In today's episode, Bishop Joshua gives a brief message - straight to the point. Life is a series of seasons, each bringing its own set of experiences and lessons. For those on a journey of faith with God, these seasons can fluctuate between times of abundant blessings and challenging problems. Understanding how to navigate these different phases is crucial to maintaining a strong and resilient faith.
Faith is not just about cherishing the good times but also about persevering through the hardships. Your reactions to these problems show your level of spirituality.
While it’s natural to hope for blessings, we must also cultivate acceptance of life's challenges. True faith involves trusting that every season, whether good or bad, serves a purpose and contributes to our growth. Embracing both blessings and problems with an open heart allows us to deepen our relationship with Jesus and strengthen our spiritual journey.
Fear that whispers you’re losing your mind can be more than stress—it can be a spiritual battle that started with a desperate choice. We open up a raw, honest look at why people reach for rituals and voodoo when life hits hard, and how those “solutions” can turn into sleepless nights, eerie visions, and a home that no longer feels safe.

Did you know that the soul needs to be nourished daily? In today’s episode, we explore the vital importance of spiritual nourishment. We talk about the three types of baptisms mentioned in the Bible: with water, with the Holy Spirit, and with fire. We discuss how each of these baptisms has a special and profound meaning. The baptism with water symbolizes liberation from the world, the baptism with the Holy Spirit strengthens us to persevere until the end, and the baptism of fire purifies the soul, making us new and transformed. Inspired by the example of Jesus, who underwent these three baptisms, we encourage everyone to seek the Holy Spirit for strength and power in tribulations.
In addition, we present a powerful prayer and a message of encouragement for everyone, especially those facing difficult challenges such as imprisonment or hospitalization. We remind everyone of the importance of continually seeking God’s presence and sharing this message of hope with friends and family. This is the tenth day of our program dedicated to the Holy Spirit and the God of the Bible, and we promise more inspiring chapters to come.
God has chosen you! Despite numerous failures and past mistakes, you are chosen. According to the Bible, God “chose the weak things of the world”. Perfection is not a requirement to receive the Holy Spirit. Embrace your brokenness, and allow the Holy Spirit to remodel you. Like Paul, who went from being against Christianity to embracing the gospel, God can transform you too. God does not pass judgment; when you give up your past and surrender your life to Him, He grants you a fresh start.

Many Christians today tend to resist the problems they encounter, rather than overcome them. Instead of letting the problems overpower them, they can become like thorns in the flesh. Just as God allowed Job to face tests and challenges from Satan, it prompted Job to rely more on God and maintain humility. These spiritual "thorns" we face can strengthen our spiritual life and remain with God. Instead of complaining about current challenges, view them as opportunities to honor God's name. Stay strong, keep faith, and trust in the Lord.

At the Universal Church, everyone is welcome just as they are. Our motto is simple: "Come as you are, but you won't stay as you are!" Our goal is to save souls for the kingdom of God, ensuring no one is left behind. Within the Universal Church, there are specific groups tailored for young people, children, elders, and others. These groups collaborate closely to guide individuals to the kingdom of God and nurture their relationship with GOD. These groups include:
"...Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 28:19

Each day, our discussions revolve around serving the Lord in every episode. Perhaps you question your adequacy. You might feel inadequate to serve in God's army. Just like the human body relies on all its parts, we all play a crucial role. To be utilized by God, be willing, say to the Lord, "Here I am," and He will bring His purpose to fruition in your life.
"What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me?..."- Psalms 116:12
Now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand,"I have no need of you," nor again the head to the feet," I have no need of you"
No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. - 1 Corinthians 12:20-21-22
Food for Thought:
Every member of our body is necessary. You are necessary in the Kingdom of God.

One of the attributes of the Holy Spirit is being available for God's use. The more you dedicate yourself to serving God, the more He will empower you. Within the Universal Church, there are various groups like the children's Bible class, the teen power group, the youth power group, Caleb, and many others. The teen group is designed to help them comprehend things at their level. In the Universal Church, we nurture individuals from children to elders and introduce children to the word of God so they can learn about the kingdom of God as they grow up. Jesus encouraged bringing children to Him without hesitation, so bring them!
...Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven..." - Matthew 19:14
Food for Thought:
Let the children come to God.

You cannot seek the Holy Spirit just because others have it; your desire must come from within. Salvation awaits those who genuinely seek to serve God. By serving God faithfully, you will receive His blessings in return, that is salvation. Keep in mind that the more you give, the more you receive from God.
The Soul Winner's Reward:
"And whoever gives of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward..." - Matthew 10:42
Food for Thought:
Once you serve the Lord, you are going to be rewarded by Him."

