Hello to my listening audience around the world. You have successfully clicked on what would effectively serve as my newest installment, Fire Burns Dimmer. I do usually like to upload an episode every week, which would in theory, make me a week late. In the last two weeks, I have secured another Japanese Sabrina's Gengar (a minty one) at a local Pokemon card show, I have amassed a VHS movie collection worthy of admiration and respect, also I have become a surfer. Apocalype Now was already in my Top 3 movies all time, if not my favorite? That was before I became a total surfer bro. That movie, Colonel Kilgore scenes in particular, mean so much more to me now that I shred monster waves and munch total grindage. I've been a busy bro to say the least. Searching local treasure troves for VHS movies has taken up most of my free time. Just today for instance, I was able to secure Shrek 2, Blow, a vintage Pokemon with 3 episodes on it as well as a sealed copy of Beauty and The Beast. Between Pokemon and VHS lately I've somewhat fallen off of the vinyl grind. Had the thought that my next pickup should be the Evanescence album with Bring Me To Life on it. So what. Hope you enjoyed yourself Frankfurt. Jump up and down Singapore. To the bros in Dubai I've always wanted a Peregrine Falcon as a pet. Maybe one day I'll DJ a New Year's Party at a resort in Dubai and take Oil Stocks and a Falcon as payment. Who knows. Until next time

Hello to my listening populous via the internet. This episode contains little to no rhyme or reason as I have just conducted a list of songs that I would like to sit here and listen to. Testing to see the audible difference since adding the subwoofer to the setup. I do have to tame the bass in certain songs in post, running them through an EQ because the bass is entirely too wicked and I'd hate to blow Keisha's speakers. For those of you out there who speak Pokemon, I am still sweating from a trade that I did earlier today with a fella who, deservingly, is locally referred to as 'Zard King'. I have humbly approached him seeking his council before, but this time was different. I approached him loaded with my good card binder and we bartered. I parted with my Aquapolis Umbreon, Japanese Dark Zard, and the Psyduck question mark promo for a super minty copy of my favorite card in existence, the banned Japanese version of Sabrina's Gengar. It's my favorite for multiple reasons. It's Gengar, it's banned and has Christianity tied into it. Crosses serving as gravestones in the Japanese version alone make this card awesome to me. Very few Pokemon cards have Christianity portrayed in them and Gengar being one of the absolute bros? It's hard for me to feel bad about this one. Has a swirl on it. I'm a swirl at this point. Completely swirled out the game. No big deal. Let me stop niche mogging and go to sleep. What's actually good Keisha. Singapore. Frankfurt.

Welcome to what will effectively serve as my newest installment. Slowing it down this week with Melancholy Magnet. Some of my signature slowed and throwed examples, some sad songs and a new take on my world famous Close To You mashup. This weekend I managed to work some overtime hours, swing by a Pokemon card show, show off my silky smooth jumper, AND blast another podcast for you, my cherished listening audience. Singapore, I'm with you in spirit. Somebody PLEASE sing Jai Paul karaoke over there. Crank the volume too. KEISHA I'm excited for Carolina football and my boy Billy. Come October, I'm snubbing my nose and looking the other way in disgust. I often wonder what Hubert Davis is doing with his summer. But, by all means Keisha, continue without me. It's fine. The Chicago Bulls, Belichick and this binder of Pokemon cards will make things okay. Since when is this Jim Rome is Burning. Nobody cares about my sports opinions, I once said Derek Carr was going to win the MVP and he was cut from his team a few weeks later. Derek Carr took my order at Outback last week. Nobody reads these things anyways. No big deal. For those of you who care about my personal life? Other big news is I have developed a massive VHS collection and that is how I prefer to spend my free time at this point so if it is not a life or death situation? Or you didn't find a gob of vintage Japanese Pokemon cards? Leave me alone so I can finish my VHS copy of Jurassic Park.

Today I went by the record store for the first time in probably two months. My time recently has been saddled with the responsibility of being the sickest Pokemon bro in the Metro area. For those who speak Pokemon, I traded in some vintage Japanese that was difficult to part with.. I did so in efforts to secure an Aquapolis Umbreon holo from 2002. It has a swirl, as well as Orion in the holo pattern and I couldn't be more fired up about it. Okay back to reality. The record store. I traded in some old motion picture soundtracks, some old rock and roll stuff. The Eagles Live record that sounds like it got hit by a bus. With my store credit, I left with Fred Again's USB002 album and now my subwoofer is currently smoking a cigarette. Thank you for clicking on my podcast, I hope you enjoyed it. Until next time..

