Innovation systematically appears among the three main strategic priorities named by CEOs and top managers. Whilst easy to list as a priority, innovation does require an organisation to unleash the creative capability of individuals, as well as make processes and organisation units as creative as they can be.

Innovative thinking and working must allow individuals to collaborate in ways that enable their ideas to flow easily, and new solutions to emerge and be tested simply.