The fastest path to welcoming the Holy Spirit is through belief and a strong desire to serve God. The Holy Spirit works through us as a conduit to share blessings with others. You don't require a specific title to serve God; you can serve by assisting those in need, whether in prison or new to the church. Trust in receiving the Holy Spirit and give generously. God has a plan for your life, so place your faith in Him entirely, and you will witness the results.
Food for Thought:
"The quickest way to receive the Holy Spirit is to believe and desire to serve Him."
"And the angel answered and said to her," The Holy Spirit will come upon you," and the power of the Highest will overshadow you..."
Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.." - Luke 1:35-38

Greater than speaking in tongues is the ability to prophesy and serve others. While tongues are not the sole guarantee of salvation or being baptized with the Holy Spirit, your role as a servant of God is essential. When you are filled with God's Spirit, He empowers you in unimaginable ways. Instead of indulging in worldly pleasures, make yourself available to help those in need. This message is particularly directed toward young individuals caught up in a destructive lifestyle of prostitution, drugs, theft, and violence. Surrender to God, and witness the transformation He will bring into your life.
"He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification." - 1 Corinthians 14:4-5

Some individuals do not experience the Holy Spirit because they are unwilling to serve God. God does not seek perfection or a list of qualifications from you. Instead, He desires your dedication to serve Him wholeheartedly, wherever you are. Just like how Jesus chose the disciples in their imperfect state, calling them to follow Him and serve the Lord. By serving the Lord with all your heart and soul, you will witness God working through you more profoundly. Remember, as you give, you also receive – it's a cycle. God wants to empower you with the Holy Spirit for the rest of your journey.
"...Jesus walking by the Sea of Galilee saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea' for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, follow Me and I will make you fishers of men. They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there He saw two other brothers James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother in the boat with Zebedu their father mending their nets He called them and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed Him..." - Matthew 4:19-22

The Holy Spirit is accessible to all, regardless of age, condition, or past experiences. Do not let these factors limit you; instead, let God's promise take root in your life. Jesus welcomes everyone without discrimination. Invite His presence into your life.
"Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days,..." - Joel 2:28-29

The Lord does not discriminate against anyone.

Many individuals tend to fixate on their challenges, overlooking the vital aspect of nurturing their souls. Even in prison, some appreciate the smallest things, while others outside have abundance but fail to value it. Irrespective of your history, skin color, or education, the Holy Spirit is ready to fill you. Shift your attention from your troubles to your spiritual well-being. Instead of fretting over problems, entrust them to God for resolution.
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy..." - Joel 2:28

There are three types of baptisms: one with water, one with the Holy Spirit, and one with fire. The water baptism symbolizes liberation from worldly influences and a spiritual rebirth. The baptism with the Holy Spirit signifies perseverance until the very end. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you will encounter challenges such as pressure, temptation, and trials in order to attain salvation. Through the refining fire, you will undergo a transformation, much like gold being purified by fire. Jesus himself went through this process before performing miracles like turning water into wine. When faced with trials, remember that the Strength within you is greater than any external challenge.
You too can receive the Holy of Holies
"For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
Food For Thought:
The Baptism in water is a spiritual burial from the things of the world. The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is to empower us to remain until the end.

Feeling unworthy of the Holy Spirit due to your past or past wrongdoings? Remember, God chose you just as He chose the apostle Paul, previously known as Saul, despite his mistakes. Saul, who later became Paul, sought Jesus even though he was once blind and misguided, even persecuted Christians. Despite being criticized and persecuted by others, God still chose him. Instead of judging, let's offer support. You are not alone, so don't lose hope. Approach God, and He will embrace you.
"Then Ananias answered, " Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name." But the Lord said to him, " Go for he is a chosen vessel of Mine..."
- Acts 9:13-15

We don't judge, We Help.
Even though you did so many wrong things, if right now you seek the Lord the Holy Spirit will come upon you.

Throughout your life, you've had various mentors: your mother, your initial teacher, learning to drive, and your first job. Typically, our first mentor is our mother, who imparts valuable lessons that stay with us as we mature. Yet, when we have the Holy Spirit, His guidance remains with us indefinitely. While we may not recall our first teachers, they were there to educate us on different subjects and lessons. From learning to drive to starting your first job, each step involved someone guiding you and aiding in your growth. Ultimately, the most significant helper/ mentor of all is the Holy Spirit.
He is the best Helper.

Becoming an enemy of God is a choice made by many today when they disregard the teachings of God. Some knowingly disobey, persisting in their wrongful actions against God. An impactful illustration is Lucifer/Satan, who, due to pride and disrespect towards God, transformed from being in God's presence to becoming the devil. The Bible warns against serving two masters and forming friendships with those who oppose God, as this could lead us to become enemies of God. Remember, the company you keep reflects who you are.

