Join us on an inspiring journey with Dr. Myranda McGee Golla, a chiropractor whose life story is nothing short of miraculous. At just 12 years old, a devastating car accident left her with chronic headaches, debilitating back pain, and scoliosis.
Facing despair and searching for relief, she turned to chiropractic care as a last resort—and it changed everything. Drastically reducing her migraines, it sparked a life-altering decision: to become a chiropractor herself. She pursued rigorous studies at Parker University, earning multiple degrees in Human Anatomy, Health and Wellness, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Despite finding relief from migraines, her battle with daily back pain persisted, just as she was resigning herself to a life of pain, a seminar on Nutrition Response Testing revealed a new path. Discovering that her pain was linked to dietary factors, immune challenges, and toxins, she began a transformative journey towards healing through nutrition and holistic practices.
Now, equipped with the knowledge of Nutrition and Quantum Nutrition Testing, Dr. G is dedicated to helping others uncover the root causes of their health issues. Her journey has not only healed her but has fueled her passion to empower others to take control of their health naturally.
In this podcast, Dr. G shares her personal struggles, triumphs, and the profound impact of holistic healing in her life. From overcoming chronic pain to launching an online platform guiding others to natural headache relief, her story is a testament to the power of persistence, holistic health, and the transformative impact of pursuing one's true calling.

WE CELEBRATE THE POWER OF AUTHENTICITY AND PURSUING YOUR DREAMS
DENNY DISCUSSES HER EXPERIENCES OF TRYING NOT TO LISTEN TO THE NAYSAYERS AND BREAKING FREE FROM THE APPROVAL TRAP ISN'T ALWAYS EASY.
WE SHOULD DO IS SPEND IT CONFORMING TO SOMEONE ELSE'S IDEA OF WHO WE SHOULD BE.
REMEMBER, THE CRITICS AND NAYSAYERS ARE OFTEN THOSE WHO HAVEN'T DARED TO PURSUE THEIR OWN DREAMS. "THE PERSON MAKING FUN OF YOU ARE THE PEOPLE NOT DOING AS MUCH AS YOU. SO DON'T LISTEN TO THEM."
BY LIVING OUR TRUTH, BY REFUSING TO CONFORM TO THE EXPECTATIONS OF OTHERS, FORGING AHEAD, DETERMINED TO CARVE OUT MY OWN PATH, TO LIVE LIFE ON YOUR OWN TERMS. WE'VE NOT ONLY FOUND FULFILLMENT IN OUR OWN LIVES, BUT WE'VE ALSO INSPIRED OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.
WE KNEW IN OUR HEARTS THAT THIS WAS THE LIFE WE WANTED TO LIVE—THE LIFE THAT FELT MOST AUTHENTIC TO US. AND DESPITE THE DOUBTS OF OTHERS, WE TOOK THE LEAP.
BY DARING TO DREAM, BY REFUSING TO LET THE DOUBTS OF OTHERS DIM OUR LIGHT,
WE'VE ALREADY TAKEN THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS ACHIEVING OUR GOALS.
DON'T LET THE DOUBTS OF OTHERS DIM YOUR LIGHT. YOUR DREAMS ARE VALID, YOUR ASPIRATIONS ARE WORTH PURSUING, AND YOUR VOICE DESERVES TO BE HEARD.
JOIN US NEXT TIME AS WE CONTINUE TO EXPLORE THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF LIVING LIFE ON YOUR OWN TERMS.

