This organization’s purpose is to guide typically fatherless boys from seventh or eighth grade through high school to prepare them in their journey from boys to men. Being a mentor for Boys to Men is an in depth process. Mentors attend a workshop called RTF, reclaiming your teenage fire. The goal for the program is to gently guide the boys through their journey to manhood rather than tell them what to do. This gives the boys an opportunity to really feel heard and accepted for who they are. Right now in real estate there is a big market shift and sellers are wishing they had sold back in the spring so that they did not have to worry about the rising interest rates. However, if properties are priced correctly the market is pretty similar to what was being seen back in 2016 to 2018. It is important to keep expectations realistic and to re-adjust as the market does. When it comes to surviving these market shifts, there are two important pieces of advice that Jessie and Kara have. The first is to trust your own gut and not make decisions entirely based on what others are saying. The second is to network in person, because when you connect with people in person and really build those relationships, they can benefit you in so many ways going forward.

“We grew up on welfare, food stamps. My parents gave up everything, but we were so rich with love that we lived a very happy, fulfilled life,” shares Masud Sarwary, CEO of Foundation Escrow.