Sin is the act of going against God's will and commandments, whether through wrongdoing or by failing to do good. The Bible tells us that Adam, the first man, was created by God. However, after Adam and Eve broke their covenant with God and lost access to Paradise, they became mortal beings. As we grow old and soon pass away, we have the potential to become either a natural or life-giving spirit. During the Fast of Daniel, we strive to fill ourselves with the eternal, Presence of the Holy Spirit, rather than the temporal things of this world.

We believe in a great God, who created us in his image. But somehow, we forget that we carry a part of that greatness within us too. We underestimate our abilities and let self-doubt hold us back. But what if we chose to believe in ourselves too? What if we believed that we have the potential to achieve great things in our lives? Believing in ourselves can unlock doors that we never thought possible. It can give us the confidence to take risks and chase after our dreams. When we believe in ourselves, we become unstoppable, because we know that with God on our side, nothing can stand in our way. So, if you're feeling lost and unsure of your abilities, I want you to know that you are capable of greatness. You have been created for a purpose and it's time for you to step into that purpose. Believe in yourself, trust in God's plan for your life, and watch as he takes you on a journey that will surpass all your expectations. As you embark on this journey of self-belief, know that it's not always easy. There will be moments of doubt and fear, but don't let that hold you back. You were created for greatness! Yes, you! Don't ever forget that. You have a unique purpose, a special dream, that only you can accomplish. But don't think for a second that your journey will be easy. Look at Abraham, Jacob, Moses, and so many others in the bible. They faced their fair share of problems and obstacles. But the difference between them and the average person is that they had faith. They believed that God had a plan for them and that their dreams were worth pursuing. And because of their faith, they were able to make the impossible become possible. They accomplished great things that still inspire us today. And the same is true for you. Don't be your own worst enemy by doubting yourself or your dreams. Instead, listen to the voice of God and obey His commands. When you do, you'll see that your dreams will begin to take shape and come to life. But don't stop there. Keep going after your goals, even when it feels like the odds are against you. Remember, all things are possible for those who believe. So keep the faith, stay determined, and keep pushing forward. Your greatness is waiting for you!

As we contemplate the end of the world, many scientists and psychics make predictions on when Earth will cease to exist. But what does this really mean in a spiritual sense? To give up on the world completely is to embrace a life dedicated to God, free from sin. It requires turning away from past lives of deceit, drugs, robbery, conflict, and other negative behaviors. You cannot live both a worldly life and one with God - to be with Jesus, you must give up the former completely. Remember, the world ends only when you decide it does, and the rewards for choosing a life with God begin.

Depression has a way of seeping into every aspect of life, sucking the joy out of even the smallest things. It's like a never-ending storm cloud hovering above, constantly threatening to break and flood your world with sadness and hopelessness. Depression has been an unwelcome visitor to humanity since the very beginning. From the depths of despair, it can be difficult to imagine finding a way out. But it is possible. We need only look to the stories in the Bible of those who came before us for proof. One such story is that of Hannah, a woman who longed for a child and found herself in the grips of depression when she could not conceive. Her anguish is palpable in the pages of the bible, as she cries out to God in desperation. Yet even in her darkest moments, she clung to her faith. For anyone struggling with depression, Hannah's story is a powerful reminder that there is hope. We may feel trapped in our despair, but we are not alone. God is with us, and with His help, we can overcome even the most daunting obstacles. Do you believe that you can be set free in just three minutes? It may sound too good to be true, but it is possible. In that short span of time, you can open your heart to God and feel the weight of your burdens begin to lift. It won't be easy, but it is worth it. So if you are struggling with depression, don't give up hope. You are not alone, and there is a way out. Through faith, prayer, and the power of God, you can overcome even the darkest of days. Take heart from the stories of those who came before us, and trust in the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

The world can be a dark and tumultuous place, full of anger, fear, and heartbreak. Every day we are bombarded with images of violence, destruction, and intolerance. It can feel like true peace is something that exists only in fairy tales, an unattainable dream that we can only wish for but never truly experience. But in the midst of all this chaos and uncertainty, there is one source of true peace that is available to each and every one of us. It doesn't come from what we typically associate with happiness and contentment - money, status, relationships, possessions. No, true peace comes from a higher power - God. For many people, the idea of finding peace in God might seem difficult to grasp. After all, if there is a God, why is there so much suffering in the world? Why do bad things happen to good people? But the reality is that our human perspectives and experiences limit our understanding of God and the way he works. We may not be able to fully comprehend the reasons behind every tragedy and injustice, but we can find solace in the fact that there is a greater purpose to it all and that God is always working to bring about good, even in the midst of the worst circumstances. One of the biggest obstacles to finding peace is the consequences of the choices we make. Often, we know deep down when we're making a mistake, but we convince ourselves that the short-term pleasure or gain is worth it. And then we find ourselves facing the fallout - the broken relationships, the lost opportunities, the guilt and shame. But if we can learn to listen to our inner voice and trust in the guidance of God, we can avoid these pitfalls and experience a deeper, more lasting peace. Ultimately, true peace comes down to one simple principle - we reap what we sow. If we put goodness, kindness, and compassion into the world, we will receive those things in return. If we act out of selfishness, anger, and hate, we will experience those things in our lives as well. But by turning to God as our source of strength, wisdom, and guidance, we can find a path that leads to a life of true peace, both for ourselves and for those around us.