INFLUENCER MARKETING IS A FORCE IN SHAPING CONSUMER BEHAVIOR AND DRIVING PURCHASE DECISIONS. THINK ABOUT IT—WHEN YOUR FAVORITE SOCIAL MEDIA PERSONALITY RAVES ABOUT A PRODUCT, DON'T YOU FEEL COMPELLED TO CHECK IT OUT? THAT'S THE POWER OF INFLUENCERS IN ACTION.
THIS GOES BACK TO BRANDING AND THE POWER OF A PERSONAL BRAND IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS A BUSINESS BRAND. THINK, MR. BEAST. AND HIS PRODUCTS AT WALMART.
LOOKING TO TAP INTO A NEW AUDIENCE. PARTNERING WITH AN INFLUENCER WHO SHARES YOUR COMMITMENT NOT ONLY ENHANCES YOUR BRAND'S CREDIBILITY BUT ALSO OPENS DOORS TO A COMMUNITY OF LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS EAGER TO EMBRACE YOUR PRODUCTS. BRANDS THAT DO THIS CREATE A FOUNDATION OF LOYAL FOLLOWERS WHO ARE SPREADING THEIR BRAND BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT, USE IT, AND LOVE IT.
FINDING THE RIGHT FIT:
BUT HOW DO YOU IDENTIFY INFLUENCERS WHO RESONATE WITH YOUR BRAND VALUES AND TARGET AUDIENCE? IT'S ALL ABOUT DOING YOUR HOMEWORK. DIVE DEEP INTO THEIR CONTENT, ENGAGEMENT RATES, AND AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR BRAND ETHOS. YOU COULD REACH OUT TO THESE ACCOUNTS AND OFFER YOU SEND THEM A FREE PRODUCT AND IN RETURN FOR A REVIEW. WHEN I REACH OUT TO BRANDS, I WILL USUALLY SAY, IF YOU LOVE THE PRODUCT AND SHARE WHAT YOUR FEEDBACK, WE WOULD LOVE IF YOU COULD TAG US... THAT WAY THE CUSTOMER GIVES YOU THEIR TRUE FEELINGS. THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO GET TESTIMONIALS YOU CAN TURN AROUND AND SHARE! I USUALLY LOOK FOR INFLUENCERS WHO ARE USING A PUBLIC ACCOUNT, BECAUSE THEN THEIR RESPONSES WILL BE PUBLIC AND SHARABLE. ANOTHER OPTION WOULD BE USE YOUR CURRENT CLIENTS, MAYBE THERE’S A CLIENT WHO IS A PUBLIC ACCOUNT THAT IS ALREADY KNOWING AND USING YOUR PRODUCTS.
THIS IS METHOD WILL COST YOUR IN THE FOREFRONT, BUT WE ARE HOPING THAT IT WILL HAVE A LONG TERM IMPACT THAT IS POSITIVE. REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE REACHING OUT TO BRANDS AND OFFERING TO WORK WITH THEM, YOU ARE GOING TO GET MORE NO’S THAN YES’S. KEEP THAT IN MIND, DON’T GET DISCOURAGED, PLUS SOME MIGHT NOT EVEN RESPOND!! SOME REASONS ARE, WHEN YOU ARE COLD CALLING, REACHING OUT TO AN INFLUENCER THAT YOU DON’T HAVE A CONNECTION WITH, IT FEELS SALESY... TRY TO INTERACT WITH THEIR CONTENT FIRST BEFORE YOU REACH OUT, YOU WANT TO BE ON THEIR RADAR, GIVE THEM WHAT THEY NEED, ENGAGEMNET, ETC BEFORE YOU ASK.. REMEMBER GIVE GIVE THEN ASK... THIS METHOD IS A TRADE OF GOODS.
BY HARNESSING THE POWER OF INFLUENCERS, YOU CAN ELEVATE YOUR BRAND MESSAGE, EXPAND YOUR REACH, AND EMBARK ON A JOURNEY OF ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. IF YOU HAVE A PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE REVIEWED I WOULD BE HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU! GET OUT THERE, SEND A MESSAGE AND LET’S BEGIN THIS NETWORKING!