This is absolute atmosphere, an episode focused on properly breaking my subwoofer in and letting it get accustomed to the types of bangers that I blast for you, my precious listening populous. In a most shocking recent discovery, I have found that Singapore is the number one city around the globe that has downloaded my podcast. On behalf of myself, the arch bishop of this organization.. I give a heartfelt thank you to all of the complete units in Singapore. Frankfurt, Germany you are not forgotten. Like Reece Bobby said.. "I was high when I said that. You can be 2nd, 3rd, 4th.. Hell, you could even be 5th." No shame in 2nd place, Germany. I still love y'all bunches too. I'm overjoyed with the expansion of this institution. My favorite portion of this installment is definitely the Myspace Demo versions of the Jai Paul songs. You have clicked on what will duly serve as the newest installment from the absolute bro. In the last week, I have purchased and successfully hooked up a new subwoofer. A welcome addition to the ambiance of the podcast room. I now have a color changing lamp, four orchids, and a subwoofer surrounded by Pokemon figures. Life is good. This week alone I have boosted my Pokemon card collection substantially while also managing to trade undesired Pokemon cards in for store credit at a video game store, in return leaving with 3 vintage Game Boys and $70 remaining credit at the store. Wooooow. My name on my Pokemon Blue Game Boy is JuanDon and I already have a level 53 Charizard named Flokaflame.. After the honorable Wake Flocka Flame. In other news.. I was rooting for the Spurs to come back in the NBA Finals and make an interesting go at it, but I can't even be mad. Down 30 in the Finals at home in Madison Square Garden, out steps the highly favorable Wu Tang Clan. The group performs, then the Knicks proceed to rally around the Wu and complete the largest comeback in NBA Postseason history. I'm not mad. RIP ODB, Wu Tang is for the children. Hello my loyal listening populous, welcome to another installment by the honorable bro. This is an installment based around my fancy carrying case that holds my favorite records. All genres, obviously. Lightnin' Hopkins, Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Jai Paul, Fred Again and more of the usual suspects are featured in this episode with no surprise. I have recently went back and watched some really good movies lately. My parents were in town and while they were here we consumed Kicking and Screaming (RIP Robert Duvall), Beverly Hills Ninja and Sandlot. All of which hold their comedic value til this day. After my parents left, in my depression I watched the first three Pirates of the Caribbean flicks and I have to say.. Those surprisingly surpassed my expectations and I'm glad that I revisited them. I always liked the Davy Jones character and I totally crush it as Jack Sparrow for Halloween. In separate news, I CRUUUUSHED it with Pokemon cards this weekend. Picking up vintage Japanese copies of both Dark Charizard and Sabrina's Gengar. Woooooow. WHOOOOO needs this beating. Thank you for being here. Yuuuurp.

To try and inspire myself I looked at the stats of the pod. Clicked around and discovered a few things that are wicked hot. In the history of my tenure as a disc jockey.. All I need is someone to listen to my podcast at the North Pole and I'll have spanned the globe with my disc jockey audio radio thing we got going on ova hea now. Greetings to my loyal listening populous across the interwebs. Welcome to The Chosen One, an installment based around my favorite hip hop artist, Jay Electronica. I was supposed to go to an Electronica show last week that was canceled. This Jay-centric episode, however, is not cancelled. I hope someone out there enjoyed it. My favorite part of this eppy might actually be one of the intermissions. Action Bronson's new song Triceratops is right down my alley. I had a huge smile on my face watching Paul Wall in the music video. Also, outside of the Jay stuff, the A$AP Rocky Westwood freestyle over Everything I Am might be the most lyrically impressive example from this installment. In other news, I have been a menacing presence to the local Pokemon market as of late. This weekend alone I came up at least $800 probably somewhere closer to $1200 and I couldn't be more fired up about it. Crushing it solo but the past few weeks have been making super sick connections in the scene that will catapult me to local glory in no time. Hello to my friends and loyal listening populous via the interwebs. Welcome to Birds Come Home, what would effectively serve as the newest installment from your favorite C-List internet disc jockey. This weekend was RSD. Record Store Day for you absolute lames out there. I had it in mind all day but I didn't set up a lawn chair on the sidewalk or pitch a tent at the store. I had other extremely important plans that superseded my need to pitch a tent at a record store. I was busy advancing my position in the Pokemon realm. My game is undeniable at this point. More game than an arcade. I did make it to the record store with an hour to spare before close. I didn't leave with anything particular to RSD but I did leave with a sealed copy of Fred Again's Actual Life 2, which has been at that record shop in the same spot for a while now. I was waiting for an extremely tasteful local individual to pick it up. I was secretly hoping to look for it one of these times and find someone had bought it. That someone was me on RSD. A nice memory. This was a nice episode to me, I can't really pick a favorite part because most of it wasn't half bad. Maybe the Isley Bros on 45 take the cake with That Lady because of how distorted and synthed out the guitars sound on my copy. Thank you as always for lending me your ears and trusting my musical