In this life, we are all given one precious gift, a gift that can never be taken away or duplicated. It is the gift of our soul, a piece of ourselves that is so intimately connected to our being that it cannot be replaced. Yet, it is all too easy to overlook this gift, to take it for granted and assume that it will always be with us, no matter how we live our lives. But the truth is, our soul is a fragile thing, easily damaged and wounded by the hardships and temptations of this world. And if we are not careful, if we do not tend to our faith with the utmost care and devotion, we can lose it forever. This is why we must cherish every part of our lives, but especially our faith. For it is through our faith that we find the strength to persevere, the hope to carry on, and the love to sustain us through the darkest of times. When we keep the word of God close to our hearts, we are filled with a sense of purpose and direction, knowing that we are following in the footsteps of a higher power, a force that is greater than ourselves. But most importantly, when we give our all to God, He gives us so much more in return. He grants us the gift of salvation, the promise that our soul will be saved and protected for all eternity. And while death may come for us all eventually, it is not death that we should fear. It is where we will end up, whether we will be granted eternal life in the loving embrace of our Creator or whether we will be lost forever in the void of eternal damnation. So cherish your life, dear friend, and cherish your faith above all else. For when you keep the word of God close to your heart and give your all to Him, you will be rewarded with the greatest gift of all, the salvation of your soul.

As human beings, we all have our own set of flaws and weaknesses. Even the most successful people you see out there are prone to some kind of weakness. But it's not just about having these weaknesses, it's about how you deal with them that truly defines you as a person. Let's start by taking a closer look at some common weaknesses that people have. One of the most common weaknesses is fear. Fear can hold you back from taking risks and seizing opportunities. It can keep you in your comfort zone and prevent you from achieving your goals. The key to overcoming fear is to face it head-on and take small steps toward your goal, no matter how scared you feel. Another common weakness is procrastination. This can be a big obstacle to productivity and progress. The best way to overcome procrastination is to break down your tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces and set deadlines for yourself. Hold yourself accountable and stick to your schedule. Remember that progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Jealousy is also a common weakness. We often compare ourselves to others and feel envious of their achievements or possessions. But the truth is, everyone's journey is unique and we all have our own paths to follow. Instead of focusing on what others have, focus on your own strengths and how you can improve yourself. Lastly, let's talk about anger. We all get angry from time to time, but it's important to recognize when our anger is becoming destructive and learn to control it. Take deep breaths and count to 10 before reacting to a situation. Practice empathy and try to see things from the other person's perspective. In conclusion, it's okay to have weaknesses. But what truly matters is how you deal with them. Face your fears, overcome procrastination, don't let jealousy control you, and learn to control your anger. What's in your heart truly defines your character, so make sure it's filled with positivity and growth.

The constant battle between the mind and the heart is a common struggle that most individuals face. The mind and the heart are two powerful parts of our body that often pull us in opposite directions. Sometimes, the mind knows what is best for us, while the heart desires something completely different.
It is up to us to decide which one to listen to. The heart might be telling us to make impulsive decisions based on emotions, while the mind might be telling us to take a more logical approach. It is important to find a balance between the two and make a decision that is in our best interest.
God created both the mind and the heart for us to use in the right way. However, many individuals in society tend to misuse these parts and face the consequences. It is important to seek guidance from God and make decisions based on faith.
Through the live story with Johnny, you will discover the importance of faith in decision-making and which one to listen to - your heart or your mind. Remember, the decision you make can either benefit or destroy you, so choose wisely.

"Testing God" is a phrase that is often used in the context of challenging God's power or authority. It is not advisable to test God in this way as it can lead to negative consequences. However, there is a way to test the truth of God's word and see it come alive in our lives. The Bible instructs us to "taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8). This means that we are encouraged to try God's promises for ourselves and see if they are true.
If someone has yet to see the Bible become alive in their life, they can start by reading and studying it, and then applying its principles to their daily life. They can also pray and ask God to reveal Himself to them and help them understand His word. As they begin to put their faith into action, they will start to see the transformation taking place in their lives.
God has used and instructed many prophets in the past to share His message with the world. In the same way, He wants to use each of us today to share His love and truth with others. By trusting in God's word and allowing His power to work in our lives, we can become a living testimony of His grace and mercy.