CRAFTING CONNECTIONS: CREATING YOUR BRAND'S STORY
WELCOME BACK TO DENNY TALKS, TODAY WE DIVE INTO EXPLORING THE VITAL ROLE OF CRAFTING A COMPELLING BRAND STORY.
EVERY BRAND HAS A STORY, BUT NOT EVERY STORY RESONATES WITH ITS AUDIENCE. TODAY, I'LL UNCOVER THE STRATEGIES FOR CRAFTING A BRAND NARRATIVE THAT CAPTIVATES AND CONNECTS.
SO WHAT IS A BRAND?
AN IDENTIFIABLE REPRESENTATION OF A COMPANY.
A BRAND IS THE PERCEPTION CUSTOMERS, EMPLOYEES, AND THE PUBLIC HAVE ABOUT A BUSINESS. THE EXPERIENCES, INTERACTIONS, AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE BUSINESS.
WHY IS STORYTELLING SO CRUCIAL IN BRANDING AND MARKETING?
STORYTELLING IS THE HEARTBEAT OF SUCCESSFUL BRANDING. IT HUMANIZES THE BRAND, ALLOWING CONSUMERS TO FORM EMOTIONAL CONNECTIONS. WHEN DONE RIGHT, IT CREATES LOYALTY AND ADVOCACY.
WHO ARE YOUR TALKING TO?
GO INTO YOUR SOCIAL PAGE AND UNCOVER YOUR IDEAL CLIENT. WHEN YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS, IT MAKES IT EASY TO CATER YOUR CONTENT TO YOUR CLIENT BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEIR PAIN POINTS, YOU KNOW HOW THEY RESPOND, AND IT FEELS MORE PERSONAL WHEN YOU SHARE.
HOW CAN BUSINESSES IDENTIFY THEIR UNIQUE BRAND STORY AND VALUES?
IT STARTS WITH INTROSPECTION. BRANDS MUST UNDERSTAND THEIR ORIGINS, THEIR MISSION, AND WHAT SETS THEM APART. CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH AND LISTENING TO CONSUMER FEEDBACK CAN ALSO PROVIDE VALUABLE INSIGHTS.
THOSE ARE VALUABLE TIPS. NOW, HOW CAN BRANDS EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE THEIR STORY ACROSS DIFFERENT MARKETING CHANNELS?
CONSISTENCY IS KEY. WHETHER IT'S THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, ADVERTISING, OR CUSTOMER INTERACTIONS, THE BRAND STORY SHOULD REMAIN CONSISTENT IN TONE AND MESSAGING. VISUAL STORYTELLING, SUCH AS VIDEOS AND INFOGRAPHICS, CAN ALSO ENHANCE ENGAGEMENT.
CRAFTING A COMPELLING BRAND STORY REQUIRES AUTHENTICITY, CONSISTENCY, AND EMPATHY. BY UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF STORYTELLING, BRANDS CAN FORGE DEEPER CONNECTIONS WITH THEIR AUDIENCE.
JOIN US NEXT TIME AS WE EXPLORE MORE WAYS TO CRAFT MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS THROUGH STORYTELLING. UNTIL THEN, KEEP CRAFTING YOUR BRAND'S STORY WITH PURPOSE AND PASSION.

