We were designed to love and to be loved, but how do we navigate relationships while trusting in the Lord's provision in today's world?
In this episode, my friend Sitara shares nuggets of wisdom on why we desire to be loved, and how we can renew our desires for lesser love by bringing our deepest longings to the Lord and finding our needs met in Him with fullness and abundance.
"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)

Hello friends! In today's episode, we get real & raw and pretty deep into my relationship with food from childhood to now and my struggle with letting go & choosing freedom.* I believe sharing stories is an honest and unique way to show others they are not alone, and every story is worth telling. From struggling with body image and hitting rock bottom to learning skills and tools in the recovery process, I gained a new sense of hope and respect for the body I've been given. I know it's long, but this is it, folks!

*If you are find listening to this leads to uneasiness, anxiousness, and harmful thoughts, please be honest, forgiving, and truthful with yourself - you are okay right where you are and you are not alone. I am sharing my story to show others they are not alone and that there is hope to be found amidst the pain, fear, and doubt. The decisions I made to take control of my body & the food I consumed were destructive and only caused more harm down the road. Sometimes hearing other people's stories causes me to compare my struggles with others, or feel tempted to follow down that path again, but from experience, it doesn't work out as well as it seems. Be you. Do you. Keep trusting. Keep fighting. Keep healing. Keep choosing love & joy & freedom.

Don't let the fear of not being enough keeping you from living into the life you are well beyond deserving of. You can, my friend, you are meant for more.

I don't have it all right, I am imperfect and still learning, but I hope you find light in this message and know you are not alone on this journey toward recovery. You are worth it, you are worthy, and you are loved wholly and fully. Please let me know if there is anything you may want to talk about or need! Hello friends! My experience of feeling full one day led me to contemplate what fullness is and what it means to be full in other regards besides food & eating. Reflecting on this topic and in this moment made me realize that fullness is more like a state of being - it is completeness and satiety. I hope this reflection finds you well and gives you something to think about when you are experiencing & questioning fullness along your recovery journey.

Remember, you are loved & you are worthy of more than you know.

Much love, Haley

Hello friends! Welcome to another episode! I am starting a series of poems written by me, driven by the reflections in the big and little moments in between. Today I recite "an anthem against comparison," something I wrote in a time of being done with measuring myself against others & realizing comparison was no longer serving me.

I always have to write down the words flowing through my head, and I've decided it's time to share them! I hope you enjoy this idk how many part series of encouraging words and reflections in the form of poetry. Please take a listen anytime, anyplace, and let these words be encouraging to you on your unique, amazing journey.

Hello friends!! Today I reflect on what I would tell my younger self who was caught up in self-doubt, insecurity, and worry about my appearance and how others saw me despite my positive and energetic personality. It's easy to tell others good advice, but hard to take it for ourselves. I quickly introduce the 7 things I'd say to 10-year-old Haley at the beginning of the episode before I unpack the context and meaning behind each point.  My hope is that you find inspiration in these lessons I've learned along the way through ED recovery, growing up, and just living life! I touch on topics like comparison, perfectionism, fear of failing, learning to let go, and living life to the fullest.   If you have any questions, topics you'd like me to discuss, or just wanna say hey please reach out!
