Believing My I Am or The I AM
Episode #859
06/03/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Leaving wounding shame by embracing the truth of who you really are.
Hey there, so today I want to talk about shame as the I am statement. I realize that shame basically makes I am statements that affirm and confirm that we are worthless and contemptible. And that is not who we are at all! We are not worthless. We are not contemptible, anything but. But statement like: I am disgusting, I am worthless, I am stupid, I am ugly, I am of no value, I am flawed. All these are statements that come against us and come against something even greater. My negative toxic shame “I am” statements come against, truly, my great I AM, and what He thinks about me, because He never gives me the… I am disgusting, I am worthless, I am flawed, I am stupid, I am ugly, I am of no value. Actually, His Word tells me everything, but that. His Word comes completely against those shame-filled toxic statements, negative statements that destroy our value in our self, our self-worth, our joy, our excitement. And that’s what we had to come against. is literally all the statements that speak “I am” that is against our great I AM and what He says about us.
I have experienced in my life, countless people that have had to stand in the gap against me. Against my beliefs, against my false faith, against my shame. They’ve had to stand against, and they have said NO, that is not who you are. But the fact is that it is not an easy come against. We are very committed to our negative shame statements. We’ve had evidence that is proved it, usually over and over and over in our life. And we’ve compounded those shameful thoughts, the toxic shame, thoughts that have solidified and cemented us in shame, and we can’t get free. What the Lord does is He’ll send someone or multiple someone’s into our life to basically stand against say, “Stop, that is not who you are!” It’s one thing to spit scripture at us and say, “Well, this is what the Word says.” That’s great, that’s fine but it’s a totally different deal when the Holy Spirit will come and speak very specifically against our shame. He is definitely committed to destroy those shame field thoughts and those shame-filled feelings and shame-filled beliefs. He wants to crush them.
So in my life right now, what I’m doing is I’m standing in the gap. I’m coming against, through coaching, men’s negative beliefs, shame-filled, toxic shame thoughts that are coming against their design. Their God-given, spiritual DNA and design that God has created them to live in. We have a divine design, and we are designed by the divine. And those thoughts come counter to what He says. Who He is and what He wants to do in our life and it prevents us from actually experiencing truth, reality and and love. Love is one of the things that we can’t, in shame, we can’t except love. We can’t receive love. We push away from love; we leave love because it’s unbelievable. It’s something that is against the very thing that we’re believing. And we unfortunately, usually will hold fast to those beliefs, and we will maintain them as truth. It’s not the truth. It’s absolutely not the truth, but sometimes someone has to stand in the gap for us. Someone has to come in and speak against those wrong shame-filled thoughts, erroneous thoughts, these thoughts that rise themselves above the Most High. Scripture says stand against those thoughts that rise up and exalt themselves against the Most High. These thoughts, it doesn’t only have to be about Him and what we believe about Him, sometimes it’s about the erroneous thoughts that we believe about ourselves. Those evil thoughts that go against His knowledge OF US.
I’m excited about that. I’m excited that not only am I able to receive that ministry in my life, as I have for years, but I’m able to give that ministry to others, and walk with them and stand against the the tragic wave of destruction coming from toxic shame. So I thank you for listening. I would love your prayers as I am doing this because it’s a Holy Spirit move, and it’s a Holy Spirit lead empowered endeavor because you have to do with curiosity, with kindness. You can just go in and bash it and beat it. The shame has bashed and beat us for years. So we can stand in curiosity and in compassion for a story that has buried men underneath sham-filled beliefs. I love you appreciate you and I’ll talk to you real soon.

Dreams Versus Fantasy Discussion
Episode #858

Walk and talk with John Enslow
From Fantasies to Dreams: Embrace the Vision, Experience the Life!
Well hey there, so I have been receiving some feedback from a number of my posts and podcasts and I was really excited about the one guy wrote me some feedback and he was really excited about the podcast and posts that I did about dreams and fantasy and what the difference is. He wrote, “I just listen to the difference between fantasy and dreams. Wow, that one really gets me dude! I guess I always thought that my dreams were too big for what God had for me, so I settled for fantasy.” Connecting that with my shame posts and my shame podcasts…that’s shame. That shame literally speaking shame to that man. I asked him if I could share this and he said absolutely. And I was really pleased because I feel that such a huge distinction whether we were in the shame of our fantasies or whether were in the life of our dreams.
You know fantasies always isolate and separate. Where dreams teem with hope and life. Dreams carry us. Without a vision the people perish. Dreams carry us, vision and dreams carry us. While fantasy drags us down and bogs us down into hopelessness that any fulfillment will ever be had other than in our thinking. Think about that. So our fantasies literally push us back and hold us back from actually experiencing life and leaves us in an isolated thought chamber of nothingness and hopelessness, hoping to achieve with our fantasies something that could be meaningful all the while being meaningless. I hate it! I hate that our fantasies withdraws us from the actual experience of life.
I don’t know if you’ve read the posts or if you’ve seen the past podcast, I invite you to go do it. The difference is so immense and so crazy because it is a stark difference. And I never want to relegate my life to fantasy while I can be entering into dreams and hope and life and I can experience Him in those. Our dreams are usually connected to our God image, the God that dwells within us, the exchange life.
Our dreams have vision of the Kingdom and hope. It doesn’t even have to be religious or spiritual, because that’s not all that I am. I also am a triune being with a body, and a soul. I am I have to have my emotions touched and my body touched and my physicality touched. And God created me that way to have my spirit and my body and my soul all united towards a Kingdom purpose, but it doesn’t have to necessarily be a spiritual purpose. It can be a life purpose. It can be a connected purpose. Christ, amazingly, Christ wasn’t always about spiritual things. He was about things that were very, very connected to the earth. All His parables were connected to the earth, because He was trying to get our body and our soul in line with our spirit, so that we would be Kingdom people. And that’s what happens when we enter those dreams.
Even if it’s dreams for our family, we experience them by entering into them, and focusing on them, and allowing them to take over and to become our reality. Become our life, give us the direction that we’re looking for. Where fantasy, it just boils us down to a soulish desire. And maybe that’s another distinction?! Maybe dreams emanate from the spirit and from the spirit life, where fantasy is literally just soulish to focus on the body. Maybe that’s the little distinction is the direction of where it is. The soul is obviously the choice but fantasy is always going towards body, body, body, body, body. Make my body feel good! Where my dreams are spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, benefit of my spiritual life, and of my life in general. I think that beautiful! I think this beautiful, literally your soul is the decision-maker of where that’s going to be and you get to choose and when you engage your dreams, you can unite them with God and allow Him to direct your dreams. That’s gorgeous!
Oh my gosh, it’s absolutely beautiful. He’s the Director of my dreams, He gives me the life, He gives me the purpose, He gives me the vision, and then I am able to experience it with Him and experience His life in my life. Where fantasy…it’s just death. It’s just isolating me into nothingness and temporal. There’s another difference. Dreams are eternal, even if they’re temporally expressed an experience, but fantasy is very temporal, very immediate, very selfish, very end of the road. The end goal of fantasy is a fleshly fulfillment and that’s just tragic.
So thank you to this friend for sending me this. I love the responses. I love how I can see people get connected with the content and thank you for that. And I love you guys, I appreciate you and thank you for being a part of what God expressing and doing here.

Walk and talk with John Enslow
Overcoming shame to experience freedom from shame’s devastation and isolation.
Hey there, I wanted to talk about shame again. I’m really on that, as I’m writing this book, I’m just fascinated with the subject because I’m seeing the power to destroy shame which is outstanding. It’s beautiful! I’m also working on a book on the Will of God. That one is done. I have a final read through and then I’m gonna be trying to get that one out. It’s called His Will Alone and it’s about how to know the Will of God and live in its many benefits. So I’m looking forward to that one coming out and being available. As I’ve read through it in the last two days, I’ve just been like: OK, this is really good! This is giving a good picture of how to enter into the Will of God. That one will be coming out, actually before the shame one.
I’m still collecting the stories from shame and the testimony of shame, overcoming shame, overcomed shame, as well as shames that are looking to be overcome. So that’s gonna be a really amazing thing. Today I want to hear that shame makes us deaf, as well as mute. You might say how could it make you deaf and mute? Well shame leaves us trapped in a shame filled echo chamber in fear that we will be found out and disconnected. As I’ve said a number of times shame’s isolating, shame literally separates us and makes us feel less then and we are afraid of being found out.
Whatever the shame is, we’re shamed of it, and afraid to expose it to anyone, and we hold dear to self protect us. But what I’ve learned is having curiosity and compassion for our self and shame will help give way to discovering the path to wholeness. And I want to see wholeness. I have experienced great shame in my life, debilitating shame my life and shame that I literally could not overcome. And then the Lord has done a work to crush that shame, and kill that shame, and I have been enriched because of it. I have been impacted so deeply as I have literally come out of the prison of shame in certain areas and walked free. I’m loving it, it’s night and day different.
I’m not saying I totally overcome shame, that I have no shame in my life because I think shame is inherently human. Shame is what we in the human condition our fallen human condition, we deal with shame. We deal with the shame of our nakedness, we deal with the shame of our exposure, we deal with the shame of our sin, we deal with the shame of our circumstances. We just deal with shame on a regular basis. And I think that the Lord is really desiring to crush that because ultimately not only does it separate me from me, me from others, but it separates me from God. Nothing can separate me from the love of God, but I can live separated in my thinking. I can live separated in shame, fearful, just like Adam and Eve did.
Adam and Eve left the tree and they were ashamed, and they were separated from God. In reality? No, but in their concept, absolutely! They had to put on clothes, they had to put on fog leaves to prevent themselves from being seen. They were isolated in the clothing of their own making. And they were deaf and they were mute until God said, “Who told you, you were naked?
So I really want this to be powerful. I’m asking you for your prayers because I really really want this to be powerful. I want this to have the impact to hit it, and it may not knock down all the shame but if you can literally give a reverberation of freedom and wholeness. The possibility even…I’m excited. I’m really excited! So thank you for listening. Thank you for following and I love you guys. I appreciate your prayers. I appreciate your input. I appreciate your connection. I’ve had a number of guys reach out and basically tell me what this is meaning them and telling me that they have a shame story that they want to tell. I love it. I absolutely love it! So thank you and I’ll talk to you again soon.