WELCOME BACK, TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF DENNY TALKS, THE PODCAST WHERE WE DIVE DEEP INTO TOPICS THAT MATTER TO ENTREPRENEURS AND BUSINESS OWNERS. I'M YOUR HOST, DENNY, AND TODAY WE'RE DELVING INTO A SUBJECT THAT'S NEAR AND DEAR TO EVERY MARKETER'S HEART: LEVERAGING SOCIAL MEDIA FOR BUSINESS GROWTH.
SOCIAL MEDIA HAS REVOLUTIONIZED THE WAY BUSINESSES CONNECT WITH THEIR AUDIENCE. WITH PLATFORMS LIKE INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, AND LINKEDIN, THE POSSIBILITIES FOR REACHING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS ARE ENDLESS. BUT NAVIGATING THIS EVER-EVOLVING LANDSCAPE CAN BE DAUNTING. THAT'S WHY TODAY, WE'RE GOING TO BREAK IT DOWN INTO ACTIONABLE STRATEGIES YOU CAN IMPLEMENT RIGHT AWAY.
LET'S START WITH AN OVERVIEW OF THE POPULAR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND THEIR DEMOGRAPHICS. INSTAGRAM, WITH ITS VISUALLY-DRIVEN CONTENT, APPEALS TO A YOUNGER AUDIENCE, MAKING IT PERFECT FOR BRANDS TARGETING MILLENNIALS AND GEN Z. FACEBOOK, ON THE OTHER HAND, HAS A MORE DIVERSE USER BASE, INCLUDING OLDER DEMOGRAPHICS, MAKING IT SUITABLE FOR A WIDE RANGE OF BUSINESSES. AND THEN THERE'S LINKEDIN, THE GO-TO PLATFORM FOR PROFESSIONALS AND B2B COMPANIES LOOKING TO ESTABLISH THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AND NETWORK WITHIN THEIR INDUSTRY.
NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT CREATING ENGAGING CONTENT. THE KEY HERE IS TO KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE AND TAILOR YOUR CONTENT TO RESONATE WITH THEM. WHETHER IT'S EYE-CATCHING VISUALS ON INSTAGRAM, INFORMATIVE ARTICLES ON LINKEDIN, OR ENGAGING POSTS ON FACEBOOK, THE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE VALUE AND SPARK CONVERSATION.
BUILDING A STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE TAKES TIME AND CONSISTENCY. REGULARLY POSTING QUALITY CONTENT, ENGAGING WITH YOUR AUDIENCE, AND STAYING TRUE TO YOUR BRAND'S VOICE ARE ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF SUCCESS. REMEMBER, IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS YOU HAVE, BUT THE QUALITY OF ENGAGEMENT YOU FOSTER.
BUT HOW DO YOU TURN THOSE LIKES AND COMMENTS INTO TANGIBLE RESULTS FOR YOUR BUSINESS? THAT'S WHERE DRIVING TRAFFIC, GENERATING LEADS, AND INCREASING CONVERSIONS COME INTO PLAY. BY STRATEGICALLY USING CALL-TO-ACTIONS, RUNNING TARGETED ADS, AND LEVERAGING ANALYTICS TO TRACK PERFORMANCE, YOU CAN TURN YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE INTO A POWERFUL LEAD GENERATION MACHINE.
IN CONCLUSION, SOCIAL MEDIA IS NO LONGER JUST A NICE-TO-HAVE FOR BUSINESSES; IT'S A MUST-HAVE. BY UNDERSTANDING THE DEMOGRAPHICS OF EACH PLATFORM, CREATING ENGAGING CONTENT, AND IMPLEMENTING EFFECTIVE MARKETING STRATEGIES, YOU CAN HARNESS THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROPEL YOUR BUSINESS FORWARD.
THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY'S EPISODE OF DENNY TALKS. I HOPE YOU FOUND THESE INSIGHTS HELPFUL IN YOUR JOURNEY TO LEVERAGE SOCIAL MEDIA FOR BUSINESS GROWTH. AS ALWAYS, DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE EPISODES, AND FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR TOPICS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE COVERED IN FUTURE EPISODES. Courtney decided to pack up her bags and move across the county with her pets. Corbin, an Oklahoma native, joined the Navy in 2015 as a corpsman; spending his time in Virginia, California and Japan. The couple met in September of 2021 and have been inseparable since. Together, they have a full house with a cat, 5 dogs and 20 chickens.
The average age of the American farmer is currently 65 years old. Lazy C is owned by a woman, and a veteran, card carrying tribal member, both under the age of 30. We are incredibly proud that we are adding to the gender, age and ethnic diversity in the agricultural industry.
Out of 10,000 veterans in the United States, 21% were experiencing homelessness at the start of last year. Veterans make up about 6 percent of the population of the United States but 8 percent of the country's homeless population. This program is being created to help decrease those numbers. In 2020, the overall unemployment rate for veterans was 6.5%. This program will offer job opportunities to veterans who held a job in the military that doesn't correlate with a career in the civilian sector. Our program is unique in that we are hope to better the lives of service members. Not only are we offering a transitional ease and a new career to the military members, but we are striving to offer housing and a living stipend to the veterans going through our program so that way they are able to focus on their education with less financial stress.
With the help of our program attendees, we hope to offer top line beef. We are actively building our herd but have finally reached the point where we are taking orders on quarter, half and whole beef. If you are interested, please send us an email and we will set you up.

Farmers feed the nation, but sometimes it is hard to know how to support your local farmer and rancher. Today's episode we talk about repurposing products you create or grow for other uses.
We grew corn. This year, I am bundling the corn stalks to use in our fall festival as decorations and put them up for sale for others to purchase for their own fall decor at their house.
Along side talking about our experiences of gardening....which are not entirely successful, we are starting to share our ins and outs of putting on a festival and what that entails!
My goal with our ranch is to continually share our experiences. Often times I see events that are ran that are 10 years old, 20 years old, etc and I often compare myself to their 10th year when I am on year 2... I want to share with you what we are learning, that way if you're interested in replicating something, you know some hidden secrets from someone who is learning it in realtime.
Another part of why we share is because a lot of what we do holds our entire heart. I think it's important to share your why, how you do something, and invite people to be apart of what you're building because it allows them to know just how thoughtful you were in placing a pumpkin patch in this location, building a place to take photos year after year, and when someone can see the steps, they can feel excited to be apart of the finished product.
Life is not always pretty. We have a tremendous amount of work ahead of us and it often gets rocky, but those moments of sharing are just as important as the picture perfect moments.

