His work was recognised with the award of an MBE in the 2017 Queen's new-year honour’s list for services to digital inclusion, as well as recently being awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Suffolk department of Computer Science.

She has enjoyed an 18 year career in the Healthcare industry, working in a variety of commercial roles across a number of companies.