In order to become a new person, taking steps of faith is necessary. Trying to change and overcome pain and problems alone usually leads to failure. Although many have attempted to find solutions through external changes, inner turmoil remains present. Acknowledge the presence of negative forces and turn to Jesus for guidance because He can lead to purification and renewal. It is important to remember that suffering in silence is not the answer, as God is present to provide aid and rescue.

It's important to ignore the negative voices that try to hold you back and doubt your abilities. Often, we limit ourselves by giving in to these thoughts rather than believing in ourselves and trusting in God's plan for us. By seeing ourselves through His eyes, we can unlock our full potential and become the amazing person He created us to be. It's crucial to not give up and to push past the doubts, just like Gideon and his 300 followers did. They were chosen because they had faith in themselves, and the same can be true for us.

To progress in life, we can't simply accept our problems and suffering. Overcoming obstacles requires faith and bravery. Staying in our comfort zones won't lead to growth or success. Understanding how your mindset can impact your life and faith. Do you ever feel stuck or struggle to overcome obstacles in your life? Oftentimes, this can be attributed to your personal mindset. In the Bible, the story of Gideon illustrates this point – he not only faced external challenges but also an internal battle where he believed he was weak and incapable. However, God had faith in him. Due to Gideon's lack of trust, he and his people remained trapped in a cave for seven years. Changing your perspective and way of thinking can make all the difference. Your mindset determines the outcome of your life. Once you change your perspective, the Spirit of God can do extraordinary things in your life. Above all, you will have peace and a sense of God's presence within you.

Change Doesn't Happen Overnight. Life can be challenging, and sometimes it feels like everything is falling apart. But when you have faith in God, everything becomes possible. The power of God is unending, and He can make things happen beyond your imagination. Sometimes, we don't realize that we are standing in our own way, stopping ourselves from reaching our full potential. But once we decide to give our lives to God, things start to change. This is something that Raynard had to learn on his journey of faith. God works in mysterious ways, and we may not see the results immediately, but we're in for a surprise when it comes. Change doesn't happen overnight. It's a process that requires patience and persistence. When we make changes, it can be hard to expect because we're not used to having so much goodness in our lives. We've become so used to the pain and heartache that we don't expect things to go well. But with God, everything is possible. When we put our trust in God, He makes things happen. It's like the Bible says, "With God, all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). We have to believe that change is possible, even when it seems impossible. God has a way of making the impossible possible. Change is scary because it means leaving our comfort zones. We don't like to be uncomfortable, but sometimes we have to go through the discomfort to achieve greatness. Change requires courage and a willingness to take risks. When we have faith in God, we know that we are not alone, and He will be with us every step of the way. In conclusion, change doesn't happen overnight. But with faith in God, all things are possible. Even when change comes, it can be hard to expect, because we're not used to having so much goodness in our lives. But with God, we can overcome anything and everything that comes our way. We need to trust and believe everything will work out for our good. Through part three of Raynard's story, you will learn just this.

The mind is a powerful tool. It can either create or destroy. It can either lift you up or drag you down. The problem is that many people allow their minds to be controlled by negative thoughts and emotions, resulting in a prison of their own making. Raynard was one such person. As a young man, Raynard had a troubled childhood. He grew up in poverty, surrounded by crime and violence. He saw firsthand the worst of humanity and began to internalize those experiences. He carried the weight of his traumas on his shoulders and let it consume him. His mind was his own worst enemy. It wasn't until he hit rock bottom that he realized the error of his ways. He had lost everything - his family, his friends, his freedom. It was only then that he realized the importance of freeing his mind. He began to listen to God's voice, practice mindfulness, and change the way he thought. And slowly but surely, his life began to change. The transformation was not immediate, nor was it easy. There were moments of doubt and fear. There were times when he felt like giving up. But he persevered and began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, Raynard is a different person. He exudes positivity and radiates happiness from the Living God. He has let go of his past and embraced his present. He knows that real change starts in the mind and he has taken that lesson to heart. He is free. And so can you. Remember, your mind is a powerful tool. It can either create or destroy. It can either lift you up or drag you down. The choice is yours. Choose freedom. Choose Faith. Choose God. The opportunity is yours for the taking.

The truth is, change is hard. It's never easy to let go of what you're used to and take on something new. It's especially hard when it comes to changing ourselves. We're so attached to who we are and what we know, that it can be difficult to even consider being someone else. But the reality is, if we want to truly grow and develop, we have to embrace change. Change isn't just about how we look on the outside. It's about how we are on the inside. True change is when we are willing to give up the parts of ourselves that aren't working and replace them with better, more effective parts. This takes work, dedication, and a willingness to take risks. But don't worry. You're not alone. In fact, with faith in Jesus, you have a powerful ally on your side. Conversion isn't just about making a decision to change. It's about making that decision and then putting it into practice, with God's help. God is always here to support and guide us on our journey toward change. With His love and grace, we can let go of the parts of ourselves that aren't serving us and replace them with the person we want to become. So if you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, know that there is always hope. With faith, dedication, and the support of God, you can change. You can be the best version of yourself, and live the life you've always dreamed of. All you have to do is take that first step.

