Today’s episode is a big one, and it's something that I think touches all of us, no matter how old you are or where you're from. We’re going to dive deep into a topic that’s been weighing on a lot of minds lately—how modern life is making us feel lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected. Why, in this age of social media, 24/7 news cycles, and instant everything, do we feel more isolated and unhappy than ever?Let’s start with the basics: "overstimulation". We are bombarded by so much information all the time—whether it’s news, social media posts, or endless notifications—that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Everyone’s trying to keep up, from teenagers glued to their phones to older generations who feel like they’re being left behind. We’re all being pulled into this whirlwind of needing to be “on” all the time, to be liked, to feel relevant. And let's face it—social media is probably the biggest culprit here. Instead of helping us connect, it’s driving us further apart, making us question ourselves, compare ourselves, and feel like we’re not enough. So, why is everyone so unhappy? Think about it. Even though we have all this “connection,” people are lonelier than ever. Instead of living for real-life relationships, many of us are living for likes, comments, and the validation we get online. We’re trapped in this cycle where we feel like we have to prove ourselves—prove that our lives are exciting, prove that we’re happy, prove that we’re successful. But deep down, we know it’s not real. And that’s exhausting. What I want to talk about today is the search for meaning, and why it feels like more and more people are going through this existential crisis right now. Look at the world—it's changing fast. We’ve got economic instability, political tension, climate change, wars—it’s no wonder we’re all feeling a bit lost. The world is uncertain, and when the ground beneath us feels shaky, we start asking, “What’s the point? What really matters?” This is happening across generations. Whether you’re a teenager struggling to find your identity or a parent worried about your family’s future, everyone’s asking these deep questions.
"Inhale Peace, Exhale Love" - This meditation is a gentle reminder that no matter where you are, whether at home, in a park, at your desk, or even on a crowded train, you have the power to find calm and clarity within yourself. This is your moment to release stress and reconnect with the peaceful energy that resides within you.
Welcome back, dear listeners, to another enlightening episode of "Holistic Health Journeys." Today, we're diving into a topic that's as ancient as the trees themselves but backed by cutting-edge science—forest therapy. Yes, you heard that right. Imagine a therapy that costs nothing, is easily accessible, and can work wonders on your spiritual, mental, and physical health. Intrigued? Let's take a walk through the forest and explore the incredible benefits it holds.Picture this: You’re standing at the edge of a lush, green forest. The scent of pine and earth fills your nostrils. The soft ground cushions your feet, and the sound of a nearby stream calms your mind. This is not just a peaceful retreat—this is forest therapy, also known as Shinrin-yoku in Japan, which translates to "forest bathing." It's a practice that involves immersing yourself in the natural environment and engaging all your senses. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bronwyn59/message

Did you know that the current global military spending exceeds $1.9 trillion annually. Redirecting just 10% of this amount could provide hemp seed, education and training to millions of families, fostering food security and economic independence. Today, I will be discussing a visionary aspect where Industrial Hemp Seeds could change the world agricultural and geopolitical imbalance right now. And why? In a world grappling with climatic catastrophic conditions, geopolitical conflicts, severe water shortages, soil erosion, and escalating poverty, industrial hemp emerges as an unexpected saviour. Governments worldwide, compelled by the urgency of sustaining their populations, should embark on a bold initiative to make hemp a primary crop. This ancient plant, once overshadowed by more lucrative but less sustainable crops, proves to be a keystone in addressing multiple global crises.

This video training podcast is designed to guide you through a Qigong practice that incorporates bamboo sticks, highlighting the numerous benefits for physical health, mental well-being, and overall health.
I have used 432 Hz healing frequency for a further boost to your vitality and healing processes.Bamboo sticks are an incredible addition to our Qigong practice. The flexibility and natural strength of bamboo make it an ideal tool for enhancing coordination, balance, and strength. As we move through these exercises, you'll notice how the bamboo stick helps to engage all parts of your body—muscles, bones, and even internal organs.
One of the key benefits of using bamboo sticks in Qigong is the way they promote full-body engagement. These movements help to strengthen your muscles, including your heart muscle, and improve lung capacity. By opening up the lungs, we're able to take deeper, more nourishing breaths, which is vital for our overall health.
Using bamboo sticks also significantly enhances coordination by incorporating both left and right-hand movements. This bilateral activity is incredibly beneficial for concentration and cognitive function, helping to connect brain synapses and potentially serving as an ideal form of dementia prevention. The coordinated movements require focus and precision, which sharpen your mental faculties and improve overall brain health.
Engaging in these exercises also strengthens your bones, which is crucial for preventing osteoporosis. The weight-bearing nature of the movements helps to build and maintain bone density, ensuring that your skeletal system remains robust and healthy.
The horse stance, or mabu, is a foundational position in Qigong. It builds leg strength, stability, and endurance. When combined with the bamboo stick, we add an extra layer of challenge and benefit. These exercises are not only strengthening your body but also enhancing your mental focus and resilience.

The Four Noble Truths form the basis of all teachings in Buddhism. These Four Noble Truths came upon Buddha while meditating under a Bodhi tree. The four truths are: Dukkha: the Truth of suffering Samudaya: the Truth of the origin of suffering Nirodha: the Truth of the cessation of suffering Magga: the Truth of the Path to the cessation of sufferingEven though the origins are not always clear, the Buddhists are convinced that these truths were created by Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism, known as the Buddha. The legend states that he, the Buddha, instituted these truths after he saw the suffering of an old man, a sick man, a dead man's body, and the life of a monk. When he witnessed these men's poor state of life, he was aware of man's suffering. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bronwyn59/message

Near-death experiences (NDEs) have long captivated the human imagination, providing a fascinating window into the enigmatic realm between life and death. These profound encounters, often described as a departure from the physical body and a journey into a different dimension, have been reported by individuals from various cultures and belief systems. As science and spirituality continue to intersect, the exploration of near-death experiences has become a topic of intense scrutiny and speculation. What is a Near-Death Experience?A near-death experience is a subjective phenomenon that occurs when an individual comes close to death or faces a life-threatening situation. During these episodes, people often report a series of common elements, such as the sensation of leaving their physical bodies, entering a tunnel, encountering a bright light, and experiencing a profound sense of peace and love. Some individuals even claim to have had out-of-body experiences, observing their own bodies from a vantage point outside themselves.Key Elements of Near-Death Experiences:Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs): Many individuals who undergo near-death experiences report a detachment from their physical bodies. They describe floating above themselves, observing medical professionals or loved ones from an elevated perspective. The vividness and detail of these out-of-body experiences often leave a lasting impression on those who encounter them.Tunnels and Light: A common motif in near-death experiences is the presence of a tunnel through which individuals travel. At the end of the tunnel, a radiant light is often described as both comforting and awe-inspiring. The nature of this light varies among different accounts, with some describing it as divine or spiritual.Encounters with Deceased Loved Ones: Many people claim to have met deceased friends, family members, or even spiritual beings during their near-death experiences. These encounters are often emotionally charged, leaving individuals with a profound sense of connection and reassurance. Life Review: Some individuals report a panoramic life review during their near-death experiences. This involves reliving significant events from their lives, accompanied by a deep understanding of the impact of their actions on others. This aspect of NDEs often leads to personal reflection and transformation.Scientific and Spiritual Perspectives:The interpretation of near-death experiences spans a spectrum from the scientific to the spiritual. While neuroscientific theories suggest that NDEs may be the result of various physiological and psychological processes, including the release of certain chemicals in the brain during times of stress, spiritual perspectives argue for the existence of an afterlife and the possibility of consciousness transcending the physical body.Near-death experiences continue to intrigue and mystify, serving as a bridge between the scientific and the spiritual. Whether viewed through the lens of neuroscience or interpreted as glimpses into the afterlife, these profound encounters challenge our understanding of consciousness, mortality, and the nature of existence. As research in this field progresses, the enigma of near-death experiences may offer profound insights into the mysteries that lie beyond the threshold of life and death.Recommended Literature: - Dying to Be Me, by Anita Moorjani- Imagine Heaven, by John Burke- Between Death and Life, by Dolores Cannon- Life After Life, by Raymond Moody- Proof of Heaven, by Eben Alexander- Near Death in the ICU, by Laurin Bellg MD--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bronwyn59/message

The martial artist commits to the discipline out of love for it. The practitioner is beyond fighting. The true meaning of the martial arts lays in the student’s personal quest to evolve into the best martial artist they can be.
The martial arts take the student on a lifelong journey toward self-improvement of mind, body, and soul. The practitioner is challenged mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The sport is all-encompassing and leaves the student with a profound sense of belief in self.
The Literal Meaning
Fighting is not the aim of the martial arts, although the word “martial” has linguistic roots in the Latin word “Martialis” (which refers to the God of War in Roman mythology). Upon closer inspection of the Chinese character “mu” that is translated into the word “martial,” a different conclusion arises.
The Chinese character “mu” literally means “to stop fighting” or “to put down weapons.” The word “arts” in martial arts points to skill, expression of beauty or creativity. The combination “martial arts” may be interpreted to mean ending conflict skillfully. Peace is the ultimate goal of the martial arts.
Practicing the martial arts takes the student down a path toward mental improvement. We grow confidence, attain mental strength, and develop courage, tenacity, humility, compassion and kindness. The student enhances their character, developing honor, discipline, integrity, a work ethic, and respect.

Alles Leben fing da an.“ „The Ocean is the beginning of the earth. All life comes from the sea.”
Stretching and warmups is essential in any athletic endeavor, but in Qigong Martial Arts it becomes vitally important because of the extreme range of motion required for many of the strong kicks. The explosive nature of martial arts also requires flexible muscles and joints. One of my Qigong students demonstrates nicely the soft to hard movements; the bear, owl, bow-and-arrow, some of the elements of Qigong; earth, water, fire etc. And of course a few martial art punches.

