college, one of the most tranquil parts of a person’s life…said no one ever. luckily, you found this one stop shop for all things college, specifically wake forest university! my name is chase clark and i am a black woman attending wake forest university here to guide you through the process. i figure between the both of us…someone is bound to have the answers..right?
For any important journey, grounding serves as a necessary break to ensure that each participant is starting on similar ground. Before we move forward, we need to take a reflective look at the conversations we have had thus far and update our thoughts on those things.

what does it mean to be grown nowadays? college is notably a time for transition between teenage life to adulthood, but when you feel stuck somewhere in the middle what do we do? join me on this episode as I think about some of the questions surrounding the experience of being grown.

growing up, I grew very familiar with the word "persevere", but i never felt connected to it. being someone who perseveres in the face of challenge always sounded good, but was much more difficult to put into practice. it took coming to college to realize what true perseverance looks like and one example of this is Amarah Owens.
join us as we discuss how to persevere in the face of challenge, grow faith in the most unlikely of places, and maintain faith in a very spiritually strenuous atmosphere.

while being black at a PWI is difficult, i wouldn't change my decision for anything
this week we disses my experience being a black girl at a private, PWI-the good, the bad, the ugly, and the just plain annoying.
semester 2 is back and in full effect. i am excited to be back, especially with some updated goals and plans of action. now, to actually complete it...