Flaws and mistakes, those two words echoed through an endless loop. How could I have made such a huge mistake? The thought that consumes many like a raging fire and the shame it brought can be suffocating. But, until you allow it to define you, the real damage is done. We all have a past, one filled with regrets and bad decisions. And as much as we'd like to forget them, they always find a way to haunt us. But, what if our mistakes were just opportunities in disguise? What if instead of wallowing in self-pity, we used them as stepping stones towards a better future? That's what God intended when He allowed us to make mistakes. He wanted us to depend on him, to seek His guidance and forgiveness. It's through these battles that we find the strength to rise again, to be better, to do better. Remember the story of the adulterous woman? The one who was going to be stoned for her sins, until Jesus came and forgave her? It's a powerful message that even the most shameful mistakes can be forgiven. So, we encourage you to make a decision. Decide to stop letting mistakes define you. Instead, turn to God and ask for forgiveness. And through His love and grace, we find the strength to change our life. To become a new person, one who wasn't held captive by the past but empowered by the future. Yes, mistakes will always be a part of our lives, but it's how we choose to deal with them that truly defines us. Don't let them break you, use them as a catalyst for change. And in the end, you might just be surprised at the person you become.

The heart is a powerful thing, a complex entity. It's a vessel that carries both our good and our bad. And what we carry in our hearts eventually comes to the surface, much like a woman's womb reveals a baby after 9 months. If we harbor negativity, envy, greed, or other evils, they are bound to manifest at some point. It can harbor love, hope, and kindness, or it can hold onto darkness, anger, and hate. Just like a mother's womb, your heart is constantly growing and evolving. But be warned, whatever you keep in your heart will reveal itself. If you choose to keep negative emotions like jealousy or resentment, they will grow and fester, just like a cancer. And soon enough, those emotions will give birth to something you might regret. But fear not, for there is a way to protect your heart from such negativity. The first step is to work on your weaknesses. Just as a woman must take care of her womb during pregnancy, we too must tend to our hearts and work on our weaknesses. It's essential to understand that our heart is the birthplace of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Whatever we say or do stems from our heart.Look at the areas in your heart that need healing and seek guidance to overcome them. Learn to take care of your heart, and you'll start to see your character and behavior reflect that. It's essential to defend yourself from the attacks of negativity, and the only way to do that is through the Word of God. The Word provides wisdom and guidance that can protect your heart from the negative influences of this world. So ask yourself, where have you been weak? Are you holding onto something that needs to be released? Let go of those negative emotions, and fill your heart with love and light. When you do this, your heart will start to reveal the beauty that lies within.

Forgiveness is often the toughest thing for humans to do. Our egos want to cling to grudges and resentment, thinking that this will protect us. However, it's not until we realize that we're only hurting ourselves that we're able to truly let go and forgive. When we hold onto grudges, we're actually holding ourselves back from a happy and fulfilled life. We're consumed by negative thoughts and feelings that prevent us from moving forward. We become stagnant and stuck, unable to grow and develop into the person we truly want to be.On the other hand, forgiveness offers us a new lease on life. It's not about condoning what someone did, but it's about setting ourselves free from the hurt and pain that we've been carrying around for too long. When we choose to forgive, we allow ourselves to release the past and open ourselves up to a brighter future.Jesus taught us to forgive, not just others, but also ourselves. This is a powerful lesson that many of us struggle with. We're quick to judge and criticize ourselves, thinking that this will help us become better. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. When we forgive ourselves, we're able to see our own humanity. We realize that we're not perfect, and that's okay. We learn to love ourselves and all our flaws, and this allows us to become more compassionate toward others. In conclusion, forgiveness is not only important for our mental and emotional health, but it's also necessary for our spiritual growth. It's time to let go of the past and embrace a future full of love, joy, and happiness. Remember, when we forgive, we're setting ourselves free indeed.