From **Jennifer Holt's podcast called, classroom exit strategies podcast
"As a former teacher, you possess so many unique entrepreneurial skills and qualities. And while starting a business may be enticing to some people, it can also be a scary thought. A multitude of questions swirl around in your mind including...
• Can I actually start a business of my own?
• Will I be successful?
• How will I know what to do?
• Where will I get customers?
These are all valid questions, but ones that can ultimately, paralyze you to the point you stay frozen with fear. Unless they don't and you allow the grit and determination you have in your soul to move you toward your goal.
Today on the podcast, Lauren Denny from Simply Stained Shop is sharing her journey from teacher to successful entrepreneur. And as with most former teachers turned entrepreneurs, she didn't start out with a plan to leave the classroom.
But her story is unique in that she has not only created a successful business with her husband, she now employs her mom, dad, and others, has a podcast, and runs a ranch! Learn why she chose to leave the classroom, how determination and support pushed her farther than she thought possible, and what she has learned along the way.

Hold onto your wool...Lauren cries in this one. :) Let's all acknowledge that yes... she does this, it's nothing new.
You'll be hearing the first hand accounts of the hardships encountered this winter during lambing season. Lauren pulling her first lamb from Agnes, and a customer walking up ready for a tour of the ranch. Yup, that's right, talk about timing!!
But actually, the timing was perfect, it was a beautiful conversation that was had at the timing I needed to hear it about passion, learning on your feet, and remembering just how far you have come even coming from knowing little to nothing.
I leave you with, become passionate and be bad at something. If you're afraid of doing something because you believe you're too old to learn, you're wrong and that's why I am always awkwardly sharing about what we are learning along the way, because I believe there are so many of us out there that don't know how to garden, pick a horse's hoof, how to pull a lamb, etc etc and the list goes on. This doesn't just apply to farming, this applies to life, we are not perfect we are all learning something new.
Cinnamon and her husband Jade raise black angus cattle in Northeast Wyoming. They are firm believers in two things, Good Cattle and Good Business. They believe their good, maternal ,cows make ranching easy and the good business principles they have learned from others in the industry make it possible.
Cinnamon is a self development junkie, a stay at home working mom to two cowboy kids, a website designer, and one of the founders for Ranching. FYI. She is also very active on Instagram where you will catch her brainstorming with business owners, chasing their new border collie puppy, or drinking a now cold cup of coffee. Cinnamon loves sweets, creating, cooking, and anything in the color Army green.
Don’t worry though Cinnamon is far from perfect and let’s you know that with her common misspellings, imperfect sayings, and overall all realness of life. Join Cinnamon and let’s find something Good today.

It's here! 2022, I have come to the realization that I am NOT a new year's resolution lady....what I am is, INTENTIONAL.
I have learned that setting the right intention for how to show up makes a difference,
if you're intentional about HEALTH, instead of your resolution of... "loosing___pounds."
I found myself showing up differently when I had my head on straight because I wasn't obsessed with the number I was intentional about drinking water, getting moving, eating foods that filled me up not just because I was bored.
if you're intentional about WEALTH, instead of your resolution of... "Save an extra $100 a month"
instead...choosing to eat at home instead of going out to dinner and making small changes that lead to extra change in the bank.
Am I rambling or is this making sense? Maybe it's not, but it helps me. I used to say, I am going to drink a gallon of water a day....that lasted 7 days and then I a fell off the bandwagon and felt crummy that I didn't accomplish my "goal" instead of the underlining purpose for drinking a gallon was to have health become a focus.
So, choose a WORD for your year, choose a FOCUS, a way to SHOW UP.
Happy New Year!
It's a question I am asked often, HOW?
How did you get to where you're at? Inside today's episode we talk about your intention, keeping your focus on your intention and going after it even if you're fearful.
I believe that you can do it, it's not too late to make a change in your life if it's something that you are continually drawn towards.
There's a reason you're drawn something, think of it as your calling, and therefore, you should make it happen. You should make it your mission to do what you have to to get there.
How though?
Listen in... did we give you some insight, is it achievable for you?
What you do matters. What your intentions are make the difference.
Best wishes, Lauren Denny
Jacy speaks AG. Growing up in the agriculture world Jacy shares that when she speaks to ranches/farms the same common terms come up…

“I don’t know if I have the time to do it myself”
Jacy shares some of her tried and true tips and tricks that you can apply today to help your operation be successful through social media avenues.

