A focus on American and Canadian policing. I started this youtube podcast to provide insight into why police do what they do; breaking down policing videos. I soon realized I have a story to share about the real policing world. Police bosses, management, the recruiting process. RCMP Entrance Exam is Racist. The RCMP Commissioner wants to weed out systemic racism in the RCMP. One way to battle racism is to change the RCMP applicant entrance exam. Apparently the test is too difficult for certain groups in Canada. Lower the RCMP Qualifications, make the entrance exam easier is the RCMP's answer to attracting minorities. Police are forced to clean up the garbage that you refuse to fix. Police, RCMP, are constantly criticized on how they respond to calls by Doctors, Politicians, Government. How they respond to mental health calls. But the real problem are these people who refuse to fix the problems that they created. Police wear a lot of hats because of the incompetence of these people. Police are fixing the problems that you refuse to fix. They are cleaning up your mess from the decisions you make and wont make and they are the first to be blamed. The Government loves to use the Police for their misfit ways to control people. Another silly idea that is going to make all Police look like clowns. If I was still a cop I would refuse to stop any citizen for the sake of knowing where they are going; a human rights violation. Covid Roadblocks and a $575 dollar fine if you travel outside your health region. How can this be enforced? What to say if your stopped by police. "Im Lost comes to mind." Vancouver Island residents forbidden to leave the island. Kelowna forbidden to travel to Whistler or Tofino. Designed to stop the spread of covid even though most of the elderly and vulnerable have been vaccinated and saved. They told us to hold the line which we did. They told us the reasons for shutting down the economy and business's was to protect the seniors and they have been protected but there continues to be more restrictions. Snowbirds detained when flying back into Canada even if they have been vaccinated. Covid camps in Canada who would have thought. Its a pure Uttering Threats criminal offence but nobody is talking about this. Why is LeBron James not held to a higher standard? Suspect Pulls Underwear Cop Bodycam. Former Cop Clinton Jaws speaks about the similarities of the arrest of Robert Banks for shoplifting and George Floyd being arrested for fraud. The arrest of George Floyd should have played out this way. Robert Banks had similar symptoms of George Floyd. Banks was arrested on April 11 2021 in the paring lot of Walmart located at 315 Foxon Boulevard by New Haven Police after he ran out of the store with stolen shirts and underwear. Clinton Jaws, Former Police Officer speaks about criminals and civilians making money by resisting arrest. Nearly all Bodycam footage has one thing in common. The bad guy resists arrest. Bad things happen when you resist arrest. Either the bad guys makes a mistake or the police officer. Caron Nazario who was peppered sprayed by Virginia Police Officers when he refused to exit his vehicle. On December 5 2020 Nazario failed to stop for police resulting in a police pursuit, Nazario being peppered sprayed and a police officer losing his job. Nazario is seeking one million dollars in damages.

My initial thoughts of the George Floyd, Derek Chauvin incident that occurred in May 2020 had me convinced a jury would find Derek Chauvin guilty. After watching the trial I am surprised of what I have learned about the investigation and evidence that has been founded by the defense. I find myself learning new evidence each day as the trial lingers that switches my opinion back and forth. Were the police officers actions unreasonable? Possibly. But there is a chance that Derek Chauvin might be found not guilty. Clinton Jaws explains why.

When bad people (sometimes good) do not like the actions of the police/RCMP the CRCC investigates. Apparently there is systemic racism in the policing world but according to their stats, 17000 investigations only revealed 76 people complained they were treated wrongly because of the color of their skin. And we have a systemic issue in Policing? That is 0.44705882352 of people complaining about racism, bias or discrimination. In my opinion that is nil. Zero victims of police racism. The evidence is in and its a fact systemic racism does not exist in the policing world.

Get Your Nuts Off My Hands says bad guy to Police. Raymond GLASS goes nuts when Sergeant Daniel Weaver of Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, arrests him for breach of probation on March 15, 2021. Former Cop, (Clinton Jaws @Clinton Jaws ) breaks down the video and gets a kick out of GLASS. GLASS resisted arrest, uttered threats assaulted police officers and damaged a police car by head butting it. He was touch stunned with the taser and put in handcuffs. Glass was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility and charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Threats to a Law Enforcement Officer, Criminal Mischief over $1,000, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and two counts of Resisting Arrest. He was additionally charged with Violation of Probation for violating the no contact order. He is being held with no bond allowed.