The Four Noble Truths which came to the Buddha at the enlightenment, revolves around the logical process of seeing life, seeing all actions, not as we wish to see them, but as they really are.The steps of the Noble Eightfold Path are Right Understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration. Why is the Eightfold Path important to Buddhism? It gives Buddhists a path they can follow to end suffering. However, these are not steps but rather eight guiding principles that suggest the way to end suffering and ultimately achieve enlightenment .No doubt all of you are aware of the moral codes in other religious groups such as Christianity, the Jews, and Muslims. While there is a degree of correspondence across these groups, the interpretation of the code in each philosophy is different. In the example of the Ten Commandments, there is an authoritarian feeling of decree, of a direct order that these be fulfilled. In Buddhism, the eightfold path is meant as a guideline, to be considered, to be contemplated, and to be taken on when, and only when each step is fully accepted as part of the life you seek. Buddhism never asks for blind faith, it seeks to promote learning and a process of self-discovery.--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bronwyn59/message

Pedophiles don’t have signs on their backs or neon arrows pointing over their heads. It’s easier to believe that the “dirty old man in the park” rather than the clean-cut bus driver down the street is a pedophile.
Pedophiles aren’t confined to our Catholic churches. They are in Protestant churches, synagogues, and mosques. Some of them are teachers, counselors, scout leaders, truck drivers, factory workers, and youth ministers.
In fact, they are wherever children can be found, irrespective of age, race, education, occupation, class, social standing, or income.
Celibacy isn’t the reason priests prey on children. Sexual attraction to children, and sexual gratification from children, are the reasons.
General Characteristics of a Pedophile
There is no hard and fast profile of a pedophile.
Popular with both children and adults. Appears to be trustworthy and respectable. Has good standing in the community. Prefers the company of children. Feels more comfortable with children than adults. Is mainly attracted to prepubescent boys and girls. Can be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. “Grooms” children with quality time, video games, parties, candy, toys, gifts, money. Singles out children who seem troubled and in need of attention or affection. Often dates or marries women with children that are the age of his preferred victims. Rarely forces or coerces a child into sexual contact. Usually through trust and friendship. Physical contact is gradual, from touching, to picking up, to holding on lap, to kissing, etc. Derives gratification in a number of ways. For some, looking is enough. For others, taking pictures or watching children undress is enough. Still others require more contact. Finds different ways and places to be alone with children. Are primarily (but not always) male, masculine, better-educated, more religious than average, in their thirties, and choose jobs allowing them greater access to children. Are usually family men, have no criminal record, and deny that they abuse children, even after caught, convicted, incarcerated, and court-ordered into a sex offender program. The marriage is often troubled by sexual dysfunction, and serves as a smokescreen for the pedophile’s true preferences and practices. Are often, but not always, themselves victims of some form of childhood sexual abuse. Even if the pedophile has no children, his home is usually child-friendly, with toys, books, video games, computers, bikes, swing sets, skateboards, rec room, pool, snacks – things to attract children to his home and keep them coming back. Usually the items reflect the preferred age of his victims.

"Shortness of breath" can feel like your chest is tight and breathing difficult, almost to the point of a near death sensation. This can be a cause of stress, loss of a loved one, unemployment, tension, nervousness etc. For most people, hyperventilation is rare and only occurs as an occasional response to fear or stress. For others, this condition occurs regularly as a typical response to emotional excesses such as fear, anxiety, or anger. When hyperventilation is a frequent occurrence, it is known as hyperventilation syndrome. If left untreated for a long period of time, then it becomes a life-threatening situation.
When your body experiences anxiety, it goes into fight-or-flight mode to protect itself from an immediate threat. It releases adrenaline, a hormone that pumps blood to your muscles and causes your body temperature to rise. It also sends most of your oxygen to your muscles, which is why you may feel short of breath. Close your mouth and take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. When you breathe in, you want your belly to fill with air and get bigger like a balloon. Blow all of the air out slowly and gently through pursed lips as if you were blowing bubbles.
Our blood has an optimal pH, which is maintained by a specific ratio of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide. When you hyperventilate, that ratio is disturbed. Too much oxygen causes the pH of the blood to rise and become too alkaline. This is known as respiratory alkalosis. Symptoms can include anxiety, dizziness, dry mouth, tingling in the fingers and arms, chest pain or tremors. In fact, some research has suggested a link between panic disorders and poor regulation of blood pH.
Breathing into a paper bag is a technique that can help you regulate hyperventilation. It works by putting some of the lost carbon dioxide back into your lungs and body. This helps to balance oxygen flow in your body. The physiology makes sense; breathing out in panic results in the loss of carbon dioxide in the blood and breathing into a bag restores the lost CO2. However, it’s important to note that rebreathing is unsafe for certain people, particularly those with heart or lung problems.
Take 6 to 12 easy, natural breaths, with a small paper bag held over your mouth and nose. Then remove the bag from your nose and mouth and take easy, natural breaths. Next, try belly-breathing (diaphragmatic breathing). Alternate these techniques until your hyperventilation stops.

LOTUS FLOWER BREATHING EXERCISE
This lotus flower breathing excercise is a short but effective way to clear your mind and to energise your body bringing you into a spiritual balance with yourself and the world around you. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. Sit in an upright lotus position.
Now we are ready. Namaste
Rest your arms on your knees and follow my instructions: Take a deep breath of pure oxygen through your nose…. And at the same time imagining you are pulling in joy, peace, love, happiness, good health deep into your lungs down into your belly. Full your belly with that pure oxygen. Your belly should be expanding as it fills up with air. Hold this for 3-5 seconds.
Now when you release this air… move your arms towards the top of your head in a praying position whilst squeezing gently the air out through your mouth. Your belly should contract whilst pressing the air through your lungs out of your mouth. Try to keep this for 3-5 seconds.
Again, repeat this exercise. Your hand are in a praying position above your head. Breath in fulling your lungs and your belly with oxygen whilst you move your arms down towards your belly. Rest the palms of your hand over your full belly of air. Start rubbing in circles over your belly.
Now…release the air slowly and simultaneously move your arms up above your head whilst releasing all the tensions, pains, worries, anxiety, sadness, bad health out of your lungs through your mouth.
Take a few moments to enjoy this feeling and then begin again by repeating this breathing exercise at least 5 times to get the full benefits. Remember to hold the air in your lungs and belly for 3-5 seconds and releasing the air for a slow 3-5 seconds.
Only stop this exercise once you feel that your mind, body and spirit are in balance with yourself and the world around you.
Namaste

What is meditation? And how to use it for better sleep. Welcome back dear listerners. Today I will explain very briefly what meditation is all about and then we will practice together a short sleep exercise to make you feel drowsy and relaxed.
Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind and focusing one's attention to achieve mental clarity, emotional calmness, and a state of deep relaxation. It is often used for personal growth, stress reduction, and spiritual development. During meditation, individuals typically sit or lie down ina comfortable position and engage in a series of techniques or exercises to calm the mind and cultivate a state of mindfulness. These techniques caninclude focusing on the breath, repeating a mantra or word, visualizing an image or scene, or observing the thoughts and sensations without judgment.
The primary goal of meditation is to achieve a state of heightened awareness and inner peace. Regular practice of meditation can help improve concentration, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance self-awareness, promote emotional well-being, and increase overall mental clarity. It is also believed to have physical health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure and boosting the immune system.
Meditation has its roots in ancient religious and spiritual traditions, particularly in Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism. However, it has become increasingly popular in the modern world as a secular practice that can benefit people from various backgrounds and belief systems. There are numerous forms and styles of meditation, allowing individuals to choose a technique that resonates with them and aligns with their goals and preferences.
Before we begin, please ensure that you are in a comfortable position, preferably lying down on your bed. Now, let's begin the meditation for sleep:

The Four Noble Truths of Buddha: In his first teaching after attaining liberation, the Buddha taught The Four Noble Truths: the truth of suffering, the truth of the origin of suffering, the truth of the cessation of suffering, and the truth of the path to liberation from suffering.
The First Noble Truth recognizes the existence of suffering. We humans will do everything we can to resist or deny the existence of suffering. Paradoxically, resisting or denying the existence of suffering only increases our suffering. Recognizing the existence of suffering, without additional thoughts or denial, is the first step to letting go of the suffering that accompanies my chronic pain.
The Second Noble Truth, the cause of suffering, is clinging to things – especially ourselves – as real and permanent. My knee-jerk reaction when my pain flares up is self-pity. My self-centered thoughts and negative judgments increase my suffering. When I let go of my thoughts and focus instead on the direct experience of my pain, there is an immediate sense of relief and spaciousness.
Focusing on the pain itself, rather than clinging to it as something unique to myself, leads to the cessation of suffering – The Third Noble Truth. Working directly with the energy of physical pain has become my path out of the suffering that accompanies my pain. This path is related to the Fourth Noble Truth, the path to liberation from suffering.

All modern cannabis genetics have one thing in common: they stem from wild specimens, known as landraces, that can be found all over the world.
These wild varieties feature unique traits they gained after adapting to the challenges of different environments. The Kush you smoked last night, and the Gorilla currently growing in your garden, all have landrace ancestors, and some of their most notable traits can still be traced back to those predecessors.
Those landrace strains may look quite different from our modern selection, and many might underestimate them on first glance. However, they still hold up to this day, and there are quite a few you should keep on your radar.
What Are Landrace Strains?
Landrace strains, in short, are the original cannabis strains we derive our modern varieties from today. They were first found in various regions of Thailand, South Africa, and Mexico, and could be distinguished by the individual traits they picked up to deal with their environment.
Although humans introduced cannabis to the rest of the planet, landrace strains are feral specimens that adapted and thrived in the wild. Their ability to spread, of course, can be heavily credited to birds and animals that ate their seeds and spread them around. Since this gave them the chance to develop unique, appealing characteristics, they came to possess cannabinoid and terpene levels that made them desirable to growers and breeders.
Realizing this, strain hunters in the mid and later 20th century would travel the planet in search of untapped landrace genetics. Once discovered, they would give them to growers who would add their traits into the ever-increasing cannabis gene pool, giving rise to new generations of exciting cultivars.
We talk about those strains all the time, though. Considering that, we’d like to take some time to focus on those pivotal landrace strains. These varieties are mainly the first-generation varieties that stem from wild specimens found thriving in nature. They’re the closest you’ll get to true landrace genetics today, though, and we consider them accordingly.

Shamans act as mediators in their cultures. Shamans claim to communicate with the spirits on behalf of the community, including the spirits of the deceased. Shamans believe they can communicate with both living and dead to alleviate unrest, unsettled issues, and to deliver gifts to the spirits. Shamans are powerful in that they are continuing ancient traditions and beliefs, that work, and have worked for thousands of years. They're powerful in their connection to the spiritual world, and their deep grounding with nature. Yet their power isn't imposing. It isn't condescending, or forceful. It is "healing" the human soul.

What is the Entourage Effect? The entourage effect is a theoretic principle that suggests that compounds made in the cannabis plant’s trichomes, cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and more work together to create a whole-body experience. Or Full-Spectrum with THC compared to a Broad Spectrum without THC but all the other goodies.
“The cannabis experience is much more than just THC or CBD, as the cannabis plant is more than just a few cannabinoids. Think of it as different parts of the plant all working together in favor of your body,”. “No other plant is as efficient or multi-modal as cannabis.”
How Does the Entourage Effect Work?
Sometimes, analogies help explain things, so that’s what we’re going for here. Imagine your favorite movie or show soundtrack. Imagine all the instruments playing in that soundtrack. Percussion, string, wind, etc. Now, imagine the cannabinoids are the percussion, the terpenes are the string ensemble, and the flavonoids are the wind instruments. Sure, you could have a good song with just one piece of that symphony, but imagine the soundtrack just being percussion? It just isn’t quite as good. That’s the same idea with the entourage effect and the cannabis experience.
Can you buy different parts of the plant on their own? Yes, you can! There are distillate and isolate products available, which are a pure form of a targeted cannabinoid created by removing everything except the desired compound (like THC pills). This will create a different experience than consuming full spectrum or broad spectrum extracts, which contain a variety of cannabinoids and terpenes. Only you can decide if it’s better, but most cannabis connoisseurs prefer the full entourage effect experience.