taste. Insider baseball, we're actually doing it Keisha. Checked recent stats and we're building in numbers. It's been around 4 years but finally seeing some growth. Almost 700 downloads this month and I'm extremely grateful and fired up about it. Serious thank you to whoever clicks on these things. I have no clue why Be Yourself and Solo aren't sequential on the Blonde album. The sudden stark contrast is beautiful. That's why I blast them B2B all the time if there was anybody out there wondering. Keisha, to get further in depth about the UNC hire.. Last week before anybody even said Michael Malone's name I was having a conversation at work. Out of nowhere I said "You know who I really like?? ... Mike Malone from Denver". I randomly remembered Malone and didn't consider him as a real possibility. I really do like and believe in Mike Malone. That being said, I'm still out. Out of respect for Hubert Davis and what is right. I reluctantly hand in my fandom resignation letter to the UNC basketball program. I will remain a fan of the football program for now because I saw Randy Moss was at their practice today. Who cares anymore. Relocate the Dean Dome. Name it something else and reallocate the building use it for a bird sanctuary or an indoor pickle ball extravaganza. Build a whole new arena 40 minutes off campus, let's name it the Hasbeen Center and let's do everything in our power to break the longstanding tradition of excellence and moral obligation of this beautiful history filled organization. Let's leave it in ruins. The great Lenny Rosenbluth passed away and I don't feel too good myself. God bless Michael Malone best of luck but I wash my hands of this nonsense. I know he was an assistant coach to God Shamgod's run to the Final Four with Providence. I UNDERSTAND THAT. I understand that he was the offensive architect for LeBron's Cavaliers years. What I also understand is that I was force fed the Carolina Family thing my whole life. I bought into it and I will refuse to bow to this foreigner from the north. I humbly resign. Hello to my fantastic listening audience across the internet. Welcome to the latest installment of my podcast. I've been a busy boy this week. Mourning the loss of a head coach, paired with the end of the season for the Heels, planting a flowerbed and exponentially expanding a Pokemon collection in a weekend really can take it out of a fella. I watched the first half of the Dook Uconn game today and left the house in an upset storm around halftime to deal with my Pokemon affairs. Left the house angry because Duke was winning by 20, not thinking in the least that Uconn would come back and have one of the best finishes I've seen in years. Wow I do love this game. My favorite time of year if I'm being honest is still the fall because of the trees in the mountains. BUT March is a close second because of things like that Duke Uconn finish. March Madness makes it fun to be alive for a month. I did finish dead last in the bracket pool that I entered. Saint John's let the boy down. Tough cheese. I hope some individual out there enjoyed the episode. Honey Bee by Muddy Waters and company really kicks the mule. Prince on Plectrumelectrum is suuuuch a nice tone and still to this day, Jimmy Page playing No Quarter at The O2 Arena in my opinion is the best example of guitar playing that one could offer. Whoever reads this, God bless. But you're here so what the heck. In four months I've managed to find and maintain a loophole in the Pokemon card world that has allowed me to catapult rather quickly to an impressive collection. A card shop owner this week told another customer that I most likely have more than enough to become a vendor at card shows. I believe that he is right. To give a visual, it is currently 5 full binders of modern, 2 full binders of vintage and a huge tote box full of the more fancy stuff. All sorted and organized. I felt like the Daywalker at that card show this weekend absolutely going nuts in there and balling out of control. No shame at all. I'm a 33 year old man with more game than an arcade. I handed an ol boy a handful of cards for trade value earlier today. I read this guy like My Side of the Mountain. After seeing the top 3 cards in the stack, buddy looked up at me like I was Neo in the Matrix. "How did you know I liked this stuff?" his question to which I replied "Who doesn't like that stuff"? He gave a trade value offer and I cracked buddy for a nasty Mewtwo. WHAT AN EAR BEATING. The point is, I almost didn't have time for my ever-faithful listening audience across the inter webs because I was too busy balling out of control. Submitting this at midnight like Cinderella. Hello to my loyal listening audience around the globe and welcome to my newest vinyl listening experience via the inter webs. Another master mix of somewhat modern melancholy musical choices. The Weeknd live at the Mod Club in 2011 is really something but I believe my favorite slice of this episode is the chopped and screwed portion of Child's Play. I've made video edits to that particular chopped and slopped version. Earlier today I fought off the masses and braved the elements in extreme efforts to expand my Pokemon portfolio. With no cash in hand, I entered the conference floor quipped with not but 7 Phantasmal Flames hanger packs that I scouted at my local Dollar General over the weekend. Using them and my charisma as ammo, I managed to hold until I found the perfect scenario. An old unassuming binder on a Vendor's table suddenly turned from an extremely ordinary book into a paradise for my eyes. Mid 2000's era bangers that most likely haven't been price checked since the Obama admin. I picked out what was agreed upon to be fair, clutched my new cards, turned around and smiled like a James Bond villain all the way to the car. I'm on fire, Keisha. Enough of my non sensible ramblings about the inner workings of a middle aged Pokemon master. I hope some human being out there somewhere enjoys the episode.. I'll be here next time