Laura talks with us from South Dakota sharing her story of living a rural ranch life. She speaks about having many irons in the fire to allow the ranching business to continue is important. We diversify as much as possible.
Laura is passionate about sharing stories about women in AG and how women are in it and all roles may be different.
Her motto is, "Never stop learning, never."
She says that, a lot of times in ranching, you go by what the generation did before….there are new ways, the world is different now…we have to adapt and learn, or you’re gonna be out.
We discuss the hardships of living on a ranch and that there’s no way you do this without being emotionally invested. Having a soft heart while having strong shoulders, and having that balance. Trying not to get so callused that you lose the joy in this life too.
It's hard to see the hard, but if we don’t share then there’s a misinformation that ranching is this ideal romantic lifestyle.
People can connect with Laura at www.laurahicks.org or my Instagram @laura_a_hicks
Laura’s family was in the ranching business since the day she was born. Her dad had a cattle ranch as well as being a veterinarian before she was a twinkle in his eye. So, you could say she comes by the love of animals naturally.
She would sit and tell her dogs and horses stories from the time she was old enough to say a sentence. She realized she was a “talker” early on when she couldn’t even keep her mouth closed long enough while racing along on her horse to prevent swallowing way too many bugs to count!
Laura ranches with her husband and two sons in western South Dakota. They raise cattle and sheep. She also loves to train Border Collie’s to work livestock. She’s still telling them stories while they work. Watching a good dog work livestock is truly poetry in motion.
Over the last few weeks I have had the opportunity to meet people from around the country and I have noticed that I enjoy going DEEP into conversations with people to really get to know who they are and what they are all about.
These people that I have had the pleasure of meeting I can see them have an extra pep in their step when they are chasing a dream and they have given themselves the permission to try something they have never done before. Someone is building their dream house, someone is saving money to afford fencing for their acreage even though they have always lived in the city, another family is sharing the stories of how animals bring their family such joy even when the cows get out.
I am excited for you. I am proud of you for going after your dreams. I know that if you buy the yarn at the store because you always want to learn, if you pick up the pencil and draw again, if you save up and decide to leave the city even though you don't know anything about farming, I know you will feel exited and proud of yourself for doing it.
Good job, keep your head up.
We have never done this before, but here is our brain dump of how we are starting our first fall event! We dream of having out ranch as a location for local merchants and farmers to come sell their hard work. We want to be a platform for the community to come together and celebrate a good time!
Join us Oct23rd 10am -6pm for the first annual fall festival at simply country ranch!
Today we share the inner-workings of setting up a live event from SCRATCH and Lauren sharing how she is often talking herself down from being overwhelmed to try and remember that everyone has to start from somewhere. The generations of fall festivals did not start MASSIVE and ELABORATE, they started small, they STARTED and that's what matters.

What happens when you're gone off the farm for the day, a week, a month?
This last few weeks we have been absent on this podcast because one of our family members have been in the hospital. This prompted the question, WHO or HOW will the ranch still run?
My piece of advice, invite your friends, family, neighbors to join in on your daily routine just in case someone needs to step in. I know if you're like me, you LOVE your farm life, and being away from the farm isn't something that happens often. I know sharing your routine and inviting others to your farm might be something you can do the next time you socialize to invite others to join in on the farm life, I know they will love it!
Thanks for listening!

Ben and Lauren share their knowledge of starting a fruit orchard. They share where to buy trees, types of trees, pollinators, combatting fungus and planting problems.
Ben and Lauren share their take on growing hay. The pros and cons of having their own equipment vs buying or having others bale their pastures. They touch on watering, types of hay, versions of bales, square or round, and a few funny stories about baling mishaps.
Tell us in our social platforms, are you team square bale or round bale where you live?
You can do it! Start with a few you get at an agriculture store during spring time. Chickens are one of the animals I would say are an "easy" keeper since they require a relatively inexpensive feed, they are smart so they can put themselves to bed, they help you manage your land, and you get a return from egg laying chickens.

Today, we talk about setting up your vision for your farm and how that determines how you will layout your farm. We knew we wanted cattle and a hay field therefore, we started with fencing that would accommodate those goals.
Tell us your goals, what fencing you have, and what animals you want to add to your farm on social. Simply Country Ranch on Tik Tok, Facebook, or Instagram.
Welcome to the first episode of Simply Country. My name is Lauren and my family started a farm. I did not like the idea of moving to the country. Although, my husband, Ben, kept talking about it and we finally decided to go look at a few properties nearby. Being on a little piece of land, I started to entertain the idea of what it would be like if we did move, and that got me really excited.
We are here to share our journey, the knowledge we have acquired, and want to learn from you about all things country! Thank you for being here. I would love to hear from you on social, facebook, instagram, or tiktok with your ideas for this show and potential guests you'd like to learn more from.