Poverty is not God-given; it is most definitely man-made. No one is born poor; society makes one poor. Gandhi called poverty a moral collapse of society, and he believed its roots lie in what he called the seven social evils.
Which are the 7 social evils according to Gandhi?
Wealth without work, Pleasure without conscience, Science without humanity, Knowledge without character, Politics without principle, Commerce without morality, Worship without sacrifice.”
An estimated 698 million people, or 9% of the global population, are living in extreme poverty – that is, living on less than $1.90 a day.
Poverty entails more than the lack of income and productive resources to ensure sustainable livelihoods. Its manifestations include hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination, and exclusion as well as the lack of participation in decision-making.
Up to 811 million people — about 10% of the world's population — regularly go to bed hungry. The war in Ukraine has made conditions worse in 2022, as conflict restricts global food supplies, drives up prices, and threatens the world's most vulnerable people and countries.

How does music affect plant growth? We know it sounds a little eccentric to play music for plants – I mean plants don’t even have ears, right? But research has shown that music may, in fact, have a profound impact on a cannabis plant’s growth. Interestingly, different styles of music seem to have different effects. So let’s investigate this further. WHY DO PLANTS NEED TO HEAR? This ability to detect sound allows plants to experience the outside world and act accordingly when trouble arrives. Far from inert green masses that blow in the wind, plants are incredibly aware of their surroundings.
The sound of a caterpillar munching on a plant's leaves will cause specimens to ramp up production of defensive chemicals designed to deter attackers. What's more, plants can differentiate between acoustic energy that signifies a threat and sounds from non-threatening sources.

Welcome to the „UBUNTU Hemp“ podcast about sustainable hemp solutions for South Africa and the world. What is UBUNTU? The word ubuntu is just part of the Zulu phrase "Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu", which literally means that a person is a person through other people. Ubuntu has its roots in humanist African philosophy, where the idea of community is one of the building blocks of society. UBUNTU also includes the following values: communality, respect, dignity, value, acceptance, sharing, co-responsibility, humaneness, social justice, fairness, personhood, morality, group solidarity, compassion, joy, love, fulfilment and conciliation. In fact Nelson Mandela practiced UBUNTU and we as a dedicated group have continued his dream and legacy for everyone. Me and my team are so proud to be part of this UBUNTU way of life. Our company is the first in the world to develop UBUNTU Eco-Villages where people are part of the hemp building processess. People who only dreamt of having their homes are now able to be part of that UBUNTU dream. My team think, feel and live this concept in everything that they do from every step along the way; planning, construction to textiles using local workers, know-how and materials. We believe in sustainability as shared treaures within the community. For the people, by the people.

There is a golden rule amongst the cannabis community: Never spike your cannabis with opium or any other opioid medicine. We will discuss the reasons why. Let me first start off with buddha cannabis and then get on to an explanation about opium and then how the two work together and the dangerous side effects.
Budda is a form of marijuana that contains analgesic opium. This substance is highly addictive and when mixed with regular cannabis, creates a more intense and longer-lasting high. Using Budda can lead to several negative health effects, especially if taken for long periods of time.
Named for the “enlightened one,” Buddha or Budda is marijuana that contains the powerful and highly addictive analgesic opium. Buddha is also the name given to a specific strain of cannabis sativa, the buds, flowers, stems, and leaves of which are dried and smoked, made into concentrated hashish, a tea, ingested in capsule form, or used in tinctures among other altered forms. The use of cannabis is deeply rooted in some tantras relating to Buddhism, in which it was ingested to elevate the effect and visualization achieved during meditation and is the origin of the name.

Thailand has a new "Ganja God" - Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. He probably is the worlds next Guru of Cannabis and Saviour of this most controversial plant ever known to mankind. Yes, it's unbelievable that, not long ago a country with some of the strictest drug policies in the world, has got into the weed game.
In June 2022, Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration removed marijuana and hemp from the Category 5 narcotics list, meaning that these substances are essentially decriminalized. Now this was putting the cart before the horse as the health minister Anutin Charnvirakul just claimed overnight „Cannabis Party time for all“ . Laws and regulations were not even discussed. But what the heck nobody is complaining.
From illegal drug to tasty ingredient: Thailand has one of the most liberal marijuana regulations in the world, the country hopes for prosperity. Many hemp products now also end up on the plates.
"Don't panic it's organic" is written on the window of a coffee shop in Bangkok. Thailand's government has not taken such a relaxed view of cannabis use for very long. In 2018, marijuana was initially legalised for medical purposes only, and only since June 2022 has the cultivation and consumption of cannabis been decriminalised.

What does having a warrior spirit mean? Having a warrior spirit refers to the quality within to live with humility, passion and courage from a place of empowerment. “Our warrior spirit, combined with our creativity and ingenuity, makes us incredible beings! We, small creatures, lacking strength and agility, have managed to surpass so many species that could have extinguished us. We’ve fought our way and have made the impossible possible, thriving in such a competitive, wild, and dangerous world. And despite all the challenges around and within ourselves, we don’t stop our fight. We’ve invented beautiful things to fight our challenges! Agriculture for starvation, medicine for diseases, even diplomacy and ecology for the collateral damage of our inherent violence over ourselves and our environment. Like any plant, to flourish the Chinese Bamboo Tree requires nurturing – water, fertile soil, sunshine. And humans need exercise to keep themselves healthy. The Bamboo Stick Technique is the ideal sport for young and old as you can see in this video podcast.

Review based on Pansexuality and "Coming Out" - Abigail from "The Manic Pixie Wierdo Podcast" expresses herself through her biographical story. Worth listening to by those who are afraid of expressing their identity towards "LOVE for PEOPLE". https://open.spotify.com/show/7cRrJxdiBmTP3ZqXaGrzqm?si=ee914557fb774788
WHAT is Pansexuality? Pansexuality is sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others. Pansexuality may be considered a sexual orientation in its own right or a branch of bisexuality, to indicate an alternative sexual identity. Because pansexual people are open to relationships with people who do not identify as strictly men or women, and pansexuality therefore rejects the gender binary, it is considered by some to be a more inclusive term than bisexual. The extent to which the term bisexual is inclusive when compared with the term pansexual is debated within the LGBT community, especially the bisexual community.

Travel is exciting but the experience of travelling can be stressful. Modern air travel is particularly frustrating. Common negative effects include irritation, emotionality, anxiety and jet-lag. Fifteen per cent of men are more likely to cry at a movie on an airplane than at home.
I have experience this once when I flew Air India to Mumbai that I was smothered with bollywood films and tearful men. Furthermore, The altered oxygen levels in airplane cabins also affect memory and concentration, making air travel significantly more stressful than any of us would wish.
I have often wondered if lessons from mindfulness, meditation and Buddhism could help with some of these problems? Help us cope better in the air? What follows is a guide to addressing some of these travel challenges, drawn from from personal experience, combining traditional medical advice with additional psychological techniques to help you get through airports and flights without too much psychological damage.
In order to minimise the negative effects of travel, there is much psychological sense in the usual travel advice: plan trips with care, especially when travelling with children; spend extra money and time if they ease transitions in the journey (leaving plenty of time for meals, rest and connections); bring twice as much money as you think you need, and half as much luggage.
If you are flying, you must also prepare yourself for the inevitable psychological turbulence of modern air travel. Mindfulness and acceptance can help greatly.
Here are 12 mindful tips for a more relaxing flight.

Did you know that your mind tricks you to thinking either negative or positive thoughts? The fact is that what your brain is thinking is often influenced by your own mindsets from distorted or pleasant memories from the past. It is how you interpret these thoughts in a moment of either stress or pleasure. Each of us experiences these thoughts and feelings differently but one thing we all have in common despite our race, colour and creed is that everyone of us goes through both ends of the pole: negative and positive thinking patterns. However, negative thoughts are often destructive if left to their own devices. They make us feel miserable, sad, helpless, bitter, angry etc. This can lead to more negative thoughts and behaviour eventually creating havoc in your life, illness and even death.
How do we handle negativity in our lives? Good news is that the Law of Nature is also The Law of Physics. Nothing esoteric about that. What it means is that in order to create balance in our lives, we need to have a positive pole as well. When we switch the roles we will find that a positive mindset will grow stronger and attract more positiveness in our lives. This switch to a positive mindset will grow stronger each day and attract a good feeling in you. You will grow stronger, more resilient and have the energy to create a positive world around you. This makes you look and feel attractive to yourself as well as others.
Negativity is a vicious cycle and influences more negativity back into your life and behaviour. People are never attracted to negative persons. Which means you are left without supportive friends or family perhaps when you need them most. The answer lies within every one of us. We need to work from within by oiling our mindsets to think differently about something which perhaps has not even taken place accept in our heads.

Did you know ladies that treating a man right is no "rocket science", just common sense. Specifically, men like to be treated like babies (not literally), but men also crave the 100% attention, care, and pampering the kids get. He wants you to show genuine respect for his well-being. He wants you to be kind and empathetic. Unlike what some people believe, men are also emotional. So, it would help if you cared about their feelings when you talk or act. Show that you care when he is emotionally troubled and be there for him.
In truth, most men don’t want you to buy expensive things or give them money. Being kind, loving, caring, and compassionate is enough for anyone. You have the key to his heart if you can treat your man right or you know how to treat a man right.

Welcome dear listeners to another lifestyle podcast on health matters. Today I am going to discuss a fitness product from the German sports company called „Sport Thieme“. I have also included in this podcast a video that you, the listener can see how I tested this product from every exercise angle imaginable: squats, splits, forward bends etc. I will give you the test results towards the end of this podcast as well as discuss the health benefits of the training bar. But first of all let us discuss what this fitness device is. We call it a steel padded weight rod. This rod weighs 8 kgs which is about 18 pounds. Length: 122 cm, ø 30-37 mm. The men's so-called Olympic Weightlifting Bar, used in standard men's weightlifting competitions, weighs 20 kg, or 45lb. While the women's version weighs 15kg or 33lb. So, what I wanted to test is the 8 kg which normally is not recommended for beginners. In that case they should use a 2kg bar. The challenge was to test how far one could use an 8kg rod for different types of exercises which would normally not be done in a regular gym. I noticed as I was doing theses exercises my regular movements were slower and more carefully performed as usual. I had to use more stamina and some elasticity was limited, for example the "air lifts" had to be adjusted accordingly so as not to damage my back or ligaments. It is recommended to wear training gloves to support the wrists and also a weight belt to avoid any damage to your lower back. I am not wearing a belt in this video but I was aware that some of my usual movements were limited to avoid any unnecessary damage. Remember, 8 kgs is not something to take lightly.

Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. Join me on this relaxing cosmic journey listening to the soothing backround music and beautiful symphony of pictures. You will feel completely relaxed and full of positive energy after this 20 minute "Cosmic" mindfulness training.

The goal of this practice is to quiet your inner voice and just 'be'. So just 'be' with the music, and fully immerse yourself, and you'll feel very relaxed and sleepy.
Usually, meditation aims to focus, center, calm, or direct your attention. It can also help relax our bodies. So it can pair well with music for some people. Often, music used for meditation has a slow tempo, which can reduce heart rate, and also lower anxiety and stress levels. What sounds are good for meditation? Natural sounds, like birdsong, can also be combined with binaural beat music or used to aid meditation on their own. You may find that listening to the sound of the dawn chorus helps you relax and meditate, or that the deep rumbling sound of thunder combined with the sound of heavy rainfall works for you. Which meditation is good for brain? Studies have found that both mindfulness meditation and Transcendental Meditation help you make better decisions by improving the functioning of your brain's decision-making centers. Benefits of meditation • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations. • Building skills to manage your stress. • Increasing self-awareness. • Focusing on the present. • Reducing negative emotions. • Increasing imagination and creativity. • Increasing patience and tolerance.

Astral Projection - Headphones - Meditation Music for Lucid Dreaming and Out of Body Experience - Deep relaxation - 432 Hz - Keep the eyes closed and the body completely relaxed. Headphones required. Binaural Beats Astral projection, sometimes called astral travel, is an intentional out of body experience (OBE.) Those who engage in astral projection believe in the existence of a soul or a sense of consciousness that is separate from the physical body, which is referred to as the astral body. This astral body is capable of traveling outside of, or away from, the physical body, which is how astral projection or astral travel is achieved. Once you know how to safely astral project, the experiences you are capable of having are phenomenal. Astral projection and travel can be used for everything from visiting other realms or visiting different areas of earth without physically going there, to performing energy work on yourself in a deeply spiritual way.

The body scan meditation mindfulness technique can promote body awareness, stress awareness, and relaxation. Practice it often. It is quite similar to progressive muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, or visualization exercises for releasing stress and tension in your body. What is the origin of mindfulness meditation? Mindfulness originated from ancient eastern and Buddhist philosophy and dates back around 2500 years. The concept of mindfulness was introduced to the western world by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Can this technique lead to enlightenment? Yes, Vipassana as we call it can certainly lead you to enlightenment, provided you do it correctly and you pursue with it till all your past karma are eradicated. But, other benefits will also take place. In a body scan meditation, we move through the body slowly and deliberately, tuning into different spaces and the experiences present. During the period of practice, the task is just to be present with what is going on. There are many different types of body scans spanning various meditation traditions. In Buddhism, body scans are traditionally done without trying to fix anything. That is, we don’t move through the body intentionally changing our experience. We may relax the shoulders or breathe deeply into the belly, but the practice is really to tune into whatever is present, pleasant or unpleasant.

You don't have to be a martial arts expert to do these warmup exercises. They can be done by everyone with a little practice. You should stretch when you wake up in the morning and again in the evening to improve your flexibility. Instructors will always ask you to stretch before and after classes to reduce possible injuries that can arise due to tight muscles and tendons. I have demonstrated the „beginners“ stretching exercise which I normally do in the mornings and again in the evening. Each stretch should be performed smoothly, gently, and slowly using a soft breathing technique.

It is how you use it that makes it a great challenge; You learn how to use your physical, mental and spirtual strengths like no other type of sport. You learn to move like the flow of water along with your breathing technique. Both harmonise in every single movement that you make. The slower you move, the more challenging it becomes a you pick up stamina and speed.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. By Max Ehrmann © 1927 Original text

Like any new healthcare product, many wild myths and misconceptions surround CBD. This isn’t surprising considering that research into CBD is still very much ongoing, especially when it comes to its medical value.
Additionally, its popularity has grown at an unprecedented rate. Many brands and manufacturers are often competing with each other to produce new and unique CBD formulations.
This can create a lot of confusion about the compound. For instance, what’s the difference between broad and full-spectrum CBD oils?
As the market grows, this confusion can turn into misinformation. So, during this podcast, we’ll break down the 10 biggest myths and truths about CBD oil.

Podcast also available as a book. A beautiful bedtime story for young and old. It was a beautiful, sunny day and not a cloud in the sky. I decided to take a long stroll through the forest to the other side of the river. I packed my backpack with enough water and sandwiches for the days trip.
Somehow, I had the feeling that this was going to be no ordinary day. Sometimes we have this sixth sense in us that there is a magical karma happening around us, yet we can’t quite explain it. I just knew in my heart I was facing a moment of excitement.
Whilst I was walking on my favourite foot path, I came across 2 young monks wearing worn down sandals and a cotton sling bag over their shoulders. We greeted each other politely and continued walking together on the same pathway until we all stopped simultaneously in front of a bushy fig tree. One of them asked if I would like to join them under the shade of the tree to a small snack.
I didn’t hesitate too long and realized it would be rude to refuse their kind offer. I also offered my sandwiches in return. All three of us sat together under this fig tree in silence. Just enjoying the magnificent view in front of us. We were mindful of each other’s presence, yet far away in thought.
We were lost in time and space…just savouring my sandwiches and their homemade fruity biscuits.

"Journey of Discovery" through Buddha's teachings. Podcast of enlightenment. Many peoples lives are influenced through dogmas and fears. In this podcast I have taken the opportunity to use Buddha's way of teaching through stories and parables about the meaning of fear; The unskilled and skilled way of coping with fear. It is not easy to most people how to understand or interpret Buddha's way of thinking but it is only because we try to fight on two fronts: The materialistic and the spiritual. Please take time to listen to this podcast in its lengthy form to understand the simplicity of the message behind the discourse about Fear. It will give you new insights and growth in your personal development.
It truly is not complicated to understand Buddha’s teachings. We must just free our minds of all its clutter to stay focused on the importance of the deeper aspects of our beautiful existence and the symbiosis with nature and our spiritual beings.

This podcast looks at the true facts of Arthritis, the myths and what kind of treatment programs are available for sufferers. The question is Can Rheumatoid Arthritis Be Caused by Stress? Rheumotoid Arthritus (RA) is a chronic inflammatory joint condition and an autoimmune disease that can be caused by stress, according to research.
There is no definite cure; however, treatment can make its symptoms (pain and swelling) disappear for a while. This symptom-free period is referred to as “remission.” A remission is followed by the reappearance of symptoms, which is a period known as a flare-up.
Most forms of arthritis are thought to be caused by a fault in the immune system that causes the body to attack its own tissues in the joints. This may be inherited genetically. Other forms of arthritis can be caused by problems with the immune system or by a metabolic condition, such as gout.

I use the combination of these tones to musically accompany and support the shifting between all 3 states of consciousness, subconscious and the unconscious. In combination with nature sounds and melodies I want to create a calm and relaxed athmosphere in which you can relax, dream or fall into a deep sleep.

Listen with Bluetooth earphones. “OPIUM for the SPIRIT”. Escape into a different dimension. The different sound frequencies will put you into a trance like state. Yoga and Tantra have never been so erotically stimulating and hypnotic as felt in this music. Every sound and beat will dive deep into your vital organs stimulating energy, joy, ecstasy, harmony and positiveness. Allow your mind to wonder into the ancient realm of days gone by. Stay attuned to your inner core and let yourself go. Yoga derives from ancient Indian spiritual practices and an explicitly religious element of Hinduism (although yoga practices are also common to Buddhism and Jainism)

Ladies lie back and close your eyes. Put on your headphones and let your spirit float with the sounds of the waves, drums, flutes, clangs of nature and the power of your sensuality. The female "ear" hears sounds in a different way to that of the male ear. This is why I have carefully selected pieces of music that arouse in a woman her true emotions, fantasies, her soft vulnerability, as well as her strengths and longings.

Sometimes you can be so caught up in your stress that you don't realize that the physical discomfort you're experiencing—such as headaches, back and shoulder pain, and tense muscles all connected to your emotional state. Body scan meditation is a good way to release physical tension you might not even realize you're experiencing. Body scanning involves paying attention to parts of the body and bodily sensations in a gradual sequence from feet to head.
By mentally scanning yourself, you bring awareness to every single part of your body, noticing any aches, pains, tension, or general discomfort. The goal is not to relieve the pain completely, but to get to know and learn from it so you can better manage it.
Benefits of a Regular Practice
Best when performed daily (or even several times a day), practicing body scan meditation is associated with many mental and physical health benefits. Research shows that stress reduction is one of the primary benefits of body scan meditation, which in turn can have physical benefits including reduced inflammation, fatigue, and sleeplessness.

Qigong and Ancient Taoism have been focusing on the males libido for many thousands of years. Why has modern society forgotten this most essential element to the male libido and his vitality? There are very few meditation podcasts or even scripts dedicated to enhancing a healthy male libido meditation on the market and in any language. I have put together a brief introduction about the importance of focusing on a healthy male sexual orientation through Qigong and Taoism so that the listener can appreciate the ancient roots behind this concept. I have also researched ancient records about male vitality and have the great pleasure to introduce the 2 Stages of the male meditation technique taken from Taosim and put into a much simpler but effective method for you to practice in this podcast.
This is a NEW SEASON row of Podcasts towards male meditation and health. Something, which is often neglected in some circles or there is too much emphasis on one particular type of male fitness and health. Mindfulness and Meditation techniques work wonders with many stressed out men. When men suffer from a lot of stress, fear, low self-esteem and anxiety, the first thing that is affected is their libido!
The meditation is divided into 2 stages: 1st Stage is getting the body to completely relax before one can enter the door of the 2nd Stage of the sexual visualisation with an imaginary or real "partner". Please do not go into the 2nd Stage without successfully completing the 1st Stage of relaxation.

