Keith and Vinnie are two college-educated Xennials that like to talk about Politics, Social Issues, Pop Culture, and Professional Wrestling.
By now, we were really hoping that Covid wouldn't be the first thing we talk about every week, but it is still here. And be careful who you send a text to about over throwing the government. And let's talk about video games and movies, because that is fun.
Thanksgiving is coming up, but it didn't start the way we learned it in school. Let's face it, History is never taught correctly in our schools.
We were live on Twitch for this one. Wrestling kicked off the show talking about the latest WWE releases and ROH going dark for a while. Then we talked about the evils of Elon Musk (and some of the good). Then finally Vinnie ranted about the elections. And we signed off about 5 times at the end because we just kept talking.
Lithium mining, batteries, exploitation of workers, the end of humanity. Yeah, I went pretty dark pretty fast today. But Vinnie brings it around talking about the best 30 minutes of TV.
I think at this point, it is clear that we can't wait for the Star Trek Utopian future where we don't have to worry about money, or shelter, or food. We just aren't looking forward to what has to happen before that.
It's been a year in a lot of ways but for us, it's been just about a year since our first podcast. And this podcast got deep on a lot of subjects really fast. On this episode, we talk about website cookies and media literacy. What happened to all the big news stories from last year? Can we get rid of Daylight Savings time already? And we talk some Sci-Fi and a wrestling dream match.
Good news on the vaccine front for people with kids. Border Patrol not being nice to people. We need Police Culture reform. Does anyone read these?
We are back from a couple of weeks off. Maybe this is season 2? Who knows? In this episode, we talk about Afghanistan, horse dewormer (cause who hasn't taken some? am I right?), and of course we have to talk about Texas and their restrictive abortion law. We also take a time out to look up some wrestling info.
Vinnie is back in the US, and we are back in your ears. We talk about the biggest story in the world right now the government collapse in Afganistan. After 20 years, the US military pulls out.
Delta, it's the new Covid. Gets your shots and mask up.
And somehow, we became a self-help podcast and talked about how to lose weight.

Vinnie is in England making this our first international show. We have been off for a couple of weeks, but we are back. But you know what hasn't left us this whole time? COVID! It's still here and we are still talking about it. And we are also talking about kids playing football (American style). Lastly, I finally watched Loki, so we can talk about that.

We started this show not knowing what we were going to talk about and ended up hitting many topics. In no particular order we talked about, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Firefly, WWII, WWI, The Vice President, Twitter, Social Media, and much more.