Shattering Shame: Embracing Freedom and Reclaiming Our True Selves!
Hey guys, I just wanna reach out today and let you know that I’ve been in some training recently and the training was absolutely phenomenal. It was some of the best I’ve ever had and I really came away from there seeing so much of the necessity for just the connection that we can offer and the deep meaning that we give when we are connected, when we’re attuned to, when we’re listen to and when we can come to a place of wholeness and healing.
As a coach I’m looking to attune to guys. I’m looking to be there and to be connected and involved, but I’m not looking to teach or tell. I’m looking to basically bring out what is there, connect with a divine design, connect with the spiritual DNA.
One of the things that they were talking about is betrayal trauma and shame. And what I’m learning is that we can learn from our shame and grow. Shame is not a death sentence. It’s an opportunity and invitation to experience freedom. Shame is like a landmark. If we see it as an opportunity for directional change, we benefit and thrive. We literally can thrive in the presence of shame, when we use it as a signpost, a directional signpost to leave the shame and enter into wholeness and healing. But if we see it as a headstone, if we use it as a grave marker, we remain dead in the assessment of shame, and I never want that to be the case. I never wanna die in my shame. I never want to allow shame to take over so fully that I literally have it as a headstone and it’s the end of my life. That shame kills that life and kills my experience of life and my adventure of life, because I’ve gone from experiencing the shame to letting the shame be cemented and established and fortified and supported.
But if I can sit there and I can say OK, this shame is telling me this, but I don’t want that in my life, I can choose to leave that shame, I can choose to make a directional switch and change and move towards no shame. I can leave the shame and leave it in the past and let it just be a marker and learn from the shame. So shame is going to come.
Shame is human. Shame is since the fall it’s our story… shameful stories. But we can learn from those stories and we can move forward. We can go to the distance in those shames if we allow them to be a marker to say, I need to change, I want to change, I have the power to change and I can connect with Christ who is my change.
So I just wanted to say that because I am super encouraged as I’m writing this book on shame and I’m so I’m getting these shame stories, I’m so excited to see how how men have come out of their shame. How they’ve overcome their shame. Shames that are debilitating, shames that literally could take them under and destroy their creativity, destroy their capability and destroy their ability to truly be who they were created to be. They are overcoming those shames. I’ve got other guys who are in the process of doing that. They’re crushing the shame, but they still have that shame as the signpost. It still in their view and they are leaving it but it’s still in their view. And then I have other guys that just have come up on the sign and they’re saying “OK, How do I read the sign and get the directions away from the shame?”
So, I love you, I appreciate you, thank you for listening, and I look forward to continuing this dialogue about shame, and about how we overcome shame, and the victory that we can have over shame, as we literally use it as a learning tool, rather than a death assignment on our lives. I love you!
Shame, Signpost or Headstone – Episode #856 – DivineDesigned.LifeShame is either a signpost or headstone. Shame is a directional marker or gravestone, receive it’s assessment or use it to learn from.

Shame, Shame, Overcoming Shame
Episode #855

Walk and talk with John Enslow
Weakness can be a source of shame, but as we enter overcoming shame we can access the strength and power from God.
Well hey guys? I am now back home after doing the writing trip about the overcoming shame book. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to but I’m real excited about what I did get it done. I have sent a request out to a number of guys asking for testimonies of shame, overcoming shame, shame that is overcome and shame that’s current. And I’m asking for testimonies. I really want to show the reality and the depths of shame and what it looks like. I want to paint a picture of shame, and give people the ability to see shame in others. I found that often when we see the shames in others lives it normalize our own, and we realize that it may not be true. So that to me is an amazing thing.
I was involved in a group setting where we went and did an affirmation circle. In the affirmation circle each man stood up and was talking about their own personal likes and dislikes about themselves. They’re talking about their own shame. They were talking about things that shamed them about themselves, about their making, about their person, about their character, about their life situation, about all kinds of shame. And then they had men stand up before them, and they had those men speak their own truth about that man. It was one of the most touching, amazing encounters I’ve ever had. There was a bunch of tears and the residual of it was pretty amazing. The residual of this was that these guys literally were able to say, “This man thinks this about himself, that is so not true and here’s the real truth that I see. Here’s the data that I have.” And it really blew the guys away. They were like able to say, “I never would’ve thought that you would’ve thought that.”
So in this book, I am wanting to pepper it all with shame stories, testimonies of shame, overcoming shame, overcomed shame, and shame that is current. And I am writing stories about shame from my own life. I am enjoying just diving in. I’m being very raw, very real, very honest with it, but I’m enjoying the process of bringing it out. There is an amazing healing nature to bring shame into the light and to bring our shames before others to bring healing and wholeness. Obviously you have to do it in a scenario and situation that is safe and that you’re being honored and attuned to and that the people are for you. I wouldn’t want to do it just with any group. I would want to do it with a trusted group of men or women, whatever, that I trusted to bring that shame out with. So one of the shames I’m talking about is the shame of our weakness.
I have written on the blog several times about the fact that as a child, I was unwilling to sing this song Jesus loves me in it’s entirety. How I was sing it is Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to Him belong, hmmhmmhmm but He is strong. Yes, Jesus love me. Yes Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus love me. The Bible tells me so. I would not sing, “They are weak!” I would not do it. I absolutely refused because I didn’t want to be weak. Weakness makes us dependent. But here is the amazing thing about weakness, weakness also gives us access to His strength. It’s the only thing that gives us access to His strength. We see that in Paul’s life where Paul said, he boast in his weakness. And while our shame, as men as women, can be around our weakness, men especially their inability, their lack of prowess, their lack of character. All these things are shaming things and they’re weaknesses. But when I enter into my weakness, when I enter into the shame and sit with that weakness and sit with that shame, in His strength I literally lean into Him for His strength on the situation. I am brought into victory, wholeness and healing.
In the NLT version of it. It says, Each time He said, my grace is sufficient for y’all… look at my Southerness. So here is what Paul said, Each time He said, my grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weakness, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I can take pleasure in my weakness, and the insults and hardship and persecution and troubles that I suffer for Christ. When I am weak, then I am strong.(2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NLT)
And I know where that strength comes from. I know that that strength comes from the life of Christ. I know that strength comes from, and as referenced in my book The Great Exchange, it comes from an exchange of lives. It comes from an exchange of weakness for strength, my life weakness, His life strength. And I experience victory. I experience lack of shame. I’ll enter into the reality of who He is and it’s beautiful. It’s absolutely beautiful. I go into union with Him and I come out vulnerable and unashamed. I don’t have shame when I enter into His strength and allow Him to be strong in me. So I’m really celebrating this book. I would still very much love your prayers about this because I’m looking to continue to work through this and working through and develop the stories, and bring it out. I want it to be powerful. I wanted to be a man’s manual on how to overcome shame is really what I wanted to be. I’m gonna bring and pepper it with all these testimonies.
I also want to invite anyone, I’ve asked several people individually, but I would love shame stories. I would love testimonies of shame, and shames that I’ve been overcome shames that are being overcome and shames that are still current. And I’d love to receive stories about that and be able to do included in the book. I’m going through a number of different shame, shame and weakness, shames in life circumstances, body shame, character shame, all kinds of shame I’m going into. I wanna give examples of that and I’d like to give more than one example. I’d like to give a couple of examples. I’d like to pepper, literally pepper, this with stories. So that it’s not just teaching, it’s not just revelation, it’s testimony it’s living epistles overcoming shame, in the process of overcoming shame or shames that will be overcome.
So I invite anyone if you want to reach out to me and say hey, I have a shame story I’d like to share, I would love it. I would absolutely love it. So I bless y’all. I love you and I appreciate you thanks for listening. Thanks for following. Thanks for your prayers. I really, really need them as I have bring this out. It has been a lot to really come at this and face it in reality and in truth. I mean, I’ve been very, very honest with some personal shames that I have. I’ve brought in some stories about shames that I experienced in others. And then I have several testimonies of men that reached out and said please can you share this. I want to expose this and allow this shame and this shame story to bring victory and crush shame in other men’s lives. So I hope to hear from y’all, let me know if anybody wants to do that and I will be talking to you real soon.

Naked and Unashamed
Episode #854

Walk and talk with John Enslow
Uncovering the Naked and Unashamed Reality: How Surrendering to God’s Ways Can End Shame in Your Life
Well hey there, today I want to talk about the naked and unashamed reality that Adam and Eve experienced. As I’m writing this book on overcoming shame, I am really diving into a lot of topics and a lot of different shames. One of the shame is the shame of our nakedness. So as I have studied that with Adam and Eve and what really happened in the Garden. Adam and Eve had the experience of having no need of clothes. That literally God’s thoughts and Light were their clothing. And it was only when they were tempted to know apart from God, that they gained the shame of their nakedness. And there’s really nothing like the reality of living naked and unashamed. And this doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with clothing.
As with Adam and Eve, the concept of their nakedness was more of an internal thing than it was external thing. It was internal that this nakedness was presenting itself. There shame came from the internal, which is an amazing thought, the shame came from the internal nakedness more than their external nudity. And we live naked and unashamed in sheer vulnerability to God. Their hiding was the shame of their choice, not the exposure of their bodies. The external clothing was just a statement of their internal shame. And that to me really blows my mind, that to me is a fascinating reality.
I believe that when we go to heaven we’re not all of a sudden gonna be wearing white clothing. I think we’re gonna be wearing light. I think we’re gonna go back to the original reality of being naked and unashamed and we are literally going to be clothed with His thoughts of us and His light. That’s gonna be our clothing. And so as I’m diving into the shame and I’m looking into all of this, I’m realizing that we can, each of us can live in that reality now. And how we do that is walking open hearted with Him His ways and His mind. There is a top to bottom vulnerability on our God. And though we can’t walk around in nudity all the time, we can live completely covered by His thoughts of us. It’s a surrender to them and I’m excited about that. I’m excited about the surrender to His thoughts and to His mind and His light to cover me and cover my shame. And I ask for your prayers as I go into this writing of this book because I really really really want to have a deep impact and really be emotionally stirring. I wanted to give reality to living out of shame and living unashamed.
Shame is the most debilitating, the most crushing reality in our lives. We walk in it and it colors everything about us. Our interaction, our influence, the way we interact with others. Other people will respond to a shame rather than us. Shame is a deadly cancer that stymies our life and kills our life. And so I want to write this, and I wanted it to… my hope is to really do some thing that exposes the shame and then shows the process and the way to come out of shame because there’s so many men that I know that walk in shame, that live in shame. And I think that can end. I’m gonna be bringing a bunch of testimonies from different men about their shame. And shames that they have overcome, shames that they are overcoming, and shames that they have. I’m gonna bring all those in and I’m gonna pepper the entire manuscript with stories, with actual shame stories and I pray that it has a deep impact.
So please stand with me in prayer as I come here and I do this work and I put this thing together. I look forward to getting it in your hands and I look for the impact is gonna have on those who have struggled with shame all their life and who needs to have shame end today! I love y’all. I’ll talk to you soon.
Naked and Unashamed – Episode #854 – DivineDesigned.LifePrior to Adam and Eve’s shame of nakedness, they were naked and unashamed. Their shame was more an internal truth than external reality.

The Great Exchange Victory in Christ
Episode #852
04/16/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Barabbas was set free for the crimes that he committed, and an innocent Man took his place (Exchanged Life in Christ).
Hey guys I just want to come real quick today and give a message about the exchanged life, as it’s seen in the story of Barabbas. So I went to an Easter service and in the service the pastor was talking about Barabbas, and he was talking about that there was an exchange of lives that was made. That Barabbas was set free for the crimes that he committed, and an innocent Man took his place (Christ). He really focused on, that the reason was that he could get out of prison. So I thought the message was amazing. I’ve never heard of Easter service that talked about Barabbas. But I feel like it did fit but I felt like there was another part of this message that was so key.
It is found in the book The Great Exchange that I wrote. I just wanted to reference this because death on the cross wasn’t just so we could be let out of prison, that we could be set free. There was something so much greater. And even though the exchange with Barabbas was a great exchange, but I wonder if Barabbas actually experience the gift, or if he simply made a locational change. A from behind bars to in front of bars, but there was no true exchange of life that was purchased for him. So did he experience the John 8:36 reality?! Which is, “So if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” So was that freedom from prison all that Christ wanted to do in that exchange? I feel like a lot of people settle for being let out of prison, but they don’t experience the true gift that was given to us, with His exchanged life. Because that exchange is not just for freedom from prison it’s for experiencing His actual life, having Him live his life through. his resurrection was a great exchange not just for freedom but for victory—His life lives in me.
So I just want to remember the book The Great Exchange today because we have received a great exchange. If you don’t have that book, I invite you to get it I’ll put a link in the show notes here. It is a powerful book about how to actually live life, how to actually experience life, and how to live in victory. I’m always reminded of Galatians 2:20 that says. “He died for all so that those who live would not live to please themselves. But they should live to please Christ who gave His life for them, and rose again from the dead. Contextually it is my old self that has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, so that I can live in this earthly body by trusting in the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
I am always blown away by all that was purchased for me and I just think it’s such a tragedy if we had all these purchased, and we failed to enter into it because of unbelief because of lack of understanding. So I know that I go into depth into two from the minuscule at to the to the great and the great exchange of how to live that out and how to experience that great exchange. I do it with stories, I do it with parables, I do it with testimony, I do it with teaching. I just invite you to check it out and would love to hear what you think. So thank you again for listening and I love you and I will be back in touch real soon!