Available in book form. Qigong 5,000 Years - This is "My Story" dating back to my early South African roots and the training path I took in mastering this ancient Chinese form of Qigong practice and meditation. https://youtu.be/5blUHo-vhKg
It is known that the Chinese art of Qigong has a history that goes back over 5,000 years, though only a few historical documents exist today. Qigong can be roughly divided into four periods.
We know little about the first period, which started when the "Yi Jing" (Book of Changes) was introduced, sometime before 1122 B.C., and to have extended until the Han dynasty when Buddhism and its meditation methods were imported from India. This infusion brought Qigong practice and meditation into the second period, the religious Qigong era, which lasted until the Liang dynasty, when it was discovered that Qigong could be used for martial purposes. This was the beginning of the third period, that of martial Qigong. Many different martial Qigong styles were created based on the theories and principles of Buddhist and Daoist Qigong. This period lasted until the overthrow of the Qing dynasty in 1911; from that point Chinese Qigong training was mixed with Qigong practices from India, Japan, and many other countries.
Qigong can harmonise, strengthen, and have a healing effect on the functioning of all the internal organs and bodily systems. It increases the supply and flow of energy throughout the body, can have a variety of rejuvenating effects and is believed to increase longevity, and it induces calm mental and emotional states.
In Chinese philosophy the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are the five basic aspects of Qi, or life energy. These five elements are interconnected and interdependent. The harmonious balance of 'the five elements' are key components of a healthy life.
The 5 Categories of Qigong
Looking at the various energy arts practiced over the millennia, we can see 5 distinct types or categories:
Medical Qigong (also called Health Qigong)
Longevity Qigong (also called Vitality Qigong)
Intellectual Qigong (also called Scholarly Qigong)
Martial Qigong (also called Warrior Qigong)
Spiritual Qigong
Qigong exercises typically involves slow, deep and rhythmic breathing along with slow, fluid choreographed movements according to stylized forms, and visualizing Qi circulating through your body. Ancient texts describe 75 Qigong forms and modern day Qigong has 56 forms.

Today, I will be discussing the new evolutionary processess taking place right now during the last 2 years. And giving you new insights into the topic; Wait for it… Who is our real soulmate? Let us ask ourselves the following:
How do we know if someone is your soulmate?
They're your best friend. ...
• You feel a sense of calm when around them. ...
• You have extreme empathy for them. ...
• You respect each other. ...
• You balance each other out. ...
• You agree about the important things. ...
• You share the same life goals.
• You challenge each other
• You can totally be yourself
• You are each others biggest fan
• You feel intense chemistry with each other
• You there for each other
Of course the list can be long depending on your emotional needs and requirements.
But ask yourself the question: Can we actually replace this with machines?
The fact is the word „Soulmate“ is usually attached to a living organism. This podcast is by no means to degrade the meaning of this word ( I too have my best soulmate, my beautiful dog).
What I want to emphasise is, is that the definition has somewhat shifted since we have been under pandemic influences and the coexistence of social media platforms and the digital world out there. Because of these unexpected lifestyle shifts, we are trying to replace our „Soulmate“ deficits with virtual reality.
It is not uncommon to attach ourselves to the umbilical cord of the virtual world as a substitute for emotional gaps that incur over a lengthy isolation phase.
All living organisms require warmth, love, touch, smell, closeness of another human or even animal to acknowledge their existence and survival of the species.
Without getting too scientific about this matter, I really would like to use this awareness factor as something to think about on the spiritual, mental and physical balance of all living species for healthy relationships.
I won‘t go into all the psychological and medical aspects of isolation environments on living organisms wherever it is an animal or human. The fact is, childrens early development phases are been affected drastically, including the young and old at different levels.
The virtual world is there to fulfil needs and requirements at all rudimentary and sophisticated levels but it does not compensate for the company of someone special in our lives; The real soulmate. Relationship building in the real cosmos.
Thank you everyone for listening and let us hope that we find ourselves in the fortunate position of close family and friends who give us the soulmate feeling in the physical universe.
I will leave you with a very beautiful quote to describe this warm message to you all: Somewhat unorthodox but strikes the message home.
„What is it that makes us human? It’s not something you can program. You can’t put it into a chip. It’s the strength of the human heart. The difference between us and machines.“

Do real men meditate? The short answer is YES. REAL men do meditate! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgUCCP3kJI0
Mindfulness has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety as well as help you become more productive in your life (by focusing on the present). By practising mindfulness, men can learn how to deal with emotions such as anger or sadness rather than suppressing them which results in feelings of depression or isolation.
Mindfulness can be a very powerful tool for men to use, especially when it comes to improving your life. One of the many benefits that mindfulness can have is helping you cope with difficult emotions and negative thoughts.
There is a lot of talk about mindfulness for women but it can also benefit men. Men have to deal with stress in their everyday lives. Work, family life and a wide selection of responsibilities and worries all contribute to stress in men. Stress over long periods of time can cause all sorts of mental and physical health problems.
Men tell you what is on their minds, but not what is in their heart,” – I have had a lot of experience with male psychology and one of the biggest issues with my male patients was the word PURPOSE in Life.
Most of their problems started after they had lost their jobs, had major relationship problems, are a war veteren, serious accidents, loss of face, huge life setbacks, going on pension, not having hobbies, interests, strong frienship circle etc.
Once that „purpose“ for example, worker, husband, father, sportsman etc was taken away from them then their real troubles started.
Not coincidentally, boys and men commit the vast majority of violent acts, from domestic violence to murder. Many struggle with expressing empathy and compassion.
The problem does not seem to center on mindfulness.
Men practice high levels of mindfulness in a variety of arenas in our society. At military boot camps and police academies, men learn to control their breathing and focus on a target before firing a weapon. Sports are a great training ground for mindfulness: Basketball players are taught to clear their mind by going through a routine when shooting a free throw. Being in “the zone” is active meditation in its highest form.
Notice, however, that in all of these mindfulness practices, compassion is removed from the equation. These boys and men are being trained for win-or-lose competition. “It has been historically dangerous for a man to be vulnerable,” or a pussy. Men’s resistance to explore interior emotions like compassion is the result of hundreds of years of conditioning.
Compassion is indeed an emotional skill that can be trained.”
We understand the benefits. The need is there. But how do we get men to participate in mindfulness and compassion training?

Why Do Men Need Encouraging Words? Men don’t usually wear their hearts on their sleeves, but they’re still humans with feelings. Just like everyone else in the world, they need a daily dose of inspiration to help them push through. YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/wkjnOK8Abyw
Homepage: http://celestefabrie.com
Successful men who, like everybody else, have been tormented by sadness, failures, and disappointments, yet chose to remain steadfast and strong.
Many people think that men are too tough for cheesy, cliché words of wisdom. Others believe that asking for encouragement or support is a sign of weakness. It hurts their pride to admit that they can’t face everything on their one.
The reality is that we are no longer living in the unhealthy stoicism of the 1950s. It’s the 21st century, and masculinity is no longer measured in physical strength or tough attitudes. Men who cry and show emotions are no longer considered weak. Rather, they are viewed as strong and capable.
The world doesn’t don’t need men who can’t swallow their pride and allow themselves to be fragile. We need men who can admit defeat, then have the courage to stand up again and continue the fight.
This is why men need encouraging words and quotes—they need to feel like someone out there understands what they are going through. They need to feel that they belong, and that showing emotions or being affected by sentimental words doesn’t undermine their masculinity.
What are some short positive messages?
“Let your unique awesomeness and positive energy inspire confidence in others.”
“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.”
You will earn the respect of all men if you begin by earning the respect of yourself.
“If you want light to come into your life, you need to stand where it is shining.”
Knowledge will give you power, but character respect.
You should think in such a way that everybody could look into your soul and see what is transpiring there
“Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.”
Pride is much the same in all men, the only difference is the method and manner of showing it.
So go out there guy and redefine your emotions. It is your strength and shows a strong character.

The Story of Baron von Rosenhof - South African Family Clan of Immorality, Brutality and Savagery of the early years in South Africa
Prologue - 15 April 1960
It all began 20 years ago. My life was a physical and mental torture with Jeffrey the aspiring son of one of South Africa's most infamous families. We were not exactly the ideal couple, more likely two unfortunate misfits brought together by some twist of ill-fate. He was 10 years younger than my 40 years. I was already showing the first signs of premature menopause, while he instead, was in the most captivating stage of his life.
His unlimited energy flowed recklessly through his business affairs attracting a multitude of innocent victims. The vulture would swoop down on his prey and devour every last morsel of flesh before he was totally satisfied. My death was slower, more painful because that is the way he got his kicks.
It was a teasing game of hunter verses quarry in the most sadicious, perversive act of wild animalistic behaviour. My cultivated partner, member of the oldest European family living in South Africa, was a rabid beast, mauling at the soft flesh of his prey, abruptly ejaculating his thick steaming juices over my exposed nakedness as the frand finale.
I was weak, a brainless fool unable to defend myself against him. He had this carnel hold over me making our relationship master and domestic slave, a comfortable arrangement that has followed in his family for generations.
A dark imposing coat of arms hung protectively above the majestic steel gates of his family mansion. A roaring lion's head crowned two ceremonial gold swords with heavily diamond encrusted handles supported beneath by the famous iron cross from the German First World War.
The inscription; "Götterdämmerung" - Twilight of the Gods framed the final picture. No stranger knew the terror campaign raging behind those fortified walls and if they did know, their eyes would reflect that horror for decades to come. There was no escape from the archaic dementia of the von Rosenhof clan.
Part 2 to follow. . .

FEAR is the NO.1 Mental & Physical Destroyer of all Mankind. It can paralyse us, give us cancer, make us chronically ill and even kill us if we allow it to! Fear of failure, fear of rejection or fear that we’re just not good enough – fear is a common current that runs through all of our lives. And if we let it, fear can keep us locked up in the prison of the comfortable and predictable, which prevents us from reaching our true potential.
Living in fear causes a double conundrum where you’re unfulfilled with the status quo yet afraid to pursue anything better. But there is also a way that fear can serve a valuable purpose, helping us break through the frustration to achieve the life we truly desire. That’s right – if you allow it to, fear can become a tool for finding fulfillment.
Discover how to stop living in fear – or better yet, how to use fear as your ultimate inspiration. To stop living in fear, you must understand the underlying psychology so that you can actively work against it. To a point, fear and anxiety have a place in healthy human psychology. Acute fear is a normal emotion that signals a potential threat to your physical or emotional safety. If you’re ever in an accident, feel you’re being followed or experience some other immediate threat, you’ll notice your blood starts pumping faster. Adrenaline shoots through your veins. You have a heightened awareness that allows you to take fast action in order to save yourself or others. Acute fear is a natural response that helped our ancestors survive.
There is another type of fear that occurs when the acute fear response becomes hyper-sensitive. It’s called chronic fear or indirect fear, and it occurs when we are continually exposed to low-level yet stressful events. We might watch a lot of news about war, political divisions or the latest disease discoveries, causing us to irrationally anticipate negative events. Unlike acute fear, chronic fear can lower our natural life-saving response and cause us to believe we need to be “saved” by an outside force. Why am I living in fear?
According to research from Harvard, just over 19% of the total population has experienced an anxiety disorder in the previous 12 months. They’re some of the most common psychological issues in the U.S. In the modern world, it’s typically chronic fear that causes our deep-seated anxiety issues, and everything from the media to caffeine has been blamed. But living in a state of blame has never helped anyone solve their problems. It’s time to take ownership of your emotions and transform your life. So, what’s the best way to deal with fear? You must learn to dance with it. 10 Great Tips to help you along the way.