Hello my friends and welcome to another edition of my vinyl show. This installment revolves around my Frank Sinatra 45 collection. Some of my favorite old pieces and live performances. Sure, some of them sound terrible but get over it. I really enjoy them and it's what I wanted to do ova hea now for this episode. It did run a little short this week but I didn't want to play every Sinatra record or dig too deep into the Tony Bennett bag. Once I get to a certain spot in the Bennett bag you know Dean Martin and Jerry Vale's greatest hits will enter the chat and by that point it's all over. The Close To You mashup I expanded this episode to contain the Sinatra, Stevie Wonder talkbox live, Frank Ocean on vinyl and one of Ocean's live performances of the song from a few years back. As much as I like Burt Bacharach, the original version of the song is absolute garbage and will never see the light of day in my mashup. Sorry, Burt. The poor unassuming people have no idea that I'm publishing this podcast, putting on a sick hoochie daddy fit and I plan on kicking the door down at this card show. Taking the place by storm. No prisoners no mercy. Today I happily expand my Pokemon portfolio as a 33 year old man with no friends and absolutely no hint of a love life. Getting ready for this card show all I hear in my head is Russell Crowe. "Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so. Hold the line. Stay with me. If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium and you are already dead. Brothers.. What we do in life.. Echoes in eternity." Maybe I'll be a super sick internet disc jockey forever in Elysium's comparative platforms to the interwebs. Maybe I'll forever be a super sick bro that totally crushes the local card scene of the Everafter. Not selling, but I am bringing some old stuff from my childhood to show the Brodie that works at the store. Just showing up to gloat my KD, Harden and Steph rookies. Some Jordan inserts. Whatever. Listening to an old podcast recently, some fellas played Hand of Doom by Black Sabbath on vinyl and spoke about it. I had to cold open this joint with the Ozman and blast a rock episode out of respect. Second, John Bonham on the 1's and 2's sounds so good on the 180 gram wax. Really clean and heavy. Very full tom sounds. Two of the best examples of that being displayed here in Whole Lotta Love and Moby Dick. In the editing process, I crushed the air drums during Linkin Park to the point that I'm supremely confident I'd be able to set the house on fire playing that song on a drum set. It's almost flower planting season and I'm fired up. I pulled weeds in the flower bed today and I'll most likely start the pre seeding process this week. Wooooow. I've devoted my afternoons and weekends lately to expanding my ever-growing Pokemon card collection. No new vinyl pickups lately but I plan to go to the record shop this week and I'm sure I'll leave with something. Itching for some new 45's. For those wondering, I counted today and just a sneak peek into my Pokemon collection. I currently own 39 various Charizards, 80 Pikachus varying in value of course. But still. I'm fired up about it. Completed one of my favorite sets, the Radiant set. It's small, not very difficult to do. But I like them and who cares. Thank you for being a super sick loyal listener of my radio installments. Outside of the Jai Paul Anniversary alt version bangers at the end, that Randy Travis 45 record slowed and throwed was my favorite portion of this wicked hawt installment and I'm all hot and bothered about it. To this day, the original test pressing of Styx's Mr. Roboto remains my favorite 45 record in my collection to slow and throw, but these slowed country tunes are so sick. Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain by Willie, Take Me by George Jones and now this one by Randy Travis just to name a few. I looked for Randy Travis slowed and throwed on the internet and found one example but it sounded like trash so this is the only place serving up a nice slice of game like that. The only game around town. I did get approached while shopping today by the president of a local 37 and under arena football organization. A put together, well spoken man that was naturally drawn to the aura of myself and my friend. He kindly introduced himself along with his cause, being that of keeping middle aged men off of the streets and doing the most to prepare them for the next level, seeking donation to help his cause and to benefit the grand scheme of his local football league. Little did he know, he was speaking with the best quarterback prospect in the building, with possibly an expandable radius of within 2 square miles, and the best long snapper/pocket protector in the Tri State area. I throw darts, people. An all-out aerial assault disguised as an unassuming local internet disc jockey. My friend that was with me can Olympic squat a mid size SUV and I've seen him do morally questionable things that let me know for sure, he is the perfect candidate to cover the blind side and let Juan Don go absolute Uncle Rico in the pocket and put on showtime for the masses. If I go on to have a famed local career in the arena football league, don't say I didn't call it. George Herman Ruthless in the pocket firing quick dirty cheese into the flat. Other than daydreaming about scrambling for first downs in the 37U league, I did manage to pickup more Pokemon cards today like a complete degenerate. It's embarrassing that I'm balling out this hard on Pokemon but I guess I could be doing worse things. God bless the person that reads this whole thing. Until next week..