Episode #851

Walk and talk with John Enslow
I’m going to be able to witness His direction of the ministry, and His leading of it and His mind in it.
Yeah know, this is really amazing to me. I am having a seeing this morning that’s just impacting my heart. I constantly I’m going back to the years I spent in the field with the sheep and the goats, as a shepherd. And today I’m looking at that and I am getting the weight of a situation that’s going on right now.
So when I was a shepherd, of sheep and goats, I was out in the field and I loved those sheep and I cared for those sheep, I sacrificed for those sheep. Those sheep were my focus. And I had to be aware of them. I had to be aware of parasites, I had to be aware of dangers. I had to be aware of fencing, I had to be aware of food. I had to be aware of any spots on their body, I had to be aware of their stool. I had to be aware of all this stuff. And I really gave my life to it. It was over 10 years. I gave my life to these sheep, but they weren’t my sheep. I was doing it for another. I was doing it as a support of another’s flock. So when that man chose to sell those sheep, those sheep were sold. All this heart that I had poured into these animals didn’t matter. I was there to support and when that man wanted to sell the sheep, those sheep were sold. And that had to be, that was the way it was. He was able to direct when they were sold, when they were not sold, how much they ate, the field that they were on. He was the boss and I had to follow him and where he wanted it to go.
I’m looking at this scenario and I’m looking at the situation and I’m seeing how it’s pattern in my own life right now. And how I see that is, I have been in the support of another’s ministry for almost 30 years. That ministry was directed by them. How they wanted to go, where they wanted to go. And just like the sheep and the goats, the direction was based on their will, their design, their desire, their focus. And now the ministry has come onto me. I thought, “Oh my gosh, I am responsible! I am having to focus. I am having to do this. I am having to be the director of this.” Then this morning the Holy Spirit just so softly just came and just slowly just rubbed my face, got my attention and said, “Now your focus is Me. Now I’m going to direct you.”
And it’s not that I wasn’t directed by the Holy Spirit before, because I was. But now I get to focus on Him and His will in this. And I am really witnessing and watching Him direct this quite a part for me. I am literally following. I don’t have the big picture, I have the next couple steps maybe or maybe only the next step. And I am excited about that! Because I’m going to be able to witness His direction of it, and His leading of it and His mind in it. It’s going quite beyond me. The things that the Lord is developing and wanting me to go towards, I’m blow away. I’m going, “Really, oh my gosh!” And I’m following Him and I’m doing these things and it’s beautiful to me. It’s really really really beautiful to me.
It reminds me of Paul’s scripture about marriage. And that obviously relates to me as well being a single guy. That when you’re married you have to be focus on your wife but when you were single you can focus on the kingdom. So I want to read something from first Corinthians 7:32-35 (The Message).
I want you to live as free of complications as possible. When you’re unmarried, you’re free to concentrate on simply pleasing the Master. Marriage involves you in all the nuts and bolts of domestic life and in wanting to please your spouse, leading to so many more demands on your attention. The time and energy that married people spend on caring for and nurturing each other, the unmarried can spend in becoming whole and holy instruments of God. I’m trying to be helpful and make it as easy as possible for you, not make things harder. All I want is for you to be able to develop a way of life in which you can spend plenty of time together with the Master without a lot of distractions.
So when I read that and when I look at that, I’m seeing that the Lord has been developing around me something that is pretty amazing. That He’s wanting to be the focal point. He’s wanting to be the Director. He’s wanting to take the burden and allow me to focus on Him and His will and His doings and not on supporting another. And while it has been perfect for my life to be supportive and be a servant. That was beautiful. But I really feel like the Lord is is now saying, “I want your attention and in directions to be based on what I’m telling you to do.” That’s gorgeous! I am so excited! I am overwhelmed because it is a beautiful state of affairs. Absolutely beautiful state of affairs.
I had a number of guys in a small group that I’m in talk about that at one point I was more like a sidekick, and now the Lord is saying, I want you to be the face. I want you to be the front face. And that had been a difficult thing for me because I’ve thought m, “Do I have what it takes? Can I do this?” And as I have walked it out, I’m now seeing that the Lord is saying listen, “I’m not asking you to take the weight, I’m asking you to follow and I’m asking to be able to direct.” And I am blown away by that. I am empowered by that, I am encouraged by that, I am excited about that because this shift has led to life.
I’m really pleased that I am not having to take the weight on. I’m not having to carry the huge backpack of supplies. I am able to literally enter into this and walk as He’s directing. And that is an incredible burden release off of my heart. And while I know that is the directive for all of us, even if you are married, the scriptures say “Live as if your not”(1 Corinthians 7:29). Meaning that your focus is the kingdom, your focus is directed on the kingdom and on His direction and on His leading. And even if I am married, I am called to enter into that marriage with Him and with Him being the spouse, with Him loving my spouse through me. That’s marriage, that’s New Testament marriage is: I allow Christ’s life to love my spouse through me. I am in the adventure of life with another person and I’m able to experience this, an express this, as He lives His life through me. That’s gorgeous, that’s beautiful! Literally marriage is the stage and platform where I can experience Christ life. That I can experience with another person, and I can watch how He wants to love this other person. That He wants to minister to this other person. How He wants to be involved with this other person. That experience is beautiful.
As a single man, I am able to do the exact same thing in singleness. While being married, I wouldn’t have the ability to have as much focus, being single I have a lot more ability to focus on what He wants to do, what He saying. But there is really no difference. Whether you’re married or single He wants to direct and lead your life. That’s the exchange life, that’s The Great Exchange that we get to experience with Him.
So today I’m looking at this, I’m looking at this scenario. I’m looking at what’s happening, and I realized all of a sudden that He didn’t throw weight on me to do this, He threw an opportunity to follow Him in it. He wants to directed it, He wants to lead it, He wants to guide it, He wants me to have undivided attention on Him to perform what He wants to perform and do what He wants to do. I’m excited about that. I’m excited about that, because I am witnessing His desires, and witnessing His life, lived out and expressed. And the direction that He’s taking me has blow me away. Week after week I’m like going, “Wow, I had no idea it was gonna be like that! I had no idea You were going to do these things, that You were going to set this up this way. And I am learning how He wanted to set it up, how He wants to set it up, what He wants to do, who He wants to bring as players. And I’m like, “This is beautiful!”
So I hope this is helpful. I am impacted today by this because I’m realizing the direction that He’s taking me is leading me moment by moment where there was another person before and now it’s His voice. It’s His direction. He’s not giving me the grand scheme of things because then I would do it. I do it myself. I would run ahead. I’d be like, “Oh OK, well we can fix all this .” He didn’t want that! He’s wanting me to have my ears leaned on Him, and hearing Him, and following His direction. And that’s beautiful. That’s just beautiful. I know He want all of us to live but I am seeing it up close and personal right now, and He is painting the portrait of my life. He is displaying His idea of art and a masterpiece, and I am a witness. I am a witness of what He’s wanting to do. And I know that that’s all of us. That He’s painting in all of our lives, a beautiful portrait of Himself, and we are able to experience His expression, H is multifaceted expression in our lives as we see Him direct our daily steps and that is the Christian life. So I love you. I appreciate you and I will be back in touch very, very soon.
Trusting in God’s Direction – Episode #851 – DivineDesigned.LifeI have the weight felt responsibility for the ministry, yet the Holy Spirit reminds me that my focus is on His direction and on His leading.

Conflict in Brotherhood
Episode #850
04/02/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Embracing Conflict: How Conflict in Brotherhood Can Help Us Grow and Heal
Today I want to bring you something that a brother and I were discussing and I really feel like it’s a key. We were talking about conflict in brotherhood and there was an amazing thing that was revealed. I know that conflict is never fun. I know that conflict sometimes is avoided. People will pacify things or avoid things that caused conflict, or simply just not say anything, and I end up using it as a thing to swallow, and then it turns into something that festers. That’s just never healthy and never good. And I have a different perspective on conflict today.
Conflict sometimes is the very sandbox that God is developing and working that into your life so that you can deal with things from your past. So if you have a brother who triggers something in you and there’s a problem and there’s conflict and you deal with it in that situation with that brother. It’s an amazing thing because you can sit there in that moment and it’s a safe sandbox. You’ve got a brother, you’ve got something that is controllable in this amount of time and in this amount of situation and you can deal with things that are maybe from past, from childhood or from a long time ago. And you’re able to face them and deal with them, and not only resolve the conflict in the moment, but resolve some internal conflict, and the internal story that may be in our hearts and lives.
To me it’s beautiful that the Lord will bring up over and over and over again different things that trigger us, different things that hurt us, different things that wound us. Not because He’s wanting it to be difficult on us but because He’s wanting us to face things that are holding us back. Things that are, those little mental barriers that prevent us from really entering into true freedom, and experience of the joys and the adventure of life. Because we have these things are constantly speaking against our experience of life and of Him.
So if He brings you a situation that… I know personally, I’ve been on a trip with a really good friend and we had some conflict that happened and we instead of avoiding it, instead of stuffing it, instead of resisting it, we kind of leaned into it, faced it, dealt with it in the moment. And I realize that there was something so much deeper that each of us were experiencing. There was something that was from childhood, a past wound, that had sat there so long and now this situation triggered it.
Even though the situation wasn’t exact, there were elements of it that triggered it. But it was a safe place to deal with that and when I dealt with that, and when he dealt with that, we were able to deal with something that was not only just in the moment, but also from the past. We were able to see, “Oh yeah, this is a wound I’ve been caring for a long time that I’ve not dealt with.” And the Lord and His love, and His compassion, and His desire for me to walk in wholeness and holiness, He basically created a sacred space. A sacred conflict so that I could deal with it and I could go and look at it head on with this brother.
I actually had someone to assist me in it even though he was a part of the conflict. Even though he was the triggering element of the conflict. I was able to do this with a brother. I was able to face and focus on this and with a brother. So I wasn’t doing it alone and we both were enriched and brought into a deeper place. So I don’t avoid conflict in relationship and brotherhood, because I have found that the benefit of it is usually pretty amazing.
I know another situation where I’m in a small group and in that small group there was things that were going on and I was assigning value and collecting data based on what I was hearing and seeing and I left the situation and I had my heart hurt. And so then I, instead of pushing it down, I literally said “OK, let’s deal with this!” And I brought it out to this brother and I said this is kind of how I’m feeling and we were able to resolve it. We were able to deal with it. We were able to face it. And the data that I had in my head, the story I was telling myself was actually not the story at all. There wasn’t any reality to it, and it was just because I had brought my judgments, my opinions, my wounds, my past experience to a situation and wrote a whole storyline.
So if I had not taken that storyline to that brother, if I had not taken that wound, that hurt, that situation to that brother, I would not of been able to deal with it, find out what the truth was, find out what the reality was, find out what the actual situation was. And then it was completely turned around into something really beautiful where I was vulnerable and I was being honest and then they felt that connection of the fact that I was not in defense. I was not trying to be accusatory. I was literally bringing my situation and the conflict to him and we resolved it and we grew out of it.
So I’m looking at all this in conflict, I am experiencing growth in life. And it’s been an amazing thing. So I say don’t avoid conflict with your brother. It may just be the very sandbox, the safe zone that the Lord may be developing in your life to work out some past things and some past wounds and some past hurts. And He wants it for growth and He wants to bring someone into it with you, so that you can live it through and mature and grow and develop into the man that you are supposed to be. So I love y’all, I appreciate you, thank you for listening and I will be back in touch real soon.
Conflict in Brotherhood – Episode #850 – DivineDesigned.LifeI used to think conflict in brotherhood was something to be avoided but now I see it as a safe sandbox that God uses to help us deal with past wounds and internal conflict.