Former Cop, Clinton Jaws, Breaks down a Woman With Pick Axe and Baseball Bat who gets Shot by Police. March 12, 2021, Nashville, Tennessee — Metro Nashville Police. 2800 block of Greer Road. While police were de-escalating Melissa Wooden who was suffering from a mental illness breakdown and brandishing a pick axe and baseball bat the woman's mother comes to the scene driving a scooter and quickly triggers her daughter. Police were forced to shoot only injuring the woman. Melissa Wooden, 33, had made statements that she wanted police to shoot her. Madison Precinct Officers Brandon Lopez, Ben Williams, and Thomas Denenea arrived at the location and were awaiting backup when they encountered Wooden in the front lawn near the road. Officer Williams deployed his Taser which appeared to have no impact. Wooden then came towards Officer Williams with the pick axe and baseball bat. Officer Lopez fired on her in defense of Officer Williams and Wooden’s mother who was nearby. Wooden was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she is in stable condition.

Former cop, Clinton Jaws, Breaks down NYPD Bodycam Shows Domestic Assault Gunfight. The suspect in a domestic violence case entered his home in Queens while cops were there and shot at both cops and the victim. Both cops fell to the ground wounded by bullets, stayed in the fight and continued to fire their weapons ending the threat and saving the victim. officers -- Joseph Murphy and Christopher Wells. The incident happened around 12:45 p.m. on November 24, at a home on 179th Street near 146th Road in Springfield Gardens.
Authorities say a 41-year-old woman had walked into the 105th Precinct to report the domestic violence case, and the officers then accompanied her back to the residence to collect her belongings.

Daytona Beach Police pull their taser triggers 23 times on one man. 22 taser fails. Former cop breaks down video. Anybody Got A Taser? Can be hear. Former cop, Clinton Jaws, gives two reasons why this Warren County Police Officer lives. Deputy Sara Vaught on Feb. 15 2021, was making a welfare check at the residence of Lance C. Runion in the 7800 block of Hunt Club Drive in Deerfield Twp. She stands off to the side of the door waiting for the occupant to open the door. Bad guy opens the door and begins shooting. Vaught fires five shots, the video shows. Three back-up officers went into the house with weapons drawn and secured Runion, who was taken to an area hospital. Vaught was not injured and recently returned to full duty. Runion remains under guard at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Due to his medical condition, investigators do not know when he will be able to make a court appearance on attempted murder and felonious assault charges filed against him.

Former police officer, Clinton Jaws, breaks down police video shooting from December 11, 2020 in Oklahoma; 2100 block of West Hefner rd near Pennsylvania. Bennie Edwards was fatally shot by Oklahoma Police Officers. Was the shooting justified? or unjustified? Did the officer believe the suspect was running away from police or towards police. This shooting led to a manslaughter charge against Oklahoma City police Sgt. Clifford Holman. If convicted, Holman, faces four years to life in prison. Officers were called to a business last December near Pennsylvania Avenue and Hefner Road on reports of Edwards bothering customers. Edwards was armed with a knife. Videos shows shots being fired as he ran at the officer, and also as his back was turned running away from officers. Police said they tried to use both pepper spay and a taser before opening fire. Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.

Former cop Clinton Jaws breaks down police shooting. Cop Shot In the Leg But Wins The Fight. The shooting happened Dec. 18 on Maria Angelica Street in southwest Bakersfield, near McKee Road. The body camera footage captured the shooting from multiple angles. It shows the moment an officer was hit in the leg, and other officers applying a tourniquet to the injured officer’s gunshot wound. When police contacted the man, later identified as Johnathan George Brown, 29, he began to pull a gun from his waistband, according to Bakersfield Police Department. Officers fired at least one rubber bullet at Brown and he started running.
Brown ran past an officer and fired several times, hitting the officer, police said. Other officers chased Brown and fired, fatally wounding him. Another officer was grazed by a bullet and treated for a minor injury.

