A lot of women in South Africa can’t afford regular gynecology visits with private doctors and are often either left with the overburdened public hospitals or no form of testing at all. Which often leads to women detecting cancerous cells too late, a problem that HPV home test kits are going to solve. This is a more affordable, convenient and private route that will hopefully see the uptake in early detection. Join us as we chat to Dr Lekalakala on the importance of testing for HPV, the advantages of HPV home testing as well as to demonstrate how to correctly use the product at home.
Many South African women are silently suffering from untreated uterine fibroids. Even though living with uterine fibroids is quite common for a lot of women of reproductive age, this condition goes by largely ignored in the mainstream health conversations because the symptoms such as painful and long periods are considered to be ‘normal’ and topics around women’s reproductive health are still taboo in many communities. In this week's episode we are joined by FAASA chairperson Kea Nguza and OBGYN Dr Londiwe Kunene who will talk to us about diagnosing, treating and overcoming the challenges caused by living with uterine fibroids.

Women's safety has increasingly become a contentious issue in South Africa. Crime has been on the rise in the last two years and crimes against women in particular have increased significantly. 183 sexual offences are being reported daily with 36 kidnappings also being reported daily. This is why we have partnered with Aura to bring our members a panic button that ensures they receive medical and security assistance within 5 minutes. In this episode we are joined by Justin Suttner from Aura and we're discussing our partnership with Aura.

There are many factors that contribute to this like physical recovery, your mental health postpartum as well body image issues that you may be facing. These are all perfectly normal and Dr Lekalakala is back again to chat to us about how we can approach intimacy after having a baby.
Motherhood is one of the most beautiful journeys that women can experience; however it does leave us with complicated relationships with our bodies. How do we take care of ourselves while recovering from childbirth? Dr Katlego Lekalala joins us once again this week to discuss caring for your body after having a baby.