The Chosen, a Sovereign Touch
Episode #849
03/26/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
I was watching The Chosen and there is a interaction with little James and Jesus in that, that just rang my bell.
Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you about that I saw the other day. I was watching The Chosen and I was watching episode two of season three. And there is a interaction with little James and Jesus in that, that just rang my bell. Because it is so completely connected with the message I have in the Sovereign Touch. In essence the creators of The Chosen made a little James have a physical ailment. And Jesus has a discussion with him that absolutely beautiful. Where they were talking about, how can Little James go out with this ailment with this slow walking issue that he’s got, the necessity cane in order to walk. How in the world can he go and be an element, and a vessel of Christ’s healing while he himself is not completely whole.
I think that is a dynamic, dynamic reality, because of the fact that each of us are called to be a healing vessel, to listen to the Holy Spirit, and to move in the Holy Spirit, and allow His life to flow through us. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re going to experience total wholeness. Sometimes our sufferings are the area that God makes us a superhero. I had a coach that spoke that over me the other day and I thought, wow my suffering has become my superhero strength.
And so, as I kind of reflect on the Sovereign Touch, and I reflect on with this episode of The Chosen brought forth. It was really very fascinating, because I believe that I show in the Sovereign Touch how it is out of the greatest crises of man that the most glorious life of Christ comes forth. And that is a super trust in a sovereign God. That is a dealing that is not easy. But I know that the greatest pains of man does have the potential to produce the greatest amount of glory and the greatest amount of experience of Christ. And at the same time, it is out of my woundedness and my difficulties that He is able to show Himself. I gain a tremendous amount of empathy because of being in that situation. I gave an empathy for others in that situation. My brokenness gives me empathy for those that are broken, compassion for those that are broken. And out of my wounded little boy, there emerges great healing.
I don’t wanna ruin the episode for you, but the conversation between them is so beautiful to have a discussion and there’s tears and there’s heart and there’s interaction that I believe relates to us all. That’s what I found with The Chosen. The Chosen may not be exact. I’ve never read anywhere that little James was handicapped in anyway. But what I have found is that The Chosen episodes ties my humanity with the biblical accounts of Christ’s life and the disciple’s lives. Dallas brings me into the Gospel story, because I am who they are representing, I am who they’re displaying. And they bring it into such a human level, where you see the struggles. OK no, we don’t know specifically that Peter and his wife had those struggles. But we do know humanity and we do know that, that’s the probability is high on that one.
So anyway, I’m excited that this is a demonstration of the very thing that I wrote about and I love that book (The Sovereign Touch). I absolutely love that book because not only did He write it through me, but I was able to grow and learn and experience His sovereignty over and over and over, as He was writing this in my life. I will never be the same for that. It’s absolutely beautiful to me because I need a Sovereign God. I need a God who is over everything, including the pains, the struggles in my life, as well as things I will go through in the future. So I love you I appreciate you thanks for listening and I’ll talk to you next week.
The Chosen, a Sovereign Touch – Episode #849 – DivineDesigned.LifeA scene in The Chosen completely connected with my book Sovereign Touch. Little James was called to bring healing with a physical ailment.

Difference Between Fantasy and Dreams
Episode #848
03/19/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
From fantasy to reality – embrace your dreams and live the life you were meant to lead.
Hey there, this week I want to talk about the difference between fantasy and dreams. I had in a small group this subject rise up and I had the thought that is the only difference between vision or dreams and fantasy—Hope? As you look at fantasy, fantasy of any kind, but particularly sexual fantasy, it is hopeless. Usually it is isolating and shaming. It creates a distance from our actual reality and that isolation is shaming for us.
So I am thinking, OK, because both dreams and fantasy are projections, but one has hope, one has vision. And I believe ultimately one’s from God and ones just from self, for self. Our connection with a reality and a direction is hopeful, it’s beautiful. It’s how we get from here to there. We see! Without vision the people perish, but when you have that vision, it has an energy and a power. And if it’s from the Lord, He performs it. It’s beautiful! It’s an amazing thing but fantasy is self consuming. Fantasy is a conjuring for self. Fantasy is consumption. And that is inward and it implodes rather than explodes.
I love the fact that when you have dreams and hopes and you plan for those dreams in hopes that you actually explode into life. Dreams carry passion, dreams carry zeal, where fantasies just carry lust. And it pushes reality away rather than makes it. Dreams make reality. Isn’t that beautiful?! Dreams, our dreams can make a reality, vision, purpose, plans, direction. Setting forth to do what we know we’re called to do and want to do. It’s beautiful and it’s life-giving and the Holy Spirit can lead us in that and we can have that teeming source of energy in our chest, which just carries us through. It gives us purpose and gives us great pleasure to know that we have a direction that is going forward.
Fantasy is usually in the darkness. Dreams can build a kingdom, the kingdom of God. Where fantasy digs a cavern that we just fall into. The problem with the fantasy is it demands from us. It demands more and more and more and more. There may be a whole mess of reasons why we do that. We may be coping with a bad situation in our life or simply just filling the time. But fantasy is implosively negative. It is a continual suck down, and it continually demands more and more and more were dreams give and give and give. Give life, give life to others around you. When we have dreams that usually incorporates people, it incorporates our families, our friends, our coworkers. Dreams are inclusive and they’re contagious. Fantasy, is just exclusive of others. It doesn’t bring anyone in there. It’s our own secret darkness.
So I love this subject. I love this topic because in life I am looking to develop the designs, the desires and the purposes of men, so that they can move forward and they can be who they were created to be that they can they can explode with life for their families for their friends, and for the coworkers. For everyone they touch, literally feels the energy of the dreaming life, the designed life, the connection with who we were created to be. When we don’t have a vision of who were created to be, when we were in the dark night, that soul sucking vacuum of not being able to see, we boil it down to the fantasy. It just becomes self consumption. It becomes a consuming life rather than a producing life.
So I just wanted to bring this to you today and bless you with the fact that this is our plan, this is God‘s plan for our life is that we would live a life of dreams. That we would live a life of vision. That we would live a life of purpose and connecting with our design. That is gorgeous! That is life-giving and life sustaining and connecting. So I love y’all and I appreciate you. I hope this was helpful to you. It’s just these thoughts that come through I’m like wow that is an amazing reality. So God bless you. I love you and I’ll talk to you soon.
Difference Between Fantasy and Dreams – Episode #848 – DivineDesigned.LifeIs the difference between fantasy and dreams simply hope? The is a call to take the action towards living a more fulfilling life.

Love is the Answer to Cold Love!
Episode #847
03/12/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Often men in the body of Christ, feel more rejected than they do loved.
Hey guys, I’m just processing a lot of things right now and I just wanted to bring them to you and open them up to you. I’m processing the nature of love in God and cold love. I’m gonna be going over in the blog about cold love because I feel like cold love is the antithesis of actual love, and quite a part from our own design. So, if we were made in the image of God and God is love, then that means that you and I are LOVE. That literally for us to be in hatred, we have to be counter to our making, our design. We have to literally oppose who we are to hate.
When I think of cold love I think of hatred. It’s diabolical because it fuels our fear of rejection and cold love is bone chilling. And “the love of most will grow cold in the last days.” I feel like that is the temptation. Is to come into the satanic order of things and gain cold love. Cold love is selfish, cold love is self-consumed, cold love is self protective, cold love is reserving, cold love communicates rejection and abandonment. Cold love is horrible. And as I’m pursuing understanding love and understanding what love really looks like, I know that it’s Him. It’s connected, it’s attunement, it’s self sacrificing, it’s deeply affirming. So I am I’m really excited. I’m just excited because I am looking to enter into loving brotherhood and experience that in the body of Christ.
I know that a lot of men in the body of Christ, feel more rejected than they do loved. And we fear as men making ourselves vulnerable, of bringing our hearts out and expressing love and affection. Because will be judged or will be manipulated or it’s too emotionally vulnerable. But it’s the very thing that we need as men. We need love. We need that connection and we yearn for it and we long for it. And what I saw on the weekend that I just had with the guys was just men who wanted to experience brotherly love. Wanted to experience connection. Want to experience acceptance. They wanted to experience body life. The body of Christ functioning together, and that isn’t a safe love and that isn’t a comfortable love. That‘s a open hearted and love in an open hearted expression. So as I’m just looking at cold love, and I am looking at the temptation of Satan to make us separated, isolated. I realize that he’s working on us to make us further and further apart and resistant to the order of love, which is God.
The other side of it is to get it for yourself. To extracted from others so that it’s for you. Ultimately, it’s never for you. It’s never for me. It’s ultimately for Him. And as we love in Him, we experience body love with each others. But the focus is Him. And so it’s tricky, it’s risky, it’s vulnerable because I have to know that I am literally going and focusing on Him, His love and let the letting Him expressed that love through me. And it’s very hard, it’s intoxicating, that love is beautiful and all of a sudden your like (gobble). All your lack of love in your childhood, in your life, all of a sudden you want to fill those holes with that love for yourself. But I’m seeing that, that’s not how we necessarily fulfill that love we fulfill that love by our focus on Him, our connection with Him, our love of Him and are allowing Him to love our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, which is absolutely beautiful.
I’m excited to experience it, to express it, to discover it. And I may not do it perfectly, but I am purposing to be present, to make myself available for love’s connection, for love’s purpose, for love’s design. And yes, it’s going to be risky but I know that He’s holding me and He’s holding my heart and He will perform what He wants to perform and do what he wants to do. I will witness LOVE coming out of me like a fountain. And as I make those connections, I will enjoy and drink deeply in the body of Christ. So I bless you each of you and love you and thank you for following this podcast. I ask for the Holy Spirit to keep each of us as we experience His love as we expressed His love, and as we discover is loving nature in our bodies in our beings in our lives. Thank you for listening.
Love is the Answer! – Episode #847 – DivineDesigned.lifeWhen I think of cold love I think of hatred. It’s diabolical because it fuels our fear of rejection and cold love is bone chilling.