Should states be giving prizes away for getting the vaccine? Should governments be forcing down commercial flights to arrest journalists? How sexy is too sexy at a parade?
In this episode, we talk about the new CDC guidance and how it isn't the clearest thing in the world. The good news is that the pandemic is almost over, well, for the US anyway. For part of the US. There is still a lot of work to do, but things are looking better. And please, cite your sources when making an argument.
The Gaza strip is being fought over again and we talk about how people should be able to live together and be nice to each other. And to spin off of that topic, how people misuse religion to justify their actions. And what will people do with all those garbage bags full of gas?
This episode is 90% Vinnie. One, because he wanted to talk about Racism and also because I had to take a Benadryl before the show because of all this pollen in the air.
Biden addresses a joint session of congress and we talk about some of the good things he wants to do, like expanding public education. But we start with youth sports, my experiences so far coaching a coach pitch team, and why it's about teaching kids the fundamentals and to have fun.
We've been gone for two weeks and there have been a lot of shootings during that time. We talk about gun violence and culture, a police officer has actually been accused of a crime, and dont' forget, corporations will always do things to benifit their bottom line.
This week, we are coming a day early. We talk a lot about wrestling, give our thoughts about the Derek Chauvin trial, and let's not forget Falcon and the Winter Soldier, plus a lot more.
I don't care what anyone says, getting to 20 episodes of a podcast is a big deal. Other big deals, Georgia suppressing votes, and another mass shooting. What's good? Comic book movies and shows! Vinnie gives his thoughts on the Snyder cut.
This episode starts off on a tangent about music, protest music, corporate versus independent radio, etc. Then, sadly we have to talk about the hate crime of those murdered this week in the Atlanta area, which then leads to a discussion about sex workers. And we laugh yet again at the idea of Cancel Culture (which isn't a thing)!
Keith is really struggling with people's hypocrisy. It's geek time as we talk about Civilization VI. And there will be Spoilers when we recap the end of WandaVision.
CPAC happened, and conservatives worshiped a Golden Idol. Do they know what irony is? Science apparently doesn't exist in the south as Texas opens the doors and throws away their masks. Dr. Seuss is canceled. No, he isn't, they are just going to stop making 6 books out of a lot so calm down people. Plus we talk about automation and everyone's favorite future super villain, Elon Musk. Next week, we have promised to talk about video games.
This year's CPAC theme is cancel culture, but who is doing the canceling? What will Trump say in his speech? I hope he plays the hits. Your potato toys don't have a gender anymore, and honestly I just care if they taste good. And let's talk about WandaVision because it might be the best thing on TV.
More talk about transgender athletes in high school because this is important and won't go away until people have a better understanding of what gender is and stop being transphobic. AOC shares her story of the capital siege and people call her a liar! The almighty dollar is what really controls the media. And defiantly don't violate copy right laws while talking about the big game.
Why do people have such a hard time understanding and accepting people who are transgender? GM is moving to a fully electric car fleet by 2035, but are we too late to reverse climate change? GameStop is doomed in the long run, but it's worth a lot right now and rich people aren't having it.
We have a new president, and despite the fears of the right, we have not turned into some socialist utopian society overnight. Well, not any more than we already are with our public roads and schools and all. In this episode, we talk about the good things that Biden has done so far. And conservative media never stops its attacks. Also, have you watched Wanda Vision? We have, and we are going to talk about it.
In just a few short days, Joe Biden will be president. But Trump, not be outdone by anybody, has become the first president to be impeached twice. Is this the right thing to do, will he go to jail? Will Joe pass his recovery bill? When will this pandemic come to an end? We don't know, but we have ideas.
A cold open as we break right into the middle of a conversation about the current state of the wrestling industry. And then we might be talking about some big news event that happened on January 6. That's right, Georgia has two democratic senators. And, oh BTW, crazy people stormed the nation's capital building.
This week, Vinnie and Keith celebrate the arrival of a Vaccine and then quickly fear that people won't get it. And Texas is messing with our democracy and why are so many republicans ok with it? The government doesn't understand the Internet. And apparently, we really like Kohls.
We tread into women playing in sports with men and trans issues. We might have made a mess of it, but we are allies! In other news, is Bill Barr going to get fired? Will Trump run in 2024? Why do people have to spend some much energy hating other people?
In this episode, we welcome Brett as our first guest of the show. Brett teaches us a thing or two about sports betting.
And then, Trump continues to do shady things with the election. Vinnie talks about how it's so easy to fall for a conspiracy theory. Good news about a vaccine on the way. And we end the show talking about Unions and Wrestling!
Biden really did win the election. What does Trump do now? Does he do his job? Will he golf forever?
Also on the topic list, the benefits of universal healthcare, the Internet as a utility, kids learn a lot more than we used to, Sci-Fans like the EU, and we end on a positive topic of quality children's TV programming.
It's Friday morning, Nov 6, 2020, and Biden looks like he will be the next President of the United States. But the counting isn't over, and some people (Trump) think that there is something odd going on here. Keith and Vinnie break it down, how are the numbers turning out? why did the polls get it wrong again? Can we just stop with the electoral college already?
Episode #5 is coming out just 5 days before the 2020 US Presidential election. Vinnie and Keith remind listeners that it's your choice to be on social media, don't forget to vote. If Trump loses, will he sit there and watch Biden get sworn in or will he fly off to another country never to be seen again? Why do black people keep getting shot by the police? How easy is it to end homelessness? Yes, we talk about a lot of stuff, but it all makes sense to us.
P.S. I recorded this at work and didn't have my hard drive with the theme music, so, no music. I also didn't have my good mic.
It was the last presidential debate of 2020 and Vinnie and Keith have a lot to say about it. And let's not forget the other big news of the week, The Pope says gay people are ok.
Keith and Vinnie talk about the questions with no answers of the person will probably be our next Justice, is it a town hall meeting if there is no town, cheap Halloween costumes from our 80s childhood, and our favorite Royal Rumble moments (hint, it's not John Cena). Plus all of the side tangents that pull the conversation astray.
Keith and Vinnie talk about the Vice Presidential Debates, Trump's COVID Problem, 80s Horror films, and Blood in Professional Wrestling. And at some point, Keith blames Woodrow Wilson for WWII. Now that's a hot take.

On this, the very first episode of Generation Xennial, two college friends, Keith and Vinnie reconnect. Topics in this episode are all over the place. We talk about politics, we talk about Antifa and how we should all be against fascism. Without question, we say that we are against White Supremecy. Find out what we think about social services and capitalism, and some thoughts about professional wrestling today. Like most Pilots, we are finding our way in the writing and will have some more structure next time.
