This week began in earnest. Tuesday brought about the monthly Lions Club meeting occurng at the Rittman Library, beginning with a very well informed and dedicated 15 year old Rittman High School student giving a presentation on the preservation of the train depot next to the CSX tracks.

On the phone I have with me Tara Boler, who has been doing her homework with constructive suggestions on how to remedy the situation. It will not be easy, but I asm sure we can "keep it positive in the 44270" and produce a workable solution.

The first episode of the new year has me mulling on a Facebook question about downtown Rittman. I say embrace what we have and make things attractive for others to come in.
I almost didn't do a podcast this week. I was thinking about this one last week as I was reading a book on my Kindle app, titled I Dare You, by William Danforth. This is a book that was originally written fot the Boys and Girls clubs. Books dares people to be their best and develop themselves to do so. So, I took 13 minutes daring the town I love to be their best. I used no notes or script and shot from the hip.