Men Meeting for Brotherhood and Connection
Episode #846
03/05/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Men connecting with their design and they’re doing it in community and brotherhood.
Hey guys, I just want to tell you about something that just happened this past weekend. I had a group of eight men that came in from all over the States and we met for an amazing time of fellowship and of connection. It was so deeply powerful. It was so moving because not only did you have brotherhood. Not only did you have connection. Not only did you have affirmation, but we saw the Holy Spirit move. Charles Carrin has been asking me and said, “Listen, allow the ministry to be confirmed with signs and wonders. Don’t let it just be a word ministry. And I totally agree with that. I love the Holy Spirit. I love the Holy Spirit moving, and I was able to witness some pretty amazing things where the Holy Spirit was just moving among the men, and we did some deep work in the hearts, and the fruit that has come out of that that they are telling me it’s just been outstanding. I’m absolutely loving with the Lord has done.
I would love to be able to do this kind of meeting every, three or four months. I think it would be absolutely powerful because I feel like men are looking for some direction, they’re looking for some purpose, there looking for their design. And there’s so many things that are telling us that we are not connected with our design. That we are separated from our design and I am witnessing men connecting with their design and they’re doing it in community and brotherhood. That to me is super powerful and super amazing.
I’ve had several of the guys that basically have said, “I want to tell you what this meant to me. What this spoke to me, what this conveyed to me. The affirmation alone, the connection, and the power of the Holy Spirit just to be able to transform lives, and to change lives has been deeply moving.
I know in my last podcast I talk about Lance Wallnau and his words, those deeply powerful words about convergence, and I am looking, and witnessing, and I am seeing those men that are wanting to experience the convergence of their life. They’re wanting to experience the divine design, discover the design, and to come into that design and really shine, shine for Him and allow His life to be lived through them. It’s absolutely powerful. So this message is not really revelatory, this message is more of a testimony of just what I am witnessing and what I’m viewing, and what I’m seeing. And the meetings were beyond anything that I thought it could even happen and there is a unity and there’s a brotherhood and there was fun and there was a connection and we were able to be men we were able to have fun we were able to enjoy together but then there was a deep work, healing hearts, healing deep wounds, healing concepts of our self, and who we have believed that we are, and how we face our world. Because we’re looking at it through our view and we’re not actually living the reality of who we are.
These men were encircled around each other, and speaking into one another their perspective on these men’s divine design. Each man did it individually, and every man spoke individually to that man. It was outstanding because we can become so myopic and see only the small little detail, and then just be wrapped up in our self that we can’t see the big picture, but when your brother will come up alongside of you and say, “This is not the way this is, you are this, this is who the Lord is made you to be.” It’s beautiful and it was powerful and it made me so hungry to experience this over and over with the just beautiful men, who are looking to enter into their divine design, their spiritual DNA, the creation of God, is created them to be, and to experience and express His life l, and allow that life to impact dynamically families, friends, relatives, and coworkers. Everyone that we walk around, we can impact those people, because we enter into our purpose. We enter into our divine purpose and then we were able to see that purpose realized.
So this was an aspect that I really enjoyed witnessing and I could see it transpire and transform lives. So to connect with brothers and bring affirmation to brothers, it was beautiful. It was life-changing. It was dynamic and so I will be doing this again. I’m looking to do this as many times as much as need be. And I’m going just utterly dependent on the Holy Spirit to move. Utterly transfixed on Him and His movement, and depending on Him, but I’m going in for the expectation and faith, that what I am looking to achieve and to see happen will happen because it’s His desire. It’s His design and it’s His purpose. He longs for us to enter into our actual reality who He is and from there we are launched into the divine reality of Christ in us , the hope of glory, and if we affect the world. That’s what we need!
We need men that are connecting with their design so that they can transform the world that is so damaged and so broken. So I thank you for listening. I thank you for just celebrating with me what the Lord is doing and I ask for your prayers because I would like to see this happen, one life at a time, changing lives so we can witness Him without the hindrances without the metal boundaries and borders that we can put up with fear, unbelief past wounds. And we can enter into His true purpose bless you. I love you I appreciate you and I’ll be back soon.
Men Meeting for Brotherhood and Connection – Episode #846 – Divine Designed Life

Convergence Theory – The Divine Designed Life
Episode #845
02/19/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Convergence is when you’re doing the thing God created you to do.
Hey guys! So I have really lately just really come across a lot that has been speaking to the direction that I’m wanting to go. And I wanted to share that with you today. I heard Lance Wallnau say something that is very interesting about convergence. And I had never heard this word before. But as I have been developing the design and the direction of where I’m going, this just resonated with me and I wanted to share it with you.
He says, Convergence theory says that God designed you with certain gifts, talents and abilities, so that you have an assignment or a calling that matches your design. (sound familiar?) And in the areas where you lack, you can see God and God will augment your natural capacity with a supernatural acumen to compliment you so that even though you may seem in the natural like you cannot do it, God will give you by grace the ability to do what you can not do. Your gifts, talents and abilities plus the supernatural enablement of God produces a capacity for convergence. Convergence is when you’re doing the thing God created you to do. And the research Bobby Clinton has found that only 20% of the Body of Christ actually gets in the convergence. That’s 20%, not of mankind, but 20% of Christian seeking to fulfill their destiny…but 80% don’t get there.
I was blown away by that, I thought my gosh, that is exactly what I’m wanting to do here. I am wanting to connect men to their design their God-given design and the convergence whole thing is a shocking deal. I mean even to say, “so that you have an assignment or a calling that matches your design.” That’s exactly what I’m going for!
I also found that Winston Churchill said something very interesting about this. Winston Churchill explained this way, “There comes in the lifetime of every man, that special moment when he is figuratively tapped on the shoulder, and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to him and fitted to his talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds him unprepared for the work, which could be his finest hour.” There again, that is absolutely beautiful. That is connecting our divine design with our life so that we can experience the DNA design that God has made when He made us, so that we can experience our divine destiny. Our eternal destiny!
What I’m seeing this happen in my life is that I’ve tapped into the grace of God to perform the will of God. So let me give you a for instance of that. I was called to write. I was not a writer, I’m not even a reader. So by nature, I have no ability to do what I was called to do. But by the grace of God, He enabled me to do what I was called to do. So I was able to experience His amazing power when I connected my design with my destiny. And my design was blocked by triggers and past wounds and bitterness and self hatred and a plethora of things was preventing me from entering into my divine design. But He connected me with that design and then made me and brought His life through me to be that design, so that I could experience it. That’s an amazing, amazing process. It’s somethings only the Holy Spirit can do. And as Charles Carrin had said, it had to have the signs and wonders of the Holy Spirit connected with the words that the Holy Spirit gives us. The revelation that Holy Spirit gives us to show us the life that we were called live.
So many people don’t know the life. And this research by Bobby Clinton says 80% of us don’t ever touch it! Don’t ever connect with it! And there’s a lot of 80/20% realities out there and this is just one of them. 20% of the people in the church do 80% of the work. Well, it sounds like, 20% of the people are getting in touch with their divine design and allowing the Holy Spirit to connect them with their destiny and experience His life. So what happens to the other 80%?
So my goal and my desire is to really connect and unify men with their divine design, so that they can live their divine designed life in Christ. And they can experience who they are. Pull way from all that has told you, that’s not who you are, you could never do that. I could never right I was not a writer, never, never could I write. I don’t even read! I was a horrible reader, and He said, but I’m gonna make you a writer.
And I’ve had people that have come to me and I’ve said, “I can’t believe you’re not a reader, you write like a reader, you write like a man who is been well read !” I’m not, but I do have the the Grand Author that has connected me with my heart, and my design and His life and His words and His purpose has come through me.
So I want to do that. I want to do that in the lives of men. I want to see them come into the wholeness and the healing and the design of their destiny so they can experience the life that God has given them. The life that God chooses to express through them. That’s beautiful! Because I get a witness what He wants to do. I get the witness His design in me. It’s not like I have to perform it, I have to witness it. But I have to be connected to it, to see it and then once I’m connected to it, I can move into it and experience Him.
So I love y’all. I appreciate y’all and I’m looking forward to just getting into doing this and working and connecting with the Holy Spirit and finding divine designs, finding the spiritual DNA so that people can live their divine designed life. I love y’all!

Divine Design Divine Purpose
Episode #844
02/12/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
I find my divine purpose when I bring The Great I AM all that I am.
Hey guys! This morning I just want to think about something that I wrote on the blog. That I am to bring The Great I AM all that I am. And that when I bring my “I am” to The Great I AM, I am able to see and experience so much of who He is and what He is and what He wants to reveal through me and in me. I am excited about this concept. I talk about in there the widow’s mite, and how the widow’s mite was something that was puny and menial in the worlds view, but those two little mites that she brought were the greatest thing that she could bring to bring glory and honor and pleasure to the King because He saw her heart. And so I am excited! I am excited that in coming to the table, focusing, looking to the Holy Spirit to reveal what are mites are, and then connecting with those mites and presenting them to Him, He’s able to connect our divine design with His divine purpose, which is our eternal destiny. And I am beyond excited about that because the Holy Spirit is not a miser. He is so interested in bringing out and bringing forth what He designed us, our spiritual DNA design. He’s so interested in bringing that forth and allowing us to experience Him in those giftings. Those giftings are how we experience Him. Those giftings are where we’re going to see Him move. They were designed literally, so that we would move in those areas and witness Him. It’s a witness platform to see the King of Glory, and the Eternal Waymaker to present Himself to the world and I get to observe it. I get to observe it! So the reason why it’s so important for me to stop and hold space for the Holy Spirit, basically create a space to move and to function, is because when I do that, when I do that, then I am united with my divine design and Designer. So the power of all this is absolutely amazing, that we get to be united with who we are. Uncover… Someone said to me yesterday that it’s a spiritual excavator, it’s a spiritual archaeologist and basically we’re going in to find who we were created to be, what our design is, and to uncover with the Holy Spirit, obviously with the Holy Spirit, uncover those things that have prevented us from experiencing Him and His glory and His Life and His design for us. And when we get connected with that design, we know, we know, we know, we are satisfied. We are fulfilled no matter what it is. We gain a deep satisfaction in His spiritual pleasure and that’s what I want to do. I want to work with men that feel aimless the feel distant from their design and they don’t even know what the design is because they have so much burying them, and so much preventing them from connecting and going forward. And like I said in there, I am not a fixer, but I know where the answer is, if somebody can walk alongside with you and to connect with you and to listen with you. To ask questions to find, to discover where the reality is and who He wants to be and how He wants to perform so that we can get on the track and in the path of His purpose for each of our lives. It’s beautiful! I love you.

Not the Mountain Top but the Journey
Episode #843
02/05/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
I can set a goal for the mountaintop and missed the point of the journey.
Good morning, I just had a couple thoughts I wanted to share with you this morning. I am by nature a fix-it guy. I see a problem and I look to fix it. I’ve done that on my own life, I’ve done that friends lives, I’ve done that in business life, I’ve done that everywhere. Basically I’m a fixer. That’s part of my internal family system that helps me cope and supports me through different things in my life.
So as a fixer, I can set a goal for the mountaintop and missed the point. I can miss the point of life by looking for the mountaintop. And as I’m sitting and waiting with Him. I have that sense that the Father is saying, “I’m not interested in the mountaintop. I’m interested in the journey, I look for your presence, your company, your fellowship in the moment.” I can’t get away from that, living in the moment is so huge.
And as we are scaling up mountains in our life and trying to overcome things and trying to fix things and trying to achieve things, we can get so fixated on the end result that we lose the blessing that is right now, right in this very moment. I’ve learned that relationally, where if there’s a goal to achieve, to an event, to accomplish, and to conquer, that I can lose the very moment of time with that person. The journey with that person is life. The end result is just another mark on the path.
So if I am hiking, say I’m hiking with three or four guys and we’re in the mountains and we’re making our way through and all we have said in our head is mountain peak, mountain peak, mountain peak. We’re gonna lose and we’re gonna miss the times in the valley, along the river, on the path. We’re going to miss at time of fellowship, of time of connection and I don’t wanna do that. I have the propensity to do that, but I don’t want to do that.
So my challenge today is that we would each stay in the moment and remain present in the moment and get the quality out of the time, not the quantity, the quality of the time, for what’s happening in this very moment. Whether it’s connection, relationship… I don’t wanna miss any relationship. I don’t want to miss any connection. I don’t want to miss any union with my brothers and sisters or with my God or with myself.
If I am so fixated and focused on fixing and in achieving the goal, I lose the connection with myself. I lose the connection with experiencing life and that’s tragic. That is pitiable! Because I have one go around on this deal. This life is once. I get to go through it once. If I’m constantly setting goals, setting landmarks and not focusing on the path that I’m on today. I’m gonna miss all of it. Because if you think about it, OK so you hit the goal you reach the summit you look it’s beautiful and then you start back down. You have to start back down. So the actual experience of the summit is a very small, small, small part of the journey, very small. It’s the moment, the excitement. Yes, it’s a dopamine rush you achieve something, but did you choose something and lose all the preliminary work, all the preliminary relationship, all the preliminary journey. That’s tragic! So that’s my challenge and that’s where I want to make sure that on a daily basis I am not setting my sights on something and losing the moment.
I love y’all. I appreciate y’all and I will talk to you soon.