Former cop breaks down police shooting. NYPD attend a domestic with two dudes. This is how police exit a room with a suspect, the right way. Call my hotline number 604-330-2512. The NYPD released body-worn camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that occurred on February 8, 2019, in the confines of the 7th Precinct. During this incident, Police Officer Nelson Cordova and Police Officer Jagdeep Singh, assigned to patrol in the 7th Precinct and attired in uniform, discharged a combined total of seven shots from their service firearms in the course of a confrontation with an armed subject, later identified as Joshua Rembert-Williams, a 32-year-old male. Mr. Rembert-Williams was armed with a kitchen knife with an eight-inch blade during the incident. The knife was recovered at the scene of the incident during the investigation. On Friday, February 8, 2019, at approximately 6:56 AM, a 9-1-1 call was received reporting that Mr. Rembert-Williams, the caller's husband, had violated an order of protection. The caller also explained that he was trapped in the bathroom because Mr. Rembert-Williams, who was in possession of a knife, was attempting to assault him and threatening to kill him. Police Officer Cordova and Police Officer Singh responded to the call for assistance, arriving approximately ten minutes later. Upon entering the apartment, the officers spoke with the complainant, who informed them that Mr. Rembert-Williams was no longer at the location.
Police Officer Cordova began checking the apartment to confirm Mr. Rembert-Williams was no longer present. While doing so, Police Officer Cordova encountered Mr. Rembert-Williams hiding in a closet. After frisking Mr. Rembert-Williams for a weapon, he was asked to accompany the officers into the hallway to discuss what happened prior to their arrival. While walking through the kitchen area toward the apartment door, Mr. Rembert-Williams opened a kitchen drawer, removed a kitchen knife and ran toward the complainant with the knife raised, saying, "I'm going to kill this bitch." Police Officer Cordova fired four shots and Police Officer Singh fired three shots from their service firearms, striking Mr. Rembert-Williams in the torso, leg, and shoulder, resulting in his demise. The complainant was removed to a local hospital, where he was treated for a slash wound to his left shoulder, a puncture wound to his right temple, and a stab wound to his right shoulder. Police Officer Cordova and Police Officer Singh were equipped with body-worn cameras that were activated during this incident. In April 2020, this case was presented to the First Deputy Commissioner's Use of Force Board. The Board determined that the use of force in this case was justified and within department guidelines.

This critical incident video concerns an officer involved shooting that took place in Pittsburg on January 30, 2021. Early on that Saturday afternoon, Pittsburg police officers were called to the 2900 block of harbor street regarding an Oakland man, 32-year-old Kerdell Lillard, on top of the roof of a business. A cell phone video was taken by a resident at the shopping center. It shows Lillard on the roof of a business with his phone in his hand. When officer arrived, he was no longer on the roof. When Officer Elliott arrived, Lillard was standing next to a pickup truck. After the officer tells Lillard to get on the ground, he reaches into the left rear wheel well of the pickup truck and retrieves a loaded handgun. He then runs. The sound of officer Beltram discharging his service weapon can be heard. Officer Barkley arrived seconds after officer Beltram discharged his service weapon. Upon exiting his vehicle, he immediately radios for paramedics to come to the scene. Officer Barkley retrieves the loaded handgun which was dropped by Lillard after he was shot in the arm.
Other officers can be seen immediately providing medical aid. Officer Beltram arrived and immediately saw Lillard step out from behind another pickup truck. Lillard was holding a gun and pointed it in the direction of officer Beltram who then discharged his service weapon. Officer Beltram's vehicle was equipped with a dash board camera. It shows Lillard appear to put his hands up as if to cooperate. But, he then moves behind the pickup truck while still holding the loaded handgun and then makes a movement in the direction of officer Beltram. Lillard sustained a non-life-threatening wound to the arm. He was taken to the Hospital for treatment and then transported to the Martinez detention facility. On Wednesday February 3rd, the Contra Costa District Attorney filed two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon, ex-felon in possession of a firearm, ex-felon in possession of ammunition, along with enhancements. Lillard remains in custody with $1,000,000 bail.

