Today we're sharing our fears: Specifically the fear of missing out.
We're identifying one of our bad habits: spending money we don't have because we're afraid of not being part of something cool. We're confessing our regrets for things we bought and the things we bought though we couldn't REALLY afford them because they seemed so cool and important at the time. But it's not just about not buying STUFF but planning our future so we have money to spend on times and people that actually mean MORE to us.
Trying to get our feet on a less turbulent financial track isn't easy but this was a necessary step to keeping our next dollar as we learn to save and not spend.

Before we can move forward to better habits, we need to untangle our complicated past and mentalities toward money.
We're reflecting back on our family histories AND our own mistakes that have led us to be super broke.
From putting plane rides and Disney World trips on credit cards, in this confession session, we own up to advice we didn't take, the advice we didn't want, things we paid for when we were desperate but shouldn't have to add up to all this debt we're dealing with now.
But we're ready to stop the negative narratives we've been telling ourselves to turn this all around.