Available in book form. First of a series of unpublished manuscripts of childrens stories with a South African theme. I am proud to share a row of unpublished material written in South Africa during the 1980's. The purpose of these stories and television scripts focus on my country of birth and the interesting facets of my childhood growing up in the apartheid years. All the story podcasts are read in their original form without any changes to the script. Most of the stories have a moral to tell.
I studied at the famous "Institute of Childrens Literature" in Connecticut, USA in the early 1980s. This Institute inspired my writing for children and youth. Thoughts for Today: Why do we constantly need Validation of our Self Worth? Why are we obsessed with seeking approval from others?
WATCH VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCCR9XIq_JA&t=53s
Why do we constantly need Validation of our Self Worth?
Why are we obsessed with seeking approval from others?
Some people need constant validation and approval from others because they're not confident in their own abilities. They're always looking for external validation to feel good about themselves. This can be especially true if they have low self-esteem
Many people are always seeking advice or a sense of confirmation from those many people out there such as family members, friends, social media and so called great experts to give us a feeling of security or self-worth.
Often many of us are faced with bigger dilemmas when we allow ourselves to depend on those many others to rule our judgements and life decisions.
Ask yourself the question? How often have things actually gone wrong in your lives because you were completely dependent on other peoples judgements or advice?
How often have you asked yourself the question why you ignored your own instinctive feelings at that moment and sought out the answers or confirmation from those others around you just to make sure and then completely ignored your own true answers within you that might have saved you a lot of blood, sweat and tears in the long run!
Why have we lost the ability to look within ourselves for the answers? When basically the answers lie deep within us. We just need to get back to our roots. Follow our true instincts just like in the animal kingdom. Normally your past mistakes that keep on repeating themselves in the present will tell you what decisions to make , but we have lost this connection to ourselves.
When you’re driven to achieve solely because you want to impress others, you wind up doing too much, feeling overwhelmed, getting lost in your thoughts about your challenges, people-pleasing, overworking, avoiding making time for yourself, and constantly finding yourself unable to say no.
How do I stop relying on others for self worth? And how To Stop Seeking Approval From Others
Trust yourself.
Stop comparing yourself with others.
Be aware of your actions.
Practice self-love.
Don't measure yourself on the basis of social media likes.
Replace that nasty voice in your head.
Surround yourself with positive people.
Check the accuracy of your beliefs.
Stop trying to please everyone out there.
Learn to say no.
Try to understand why you are constantly seeking approval from others.
Make a to do list.
Keep your goals realistic.
Write down at least 5 accomplishments at the end of the day.
This is why it’s important to focus on how your need for approval and validation of self-worth is holding you back from doing tasks that are important to you. Once you move past this, you’ll be free to achieve and create what you want in life with much less stress, because you won’t be so consumed with worrying about what others think of you.
It is your life so make the most of it!

What causes morning anxiety?
Thinking about everything you have to accomplish during the day, from work to exercise and even socializing, can contribute to the anxiety that you feel in the morning.
While thinking about the day ahead might be stressful on its own, there's a biological process at play too: the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR).
Cortisol is known as the stress hormone because it is involved in the body's response to stress. During the first 30 to 45 minutes that you are awake each day, cortisol levels spike, a phenomenon known as CAR, which can make you feel more stressed in the morning.
While anyone can experience morning anxiety, people with anxiety disorders are particularly susceptible.
"If you're already prone to anxiety, there can be a high level of anxiousness during the morning."
And while anxiety might be useful to get healthy individuals thinking about how to manage their day, it's likely to be more paralyzing for people with underlying anxiety disorders.
The effect of higher cortisol further exacerbates physiological symptoms of anxiety such as increased adrenaline flow, increased heart rate, and increased blood pressure. For someone with anxiety, when cortisol levels are higher in the morning, the anxiety is greater and interferes with the person's ability to think calmly and plan for the day ahead.

The blood circulation or energy flow will go to your head warming up your skin and everything will "tingle" in the upper region of your body. If you do not experience this warmth and tingling in your face then there is a possible underlying problem in one of your glands which should be checked by a specialist. Just try it and see the awesome results! Wake up the 3 very important GLANDS in yourbody today with a very special and simple exercise technique for all ages. 3 life-giving glands. These are the Thymus, Thalamus and Hypothalamus brain regions. Introduction and Live Technique. Dr. Celeste Fabrie - Germany Can be watched on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNFw5xVZ2CQ&t=10s
THYMUS The thymus is a small, irregular-shaped. gland. Close. gland. A specialized organ or group of cells that produces or releases substances (such as hormones, saliva, digestive juices, sweat, tears or milk) to perform different functions in the body. What is the function of the thymus? The thymus gland is in the chest, between the lungs and behind the breastbone (sternum). It is just in front of, and above, the heart. The thymus makes white blood cells called T lymphocytes (also called T cells). These are an important part of the body's immune system, which helps us to fight infection.
Thalamus The thalamus is crucial for perception, with 98% of all sensory input being relayed by it. The thalamus is a small structure within the brain located just above the brain stem between the cerebral cortex and the midbrain and has extensive nerve connections to both. The primary function of the thalamus is to relay motor and sensory signals to the cerebral cortex. It also regulates sleep, alertness, and wakefulness. thalamus contributes to a broad range of critical functions. Therefore, the side effects of thalamus damage can vary from person to person. Some of the most common side effects of thalamic damage include: • Sensory issues such as tingling, numbness, hypersensitivity, • Chronic pain • Vision loss or light sensitivity • Motor impairments • Tremors • Attention problems • Memory loss • Aphasia • Insomnia
3) Hypothalamus The hypothalamus is a small pealike structure but important area in the center of the brain. It plays an important role in hormone production and helps to stimulate many important processes in the body and is located in the brain, between the pituitary gland and thalamus. When the hypothalamus is not working properly, it can cause problems in the body that lead to a wide range of rare disorders. Maintaining hypothalamic health is vital because of this.
body temperature thirst appetite and weight control emotions sleep cycles sex drive childbirth blood pressure and heart rate production of digestive juices balancing bodily fluids
As different systems and parts of the body send signals to the brain, they alert the hypothalamus to any unbalanced factors that need addressing. The hypothalamus then responds by releasing the right hormones into the bloodstream to balance the body. Symptoms of hypothalamus disorders Symptoms of hypothalamus disorders vary depending on what hormones are in short supply. Children might show signs of abnormal growth and abnormal puberty. Adults might show symptoms linked to the various hormones their bodies cannot produce. There is usually a traceable link between the absent hormones and the symptoms they produce in the body. Tumor symptoms might include blurred vision, loss of vision, and headaches. Low adrenal function might produce symptoms such as weakness and dizziness.
Symptoms caused by an overactive thyroid gland include:
• sensitivity to heat • anxiety • feeling irritable • mood swings • tiredness and difficulty sleeping • lack of sex drive • diarrhea • constant thirst • it

Metta meditation is a type of Buddhist meditation. In Pali — a language that’s closely related to Sanskrit and spoken in northern India — “metta” means positive energy and kindness toward others.
The practice is also known as loving-kindness meditation.
The goal of metta meditation is to cultivate kindness for all beings, including yourself and:
Family
Friends
Neighbors
Acquaintances
Difficult people in your life
Animals
The main technique of metta meditation involves reciting positive phrases toward yourself and these beings.
Like other types of meditation, the practice is beneficial for mental, emotional, and physical health. It’s especially useful for reducing negative emotions toward yourself and other people.
What to know about metta meditation
Metta meditation is a traditional Buddhist practice. It’s been used for thousands of years.
Different traditions approach the practice in different ways. However, all forms of metta meditation share the common goal of developing unconditional positive emotions toward all beings.
This includes feelings of:
joy
trust
love
gratitude
happiness
appreciation
compassion
To cultivate these emotions, you silently recite phrases toward yourself and others. These phrases are meant to express kind intentions.
Some examples of metta meditation phrases include:
“May I be safe, peaceful, and free of suffering.”
“May I be happy. May I be healthy.”
“May you be strong and confident.”
It’s important to repeat each phrase with mindfulness. This helps you focus on the phrase and the associated emotions.

What is transcendental meditation?
Meditation is an ancient practice that has roots in Egypt and China, as well as Judaism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Buddhism. Because of the many health benefits of meditation, it’s become a popular modern practice for many as a major part of self-care.
Transcendental meditation is one of the most common meditation techniques, and what makes it unique is its use of mantras. A mantra can be words, phrases or visualizations used during a meditation session to help calm the mind. In transcendental meditation, there are exclusive mantras aimed to achieve a state of perfect stillness and consciousness.
Firstly, let us take a look at the general benefits of Meditation itself
Chronic stress is the root cause of many health problems and can trigger underlying conditions. Meditation is a great tool you can use to calm your mind, obtain clarity and improve your overall mental health by promoting inner peace.

Maraṇasati (mindfulness of death, death awareness) is a Buddhist meditation practice of remembering (frequently keeping in mind) that death can strike at anytime (AN 6.20), and we should practice assiduously appamada and with urgency in every moment, even in the time it takes to draw one breath. What is the meditation on death? Essentially, maranasati meditation consists of a series of Buddhist mindfulness of death practices, ranging from contemplation of the ever-present potential for death at any moment, to deeper contemplations, to the eventual breakdown of the body during the death process. How do Buddhist view death? Buddhists believe death is a natural part of the life cycle. They believe that death simply leads to rebirth. This belief in reincarnation – that a person's spirit remains close by and seeks out a new body and new life – is a comforting and important principle. Awareness of our mortality is not something we commonly contemplate in today’s modern society. We tend to steer clear of this difficult yet important topic for reasons that are understandable. Contemplating death can spark feelings of fear or anxiety, which can be quite uncomfortable. However, mindfulness of death is a powerful practice that, when explored with care, can actually help us to live life more fully.