To be completely honest I was never one to buy the whole sham about Valentines Day. I feel like Valentine's Day was made for the bros that can't cover the spread. A much needed buffer day in many relationships, I'm sure. But, me sitting here in my disc jockey chair, I see it as bogus propaganda subjugated upon the clueless lower and middle class by big chocolate and flower corporations. Maybe that's why I'm scratching my cheese alone in a room sorting Pokemon cards on Valentines Day. But who am I? Not Copernicus, that's for sure. Don't follow my philosophy or adhere to my theories unless you want to be a similarly neglected middle aged man holding his knees in a podcast room with full plans to retrieve a pint of ice cream immediately after this upload and watch Indiana Jones alone with my dog on Valentine's Day. Insider baseball.. The most expensive record that I currently own is a 2015 RSD release of Jay Electronica's Exhibit A and Exhibit C. The picture disc featuring a picture of Nikola Tesla that only pressed 1,250 copies. I noticed that Jay Electronica is doing a show near me next month and I am purchasing VIP meet and greet tickets to hopefully get this thing autographed and tell Jay that his music has moved my life in a positive light. Hello my friends and welcome to another edition of my vinyl record radio disc jockey on the internet type thing we got going over here now. I've been snowed in the house for going on 3 days and I'm not a fan. Starting to develop the first symptoms of cabin fever, which was the title of a really nice mixtape that I rather enjoyed from Wiz Khalifa back in the day. This episode serves as a rock and roll example featuring familiar sounds to this podcast. Multiple examples of Hendrix, Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, some being vintage originals and some being new remastered 180 gram wax. You can't slow and throw every rock song but when it works it works. Good googly moogly Nutshell by Alice In Chains slowed and throwed is something to behold. A catapult into your feelings. Followed up by slowed and throwed Blink 182?? Get out of town. Just the other day my faithful space heater that I've had for a long time finally went kaputz right before this blizzard hit. Thankfully I did replace it but I didn't think I'd need a big one. This has been a mild winter so I bought the tiny heater. My little pigs are frozen but hey this little soldier has been kicking I'm proud of my little heater. We're doing our best to fight through and make it til the spring. I'm all sorts of fired up about replanting my flower bed wooooooow what a beating what am I even talking about. Welcome to the newest installment, Exhibit B. A Hip Hop episode showcasing some of my favorite records in my collection as well as some new pickups and first time plays on the podcast. Niche finds like Dem Franchise Boyz and Chamillionaire really get me all kinds of fired up. Insider information, I saw a cheap copy of Suffocate by J Holiday on vinyl recently and best believe that will be here soon. Not a single individual is interested, but for the last two weeks I've been amassing a Pokemon card collection that could stop traffic. Yes I am a 33 year old man but it's not creepy at all because I opened first edition, base, jungle, fossil and team rocket packs myself in real time in the 90's at the KB Toys in Berkeley Mall so don't tell me what I can and can't do with Pokemon cards. It's in fact, genuinely wholesome that I took the time and effort to build my childhood collection back to something admirable. I will say this. If I still had my childhood collection in good condition I could purchase a home outright and own a business from Pokemon profit. It's not quite to that level yet, but this Gengar and Mewtwo are siiiiiiiiick. Thank you for being here and enduring my nonsense. Stay warm and I'll be here next time

When consulted last week by a childhood buddy of mine, I was chosen as acting consigliere for his line of inquiry concerning the beginnings of a record collection and turntable area for his home. My response was to show him my setup on FaceTime and proceed to flip through examples that would pull the heart strings. The Mike Jones clean album sampler, Paul Wall People's Champ, Dem Franchise Boys promo album. Things of this nature. Which looking back now, I really wish I featured those and some others on this installment. I did manage to find Chamillionaire's album for $20 recently, worth a lot more on online, and it sounds great. I might just have to blast a 2000's Hip Hop eppy for next install. This buddy of mine that called isn't just anybody. He is the most reliable point guard that I ever played organized basketball with and he is the person that showed me BTSTU by Jai Paul for the first time while playing Halo 3 at my first apartment when I was 18. Super sick inside baseball. Yoshinobu Yamamocheese. I am a middle aged man that went