Our Spiritual DNA
Episode #842
01/29/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
The temptation is to use our spiritual DNA for self rather than God.
You know, what I found in this whole journey is the affirmation, the confirmation and the attunement, and the direct interaction with brothers into your life, is the difference between life and death. When a brother speaks into your life from the Spirit and with heart, it has the power and the direct influence to be able to change really the climate of everything. And it is my heart, it really is my heart. I have a great desire to really walk with men and see them come into wholeness and healing and really experience who they’ve been created to be.
The ministry name that I’ve developed and found it and I’m going to use is Divine Designed Life. That’s the website DivineDesigned.Life. We all have a divine designed life and the issue usually is connecting with that divine design. It’s not like we have to get it because we have been designed with a specific spiritual DNA to function and to be in a certain way from the beginning. We came with it and the enemy really tries to do stuff to make us feel like we are not able to fulfill that design. And as long as he can keep us away from that design, then we fail with our destiny.
So my goal in this is to hold space for guys and literally allow the Holy Spirit to move in that space to make connections, mental connections, heart connections, spirit, connections with the Creator who created us and who has a design for each of us. My design is totally different than your design, and your design is totally different than another guys design. I am very specifically made with a design and sin has marred and sin has prevented me from functioning for the kingdom in it, but a lot of it.
What does it says? “The gifts of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:29) Meaning, the giftings you’ve been given you’ve been given and you can use those for yourself or you can use those for the Lord. I always when I think of that scripture I was thinking Madonna. I think about Madonna is very charismatic very trendsetting very connecting with music. I don’t think that she’s the best singer. I think she’s the best entertainer. She is who she is because she’s able to morph and able to develop herself. God gave her that ability to draw people and draw masses in and to connect them with song and everything like that. Good grief, trendsetting! Well she’s in sin, so she’s not connected to the kingdom building of that, she’s connected into the Madonna kingdom building. And she’s done a great job at it. Those gifts were given to her by God and that is her DNA. It is who she’s is who she is. She just has not using it for God.
So I don’t want to get before Him and say, “Oh yeah, well I had this potential, I had this gifting I had this design in my being, but I didn’t really want to use it for God. I wanted to use it for self.” Or I wanted to do with the one talent servant did, which is bury it? That’s a big temptation. The temptation for us to bury that one talent, bury our DNA gifting, bury who we are in Christ and how He wants to express Himself through us. That’s shocking to me, totally shocking to me. That the enemy wants to spin us, spin us out and away from our connection with Him. So I love you and I’ll talk to you soon.

Seeing Spiritual DNA in Transition
Episode #841
01/22/2023
Hosted by John Enslow and joined by special guest: Charles Carrin
Everybody has their own spiritual DNA that we have been given.
Charles:
Here we are again and I am excited to have a very special guest with me. This is Charles Carrin and John Enslow from Suches Georgia. Now you may not know where that is but it’s on the top of a mountain in north Georgia and a wonderful place to visit. There are still bears and deer, and actually wolves and foxes.
John:
Coyotes and foxes.
Charles:
At any rate, John has been in ministry for about 30 years. A wonderful friend and I want to introduce you to him and let him share some of the events in his life. John, start out and tell us how you came to know the Lord.
John:
I had a dark to light testimony, and the Lord basically imposed Himself on me and said, “You’re either going to live for me or I’m gonna take you out!”
Charles:
Oh wow!
John:
And I said, “Well that’s not much of a choice…” So I said yes and that day my wife changed. Everything didn’t proceed as a Christian, but from that moment on my life was different.
Charles:
Right
John:
And I got saved about a year later. And it was beautiful.
Charles:
Tell us a little bit about that.
John:
So I went to a crusade that was called the PowerTeam in Orlando.
Charles:
I remember that.
John:
And I went to them and was very dynamically impacted, that there were these muscle guys who typically would be machismo guys, who were very tender, and who were in touch with their heart, were in touch with their God, and we’re in touch with each other. And I was just dynamically impacted by that.
Charles:
Awesome.
John:
It drew me and I went the Lord basically said, “I want you to go. And I want you to publicly profess there. And I want you to bring as many people as you can and everybody you bring will get saved. Well I brought my parents. I brought childhood friends, I brought the comptroller for the country club I was working for, the general managers and serval waiters. I just brought a whole mess of people. A friend of mine said that it was kind of a woman at the well ministry, because I just said come and see.
Charles:
Amen
John:
They basically all got saved, and everyone of those those people are continuing on with the Lord right now.
Charles:
That’s awesome. And that was how many years ago?
John:
That was in 89.
Charles:
You do the math. At any rate it was a good long time and it’s a wonderful thing. John has continued in his area of ministry since that time. And you’ve done a lot of traveling. I know you were in St. Petersburg, Russia. I was in Russia but I never got to that part.
John:
It is absolutely beautiful.
Charles:
Tell us.
John:
So I mean, it feels like a Scandinavian country. The people that are walking on the street are dressed to the nines, the business people, and their beautiful Scandinavian looking beautiful faces. I was always taught when I was young that Russians are unattractive and rough.
Charles:
Rough
John:
And it was anything but true. They were absolutely…they look like they walked off the runway. They were beautiful people. We met a bunch of beautiful people there, they invited us into their home. They didn’t have anything but they did put a spread out for just beautiful.
Charles:
Right that is so wonderful. I was with Derek Prince in Russia. Different time but several times. And saw the Russian people there in Moscow and other parts of Asia…very beautiful, sensitive, loving people.
John:
Absolutely
Charles:
I’m so thrilled that I’ve got some memories of those kind of events. I may have told this to my audience previously. I was in Moscow with Derek Prince and he had an audience of about a thousand Russian pastors there. But even in the middle of his sermon, John, he stopped and seemed addled for a moment. Took authority over the spirit of epilepsy in the audience. Never left the platform. Took authority over the spirit of epilepsy, commanded it to go, and they were three epileptic seizures in the audience. Now I’ve told this before, but I am happy that I can repeat it. Derek was a man of authority and his materials are still available. His ministry is actually, and he’s been dead about 10 years now, his ministry is actually promoting his material even more widely that it was when he was alive. But if you’ve been out of the US and John has done a lot of travel in central and South America, as I have. And we’ve met these beautiful Christian people.
What do you think it’s going to be in your future of ministry at this point?
John:
I really want to work with men. I really want to work basically in the coaching model, but basically coaching is a new word for discipleship. And I really wanna work with men to allow them to emerge and connect with their spiritual DNA. Everybody has their own spiritual DNA that we have been given.
Charles:
Right!
John:
It’s inside us. It is a part of us because of our Creator and when we connect with our creator. We can access our destiny by connecting with that DNA and your DNA is totally different than my DNA.
Charles:
Right
John:
But when we connect with our Creator, then we were able to really access that destiny and access Him. So I really want to…so many things can prevent us from accessing it even though it’s there.
Charles:
Amen
John:
We have the problem of not being able to access it with wounds, childhood wounds and triggers, and past things, and it just gets buried.
Charles:
Right
John:
I really want to help with discipleship to bring them forward into their own. Not telling them, not fixing them, helping them get over those hurdles and connecting with their DNA.
Charles:
Amen, amen. Do you have final word to this audience.
John:
I don’t know. I’m really, really grateful for this man. This man has come into my life at a time that has been great transition. The Lord just dropped him into my life to really be a father and really support and bringing forward and I’m really grateful for you.
Charles:
Bless you.
John:
Because I’ve said it on a podcast that we do the Shulamite podcast. I’ve said that this man is lavish and that I’ve never met a man more lavish than him. He gives lavishly with his finances, with his spirit, with his love, everything that he does is lavish. I’m so grateful for you because you don’t withhold anything you give. You’re a giver and because you’re a giver literally the Holy Spirit pours into you and fills you so that it just spills forth.
Charles:
Amen.
John:
And it’s absolutely beautiful and so I’m very, very, very grateful that the Lord put you in my life and that He’s given you a great love for me and me for you and that the Spirit works between us. It’s beautiful.
Charles:
Amen
Well alright. Jesus said give and it will be given to you. And if you’re not receiving, it’s probably because you’re not giving. God is not going to impart to a miser. Do you hear me? He gives generously and expected that out of you.
And I want you to remember this book Hooray and Hallelujah. It is kind of my testimony, and actually it tells some of the things that John was explaining. I’ve had a devoted ministry for other pastors and men primarily for a number of years. God has brought them into my life in a very wonderful way. At any rate, God bless you will be back again soon, bye.
Seeing Spiritual DNA in Transition – Episode #841 – Shulamite PodcastI really wanna work with men to allow them to emerge and connect with their unique spiritual DNA. It has been a huge transition.

