The DDAB guys bring back the full crew this week as they discuss Atlanta's ridiculous offensive output vs the Pirates, the Phillies rough week vs the Marlins and Red Sox, and the Cubs incredible week vs the Nationals and their rivals the Cardinals. They then jump into a discussion about the incident on 5/17/21 with Yermin Mercedes hitting a home run on a 3-0 count despite receiving the take sign. We look at Tony LaRussa's response to the incident as well as his response to Mercedes being thrown at by the Twins. The guys then discuss baseball's "Unwritten Rules" and how they play a role in this. They then review player responses to the incident along with comments from the Facebook page. After this they look at some Negro League throwback uniforms that were worn along with the new "City Connect" uniforms worn by Miami. They take a look back at the hot players of the week as well as hot teams. They discuss their favorite ballpark snacks as well as notable moments they witnessed at games. They end the episode by looking ahead at the upcoming week.

It's another 2 man crew this week as Andrew and Jason discuss the Braves, Cubs, and Phillies. They discuss the Braves getting swept by the Blue Jays despite mostly good starting pitching, then the solid bounce back series against the Brewers where their offense surges back. They look then at the Phillies and their good start vs Washington before loosing the weekend series against the Blue Jays. They also discuss the growing list of Phillies injuries and Vladimir Guerrero Jr's domination over the Phillies pitching. After that they turn to the Cubs and discuss the great pitching duels in the mini series with the Indians before looking at the Cubs domination of the Tigers during the weekend series. They look at the tough week from the Orioles, how the Nationals bounced back against the Diamondbacks as well as the Mets up and down week. They also took a moment to discuss the horrific hit by pitch injury to Mets Outfielder Kevin Pillar. After the first break they talk about their feelings on the extra innings rules before looking at the big hitting and pitching performances over the past week as well as the hottest teams over the past week. The guys then have fun discussing their favorite baseball movies and records that they think will never be touched. Finally, in the last section, they preview the upcoming weeks for the Braves, Cubs, and Phillies as well as review the Pick'Em results from the previous week.

They also look at how the Phillies started strong last week, but faltered after game 1 in Atlanta. They look at the story of San Francisco Outfield Drew Robinson who made their AAA opening day roster 1 year after attempting to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head. They discussed the possibility that Oakland is being given the ok by MLB to explore possibly relocating out of Oakland and what cities could be possible destination points. They review the big hitting and pitching performers and note that "The Year of The Pitcher" is continuing as 2 no-hitters were thrown last week. Reader Karen asks which mascots the guys would include on their "All Mascot Team", and the guys preview the upcoming week for the Braves, Cubs, and Phillies as well as reviewing the Pick'Em results from last week and choices for next week.

Jason takes a look at the Phillies and the hit by pitch controversy as well as the home run controversy. Did MLB get the replay in the Phillies Mets game correct, and what do the guys think of MLB replay as a whole? Joe is off this week so Andrew and Jason discuss what was a rough week for the Cubs. They continued discussions from last week about the Mets, Orioles, Nationals, and Royals. They also took a look at some completed milestones as well as some potential milestones that players could achieve this season. They took reader Karen's question and gave their opinions on walk-up music. They ended the episode with a preview of the upcoming week for their 3 teams, taking a hard look in particular at Atlanta's all division week including a rematch with the Phillies as well as Chicago's tough schedule this week.
