Nehemiah 4:10. In doing the will of God, it can be tiring and messy. In spite of it, bring it to God and allow God to clean you in this journey. Find strength in Him to build revival.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." Ephesians 6:10.
We have to journey to encounter and discover the fresh wind that God is going to bring among us. To catch and hold on to it. We are called to be strong in our preparation for this journey ahead.
An Easter message on calling and purpose of Jesus Christ by God. Jesus knew His identity as a Son of God, and His role as a servant too. He knew that there’s only way to please the Father, and that’s through obedience because Jesus loves the Father.
Breaking down the misconceptions and myths around prayer. We’re praying to a living God, He’s not boring. It’s time we discover the language of heaven and learn how He speaks to us.
2 Tim 2. We are encouraged today that we, as disciples of Christ can be called faithful because God is faithful. Have faith and keep the faith to pursue the call of God.
Out of contentment, we are called to give generously. To give with a heart of gratitude and ultimately it’s a call to give to bless lives.
The blessing of serving God is that we are moulded to who God has called us to be, who He wants us to be. Serving might cost us our reputation, but the blessing of serving is to that we discover who we really are.
Acts 1:7-8 Engage intentionally, actively in what God has called you and what He is doing in your life. It starts by engaging in the general will of God in your Jerusalem - that's where you are right now. Trust the process (Your Judea and your Samaria). Out of the process, God will propel you into the specific will of God, Your Ends of the Earth.
God’s calling is for us that we become His disciples. He desires for us so much that He is willing to go to the cross for us. Discipleship starts with belief and it’s a journey of obedience, and it fruits will follow out of this, regardless of season.
1 Peter 1 - We’re called to be set apart so that the world knows God is calling them home.
Kickstarting a new series “ Call Of God”. Recognise that you are first called by God, to God. Keep His commands at all times, be faithful to Him. He is more than enough and true contentment comes from Him.
Let’s March on forward together knowing that God is holding our lives and leading us forward as we avail ourselves as the free will offering to be used by God
We are sons and daughters of the living God, we have to stand in the place where we know God has a promise and a covenant with us. Because we have a covenantal God with a covenantal people (you and me) for a covenantal journey.
Ezra 1:5. Rise up! Return and rebuild your walk with God, your purpose with Him and the community of God. Do you sense the stirring of the Spirit?
A devotional sharing from Psalms 119:9-16. God remains constant admits the ever changing world. His call for us is also constant. The question for us now is "can we remain pure to the call He has for us?"
Joy is in the good news - Christ, the Messiah came for us, for all. Joy of knowing Christ the Lord. He came to give us eternal life, hope, future. That’s the joy He brings.
Matthew 16, to follow Christ is to follow the way of Christ. We have an invitation today to follow Him today so we can live out our calling to be a blessing to this world.
Isaiah 40 - Remember, Surrender, and Wait. In every season in our live, ups or downs - remember that God is sovereign to keep His promises as long as we walk right before Him. Surrender our control to God and wait expectantly on God - this is not a sign of defeat but it's a start of ushering God's strength into your live to do out His purposes through you.
D.R.E.A.Ms will Distinguish you, Release your potential and Encourage you, Affects your prevailing attitudes, and Motivates you. Dreams come through when we have a plan. The questions to us - What is your dream? What do you see God doing with your life? If you've not dreamt of anything - ask God for dreams for dreams do come through, because we serve a Faithful God.
What are you going to do in your life? What does God want you to do with the gift of life that He has given you? Jeremiah 1 - “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Likewise, God knew you, He chose you, consecrated you and commissioned you to great things. There is a unique and specific call upon your life - answer it by submitting your will to God.
We are called to preach the Good News in season and out of season. Paul cites at least eight reasons why we need to keep preaching the gospel. Central to living a godly life is to preach the gospel and make disciples who can make disciples. But how shall we do it? A simple but a clear presentation of the gospel is needed which Evangelism Explosion provides. The pandemic is not the time for us to sit back and wait. Now is the time we find creative ways to share the gospel especially through the digital platform.
Esther 4:14 - "... Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Ever wondered what’s the call of God upon your life? Discipleship allows for you to discover the purpose God has for you? Catch this sermon and hear from two testimonies from amazing women of God about their discipleship journey and a wrap up from Pr. Rachel.
1 Peter 2: 18-25 - Christ did not merely appoint us to start the race but to also end the race. Hardships are part and parcel of life, and Sek Teng encouraged us through Peter's letter to endure hardship by submitting to the Lordship of Christ and trusting God for the result at the end of the hardship. For we endure hardship so that may Christ be revealed through our hardship to others to see. All Glory goes to Christ.
Continuing in the series of Discipleship, Sek Teng shared with us from the story of Peter and his journey of discipleship (John 21). He encouraged us to follow Jesus despite the temptations and the difficulties that may come during our journey of discipleship. Commit to follow Jesus because He, the Great Shepherd wants to feed and take care of us.
Elder Dorai encouraged us from Psalm 90 to number and count our days for eternity and let it count for God because our days on earth are numbered. Through Christ - the frailty of life is overcome by meaning and purpose, the brevity of life supplanted by consecration and death is overcome with eternal life!