My RCMP Depot Staffing Interview was a success. I was transferred from Depot to Vancouver Island when I was a cadet at RCMP Depot. It is possible because of my Depot staffing interview. I got what I wanted even though I was told I was living in a dream world. I believe part of the reason for getting my choice was because of my rcmp staffing interview. Former cop breaks down video where Phoenix police save a baby. The Phoenix Police Department released a Critical Incident Briefing (CIB) video that includes information, audio, video and pictures related to an officer-involved shooting (OIS) that occurred in the afternoon of January 9th, 2021.
The incident started at approximately 3:15 p.m., when 911 callers reported a man fighting with a woman at a hotel in the area 7th Avenue and Van Buren Street. The callers also reported that a man was shooting at people and holding a baby hostage.
The second 911 call was from a woman who reported her husband had taken her baby and was shooting a gun.
As the suspect walked out of the hotel and onto Van Buren Street traffic, 911 callers saw the man hold a driver at gun point.
Officers arrived within a minute of the 911 calls and saw the suspect armed and shooting a gun while holding the baby.
Officers told the suspect to drop the gun and he refused. Two other officers arrived to help. An officer armed with his city issued rifle shot at the suspect when he saw the suspect point the gun at the baby and others.
The suspect was injured, and officers immediately ran to the baby and the driver of the white vehicle to move them to safety.
After the shooting, Phoenix Fire personnel responded and transported the suspect to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He has been identified as 37-year-old Paul Bolden.
Officers also learned that the woman, who Bolden was fighting, was his girlfriend and the baby was his son. The baby was not injured during this incident.
The gun which was used by Bolden was also located.
There were no injuries to officers or any serious injuries to community members. The gunfire from Bolden struck nearby businesses.
The officer involved in this shooting is assigned to the Mountain View Precinct and has been with the department for almost four years.

Former Cop breaks down arrest of woman on September 21, 2020 in Hartford, Connecticut. Police wanted to speak to her about her vehicle being listed as "stolen." On Saturday, August 15, 2020, an Officer Involved Shooting occurred on Raymond Avenue and Grandview Street after two PPD officers stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. During the stop, the driver cooperated with officers and admitted he was driving on a suspended license, however, the passenger in the vehicle elected to run away. While running, the passenger removed a handgun from his waistband and an Officer Involved Shooting occurred. The attached Critical Incident Community Briefing is based upon a preliminary review of the incident, which is still under investigation. Additional facts and evidence may be discovered and will be reviewed.
The Pasadena Police Department conducts thorough Criminal and Administrative investigations into all OIS incidents, which include interviews of witnesses and of the involved officers, eyewitness statements, as well as an analysis of video and forensic evidence. After the investigation is complete, a Use of Force Hearing will commence and the Chief of Police will make a final determination whether the officers involved acted within department policy.
This incident is actively being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Pasadena will also initiate an independent third party review.

Former police officer breaks down video. Bad Guy Lives The NYPD released body camera footage of two New York City police officers shooting a knife-wielding man in the East Village on June 4. Police Officer Jillian Suarez and Police Officer Bryan Rozanski, both assigned to patrol in uniform in the 9th Precinct, fired a total of two shots from their service firearms during a confrontation with a subject, later identified as Peyman Bahadoran, a 55-year-old male. The incident began at 6:38 a.m. when Police Officer Suarez and her partner, Police Officer Melissa Brown, entered the deli. Bahadoran began yelling at Officer Brown as he entered the location behind her. He pulled a twelve-inch "Defender Xtreme" knife from a sheath that was attached to the right side of his leg and menaced her with the knife. Police Officer Brown discharged her conducted electrical weapon or "Taser" at Bahadoran.
The Taser probes did not make contact with the subject, rendering it ineffective. Police Officer Brown went behind the counter while Police Officer Suarez moved outside of the deli and requested additional police assistance over her portable radio. Bahadoran directed his attention towards a deli employee and demanded a pack of cigarettes. When he placed the knife on the counter to pick up the cigarettes, the deli employee grabbed the knife and handed it to Officer Brown. Bahadoran confronted Police Officer Suarez, who was pointing her service firearm at him, at the entrance to the deli. Bahadoran shoved Officer Suarez back as he exited the deli. Police Officer Rozanski arrived, along with Police Officer Michael Murphy and Lieutenant Luis Machado, in response to the call for assistance.
The officers commanded Bahadoran to comply, but he reached toward the sheath and then lunged at Lieutenant Machado. Officers Rozanski and Suarez each fired one shot from their service firearms at Bahadoran. Bahadoran suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm and a gunshot wound to the lower back. Police officers on the scene called for medical assistance and applied a tourniquet to his left arm. Bahadoran was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was admitted and treated for his injuries. Police Officers Suarez and Murphy were equipped with body-worn cameras that were activated for this incident. Lieutenant Luis Machado and Police Officers Brown and Rozanski were not equipped with body-worn cameras on this date. Bahadoran was charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Menacing a Police Officer, Menacing 2nd Degree, and Menacing 3rd Degree.