Assurance of Abundance
Episode #840
01/15/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
He gives us an assurance with His Holy Spirit that we will live in abundance.
Hey guys, so I’m on my way down to Florida. I’m gonna see Charles and my parents. And on my trip I was just thinking about the last podcast I did. How that oppressive situation‘s or difficult situations in our life can really tempt us to push back disciplines to ease the pain. We feel like sometimes it’s easier to just lay things aside or numb out with something…Netflix, Facebook scrolling, whatever. That we can just numb out and we can just pull back a bit. But that’s never truly helpful, actually it’s detrimental. Because with the oppressive or difficult situation the Lord is wanting us to lurch forward not retreat.
So as I’m thinking about that, I was listening to John Eldredge‘s book and he talked about the assurance of abundance. And all of a sudden I realized the assurance of abundance is what the promise is that leads us to continue to follow and continue to seek, and continue to go after the Lord when we are in those situations. When we are in desperate times. When we are in oppression, when we were in depression, when we were in difficulty, my leading is the assurance of abundance. And I thought about what does that really mean? And I know that He is as Source, as the cornucopia of all life, He has everything in Himself to give us. He gives us an assurance with His Holy Spirit that we will live in abundance.
Now does that mean we won’t have difficult situations or will be able to avoid hardship? No, but what it does mean is that we will have abundant life through Him. That He will abundantly provide, that He will abundantly move, that He will abundantly bring solutions. That the adventure of life that we are experiencing and longing to see with Him in it, that’s what we get.
So when we seek Him, not just through devotions, not just through even the reading of the Word, those parts are valid those parts are part of it, but seeking Him as a person, seeking Him as the Source, seeking Him for connection, seeking Him for relationship. That’s the true thing. He can use Word reading, He can use devotions, He can use worshiping, He can use all of that but the end is union. The end is connection. The end is being unified with Him, being connected with Him, seeking Him, finding Him and that’s what I’m looking to do.
In hardship, in suffering, in oppression, and sometimes depression, I look to push towards Him. And I have confessed to you all that I have truly been tempted to lay back, and I have laid back a little bit because it has felt like too much, it’s too hard. When life gets too hard it just says, “Oh there’s no problem, you deserve this. That’s really frightening because that’s really what it says. “You deserve a break. You deserve a little time. Go binge watch this series instead of seeking Him, go do some Facebook flipping and turn up to find three hours are gone of your life. It’s not like those are evil in themselves. It’s just the motivation has to be connection with Him first, first and foremost.
It’s not like He doesn’t want us to relax, it’s not a guilt thing, it’s not a shame thing, there’s no shame in this, it’s relational. It’s a blessing. It’s something that the Lord is wanting to show you, to bring you into and not shame you for not going there. The vital necessity, the required vital necessity, that we need Him, that we need that connection, that we need that relationship, that we need to be connected with our Creator to engage our own divine DNA. The spiritual DNA that we’ve been given with our connection into Him, He gives us the path. He gives us the direction and He is with us. God with us, Emmanuel. That’s beautiful!
So today as I’m sitting here thinking about the assurance of abundance, I know who the Abundant One is and I know what He wants is connection with His children. Relationally He wants us to look to Him, to seek Him, to find Him and I love Him. He doesn’t do that as a taskmaster. He doesn’t shame us to say, “Oh well, you stupid, you didn’t read your Bible again today!” or “Stupid, you didn’t worship today!” It’s not what it’s about. He’s not looking to shame us, He’s looking to connect with us. So that’s what I’m gonna do today and that’s what I’m celebrating because it’s a beautiful thing. The Creator of the universe wants to commune with me, wants to commune with us and wants to be unified with us and show us the assurance of abundance, as being the Abundant One. So I hope y’all are doing well. I love y’all and I will talk to you soon.

Temptation to be Passive in Stress
Episode #839
01/08/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
When life becomes too difficult, the enemy tempt us to walk away from our Solution, which is Jesus.
Hey guys! So I’m back home and actually getting ready to go next week down to Florida to see Charles and my parents. It’s gonna be an interesting trip. I’m really looking forward to it. But today I wanted to come and talk about something. In my last podcast, I was talking about being active. About actively bringing in the Kingdom. About not laying back passively and having the bludgeoning of man come against us and just run us over. But that we are to be active. That we’re to be active in prayer, that we’re to be active in how we handle all these situations.
You know when life becomes too difficult, the enemy tempt us to walk away from our Solution, which is Jesus. It’s not a overt thing, it’s very covert. As I’ve been going through some overwhelming situations in the last couple months, the temptation has been for me to lay back my passionate pursuit. To just lay back, to settled back, to rest. Life has said, “It’s too much just rest!” And that’s the enemy’s temptation. The enemy’s temptation of me is to not do my daily disciplines, to not pursue the Lord as a truly long to do.
And so the enemy is trying to covertly just get me to slowly, lay back, slowly lay down discipline, slowly…read the Word less, pray less, just rest because it’s too much. “Everything is too much and you need rest Just relax! Don’t wake up early in the morning to spend time with God, just relax!” And that has been the temptation. The temptation is, this is too much. I’m due a little ease, a little laid backness. But I know that that is never going to be the case.
The Lord wants me to take an active position in relationship with Him. He’s not wanting me to go do great exploits and work. He’s not looking for my performance, but He’s looking for my relationship. He’s looking for me to stay connected. He’s looking for me to remain unified and in union with Him. And oddly the difficulty of life, the trials of life, tempt me to step back and not pursue that. And that’s just not acceptable. I can’t do that. I cannot lay back and start easing my walk just because it’s difficult, just because it’s hard, just because I am in a stressful situation.
I mean logically we can go and say oh well if you’re in in the great need, you need to seek Him harder, further, more. But that’s not what the temptation is. The temptation is just to sleep a little longer, just rest. “Oh don’t you need to watch some Netflix, don’t you need to look at Facebook some more? Just take it easy! Why are you stressing yourself out.”
But I know that what is my vital necessity and what the need of my heart is, is that I would seek Him more. That I would look to Him more. Not in performance. Again, I’m not looking to do things, I just need to be a relationship with Him. I need to be connected with Him and that’s how I’m pushing back the enemy right now.
I talked about in the last podcast the bludgeoning of man and the schemes of man and how the financial systems, the political systems, the cultural systems are all coming against us. And at times it feels like you want to retreat. Go off and retreat, get away from all that, don’t get the fight. But I know that that’s not what the Lord’s asking us to do. I know the Lord’s asking us to pursue Him. To go forward, to actively engage Him in prayer and in communion. It’s relational.
That’s what I’m gonna do and I never want to take the passive role. I always want to be moving forward. It doesn’t necessarily mean I have to be doing things, what it does mean is my heart has to be engaged and that’s where I’m going. I’m gonna engage my heart even in the stress, even in the troubles. I’m going to seek Him and I’m gonna find Him because He wants to be found and He wants to be sought and He wants to remain connected with me and that’s beautiful.
So I love y’all. I appreciate you and I will be talking to you soon.

Boundaries of God Versus Schemes of Man
Episode #838
01/01/2023
Walk and talk with John Enslow
The schemes may come and go, but ultimately the boundaries of God are set and will do what He is gonna do.
Hey y’all, I am in Canmore, Alberta Canada, visiting my brother Myles for Christmas and New Year’s. He invited me to come up and I had opportunity to utilize some points and stuff so I said, “Why not!” So I came up here and the vistas and the beauty of Canmore is just outstanding!
The first night we came in. I went into my hotel room, it was dark, we had gotten here late and I basically went to bed. I woke up the next morning and I opened up the windows and the windows revealed THAT. And I was like (gasp) oh my gosh and I was just blown away just the view that I was able to see was just amazing. I was like Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! So I was excited. I was so excited to be here and to have that opportunity to see these these beautiful Rockies. These are the Rockies in Canada. Who knew that the Canadians had Rockies as well. But they do and my brother Myles reminds me on a regular basis. These, these are all Rockies!
I just want to come to you today. Looking at these majestic mountains, looking at the borders of these mountains, the border of the mountain ranges. It reminded me of the scripture Jeremiah 5:22. It says, “I the Lord define the ocean’s sandy shores as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves made toss and roar, but they could never pass the boundaries, I set.” So I’ve questioned the Lord on that, because I’ve said often, the boundaries don’t feel set sometimes Lord. Man and the schemes of man and the subterfuge of man’s activities, often feel overwhelming, often feel more in power. Political systems, financial systems, cultural systems. The wave right now of anti-God, anti-Christian, the wave is coming against us. The political, the financial, the cultural onslaught coming against us seems like it is overtaking the boundaries and borders of God. That we as Christians are being overwhelmed. I felt that.
So I asked the Lord, OK, so tell me. Can You explain to me about what this is and what’s going on and how are You, Lord over lords and God over gods? And how are the boundaries not pushed when it seems like they are pushed? And I get tremendous security and safety in the fact that I know that He is sovereign. That things happen based on God and that He is overall, and that man is not, and political leaders are not, and financial planners are not the end result. They are not the end of the story. The schemes may come and go, but ultimately God has His say, and God will do what He is gonna do.
So I am looking at all this and I am knowing that I wrote the book Sovereign Touch, and I know that I talk about political systems, I know I talk about cultural systems, I know talk about the abusive man, I know I talk about all these things and I show, how is sovereign touch can bring glory and wonder and majesty out of the roughest and toughest times of our lives. That out of the greatest crisis can come His most awesome glory because He is sovereign. And I’m excited about that.
I was at a church the other day, and I heard a sermon about the season that this pastor believes we’re in. And he says that he believes that we’re in a season of hand-to-hand combat. That we have to be utterly and completely reliant on the Holy Spirit in this moment. I agree completely. And he also says that we have to live as well trained and well disciplined men and women of God. And I agree with that totally. We’ve been prepared for this. There’s been a preparing for a long time, to go through exactly what we’re going through, right this very minute. None of this, none of what is happening changes the plans of God, changes the course of God. It’s like these mountains. So you have these mountains behind me. These mountains behind me and you look at that and they haven’t changed. There may be some shifts but this mountain ranges has been here for eons. As we’ve developed our country, these were here and in the decline of our country these will be here. The Lord is going to be Lord over all, including schemes of man, the plans of man. So the question may be, OK so if all these schemes are happening, do I just have to endure and persevere through the bludgeoning of man? And I don’t believe that’s the case. I don’t believe that that’s what we’re called to do. I believe that were called to be active in our training for reigning and ruling. We are active as ambassadors of Christ. We aren’t on the tail being wagged, we are the head.
Our prayers with our Holy Spirit and our Father, are more powerful than any of the schemes of man. That’s beautiful! That’s absolutely beautiful. We don’t have to fear man. We don’t have to fear his schemes. None of that. This world that He created, we can actively be a part of the solution. We are the head. We are the head because He is Lord. We are the head because He is master. He is God and we follow Him.
Today I’m taking a position in an among all the subterfuge of man all the schemes of man and I’m gonna take an active position, a position of prayer mom, a position of love, a position of power. That’s what we called to as men and women of God were called to a position of power. I hope you’ll join me in this. I’m really excited about what this pastor was sharing it was dynamic because often we can feel overwhelmed. Often we can feel put upon. But the bludgeoning of man is not the end of the story. I am not called just to endure, just to be, just to just to survive. I’m called to bring in the Kingdom and that’s what I’m gonna do. I love y’all God bless y’all and I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these beautiful scenes.
Boundaries of God Versus Schemes of Man – Episode #838 – Shulamite PodcastNone of what is happening in the schemes of man change the plans of God. The boundaries of God are set as is the course of God. It’s like these mountains, firmly set.

