mind.

The mind is the generating station for our thoughts. Thinking is done in the mind. It is also in the mind that we have our consciousness, and form ideas, opinions, impressions about anything. When our thoughts stir us strongly enough they can stimulate our emotions, and our stimulated emotions have the power to spur us into action. Action can be positive or negative.

Because God's Word is so important, minds become important as well. Everyone's minds' importance is also shown in Philippians 4:6, which says “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7 NIV).

Proverbs 23:7 “As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

Romans 12:2 "but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
