On July 4th, we celebrate our independence.  Independence is something worth celebrating.  But we should also take time to reflect on how we have used it.  The same is true in the Christian life.  We have been set free.  That is something to celebrate!  So how have we used that liberty?  It's worth asking ourselves.

George Washington is attributed with saying "Many Mickles Make a Muckle".  It's a fun way of saying a lot of little things add up to big things.  It's the compound effect.  In this episode, I want to challenge you to focus on mickles, and let the muckles take care of themselves!

I am really excited about this interview.  I had the privilege of sitting down with a good friend of our family and discussing the realities of being involved in Foster Care.  Many people are scared to death of the prospect of opening their homes to foster children.  Some are afraid of Social Services. Some are afraid of loving the children too much and having a hard time letting go.  Some are just confused about where to even begin.  Tracey did a wonderful job in this interview of painting a picture that should both educate and encourage those looking either to get involved in Foster Care or help someone in their life who already is.  I hope you enjoy listening to this conversation.
