E'Monte Thornton and Jose Juarez sit down and chat about one of their favorite teachers--Mr. Mann. He is a much beloved 6th grade math teacher known for the way he engages the students through games and competition while also keeping his class challenging!
On this episode student, Zechariah Sydnor sits down with Chattanooga's News Channel 9 host, Greg Funderburg, to talk about perseverance and resilience. Tune in to hear all about where Mr. Funderburg was raised, where he went to college, and the lessons he learn along the way to becoming a successful news anchor here in Chattanooga. He even gives some advice to those of us who are interested in going into the media and journalism industry.

Devin got to sit down with some pretty cool people this week. Jimmy & Dee Haslam are known for many things. For starters, they own the NFL team the Cleveland Browns as well as the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer. On top of being successful business executives, they care deeply about the next generation and making sure all students are set up for success in the future. Come listen in as Devin asks them questions about college and facing difficulties in life.
This week hear from student, Kendell Vicente Peruch and his story of his life in Guatemala and his travels to the United States. He recounts the mountains he lived by, the school he went to, and the not so easy journey of immigrating to the United States. Mr. Haslam and his wife co-own the Cleveland Browns NFL franchise. In addition, Jimmy Haslam is CEO of the Pilot Flying J truck stop chain, while his wife Dee is the CEO and partner in RIVR Media.
