This is a place where you can learn and apply many precious truths revealed in the Bible. The main focus of this podcast is to prepare you for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Preparation entails getting sanctified by God's word and learning to walk with Him. Not every Christian will be invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9); only those who have been prepared to meet the Bridegroom can attend (Matthew 25). Only if we allow Christ to live through us practically, righteous living in submission to God (Rev. 19:8), are we allowed to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb.
In this podcast episode, I present the key and secret on how to live a victorious Christian Life. The video is also available on YouTube - @biblestudyangelo
Why do you need the blood of Christ? Because, essentially, fallen man has three basic problems. Even as a Christian, you still carry around the fallen human life. So day after day, you may still be plagued with these three problems. These three problems involve three parties: God, yourself, and Satan. Toward God, you often sense separation. Within yourself, you often sense guilt. And from Satan, you often sense accusation. These three — separation from God, feelings of guilt, and accusation from Satan — can be three big problems in your Christian life. How can these be overcome? Only by the blood of Christ. -for more free Christian resources visit: biblestudyangelo.com
Brother Pierre joins us again for this incredibly insightful and extremely helpful episode. We continue where we left off last in Episode 13. How does a Christian not fall into legalism while trying to do Christ's commandments? How does a Christian walk by the Spirit? What is the function and purpose of the law? What does faith in Christ truly mean? There are certain questions that many Christians have concerning their Christian life and I believe many of those questions are answered in this episode. - For more free Christian resources or to reach out to us - visit: biblestudyangelo.com
"We are not under law but under grace through faith in Christ". We have heard it before. What does this statement mean? What is the proof of your faith? Acts of love toward your neighbour is a major key. Not merely acts of love toward your brothers and sisters in Christ but acts of love toward strangers. Seeking the highest good of your neigbour at all times. This is the secret. There is no law against this. The difference between a Pharisee and Christian?... Tune in to hear more. This is a continuation of Episode 11 - "Once Saved, Always Saved? Part 2", If you have not listened to Episode 11 (part 1), I strongly recommend that you do so, because episode 12 (this episode) is a continuation of episode 11. A brief summary of what we covered previously is mentioned at the beginning of this episode. Quite a controversial matter is brought up concerning Bible versions in this episode - please do not take offense. It was mentioned to mainly bring to your attention that there are quite stark differences between KJV and NKJV compared to other versions (namely, NIV etc.). This does not mean that you have to buy another BIble if you use another version, and it does not meant that you have to necessarily agree with us. But do take heed at the significance of incorrect Biblical translations and edits.
This is a vitally important podcast. What does the Bible teach concerning this matter? Once saved, always saved is a term that is found in the Bible but the idea somehow has crept into mainstream Christian teaching. In This podcast we explore this matter in great detail. Should you have any questions regarding the any of our podcasts, please feel free to reach out to us on our website: biblestudyangelo.com
This is a heavy word but it has the potential to greatly bless you. This matter is vitally important. Are you ready to stand before the Son of Man when He appears in His glory? Do not simply just shrug it off and assume that you are. It is possible that you are not ready. In this message we explore with Scripture what a Christian needs to know and prepare for in order to be ready to meet the Lord Jesus. May the Lord bless you.
If there is one message you need to hear in your lifetime, it is this one. Whoever and wherever you are. No matter your background or age, race or religion. This message is for you. In this podcast you will come to learn who the Lord Jesus truly is. Some say He was a great man and others a prophet... But who is the Lord Jesus and why does every man and woman need Him?
Understanding and applying what is discussed here will greatly bless you and cause you to grow much quicker in Christ. We look at the parts of man, the tabernacle and then its relation to us and our daily Christian life. Neglect of the most crucial part of our spirit is the cause for a defeated Christian life as well as lack of spiritual maturity.
Please read the following verses before listening:
Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Isaiah 64:6
But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags (a menstrual rag);
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away.
Isaiah 53:10
Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Hebrews 12:28-29
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.