Personal revival begins with authentic discipleship. It begins when we become genuine before God, live according to His Word, and do what He did. Let’s put away our old selves that entangles us in sin and embrace the grace that God has given us so that we may live new lives for Him.
The goal of discipleship is experience the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge to know how much Christ love us. It is also to be filled with the fullness of God and it’s in the context of eternity - an ongoing journey until we meet God in heaven. A journey where Jesus begins to dwell in us and our inner man is being transformed to the image of Christ. Don't be fascinated with information, rather get hold of revelation. Thats where transformation takes place. In this journey, we are to be grounded in love. In love, the fullness of love, and it’s to be understood with a community. Discipleship is about togetherness in a community, where we share our faith, our experience, testimonies to everyone. Each one of us - being encouraged by one another. The challenge for us - personally commit to a personal discipleship and be part of a small group and if there were past experiences that was hurtful - allow God to heal you in this process as well.
Hebrews 13 - If we depend on the Great Shepherd and move forward with God equipping and in all of this - we will see God work through us and we'll be a blessing to those around you.
1 Cor 7:17-24. Remain and planted not buried for growth. Faithful to the Godly assignment, focused to His commands and grateful to His calling.
John 2:1-11 | "Obedience is not measured by our ability to obey laws and principles, obedience is measured by our response to God's voice."
Invite Jesus into your situation and obey like servants and you will see God's supernatural working in your live.
EasterAtYM - Mark 16. Victory, conquerer, triumphant, overcomer, champion - are all part of God's plan and gift to His children. Signs and wonders doesn't define your victory. Your expectation on how things should turn out does not determine you as a loser or victor. Your journey constant struggle does not mean victory is not there. Victory is when we are in Christ. Through Christ, we are assured of this victory in the game of life. All we need to do is to BELIEVE. Through Christ we have this capability to move from tragedy to triumphant.
The grace of God - one of the most beautiful things that God gifted to us. Elder Dorai shares from 1 Peter and encourages us to commit ourselves to God through prayer. He then encouraged us to walk, serve, respect and live in this grace that we have received. Standing in grace = standing in the person of Jesus Christ.
In turbulent times, Sek Teng share with us from the book of Jude verse 20-25 on how we can persist in your faith. This is done by building our faith, praying in the spirit, looking for God's mercy and showing mercy to others. As we persist in our faith unceasingly daily, the promise of God is that Jesus is able to keep you from stumbling away from the purpose. He will be there to guide you, pick you up, more importantly, He will be there with you in this journey.
Romans 4:18-25 (NIV). True strength begins with humility and surrender. Only through humbling ourselves, to acknowledge and have faith in God's ability that we can endure hardships. Knowing and having the faith has to be accompanied by works as it is written "faith without works is dead". God is looking for the response from us, those who are willing to collaborate and corporate with His plan. Lastly, it's through the victory on the cross that we can have the strength to endure hardships - it's done and sealed. Strength begins when we receive God's victory.
Sharing from the story of Noah and the ark that he was instructed to build by God before the judgement in the form of a flood was about to be sent. Noah built the ark intentionally, amidst all the slander, fake news, and lies - he still intentionally persistently built it. Because of this, God set a new covenant with his family. Additionally, God remembered Noah and all that he has done. At the start of Noah's new life (stepping out the ark), he set an altar before the Lord. Similarly, we are to build the ark (personal altar with God) intentionally, enter the ark together with God, place God before everything.
Romans 15:13 - Our source of hope is in God and God alone. A blessed hope is a sure hope, a hope we can trust and the powerful hope in God and God alone. The promise of God is that God will bless you and make you a blessing.
Continuing our series of "HOPE" in this Christmas season - We ought to magnify our hope with thanksgiving and His rescuing power because that's who our Saviour Jesus is. In this Christmas season, let's remember that we can put our hope in God because He can never fail you. Magnify our hope in God in this season and the seasons to come.
HOPE - There is still HOPE for you, it's not lost! What do we put our hopes in? As seen in the Gospel of Luke - Mary put her hopes in hope in God's purpose and in God's power for her (those things are unshakable!) and we should do the same.
Matthew 14:22-33 - speaks about our confidence is not about our ability to walk through life but it's on God's ability to save us. And the fact is He wants to save us.
Philippians 1:1-11 - The Book of Philippians talks about gratitude and contentment. We are to be grateful and contented all times regardless of the circumstance because gratitude is about trusting God and knowing that He will come through for you. Gratitude is a gift of knowing Christ.
From Nehemiah 1:11 - BlessedToBeABlessing is what we, as disciples of Christ are called to do. As we're entering a new season with spiritual gifts to bless, may God also give us His heart. So, we can see what He sees, hear what He hears, feel what He feels and may we be a blessing to others.
04 October 2020 - We're embarking into a new season with gifts given by God. These gifts are not meant for self-consumption but it is meant to flow through us as blessings unto others. At the end of it all, it is to give glory to God, the giver of the gifts.
26 September 2020 - Our inward intimacy with God should overflow outwardly. The outward overflow will attract others to Christ. May we be found as a man after God's heart - just as God called King David, a man after God's heart.
20 September 2020 - 1 Kings 19, Elijah's encounter with God shows us that a heavenly encounter with God is an assurance of His presence. It presents us the power of His purpose and the comfort of His people.
