This was the hallmark of what has been a busy offseason for a team coming off of a disappointing conclusion to their previous season. It's a bit surreal that this has actually occurred given how much of daily sports conversation involved this particular topic. The good news is that the "trade talks" can now be put to bed.Is there bad news in this transaction? How does Matt feel about the compensation and other key moves that the Jets have made? The season ended as it began for the Jets. With an L and Joe Flacco under center. What a strange, tumultuous and disappointing way to end what's been a season of ups and downs. Goudreau managed to survive the roller coaster that was 17 games only having cases of motion sickness. With a season's worth of film, Goudreau is here ready to perform an autopsy on Gang Green.How did he feel about watching the football equivalent of bumper-to-bumper traffic? Is there anything to take away from six straight losses to end the year? How did he respond to Saleh and GM Joe Douglas's comments during their exit interviews? Sunday's game against Detroit gave the Jets multiple chances to win, but it was a collective team disappointment. Every facet of the team contributed in some way to the final defeat by the score of 20-17. Goudreau did indeed watch the game in full and decided to tape his show a day earlier than you are accustomed to.Rest assured; this show is not going to be a meltdown of December proportions. Instead, consider this a therapeutic expulsion of frustration on the part of your host. It wasn't Christmas cheer by any means but you taking the time to listen is a great Holiday gift.
