First Zoom interview was more than a success!
In this episode we talked with two of our faves, Dan and Jordan Feenstra: adventurers, writers, and encouragers extraordinaire. They gave us some great advice and insight into what contentment means to them as they shared the wild ride of their personal journey and where the Lord has led and guided them. Their hearts for Christ shine bright and their story is a powerful testimony to the goodness of God and the abundant gift of Jesus.

The holidays can be a beautiful time of celebration and all of the positive warm feelings. They can also be a time of acute grief as we miss people who are no longer with us, reflect on the past year, and feel the pain of specific or ambiguous loss . We know that Covid-19 has brought its own loss and sadness to many homes. In this episode, Thelma graciously and honestly shared her insight into how we can experience both joy and grief simultaneously, how God cares for us in our our sadness, and the ways we can comfort others experiencing grief.
This Christmas we pray that the celebration of Jesus’ birth will comfort you and encourage you knowing that he came to this earth to be with us in our suffering, to be Immanuel - God with us. He came to ultimately defeat death and brokenness, restoring us to him and promising to restore creation to perfection again when he returns.
Woot woot! Sam is in the house and she brought her silliness, joy, wisdom, and gave us some great advice on all things friendship! This episode will inspire you to become an intentional friend, building each other up in the Lord and making prayer the foundation of your friendships. We also discussed the practical aspects of friendship like making use of technology, applying 'love languages' and navigating friendships in a pandemic. We are so grateful for Sam's big heart and we know you will be blessed by her too!