to a Pokemon card show TWO times in one weekend. My love life is in complete shambles and boring me to tears. I did manage to flip $80 into a $600 collection in two days so oooooweeeeee I'm on fire and we don't need no wata. Hello my friends, welcome to another edition of DJ Witwicky's radio show. Happy New Year to all loyal listeners and Keisha. For Christmas, the previous installment was a rather melancholy display of the blues, Lightnin' Hopkins in particular. Now for the New Year, my newest dance episode. Combining old and new, obscure and corporate. More importantly, I have recently updated the Feng Shui of the podcast room. This is what I've wanted this room to look like for years. It only took a tapestry display ladder, bluetooth lamp and a blooming Zygo Cactus to get where I needed to be. I'm basically aura farming in this room at all times now. Another addition, I was given a vintage CD player that looks like a turntable for Christmas which serves as a welcome addition to the Tower of Power. For those wondering, my pre-existing CD collection includes an original release of Channel Orange by Frank Ocean, multiple copies of Kanye albums some unopened, an autographed CD from The Weeknd, Linkin Park - Jay Z collab, multiple from Zeppelin and Sabbath. I've been eyeing Harmon Kardon receivers and speaker systems lately for the final upgrade to the pod room. Hello my friends across the interwebs. After an extended hiatus, here I am with a new blues installment just in time for the holidays. The next few days I will be smoking cigars, watching an assortment of fantastic DVDs that I bought recently, cramming sweet treats into my yap and thoroughly enjoying myself just as an abandoned middle aged man should do. This desolate path of solitude does have it's perks. For instance, I just turned the volume all the way up and blasted Future at midnight because I wanted to jump around with the dog for a bit. This week alone I've watched The Outlaw Josey Wales, Home Alone, The Bourne Identity, The Da Vinci Code and Scarface on Blu-Ray. Multiple football games and the UNC Basketball game as well. Being alone on Christmas does in a way feel like Tyson Fury just socked me right in the kisser. BUT I do get to watch football with the dog, scratch my toes and listen to Black Sabbath records so it's FINE. I did get a super sick tapestry for Christmas too so I'm on fire over here. Keisha I hope you get to rip into something super duper sick tomorrow. I might get myself another Christmas present or two. Insider baseball, I saw some wicked hot Lennie Rosenbluth autographed stuff on eBay. 1957 NCAA Player of the Year that was guarding Wilt Chamberlain in the championship game, no big deal. Met him a few years back and he couldn't have been nicer to me. Him and his wife. He sadly passed last year and I need a piece of Lennie history in this podcast room. Since I'm slowing down on the recording rate I will be upgrading the sound system in here for super wicked hot personal listening seshes. I do apologize for being a week late with this installment, I attempted to make up for it by extending this episode to over three hours long. This eppy symbolizes the end of my weekly uploads. Almost every week for more than three years I have put out some sort of DJ set. I feel like taking the next month off and relaxing a bit. It is the peak of sports season. It's the holidays. Hello my beautiful listening audience. Welcome to this week's installment, Led Lightnin. Leading off would be Lightnin' Hopkins, a fantastic blues singer and guitar picker from the old school. A musician that I discovered after getting into vinyl records and I'm very glad that I found his music. As always, I think the warm and fuzzy sound of this Hendrix 45 is really something. My Kanye collection on vinyl never disappoints, his stuff was engineered and mixed really well. I read that his Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album is the most expensive hip hop album to ever be produced and you can really hear the quality in the 180 gram vinyl. The 808 bottom end sounds really make it through the vinyl pressing and it is always impressive to me. I imagine I'll be here piled up for another eppy next weekend but most likely after that I'll be slowing down. Probably to one episode a month or something like that. We remember the summer of 2025 in a nice light as we move on into the fall. Football has officially kicked off, Carolina opens the Belichick era momentarily and my fantasy teams are drafted. This Labor Day weekend I spent at the lake and we watched Land of the Lost, which featured the Seals & Croft jam Summer Breeze. Your absolute Arch Bishop of this enterprise is cracked over the passing of Ozzy Osbourne just weeks after his beautiful last performance. Two weeks ago I blasted a 90 minute tribute to Ozzy and his band mates of Black Sabbath. A band that has made my life better for going on 10 years now, since I fell in love with their sound in my early 20's. Highlights of this episode would be the awesome 45 copy of Mama, I'm Coming Home. The song that was played on everyone's Ozzy IG tribute. Other highlights for me would be Yungblud's fantastic rendition of Changes with the Birmingham crowd, Marvin Gaye live on 45 is incredible and me personally, I'm a sucker for chopped and screwed. Welcome to Big Pile of Black Sabbath, a tribute to the patriarchs of heavy metal. Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Tony Iommi played their final show together last week and it did not disappoint. From the special guest surprises, to Sabbath's last performance, I was happy to be a fan. TOOL performed Hand of Doom earlier in the day. To hear Danny Carey blast a Sabbath song was wicked hot. Jason Momoa led a mosh pit. I've always loved Iommi, but Geezer Butler really cracked me with that last performance.I've never heard or imagined War Pigs played like that. Unbelievable. The underground icing on the cake in this episode was me finding a $100 plus record in a $2 crate and immediately knowing it shouldn't have been in there. Sent the email so we'll see what happens. I was geeked to find the original single of Jump Around from '92, the official tip-off song of my beloved Carolina Tar Heels. That greatest hits album from Little River Band didn't disappoint either. What a slapper. Really went to the moon when I found that E-40 record in the cheap LP's pile. Come on now. Today there was a state-wide hail warning, but the biggest beating took place in the Paycom Arena. Nikola Jokic was a punching bag and I felt sorry for that ol boy. OKC advanced but if you ask a fella like me, Nikola Jokic is far and away the deserving MVP. I'm taking him first at the school yard. That's my MVP metric. Who's my first pick at the park. Comedy has been a passion of mine for 20 years running. My intro to stand up was the first days of Youtube, Dave Chappelle had bits of his first specials. The first full stand up special I saw was Katt Williams Pimp Chronicles Part 1, I watched the full special with bonus features in a hotel on HBO. Snoop Dogg's cameo is unbelievable. Starting around 2015 I started listening to Joey Diaz' podcast and that is what really snowballed my love for stand up. The business side, the fellowship of comedy, the horrifying sad side of it all. More than likely, your favorite comedian has a heart breaking story about their life behind the scenes. Chris Farley was self conscious about his weight and didn't believe that anybody loved him. Rodney Dangerfield's own mother belittled and demeaned him to the point of permanent psychological damage. Joey Diaz, while tripping on a hit of LSD at 16 years old, found his mother with a purple arm, dead on the kitchen floor from a major heart attack. All three guys at one time were the best working comedian in the world. It isn't the ability to make a random human giggle for a second. It's the power to turn darkness into light. I secured a 2012 Demo copy of Jai Paul's Jasmine for $16. Some ol' boy in Burbank California didn't do his homework last week and obviously neither did the person he or she bought the record from in the previous transaction. This record in my possession should be at least a $100 sell but buddy just didn't know what time it was. All of the covers do look similar for most of his drops but come on Pappy. C-List disc jockey like me? Forget about it. I sniffed it out immediately and blasted it for my beautiful congregation of audible punching bags on the inter webs. What's good Keisha. I think I'll start listing my 3 favorite points of each episode in the bios. No better time to start than now. Okay, the very start slowing and throwing a 1959 Willie Nelson track is sick work. Next, the Jerry Vale Innamorata at the end. Unbelievable. I could levitate like a monk listening to the vocal acoustics on this Jerry Vale album. And of course, lastly I enjoyed hyper focus listening to the 13 year old demo version of Jasmine, and I had never heard the solo instrumental before that either. Fantastic. Inspiration for the cold open obviously came from me watching Goodfellas for the 100th time. How freakin unbelievably good was Scorsese's mother in that. Possibly the best overall actor in a particular scene with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta, all in their primes, she steals the screen and has a top 10 all-time scene in any movie. Picking up a shovel at my mother's keeps getting better every time I see it. '98 Braves slowed reverb is really fantastic. I'm seriously considering blasting some chopped and screwed country tunes next week. How wicked hot is that. George Jones and Randy Travis chopped and screwed get outta town. In other seriously fantastic news.. I'm a single 32 year old man with no children so that affords me the luxury of spending money on vinyl records to blast for you people