I have chosen 3 short easy meditations for beginners and those leading a very busy schedule. The first meditation is about 2 minutes and focuses on "finding calmness in you". The second meditation is 3 minutes using "breathing techniques". The third meditation last about 5 minutes and focuses on "body scanning" which will relax you and release all body tensions as well as any aches and pains in parts of your body.
All 3 meditations should be used on a regular basis and adapted according to your busy lifestyle or just do it whenever you feel you need calmness in your life.
PS: You might hear my little dog in the background as she too enjoys participating in meditation exercises :-)

Ten-Step Meditation for Pain Relief Technique
Meditation can help with coping and pain relief. This technique works best if practiced every day for 20 minutes. Here I will review how to do this meditation for pain relief exercise including 10 easy steps that you can practice every day to relieve pain and a description of what you can expect when you do this meditation.
Find a quiet place with minimal distractions where you can be undisturbed for 20 minutes.
Get into a comfortable position, such as sitting in a firm but comfortable chair with feet flat on the floor, legs and arms uncrossed, and hands in the lap or at the sides.
The 10 steps we will practice:
Calm breathing
Passive awareness
Body scan
Noticing and accepting
Focus on breaths
Repeat a meaningful phrase
Noticing and accepting
Passive awareness
Calm breathing
Brief stretch
For a 20-minute meditation session, each step will take about 2 minutes, but it is fine to spend more time on some steps than on others according to your preferences. There is no right or wrong way to meditate; what is most important is to keep a passive attitude, simply allowing and observing without trying to make anything happen. Go through each of these steps in order to do the full meditation for pain relief exercise.
Calm breathing – breathe slowly in and slowly out. Observe each breath and allow your breathing to become deep, slow, and calm.
Passive awareness – become aware of everything perceived by the senses by noticing one thing at a time. Notice one sound you can hear. Notice how your clothing feels against your skin. Notice your breaths. Notice your pain. Observe without trying to change anything.
Body scan – concentrate your attention on one area of your body at a time, starting at the tips of your toes, and moving your focus slowly upward all the way to the top of your head. Observe without trying to change how your body feels.
Noticing and accepting – observe your thoughts without trying to make any changes. Accept each thought that arises and allow it to move on.
Focus on breaths – concentrate on your breathing. Observe each breath as it enters and leaves the body.
Repeat a meaningful phrase – choose a phrase that is meaningful to you and repeat it with each breath in, and with each breath out. Every time your mind wanders, focus again on repeating the phrase.
Noticing and accepting – observe your thoughts without trying to make any changes. Accept each thought that arises and allow it to move on.
Passive awareness – become aware of everything perceived by the senses by noticing one thing at a time. Observe without trying to change anything.
Calm breathing – breathe slowly in and slowly out. Observe each breath and allow your breathing to become deep, slow, and calm.
Brief stretch – open your eyes. Stretch your muscles. Take a moment to reflect on the meditation experience.
What to Expect
During and after the meditation for pain relief session you will probably feel calm and relaxed, and your mood may improve. Your pain is likely to be less upsetting, less noticeable, and easier to tolerate.
With practice you will become more and more skilled at meditating and more easily enter a relaxed, focused state of mind. After just a few days you might start to notice improvements in concentration, memory, sleep, and coping.
As your skills improve further, it is possible to develop the ability to directly eliminate pain through meditating (Morone et al. 2008). Meditation can allow you to become happier, experience reduced pain, and have an overall better quality of life.

Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bronwyn59/message
The Buddhist practice for developing mindfulness is called vipassana, which means “clear insight” or “seeing clearly” in Pali, the language of the Buddha. What follows is a simple introduction to this practice.
Because we so easily get lost in thoughts, vipassana begins with attention to the breath. Using the breath as a primary anchor of mindfulness helps quiet the mind so that you can be awake to the changing stream of life that moves through you.
As you practice, you might find a different anchor, other than the breath, might be most useful for you. Perhaps sounds or maybe the whole field of bodily sensations – or perhaps both listening to and feeling your moment-to-moment experience.
What’s important is that your senses are awake and attention with the breath as a home base, or sounds, or sensations, can help you to know that you’re here.
It is important that you find a comfortable, quiet and understurbed place to practice mindfulness meditation
I have chosen today 3 meditations for you.
. Letting Go
. Mental Clarity
. Self Love

Buddhist meditation was designed not to make us happier, but to radically change our sense of self and perception of the world. In terms of the modern mindfulness movement, the real difference is that Buddhist meditation happens in an overall context, the noble eightfold path, which gives the practice depth and meaning. https://youtu.be/LtxZJ4dbS2Q
Without such a context, mindfulness is still useful, but is more like a healthy mental exercise than a true spiritual path. What is the Noble Eightfold Path simplified? The Fourth Noble truth charts the method for attaining the end of suffering, known to Buddhists as the Noble Eightfold Path. The steps of the Noble Eightfold Path are Right Understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration.
Mindfulness is, however, a specialty of Buddhism. Buddha himself referred to it as “the path to enlightenment. Do all Buddhists do “mindfulness practice”? Many Buddhists do specifically undertake practices meant to cultivate mindfulness. Others may not, but it’s fair to say that the lion’s share of Buddhist practices help produce in us a greater sense of awareness and connection to the people and world around us. The very name “Buddha,” after all, means “Awakened One.”
What are the “Four Foundations of Mindfulness? The Four Foundations of Mindfulness, as taught by the historical Buddha and ever since, are key things that we should practice being mindful of. These are: our bodies, our feelings, our minds themselves, and phenomena / the world around us. By training in mindfulness of these four foundations, we see, more and more, how all of these things really are, outside from our conceptual ideas of them.
Training in the four foundations of mindfulness is training in seeing reality with more clarity and equanimity. We suffer, according to Buddhism, not because there’s anything inherently wrong with us but simply because we misunderstand the nature of reality. Buddhist practice helps us come to terms with reality by cultivating our awareness of the “three characteristics of experience,” also known as “the three marks of existence.” These are: impermanence, suffering, and insight—words that will likely be familiar to anyone who’s read about Buddhism more than a little. Contemplating them, can help liberate us from fear and suffering. Living mindfully and with concentration, we see a deeper reality and are able to witness impermanence without fear, anger, or despair.” How can I get started? What are the basic mindfulness meditation instructions? There’s much that can be said about mindfulness practice, but the basic idea is quite simple.

PODCAST - Blueprint for Success – Young Startups by Dr. Celeste Fabrie This podcast is dedicated to you if you are thinking of starting your own startup company. Great advice for Generations y and z! I will be giving you an overview of the most important dos and donts of the business as well as giving you some good advice.
• But first of all let us define what a Blueprint for Success really means.
• What does „Start Up“ mean?
According to Cambridge: The term startup refers to a company in the first stages of operations. Startups are founded by one or more entrepreneurs who want to develop a product or service for which they believe there is demand.
Generations y, and z are the focus of our discussion today. We will begin with the term Startup. Startup became a popular term in the 1990s and early 2000s business boom with brands like Microsoft or Apple scaling up at a faster pace than ever seen before. Thus, it's also safe to assume that the first startups were the Silicon Valley companies, Startups encounter several unique options for funding. ... Venture capital firms and angel investors may help startup companies begin operations, exchanging cash for an equity stake. In practice though, many startups are initially funded by the founders themselves. We have a lot of digital natives out there who want to be no 1 in the business with their new creative and innovative ideas: For many of you the quicker the better. But this is where the problem often lies as the solid ground work stages are not taken care of. It is like a baby must suddently learn to walk before it even goes through the crawling developmental phase.
Now let us do this little test. There are 20 Questions.
Can you identify with some of these obstacles re your start-up or young business? Just tick the box mentally if this applies to you. (You can check the questions later as well underneath the youtube video description).
Now if you have answered yes to more than 50 % of these questions then you are in serious trouble. This ist he time when we have to recalculate our strategy.
There is a marvellous saying from Schwarzenegger himself which I would like to share with you:
“To be successful, however, you must be brutal with yourself and focus on the flaws.” Now let us focus on those flaws why things are not turning out the way they should.
1.) Here come the dont’s - Why do most startups fail?
According to business owners, reasons for failure include money running out, being in the wrong market, a lack of research, bad partnerships, ineffective marketing, and not being an expert in the industry. Ways to avoid failing include setting goals, accurate research, loving the work, and not quitting.
The main Reasons for F

Stress & Anxiety in Animals and how to recognise these signs in your pets
About 35 million pets in Germany considering weh ave about 83 million people in Germany. The corona virus has increased the number of pet owners in Germany. Last year 2021 was also an unusual one for the German pet industry: Revenues grew significantly in some areas, and the number of animal companions also increased overall: Almost half of the households in Germany now have a pet.
With an aggregate revenue of EUR 4.513 billion, the retail trade in speciality and food products from physical sales outlets enjoyed revenue growth of 4.3 percent in 2020. The revenue component represented by ready-to-eat pet foods came to EUR 3.460 billion, or 4.6 percent higher than in the previous year. Strong gains were also recorded in the supplies and accessories segment, with revenues of EUR 1.053 billion (up 3.5 percent). Online sales added EUR 822 million and feed for wild birds another EUR 128 million. Aggregate revenues in the German pet industry is therefore on the order of EUR 5.5 billion. Animals can experience three types of stress: Physical – due to fatigue or injury. Physiological – due to hunger, thirst or temperature control. Behavioural – due to the environment, unfamiliar people or surroundings. Pets aren’t really all that different from people. Just like their fur-parents, your cats and canines have the capability to get down in the dumps, or, more frequently, suffer from stress and anxiety. Even birds can express unhappiness and stress in several different ways. While many bird owners misinterpret birds' biting as an act of aggression, this behavior is often a sign of stress and fear. ... However, a sudden increase in screaming and screeching may indicate that a bird is stressed, unhappy, or bored. Birds suffer anxiety as well. Anxious birds can startle so severely that they hurt themselves, flying into obstacles. They may vocalize repeated or excessive distress calls. 1 - Biting. ... 2 - Screaming. ... 3 - Decreased vocalization. ... 4 - Feather picking. ... 5 - Self-mutilation. ... 6 - Stereotypical behaviors. ... 7 - Decreased appetite. Now, stress and anxiety aren’t inherently bad; they’re necessary to make your pets aware of their surroundings and keep them safe. Sometimes though, something can cause your pet to become overly stressed or anxious, and this can really start to take a toll on their overall wellbeing. As much as we wish that dogs could talk like the lovable mascots in children’s movies, they can’t - so they don’t have the power to tell us if something is wrong. That means it’s up to their guardian to look for the signals and signs that something has gone amiss. Luckily, the bond that we form with our dogs is a strong one, and this allows us to develop a pretty keen sense of what they’re saying - or what they would be saying - so we can gage whether or not they’re acting like their usual selves based on their typical behaviour. If your dog suddenly starts acting different, it’s a surefire sign that something might be off. Some common signs of stress in dogs include: • Barking excessively • Digestive problems, such as an increased or decreased appetite, changes in stool or diarrhea • Changes in demeanour, from cowering and hiding to becoming more visibly aggressive to humans or animals • Excessive drooling or yawning • Excessive itching or scratching • Changes in physical appearance, such as dilated pupils or ears pushed forwards or back All dogs are different. Some breeds will have similar indicators to watch out for, but no one knows your pup like you do. It’s important to note your pooch's usual mannerisms to mark whether or not they are acting differently, and whether these are signs that your pet is stressed. Signs of Stress in Cats The same very much applies to our cats. Although they have a bit of a rep for being cool and aloof, they too can experience stress and anxiety which can begin to impact the