Former police officer, RCMP, explains how officer nearly dies by attempting to taser the suspect first. Discussion about Mental Illness, black lives matter and the RCMP leaders/politicians. On July 2, 2020 Kevan RUFFIN was shot and killed by Officer PRAYER, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. RUFFIN tried to murder the police officer with knives/swords. Even though the shooting was justified the family of RUFFIN was outraged. Mental Illness can be contagious.
The officers, who were not identified, had responded to a domestic incident and found the suspect, Christopher McClinton, 22, sitting in a vehicle.
McClinton reportedly refused to give police identification or get out of the vehicle.
The officers pulled McClinton from the vehicle and he began resisting. As one officer tried to hold McClinton down, the other officer fired his Taser, with one prong hitting the suspect and the other hitting his partner.
The officer struck by the Taser was taken to a hospital for a head injury.
McClinton pleaded not guilty to charges of obstructing official business, failure to disclose personal information and resisting arrest

Dashcam Police Pursuit Spike belt - Lufkin Police STOLEN VEHICLE PURSUIT ARREST: Around 7 p.m. yesterday, an officer saw a silver Chevy Cruz turn onto Frank Avenue from North Raguet Street into oncoming traffic. Seconds later, the officer saw an SUV do the same thing. The driver of the SUV motioned to the officer that they were chasing the car.
The officer caught up with the suspect vehicle on North Raguet Street and attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the driver – later identified as Travis Thorton, 27, of – refused to stop. Thorton continued on North Raguet and crossed into the grass in front of First Christian Church before cutting out onto South First Street at more than 80 mph. Thorton continued on South First/U.S. 59 and turned onto FM 819. He then headed outbound on C C Road toward FM 1818. That is where the officer had to terminate the 11-minute pursuit for safety due to road conditions.
The officer made contact with the other driver who flagged him down. That is when he learned that the suspect stole the car from a repair shop minutes earlier. The shop owner and his son caught Thorton trying to steal wheels from another vehicle. When they confronted him, Thorton jumped in the car, which was there for repairs. He then backed into another vehicle while attempting to flee the scene.
The shop owner’s son pursued the stolen vehicle until he came into contact with the officer. The car was entered into the stolen vehicle database at that time
Around 2 a.m. today, the same officer came upon the suspect vehicle again on North Timberland Drive near Brookshire Brothers. The officer initiated a traffic stop, but Thorton refused to pull over.
Thorton continued north on U.S. 59 toward Nacogdoches at speeds of more than 100 mph. He exited into the DPS weigh station but found the gate locked. He then backed into the officer’s patrol unit and cut through a grassy hill to escape back onto the highway. A short distance later, Thorton used a turnaround to head sound toward Lufkin.
An officer successfully spiked three of the four vehicle tires, dropping pursuit speeds to around 30 mph.
The officer who initiated the pursuit is certified to perform PIT (pursuit intervention technique) maneuvers. The officer pitted the suspect vehicle on North Timberland near Angelina Animal Hospital to prevent further risk to motorists on the more heavily traveled Timberland Drive.
Thorton was taken into custody without incident 17 minutes after the pursuit began.
After being medically cleared, he was taken to the Angelina County Jail on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest.
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the incident.