Life is full of choices, and sometimes it's hard to discern which ones to make. The opportunity comes knocking, and we stand there contemplating, weighing the pros and cons. Some may take the chance, and others may throw it away, but we must choose wisely. Opportunities and chances are the greatest gifts that life bestows upon us. They can come in various forms, and we have the power to choose what we do with them. We can cherish his blessings or discard them with ease. This lesson has been passed down through the ages, most notably in the story of Jacob and Esau. They were brothers, but their attitudes toward God were entirely different. Jacob cherished the birthright, which represented God's word, but Esau threw it away like it was worthless. God honored Jacob's faith and love toward him but hated Esau for his carelessness. It's crucial to value the things that are dear to God's heart, like the Bible, worship, and serving Him. We should cherish every blessing we receive and honor God in everything we do. For those who don't care about the things of God, they are like Esau, who gave up his birthright for a pot of stew. God favored Jacob for his dedication to the birthright and his devotion to God. Esau's blindness to the importance of the birthright angered God, who hated Esau for his rejection of the gift. This illustrates that God honors those who honor him and despises those who hate him. Many have been like Esau. They receive God's blessings but choose to reject them in pursuit of what we think is a better option. In doing so, we miss the true value of what God is offering us. It is vital that we cherish the blessings that God bestows upon us and honor Him by recognizing the worth of His gifts. Let's learn from the story of Jacob and Esau and value God's word above all things. Let's not despise the opportunities God gives us but rather grab them with both hands and use them for His glory. In conclusion, we must choose our values carefully and honor God by valuing His blessings. By doing so, we can avoid the fate of Esau and ensure that God's love for us.

As you sit and reflect on your family, you can't help but acknowledge the many differences that have caused so much turmoil. There have been days when you all could barely look at each other, let alone hold a conversation. Arguments and disagreements have been your constant companions. But it doesn't have to be this way. So many families are destroyed because they lack a foundation of faith. In the absence of faith, we are easily overtaken by our egos and personal opinions. It's only natural that we have differing opinions. We are different people with unique experiences and perspectives. But if we place our faith in God, we can learn to see each other in a new light. We can find ways to love and support one another despite our differences. And that love can be transformative. It can change us and heal our broken relationships. The Bible tells the story of a miracle that Jesus performed at a wedding feast. He turned water into wine, a symbol of transformation and renewal. Just as He turned ordinary water into extraordinary wine, He can also transform our lives and our relationships. It won't be easy. There will be moments of doubt and uncertainty. But if we have faith and trust in God, He can bring salvation to our family. We can learn to forgive and reconcile. Life can be tough, that's no secret. But have you ever stopped to think about why? The reason behind it is simple: we have enemies. Enemies that try to take us down, physically or spiritually. But what if we told you that there's a way to come out even stronger after facing those enemies? You may have heard the saying, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." And we're here to tell you that it's true! Now, I'm not saying that you have to fight your enemies head-on, because that's not always the best solution. Arguing and conflict won't lead you to victory either. Instead, we need to take a different approach. We need to use the tools of faith that we have been given and the authority that God has given us to defeat our true enemy: the devil. You see, the devil is the unseen enemy that we face every day. And he wants nothing more than to take us down. But with God on our side, we have the power to defeat the devil. We have been given the authority to overcome him, no matter where he tries to attack us. And when we use our faith and our authority to defeat the devil, that's when we become stronger. We become more resilient, more determined, and more courageous. So the next time you're faced with an enemy, don't give up. Don't fight with words or physical force. Instead, remember that you have the power of faith and authority on your side. Use it to defeat the devil, and watch as you become stronger than you ever thought possible. Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

In a world where so many people feel powerless, words can be our most valuable tool. It's easy to underestimate their power, but a few well-chosen words can change the course of your life forever. They can inspire, motivate, and uplift, or they can drag you down, keep you stagnant, and rob you of your potential. The choice is yours. But it's not just about what you say, it's about what you do. You can dream and wish all day long, but until you take action, those dreams will remain just that. Dreams. You have the power to make your dreams a reality, but you have to be willing to put in the work. Success isn't just handed to you on a silver platter, it's earned through hard work, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of your goals. And while it's important to have faith in God and trust in his plan, it's equally important to take responsibility for your own life. Don't just sit around waiting for things to happen, go out there and make them happen. God is waiting for you to step up and take action so he can fulfill his promises in your life. Today on our episode, we're talking about a common confusion surrounding the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit isn't something we can see or a feeling that overwhelms us. It isn't a replacement for emotion, but rather, it is something that comes from the source of our Creator and encourages us to handle life in the way God would. It allows us to connect to Him and have a direct link to His purpose and plan for our lives. The Holy Spirit is a symbol of the peace and joy that come from aligning ourselves with God. It’s like having a part of Heaven inside of you - a peace that surpasses all understanding - as we keep our minds and hearts focused on Him. The Holy Spirit should serve as a reminder of who we are meant to be and represent Him, not just our feelings.God is not searching for perfect people; He’s searching for sincere hearts that are ready to embrace the love of Him. We all fall short, but God doesn't look down on us or write us off. If we can humble ourselves and come to Him as we are, He will embrace us. The Holy Spirit is His way of doing that, offering a gentle and comforting presence as we take steps toward Him.So don't let confusion or misunderstanding hold you back. Open yourself up to God, let the Holy Spirit guide you, and experience the embrace of Heaven.