Dear listeners, today I will be talking briefly about the topic of Cancer and Wellness why it is so important to exercise as a cancer patient and survivor. The podcast and video on YouTube depict some lovely inspiring quotes as well as meditative excercise poses to inspire and encourage you in the healing processes.
You can view this Video to the podcast on YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsslNc5UMgg
I have had cancer 3 times from cervical to ovarian tumors including 2 near death experierences been that I was given up for dead. A priest was bending down over praying over me in my hospital bed and I could not respond. A frightening moment of realisation. Nevertheless I have used my experience and knowledge as a psychologist to treat other cancer patients with numerous cancer conditions from brain tumours, pancreas, breast cancers, prostate cancers and so forth. Some of those patients were terminal but nevertheless we went through different stages together and each phase of their treatments included different exercises to suit which level of cancer they were experiencing parallel to mental training and an adequate nutritional diat program.
I will explain the importance of using Wellness Programs to Support Cancer Patients and Survivors The measurable impact of exercise on cancer patients and survivors is relatively new but growing. One of the most basic recommendations made by experts within the industry who work with cancer survivors and patients is to engage in regular physical activity. At least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week is ideal, along with strength training at least twice a week for cancer patients and those trying to prevent cancer. The key is to avoid inactivity.
Research shows that being active post diagnosis has a tremendous impact on the rate of recovery and survival. Breast cancer and colon cancer survivors have shown a positive impact from safe and feasible physical activity. The American Cancer Society’s nutrition and physical activity guidelines for cancer survivors recommend the following:
• Achieve and maintain a healthy weight
• Engage in regular physical activity
• Achieve a dietary pattern that emphasizes plant foods and whole grains
Exercise has also been Linked With Lower Risk of 13 Types of Cancer.
You’ve heard for years that physical activity is important for your health. You may even know that exercise is important when it comes to cancer: It may lower cancer risk by helping control weight, reduce sex hormones or insulin, and strengthen the immune system; and it can boost quality of life during cancer treatment. Now, a new study from researchers at the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute links exercise with a lower risk of 13 specific types of cancer.

I have practiced these steps with my patients for many years getting them off their medications and working towards a healthier human being.
Anyone can exercise. I explain all the wonderful health benefits that one can achieve through a very simple program.
What are the mental health benefits of exercise?
Exercise is not just about aerobic capacity and muscle size. Sure, exercise can improve your physical health and your physique, trim your waistline, improve your sex life, and even add years to your life. But that’s not what motivates most people to stay active.
People who exercise regularly tend to do so because it gives them an enormous sense of well-being. They feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about themselves and their lives. And it’s also a powerful medicine for many common mental health challenges.
Regular exercise can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, and ADHD. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts your overall mood. And you don’t have to be a fitness fanatic to reap the benefits. Research indicates that modest amounts of exercise can make a real difference. No matter your age or fitness level, you can learn to use exercise as a powerful tool to deal with mental health problems, improve your energy and outlook, and get more out of life.
Exercise and depression
Studies show that exercise can treat mild to moderate depression as effectively as antidepressant medication—but without the side-effects, of course. As one example, a recent study done by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that running for 15 minutes a day or walking for an hour reduces the risk of major depression by 26%. In addition to relieving depression symptoms, research also shows that maintaining an exercise schedule can prevent you from relapsing.
Exercise is a powerful depression fighter for several reasons. Most importantly, it promotes all kinds of changes in the brain, including neural growth, reduced inflammation, and new activity patterns that promote feelings of calm and well-being. It also releases endorphins, powerful chemicals in your brain that energize your spirits and make you feel good. Finally, exercise can also serve as a distraction, allowing you to find some quiet time to break out of the cycle of negative thoughts that feed depression.

Are your relationships been destroyed through dishonest partners or colleagues? This podcast reveals what to watch for through those clever "tell-tell" signs that someone is decieving you, or when even your best friend is lying to you. Imagine you tell someone you have trusted all your life with your deepest secrets and to find out indirectly that this same person has destroyed your trust and your reputation as well as your life, job, possibilities etc all because they stepped over the boundaries by their deceit! 8 LANGUAGES https://www.excellencetalks.com/post/deception-and-how-to-spot-if-someone-is-lying-to-you

When it comes to pathological liars, it is observed that people who have an antisocial personality disorder (APD) and narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) indulge in lying. A pathological liar is often goal-oriented (i.e., Very focused in order to get their way.). They are the most challenging of patient and client to expose!
They often create a great amount of destruction in their paths. The list is long and each one of us have had to deal with family, colleagues, bosses, friends etc. But in my profession it is important to read the verbal and non-verbal behaviour of our clients and patients as well as keep a clear conscious facing dilemmas of all kinds and also human tragedies that people are faced with and where deception is their only way out to feeding their families or survival against all odds.
The digital world has created unfortunately a breeding ground for deceptive practices. Social media platforms encourage this phenomenal development much to the detriment of mental health. We are social creatures wanting to be part of the big picture but at what price?

Podcast „A Shattered Heart“ - How to deal with bereavement
I will be talking about the loss or losses in your life and the recognition of the pain that one suffers. This is not just an average podcast today but a very deep thinking matter which all of us encounter or have encountered in our lives and are still having to face the emotional or devastational consequences. But you are not alone out there.
There are many of us who have o rare going through these emotional, spiritual and physical pains and are seeking comfort with those who understand the deep pains and sufferings that we are experiencing. This is why I have dedicated this special podcast to all of you to comfort you in those hours of grief. “No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear.” “You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.” “Only people who are capable of loving strongly can also suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them.” Let us begin with a short description about loss and what it means in context.
When we undergo grief, we are confronting a natural emotional response to the loss of someone close, such as a family membe, friend, partner, animal or a job. Grief can also occur after a serious illness, a divorce or other significant losses. Grief often involves intense sadness, and sometimes feelings of shock, numbness or even denial and anger. There are proven cases when a long term partner has died that the other dies soon afterwards from a broken heart. This phenomena also takes place in the animal kingdom.
Some of you might have heard about a canary parter who mourns her or his mate and suddenly dies a few days later. Although losing someone close is a highly personal life event, most of us tend to share the same range of emotions and reactions. Realising that these feelings are normal can help you get through such a difficult time. Below you will find four of the more common emotional effects of bereavement. Of course, every one of us is different, and so, the way we cope with grief will differ greatly.
The important thing to remember is that the feeling won’t last forever. Over time, you will come to understand these feelings and know what you need to do to manage them. I will start off with the stages of grief and then go into them in more detail later on in my podcast. But it is important to know what is happening to you on the spiritual, mental and physical levels in order to cope with your emotions which can sometimes get in the way of rational thinking if you are alone and have nobody as a support system. What Are the Stages of Grief? Your feelings may happen in phases as you come to terms with your loss. You can’t control the process, but it’s helpful to know the reasons behind your feelings. All people experience grief differently.

Just close your eyes and listen - Let go of the people who are not prepared to love you. This is the hardest thing you will have to do in your life and it will also be the most important thing. Stop having hard conversations with people who don’t want change. Stop showing up for people who have no interest in your presence. I know your instinct is to do everything to earn the appreciation of those around you, but it’s a boost that steals your time, energy, mental and physical health. When you begin to fight for a life with joy, interest and commitment, not everyone will be ready to follow you in this place.
This doesn’t mean you need to change what you are, it means you should let go of the people who aren’t ready to accompany you. If you are excluded, insulted, forgotten or ignored by the people you give your time to, you don’t do yourself a favor by continuing to offer your energy and your life. The truth is that you are not for everyone and not everyone is for you.
That’s what makes it so special when you meet people who reciprocate love. You will know how precious you are. The more time you spend trying to make yourself loved by someone who is unable to, the more time you waste depriving yourself of the possibility of this connection to someone else. There are billions of people on this planet and many of them will meet with you at your level of interest and commitment. The more you stay involved with people who use you as a pillow, a background option or a therapist for emotional healing, the longer you stay away from the community you want. Maybe if you stop showing up, you won’t be wanted. Maybe if you stop trying, the relationship will end.
Maybe if you stop texting your phone will stay dark for weeks. That doesn’t mean you ruined the relationship, it means the only thing holding it back was the energy that only you gave to keep it. This is not love, it’s attachment. It’s wanting to give a chance to those who don’t deserve it. You deserve so much, there are people who should not be in your life. The most valuable thing you have in your life is your time and energy, and both are limited. When you give your time and energy, it will define your existence.
When you realize this, you begin to understand why you are so anxious when you spend time with people, in activities, places or situations that don’t suit you and shouldn’t be around you, your energy is stolen. You will begin to realize that the most important thing you can do for yourself and for everyone around you is to protect your energy more fiercely than anything else. Make your life a safe haven, in which only ′′compatible′′ people are allowed. You are not responsible for saving anyone. You are not responsible for convincing them to improve. It’s not your work to exist for people and give your life to them! If you feel bad, if you feel compelled, you will be the root of all your problems, fearing that they will not return the favours you have granted.
It’s your only obligation to realize that you are the love of your destiny and accept the love you deserve. Decide that you deserve true friendship, commitment, true and complete love with healthy and prosperous people. Then wait and see how much everything begins to change. Don’t waste time with people who are not worth it. Change will give you the love, the esteem, happiness and the protection you deserve.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world..
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

TRAUMA and its devasting effects on your health and those around you. Never underestimate its harmful mental, physical and spiritual aspects in your daily life! If not treated in its earlier stages it will be your enemy creating an internal prison and living hell for as long as you walk this planet!

The sounds which you hear in my podcast are authentic sirens warning people to take cover in a war context. This can create an awful flashback for those who have gone through war and those who are going through war. But this is not everything. Trauma can show up in many different situations! My podcast focuses on the meaning of trauma and the symptoms one faces when one experiences stress under critical conditions.
I also discuss (PTSD) Posttraumatic stress disorder that can take place due to Trauma. A slight warning here. This is not for the faint hearted. I will begin with a small experiment to help you understand what happens to you when you are faced in an uncontrollable stress situation. In this way you are able to identify to a certain extend what happens to your stress levels and also gives you the opportunity to put yourself in the victims role.
There are many examples going on right now worldwide from environmental changes, pandemic situations, war, refugees on the run, famine and so forth. Whatever happens on a large human scales trickles down to every human being in different ways. When our lives and likehood are threatened our bodies go into protective modus automatically.
The most critical aspects of human elementary survival are: health, enough food, job, family and home. Once that is removed the body goes into stress followed by trauma followed by post traumatic stess disorder. We will start off with an imaginary process and thereafter I will discuss what happens to your biological reactions and stress hormones.