The Joy of Transcendence, Divine Appointment
Episode #837
12/18/2022
Walk and talk with John Enslow
The moment is sometimes the doorway to transcendence as a divine appointment.
As I’m going through looking at the moments and trying to discover the moment and be in the moment, I have to realize that the moment, sometimes is the doorway to transcendence.
Hey guys, I just want to do a quick check in with y’all. I wanted to talk about a reality and a dynamic in the Kingdom that is so amazing and so beautiful. There is a transcendence to the Body of Christ that goes beyond time. I’ve been talking about the moment, and I’ve been talking about on the blog living in your moment, being present in your moment, and being connected in that moment. That the power in the presence of God is found in your moment, not in your past, not in your future. Though He is the Lord of both, you connect with Him and you meet with Him currently. That’s a child. So as I’ve looked at that and I thought that through, there’s a dynamic that happens in the Body of Christ that’s transcendent and where to share what I’m seeing and what I’m experiencing.
When you meet a body member, when you meet someone in the body that the Lord is really connecting you with, there’s a transcendence in that meeting. I did that with Charles. When I met him there was something that happened transcendently that I knew him and we were connected in a union that was quite a part from what was obvious, because I just met him. So how can I have this huge connection? What I’ve learned is that God will bring people into your life, and there will be a transcendent union that you experience with them, that goes beyond logic, it goes beyond reason and you are just unified. You have a union in the Spirit and you are just connected. There’s a divine connection!
So I am constantly looking for divine appointments. I always want to go where is the Holy Spirit? And where is my divine appointment? And it could be walking on the trail and you could have a divine appointment or I could be going to the grocery store or could be a phone call. I have moments that I know that the Holy Spirit is there and that He’s orchestrating those moments. And because I’m in my moment, you have a divine eternal nature of the moment, and it feels like a divine appointment. It’s an appointment that God has set up in eternity past and present and future that you have that moment right then and you’re able to experience something eternal in that moment.
But what I see in the transcendent Body of Christ is… And I’ve had this with my brother Tony. You make a connection and there is some thing that happens. It’s just something that happens that your connection is not based on the moment, you feel like you’ve known them for all your life. And it’s because in the transcendent Body of Christ, there is no past or future, it’s the moment. But the reason why there’s no past and future is because He set something up a long time ago. Literally all you’re doing once you meet them is discovering the details of the story that they walk through. It’s not about your connection. It’s about the fact that you’re discovering their story. All I’m doing is learning who you are and what you’ve been through. But I already know you. That’s when the Holy Spirit ignites hearts in a union of Himself where He’s made a divine connection. It’s a transcendent union.
With Charles, I’ve gotten with him I can sit with him is like I’ve known him all my life. It’s like he’s been there all my life and there’s a unity and a connection and a free flow of love and life because, I’m not just getting to know him, I’ve known him forever because it’s transcendent. I’m just gonna learn the story details and he’s gonna learn my story. And with Tony same thing.
So as I’m going through looking at the moments and trying to discover the moment and be in the moment, I have to realize that the moment, sometimes is the doorway to transcendence. Where you are literally able to experience the eternal plan in your moment because your presence because you’re there in your moment, you can experience the transcendence, and be unified with other believers in the Body of Christ. I know most people probably experience this. It’s just some thing when you see it and you’ve experienced it and you see it and you see what’s actually going on in the heavenly realm it’s just lift your heart. It just lives your your spirit and it lifts your your faith in what He’s able to do in the moment. I mean how in the world can He knit like a huge quilt the past, the future and the present all in a moment where you meet someone in a divine appointment? It’s just gorgeous! I want more of those moments. I want to be unified with the Body of Christ. I want to be unified with other believers that we experience through each other Him—His life, His expression, His love, His everything. I’m just really excited about that.
This part of this experience in transcendent divine appointments has really untangled a lot of shame. A lot of self-doubt experience that I have experienced in my life. Because all if a sudden I realize there’s something far greater happening in my life and in others lives then just what I can see.
I’m in the process of right now finishing up my book on on the will of God and how to know the will of God and it’s many benefits. I believe is the books is going to be called His Will Alone. I’m finishing that up I’m working with an editor and finishing that up. But the next thing I’m going to, and the thing that I’m gonna start on in the blog GetalongwithGod.com is that I want to explore overcoming shame. There’s so many things that shame us in this life. But I know that the Holy Spirit.. shame is just deadly. It’s fear and it’s a deadly, and I want to destroy shame. I have been destroying shame and experiencing life as I have destroyed shame. And I want to go into that and then I want to release this book or booklet. I hope it’s a book of how to overcome shame, because I am witness to so much shame in believers. It’s past stuff. It’s bringing their past and having that shame control them, control their life, control their hearts, control their decisions, and I want to destroy shame. I want to join in with the Holy Spirit, who does not condemn us, and does not shame us.
We experience life with Him. We experienced love with Him. We experience joy with Him. Shame is just destructive! So I hope y’all will join me over there at GetalongwithGod.com to look at the overcoming shame topic. And I don’t know podcast wise. I don’t know where I’m gonna go and what I’m going to talk about but this today, the transcendence of the divine appointment of Union with the with believers. It’s just a glorious thing. I’ve had people that I’ve called the ministry and we’ve just made a connection and it’s been church. It’s been beautiful! People that I don’t know that I’m not going….WOW! I am realize there’s something going on here that we are experiencing church but also, there is something transcendent in this moment. I think that’s one of the gifts that God gives us. That the joy of transcendence, that joy of experiencing body life in a transcendent way. It’s the unity in the Spirit and it’s life. It’s teeming with life and it’s bubbling forth with life. That’s what I wanna experience in this life and I know most people do as well. So I love y’all. I appreciate you listen and I will be back in touch soon.

Temples of Dan and Bethel
Episode #836
12/11/2022
Walk and talk with John Enslow
Our current culture of church has experienced the Dan and Bethel problem and we often don’t know we’re in it
Hey guys, so I had a beautiful brother, a number of weeks back, visit me from Wisconsin. His name is Tony. And we had just a great time connecting and talking together and just kinda opening our hearts up and it was amazing. But He said something to me that has pierced my heart and I wanted to share it with you. It is something that has just stuck. It pierced and stuck. So you know occasionally you’ll have a word that comes to you and then you just can’t shake free from it. It hangs. And then you start seeing it everywhere. Well that’s what this word that he was sharing with me, did for me. So I want to share with you because it has really, really impacted me and I feel like it’s so key and so clearly a word for this moment. The Lord really spoke this to him and ignited it in his heart and then you shared it with me. And I wanted share it with you.
So the word was about Dan and Bethel. Dan and Bethel were in the kingdom of Israel. They were two cities and the king at that time established two temples for the people to go worship in. It sounded like an amazing idea. He had the best intentions. He didn’t want the people of the kingdom of Israel to have to travel down to Jerusalem to worship. This sounded like an amazing idea. But like many of our amazing ideas, it didn’t pan out. Quite the contrary, it backfired!
In this day, in this time, in this season… Tony really showed me how our current culture of church has experienced the Dan and Bethel problem and we often don’t know we’re in it.
What happened with Dan and Bethel is, there were two temples where the service was the exact same. Where they were looking like they were doing everything in order. But the problem was the presence of God was absent. So you had three identical services, but only one, only one maintained the integrity of God’s design, which was to be around and to dwell in an among His presence…in His blessing.
So how does that relate to our current day? Well as Tony and I discussed it, he really showed me how a lot of churches go through the motions, they go through the activity, they sing the songs, they preach the message, they look like they’re doing it the right way. But what is absent is the present and the life, the exchanged life.
As I’ve written in The Great Exchange without the indwelt presence, there is no life. There may be action, there may be performance, but is there of the purposes and the pleasure of God? I don’t think so! Everything that shows is that it just keeps people in a trap thinking that they’re doing right all the while not doing right. That’s tragic to me. Here’s another thing that we discussed. Dan and Bethel, those fails churches that appear to be doing the work without the Holy Spirit, without the presence of God, are dedicated and devoted to keeping that system going because it’s all I have. I have been shocked at this message and I’m now seeing it everywhere. It’s just like I wrote in my book The Great Exchange. If it’s not His Life, it’s not life. If He isn’t the author and the performer of the life, then it’s man masquerading and attempting to perform without Him. And that just doesn’t work.
That message on the exchange life has just impacted my heart so deeply because I have made false fire. I have struck a match and called it God. And it has never worked out well for me. It has always left ultimate devastation and it’s been death. But as I have surrender to the Holy Spirit, and as I have surrender to the Spirit of Christ, and allowed Him to maintain my life, to live my life, and to present my life. As I’ve gone in as a shell, opening my heart and giving Him free reign to do what He wanted to do, fruit has been the result. Eternity has been the result. And that’s what I’m looking for. That’s what I’m longing for. And that what I know that God wants. He wants His Son’s Life to be multiplied and to be projected and to be performed. Not our life, not our good thinking, not our best intentions. Like the king of Israel he had great intentions, but the problem was it was falsehood and it led people down a path thinking that they were bringing pleasure to God, all the while not bringing pleasure to God. Because they weren’t going, according to His plan and His purpose.
So I wanted to share this with you because I have been so impacted by this message. I’ve been so impacted not only to write a book about it but also now to have a brother come and bring me further evidence that I did not have. An evidence of the false workshop that appears real. How incredible is it that His heart is so that we would experience Christ’s Life that He will bring multiple resources, multiple examples, multiple facets, multiple people to bring that message forth, so that we can see it in reality. We can experience it in reality. So as I walk out this life, I resist and withdraw from the Dan and Bethel model and I want to go towards the exchanged life. The holy life, the real life.
If you have any interest in this message, I’m gonna be putting up a coupon code for my book and we’re gonna use it as just “exchange”. If you will use that coupon code at check out and you can go below and go to the link and click it. If you like the book, I want you to get a copy of it because the messages is teaming with life and I’m so excited about it. And I would love for you to have the opportunity to experience that book. Use the discount code at checkout exchange and you can get a discount on the book today.
I bless you. I thank you for listening and I hope this encouraged you. It is been quite a message that I’ve just not been able to shake free from nor do I want to. Because I believe that in this time we need the real, we need a genuine, we need the Life of Christ to be living the life not the falsehood of Dan and Bethel. So God bless you. I love you and I hope this encouraged you.

Vague versus Specific
Episode #835
12/4/2022
Walk and talk with John Enslow
When the Lord brings something to me to deal with, it’s very, very specific not vague.
Hey there, so I just had an amazing conversation with a brother mine and he is just a great guy. And the things I was saying, he said, “Oh my gosh, that’s amazing!” And I just thought I’d share it with y’all, because it’s just a key. It’s a key and it’s vital about this life and about the enemy, and how he likes to work and how he likes to throw us off. So the differences between being vague and specific. You know when you wake up there in the morning and you have that vague sense of somethings wrong. I’m in trouble or I’ve done something wrong or there’s just something vague that’s happening. There’s just nothing that you can pinpoint on that’s an issue. It’s just literally this sense of something bad.
I’m a very intuitive person so I’ve I’ve utilized that, I’ve utilize my intuition and when I feel some stuff I usually really believe it. But what I realize is the enemy has turn that against me and he will bring a vague sense of somethings wrong, or I’m in trouble Then he throws me off so that I’m not walking in faith, I’m walking in fear.
So whenever I am being chastised, or whenever the Lord is bringing something to me to deal with, it’s very, very specific. So I can always know that if I have something vague, something that’s intangible, something that I can’t put my finger on, something that just is that vague cloud over there, I know that that’s the enemy messing with me. If there’s conviction and the Lord is bringing something to me, it’s very, very specific. It’s very, very key and it’s directed right at it. Also once you deal with that situation, you repent, you pray…it’s over. With the vagueness you can be saying I’m sorry, sorry, sorry, all day long but you’re not not talking about anything specific. So you have this floating problem with fear, doubt, condemnation and that’s just never how God works.
So I just I just wanted to encourage you that the Lord, your Father, your Dad is very, very, very specific in how He wants to deal with you. Very, very specific in what He wants to bring to you. If He has some kind of correction of you, if He has some thing that He’s looking to bring changing you or bring repentance through you, He’s going to be very specific. He’s going to tell you it exactly. That to me is beautiful because that’s caring, that’s loving, that’s nurturing, that shepherding, that’s coming in and being intentional. This vague sensitive of somethings wrong, it just leaves you empty. It leaves you fearful, it leaves you guessing, it leaves your brain running on trying to figure it out and we already know that knowledge, our head knowledge, is not what is gonna do this life. It’s our spirit.
And so when the Lord bring something specific it’s heart to heart. It’s very specific and it’s intentional. It’s intentionally directed to guide you, to shepherd you, to lead you relationally.
I hope this encourages you that the enemy in his schemes, and his plans, and his plots are so destructive to our faith, to our relationship with Christ and he’s always trying to get us to go into the mind and try to figure things out and try to work things out. But I don’t have to do that because the Holy Spirit is very, very, very specific. So I hope that encourages you and I love y’all.
Vague versus Specific – Episode #835 – Shulamite PodcastI can always know that if I have something vague, that it’s the enemy messing with me. God is very specific in what He brings me.
