In Week 4 of Discipleship 103 we continued our series with a discussion on the "Fruit of the Spirit." This fruit (âproduct, result, gain, outcome, harvest) is the manifest evidence one may expect from a life in which the Spirit of God is living and reigning. These qualities are to be found in believers because of the change the Spirit of God has made in them. The word fruit indicates that the issue in this matter is not what man can do. A fruit is not something that is made or done. The âfruit of the Spiritâ are not human products but the result of Godâs Spirit dwelling within men.
The singular - "fruit" of the Spirit, shows that the nine virtues mentioned are not different jewels, but are different facets of the same jewel. In Week 3 of Discipleship 103 we continued our series on "How To Study The Bible" by learning about the "The Interpretive Journey," a 4-step process to biblical interpretation including: 1) Grasp The Text In Their Town; 2) Measure The Width of the River To Cross; 3) Cross The Principlizing Bridge; 4) Apply The Text In Our Town. After this, in preparation for studying the "Fruit of the Spirit," we placed the class in four groups and challenged them to study specific verses in Galatians and use the various resources (commentaries, bible handbooks, etc) to discover the CONTEXT of the verses.Finally, we provided an overview of the epistle of Galatians to help our students understand the immediate context of the discussion of "Fruits of the Spirit," in light of the larger context of Paul's writing to the Galatians.NOTE: From the 36:54 - 1:02:27 mark we are in breakout rooms so there is no recording during that time. In this class in Discipleship 101 we discussed understanding our new "life" and new "identity" in Christ now that we are saved. We examined the terms justification, sanctification, and glorification and the Christian disciples relationship to each one.
Finally we examined the importance of having an "Assurance of Salvation" and the biblical scriptures that detail our eternal security in Christ. We closed by surveyed "5 Reasons Christians Doubt Their Salvation" and how we can overcome those doubts.

In this lesson we will examine the clerical vestments and protocols of: I. Old Testament: What garments were worn by the Levitical/Aaronic Priesthood?
II. Jewish Rabbinical Order: Did Jesus wear Rabbinical Garments?

IV. Modern Day Clergy: What should we wear?
In this lesson we will demonstrate that the sacrament of marriage is the "doing" and the "display" of God! We will examine the biblical background of Holy Matrimony, provide you with pre-marital counseling tools, as well as a template for a wedding ceremony.
In the subsequent lesson we will study what the bible says about death as well as learn about the 5 Stages of Jewish mourning. We will also discover practical ways to provide bereavement care and what things we can and should avoid. Finally, we teach on how to interview a grieving family in preparation for the homegoing/funeral service. Mithras was born of a virgin on Dec 25 in a cave and his birth attended by virgins. Zoroaster was born of a virgin and tempted in the wilderness. Horus was baptized, cast out demons, walked on water and was crucified. Was Jesus copied from these stories? We'll examine these and many more in this teaching!
In Part I we focused on establishing the facts that Jesus, as a historical person, lived on this earth.