This is a great reminder to focus on the present and the future, rather than dwelling on the past. It's important to appreciate what you have and have faith in moving forward. Forgiving yourself and evaluating your present can help you move towards a brighter future. Many people like to dwell on the past and stay stuck where they are at. Appreciate what you have and start looking to the future. Looking to the past will make you lose your opportunities and great blessings. Don't allow the past to take your present. Your future depends on the faith you have in God to move forward. Forgive yourself, evaluate your present, and move forward.

Life has a funny way of taking us on unexpected journeys, so don't get stuck in one place. Have the courage to take the path of the unknown and use your present experiences as a guide for the future. Look to the future and take ownership of your actions. Put faith in yourself and have the strength to trust that you are doing the right thing. Don't be bogged down by the mistakes of the past, and make sure to learn from them and appreciate the growth that comes from them. No one should let the past stop them from taking the leap into the future. Everyone deserves to move ahead with greater faith in their dreams. Though we cannot ignore our past, it should never keep us from exploring the potential that awaits in our future. The only way to move forward is to forgive yourself and understand that the past is meant to shape and define who we become in the future. By forgiving ourselves and making a conscious decision to be in the present moment, we can discover the possibilities that come from setting our minds toward our future. We have to have the courage to open up and accept our future as the culmination of our life's work and choose to let go of our former misfortunes and stay positive. Having faith in ourselves and in the plans that God has for our lives will guide us on a more fulfilling path, free of the burden of our past. A brighter future awaits, so let us look ahead, remain confident, and create something great out of the faith and determination we have.

We have all been there, the times of darkness and despair when we can't help but feel that God is far away and unresponsive to our plight. We know it to be untrue and we can try to talk ourselves into believing that God is with us, but it's often not easy. In these times, it can be hard to understand what faith really is and how we can learn to trust in the Word of God even when everything is seemingly falling apart. But we must remember that faith isn't about feelings, it is about using our reason and intelligence to recognize the Truth and act in accordance with that Truth. Throughout history, many have chosen to live their life in faith, trusting that the word of God was true. From Noah building the Ark to Moses leading the people of Israel out of Egypt, it has been clear that believing in something that is greater than oneself brings strength and direction in life. For those of us living today, the same can be true. God isn’t a physical being and that can be hard to fathom, but we have faith in His ability to be there with us during difficult moments. As long as we allow faith to be the guiding light on our paths, God can be there to comfort us in the most trying times.
God promises that those who love Him and keep His commandments will have life and joy, and we should strive to have faith that that is true. We may not feel the effects of His Word and Presence in our lives immediately, but if we choose to live and act according to the Word of God then we can be sure that we will soon start to see the differences that it brings. As believers, it's important to remember that faith is not just something to feel but to also take an intelligent approach to live the word of God. Even if our faith is small and insignificant, we can choose to stand on His Word, knowing that He is greater than anything we can possibly understand or comprehend. We can trust in the faith that God has put in our hearts and use our reason and intelligence to discern what is truth and what isn’t, which is the only way we can ensure that our faith leads us to joy, peace, and a more meaningful life.

Everyone has different experiences in life that are not always pleasant. We all experience trauma, temptations, and injustices, yet often find ourselves struggling to find the freedom we long for. We seek solace in different vices to escape our situation, be it drugs, alcohol, partying, or anything else, only to realize we have become slaves to those vices, unable to escape from the shackles of our despair.
However, there is hope for us. As our episode opens, we introduce the understanding, God provides a way out, a way to gain freedom. He offers a new path and with it, a chance to rebuild our lives in peace and freedom. God knows that no one can save us but Himself and through faith in Him, we can truly break away from all that holds us captive. He can and will redeem us if we allow Him to.
All it takes is faith. Faith in a power bigger than us. We must surrender our hopes and our dreams to God and let Him bring us greater freedom and joy. We must come to terms with the fact that the world has temptations, yet it also has God. His love and His strength will provide a way out from whatever binds us, so trust in Him, because it is only with Him we can be free.

Though many people are dealing with pain and difficulty, we often forget that these hard times are here to teach us lessons and shape us for the better.
Today, we'll tell the story of two individuals: one who remained stuck in their circumstances, and one who was able to transform themselves through the power of faith.
Our first individual was one of the saddest, most despair-filled cases we've encountered. This person had experienced heart-wrenching traumas that left them isolated and depressed. Despite many attempts to heal and be free, it seemed like nothing was working for them.
Our second individual's story was far more up-lifting. Though this person was facing very similar challenges and struggles, they found faith in God, believing that the right path was one of trust and possibilities. This person's story was one of resilience that enabled them to transform and find the happiness they had been longing for.
We all can benefit from taking a leaf out of our second individual's book and finding faith in God. Though the path may be difficult, it will also bring immense rewards in the end. Through perseverance and believing that the answer lies beyond ourselves, we too can learn to be content and transform our suffering into a testimony.
It can be hard to face our troubles, but don't lose hope - there's a path forward that you can find and the podcast Soul Food is here to help.