Matthew 5:28-29
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Acts 9:31
Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 10:26-31
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
We need to learn from Scripture on how to wage warfare as Christians. If the Body of Christ does not speak - bind or loose, the wicked forces, witches and warlocks will have the final say. Rise up dear children of God. Walk in the victory of the Lord Jesus and bind and loose (Matthew 16:19; 18:18). God needs us to pray and intercede - to wage warfare in the spiritual realm for God's purpose for His kingdom on this earth.
Scripture Reading:
Genesis Chapters 16-17
Hebrews 11:6
Ephesians Chapter 5
Colossians 3:16
2 Peter 1:19
Matthew 24:48
Matthew Chapter 25.
In light of the title, can Christ call off the wedding? Can Christ get married to a harlot? Christ will only marry a bride who has made herself ready (Matthew 25; Revelation 19). Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready. We are engaged to Christ but not yet married to Him. Every true lover of the Lord Jesus lives a pure life before God.
Genesis 3:1Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”
Pay attention to Satan's question here. Did God really say?
He uses it all the time in our thoughts and our reasonings when it comes to his deceitful tactics. - It is so easy to give into his temptation only because the serpent manages to dupe us/trick us into believing that God does not actually mean what He says in His word. He does not attack directly by being obvious - Note how the dragon's tail sweeps a third of the stars (Rev. 12:4). Most expect a direct attack from Satan but his preferred method of attack is indirect, subtle and hidden (hence his tail sweeps the stars out of heaven). The Devil schemes by causing you to compromise with the word of God - not majorly at first but bit by bit, thus giving him legal ground access into your life to kill and destroy. The Devil himself knows that God is righteous and that God will execute all that He said He would. All that the Devil has to do is trick man into thinking that God does not really mean what He says in His word - the Bible. - in other words - "Did God really say...?"
The moment the Devil can cause man to doubt the word of God, the Devil then can go in for a death blow and corrupt with the purpose of ultimately killing a believer in Christ, physically or spiritually.
Oh! If man would just learn from this. God means what He says in His word. If God tells us something we MUST believe it, submit to His word and even love His word. Only those who love the truth (2 Thes. 2:10) do not fall away in the last days.
If at any point you notice either through your thoughts, lusts, social media, television, school etc. that the word of God is under attack in your life with the ultimate purpose of causing you to doubt the word of God - even if it is a little bit - we should do the following:
2 Cor. 10:5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.
The Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul commands us here to cast down, destroy and tear down any and everything that challenges the authority of God's word in our life.
Had Eve done this in the garden of Eden, Satan, the serpent, would have had no chance to deceive her. Instead, she entertained his suggestion and thus the fall of man occurred.
The bottom line dear brothers and sisters who are sanctified in the Lord Jesus Christ:
First we should know God's word well. The devil can only successfully twist the word of God, because a believer is ignorant of the divine revelation of God as revealed in the Holy Bible. How will you carry out 2 Cor. 10:15 (casting down anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God), if you do not even know what the true knowledge of God is through the Scriptures. Know the word of God well! - Colossians. 3:16.
Second, be very sure and know with all your heart that whatever God says He will do, it will be done. God is righteous and He cannot lie. If God says that you will not inherit the Kingdom of God because of fornication (pre-marital sex), adultery, drunkenness, reviling, homosexuality etc.- Then you will not! Period. Please read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10:
1 Cor. 6:9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. - Please read furthe
There is much more to say about this.
Episode 2 - It is so important to be obedient to the word of God. Our obedience to the word of God is the purification of our souls. Our obedience to the word of God according to the Lord Jesus, is true love toward Him. Because you love Jesus, you keep His commandments (John 14:21).
1 Peter 1:22-23Since you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
1 Peter 1:7-9
7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for unbelievers,
“A stone which the builders rejected,
This became the chief cornerstone,”
8 and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this they were also appointed.
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
John 14:21, 23
21 The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”
23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.
