By coming to not live through the mental avoidance of what you fear and to instead follow what you desire is to come to live in a more synchronistic, "magical" reality that you flow harmoniously with. To stop focusing on your fear in this way is to let go of the way it polarizes you and instead open yourself to see the love and oneness that exists in the world. This is to experience the world through your inner senses which is to open yourself to more directly experience your spirit within your embodied self. Your spirit doesn't activate psychic abilities within you, it is your psychic abilities.