Female cop shoots man with knife. The Phoenix Police Department has released a Critical Incident Briefing (CIB) video that includes audio, visuals and information related to an officer-involved shooting that happened on June 14, 2020.
The suspect from this incident has been identified as 55-year-old Jon David Brouseau.
The incident happened at approximately 7:45 p.m. in a parking lot near 43rd Avenue and Union Hills in Phoenix.
A 911 caller reported a drunk man armed with a knife was threatening customers inside a grocery store.
Officers from the Cactus Park Precinct responded and saw several people pointing to Brouseau who was now walking around the parking lot.
The officer contacted Brouseau and immediately noticed that he was armed with a knife.
The officer repeatedly told Brouseau to drop the knife. The man ignored the commands and told the officer he would kill her. After almost a minute of walked toward the officer with the knife in hand, Brouseau charged at the officer and she fired her weapon at him.
The incident was recorded not only on body-worn camera from the officer but also on the cell phones of several witnesses.
Additional officers arrived and were able to handcuff Brouseau and get him medical attention.
Brouseau is expected to survive his injuries and will be charged with aggravated assault. There were no other community members injured.
The officer who fired her weapon is assigned to the Cactus Park Precinct and has 1 year of service.
Conclusions about whether the actions of the officers are consistent with department policy and the law will not be made until all facts are known and the investigation is complete.

Bodycam video horse rescued - Breakdown. Police podcast On July 23, 2020 at 1038 hours, Hilltown Police responded to a barn fire in the 1500 block of Hilltown Pike. Minutes later, arriving officers found a large barn with heavy smoke and fire showing. People on scene notified the responding officers that there was still a horse inside of the burning barn. Officer Matthew Reiss and Officer Kristian Hanus immediately entered the barn and rescued the frightened animal, with the assistance of a farm worker. The Hilltown Fire Company and several other area companies arrived a short time later to find the building fully engulfed in flames. In total, fifteen fire companies and six EMS units from Bucks and Montgomery Counties responded to the two-alarm blaze. EMS tended to eight (8) people that required medical attention at the scene. Four (4) of the eight (8) patients were transported to area hospitals. Both officers also received minor injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office and Hilltown Police.

Former police officer talks about incident. The Phoenix Police Department has released a Critical Incident Briefing (CIB) video that includes audio, visuals and information related to an officer-involved shooting that happened on the evening of May 29, 2020.
Officers from the Cactus Park Precinct responded to a 911 call at a liquor store near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The caller indicated a man walked into a liquor store holding a handgun and manipulating the slide.
Surveillance video shows the man outside the store, armed with the weapon. The man was later identified as 22-year-old Omar Luna.
An officer responded to the location and contacted the 911 caller, learning that Luna was walking around while displaying the handgun and making statements about scaring people.
Two additional officers responded, obtaining Luna's description and last known location. They began searching the area and quickly located the suspect walking on a nearby residential street.
Body-worn camera footage shows officers attempting to speak with Luna, but he immediately ran from them.
Two officers got out of their vehicle and ran after him. As Luna was running away, one of the officers saw him remove a handgun from his shorts and swing it in the direction of the officer. Luna continued running and approached the front door of a home, where he fired the weapon as he tried to open the door.
One officer returned fire three times, striking the suspect.
Luna continued into the house as officers tried to contact the others inside to make sure they were safe.
As officers moved residents out of the house, they saw the man sitting on the floor. He told officers he had accidentally fired the handgun.
After the last person left the house, officers had Luna crawl outside where he was detained and provided first aid.
The Phoenix Fire Department transported Luna to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries prior to being booked into the Maricopa County Jail. Luna has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. There were no other injuries to community members or officers.
The officer who fire his duty weapon is a 23-year-old assigned to the Cactus Park Precinct. He has 2 years of service.

July 14, 2020 Eaton County Body cam and surveillance video have been released by Eaton County Sheriff's Office, which show a Michigan deputy shooting a suspect who was accused of stabbing a man over a dispute about wearing a mask. Eaton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to assist the Michigan State Police in locating a male suspect who stabbed and caused serious injury to a person at the Quality Dairy store on Lansing Road in Windsor Township at 6:47 am, and had fled the scene in a vehicle. An area broadcast describing the suspect and vehicle was put out. At approximately 7:13 am an Eaton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed the suspect in Delta Township driving north on Jerryson Dr. and made a traffic stop. The footage shows the suspect, Sean Ruis age 43, holding a knife and screwdriver approaching the deputy, who repeatedly commands him to drop the weapon. When he fails to comply, the video shows her shooting several rounds before quickly clearing the jammed gun and firing again. Ruis eventually drops to the ground. Ruis was taken to the hospital and died during surgery. The involved Deputy, a 22-year veteran, has been placed on Administrative Leave.
