GeoMaxing: Recent Episodes

The GeoMaxing Podcast is a series of conversations with people who chose to live a nomadic lifestyle. At different speeds and different frequencies, one country at a time. Some are Digital Nomads, others prefer to be called part-time ex-pats while some prefer the term Slow Travellers. These interviews aim at sparking curiosity, the way such stories peaked my interest to a point where I became a GeoMaxer myself. Whether you're looking to relocate or not, there will be lessons for you to draw from each guest's unique GeoMaxing story.

While my nomadic journey started with Vangile, my Podcasting journey started with Izzy almost one year ago.

In this interview, Izzy tells us about her nomadic journey, her approach to remote work, her unique experience as an artist, exploring her queer identity thanks to Chiang Mai's vibrant queer scene.

In August 2021, Izzy Yoma launched a series of Resume Building Workshops in the Chiang Mai Digital Nomad Girls group. The Workshops were geared towards equipping participants with tools and strategies to help them land remote jobs.

Her initiative to help alleviate the stress of mass layoffs that online educators had to go through, received overwhelming response all while she was preparing to leave Thailand after calling Chiang Mai home for two years.

I knew then, I absolutely had to have her on record even if I was nowhere near ready to start.

Here is where you can find her:

Vangile Makwakwa helps women of colour heal their ancestral money trauma and live their best lives through her platform Wealthy Money. She's also the author of Mind, Heart, and Money, a Real Estate Investor, an Angel Investor, and Cohost of the Property Magicians Podcast.

Her work helped many go debt free and thrive in their businesses and personal finances.

To me Vangile is a possibility model, one of the bright minds that inspire me daily with the way she lives and run her businesses and her openness to share her wisdom.

In this interview we talk about her unique approach to multi-city living, productivity, business, and personal coaching.