every week that would be good for you good for me thank you now. I did just yesterday find a rare Jai Paul Demo drop of Jasmine to match my Demo drop record of BTSTU. It is not the limited Jasmine record that smells like Jasmine, it is the older original 2012 Demo drop vinyl of Jasmine and I do believe it is sealed. A sealed copy should be at least $100-$120 but basically only nerd losers like me know this so I found the Orig 2012 Demo for $16 on eBay with no other comparable sold items in history meaning its pretty wicked rare. I only need 3 records to complete the entire library of possible Jai Paul vinyl. He/Do you love her now single numbered to 500 and signed, going anywhere from $300-$500 a pop.. The white vinyl Bait Ones drop which is cheap I'm just lazy and already have 4 copies of Bait Ones. And the limited smelling Jasmine record would be the only ones I'm needing and I'd imagine I will break down and have them all within the next year or so as I expand this ever-increasing collection. I do actually need another shelf I've run out of room. Who typed this novel in the description of my Witwicky Juan Don installment? Trip one concluded with myself purchasing a $60 Comedy Store 50th Anniversary LP Box Set to go with a fancy RSD T Shirt. Trip 2 I was lucky enough to bump into a 2001 single release of Big Moe's Purple Stuff, to go along with a couple of old 45's. This episode is all over the place but I had a big time recording it. Also, after years, I've noticed a slight increase in my skill to visually edit audio files. A lot of these edits and cuts are a one-take Timmy and that is super wicked hot. It all starts about 13 years ago, with myself sitting criss-cross applesauce on the floor of my first apartment, playing Halo 3 multiplayer surrounded by my best bros. One of them, RonG took the aux of my boombox positioned below the TV and played what would turn out to be my favorite song and artist for over a decade to come. RonG played the demo version of BTSTU by Jai Paul. Immediately it became the song of my summer and really my life, I never stopped playing it. I played it on road trips, when I'm celebrating, when I'm sad. I played it at the hang out part of my brother's wedding. This album actually changed my life and makes me happy. Jai Paul only has 60K followers on Instagram and as much as I'd like to say that's a travesty.. Please don't follow Jai Paul on Instagram. Like it matters, he's a mystery in the dark in radio silence. BUT when he does pop out and show.. It's always perfect and hilarious. I left the store with a handful of Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and some super sick finds in Ozzy and Michael Bolton. This episode doesn't have much rhyme or reason but it's what I felt like blasting. My favorite song while editing this episode was the slowed and throwed version of Erykah Badu's Didn't Cha Know. Killer reverb and I'm really itching to play that song on a drum set. And I'll say this, the outfits and aura is a little much typically for my taste but holy smokes Erykah Badu does something for me. What a fantastic lady. Any consistent listener of the cast would know at this point that I must really dig this Close To You joint and yes. Yes I do. Stevie Wonder on the talkbox being by far my favorite version. Frank Ocean mix second, Sinatra third. The original is almost unrecognisable after hearing those three. At least to my knowledge the original was Burt Bacharach if I'm not mistaken. I'm not doing research this is just regular knowledge that a C-list internet disc jockey has bouncing around in my musically inclined melon. The Bacharach version, God bless him, I highly doubt that the lady he was singing about was ever satisfied. He has tons of heart but, sweet mercy.. That delivery, I can tell he hikes his pants and would never think to bless a lovely young woman with a plate of cheese fries at Outback Steakhouse and possibly see what happens after like an honorable gentleman. I'm absolutely out of my mind and have a goose loose. It's all good though baby. Tons of fresh ammunition for the next installment. Found some awesome old 45's.. In a perfect world for me, the all natural gluten free Slowed & Throwed episode would solely consist of Paul Wall, Mike Jones, DJ Screw, Project Pat and Z-Ro. Maybe a cameo of Lil Wayne's 'Me and My Drank'. BUT this Slowed & Throwed, in particular, revolves around the drowned out melancholy R&B sound of my young adulthood. In the car alone I'd look up slowed reverb versions of my favorite songs and have the best playlists. So, some of these that I just blasted, I've been listening to alone for over 10 years now. Beautiful and nostalgic every time. Some not featured in this episode are actually my favorites.. The Birds Part 2 slowed is one of the best critical thinking masterpieces I've ever encountered. If you need to make a hard decision, or find yourself at a fork in the road, put on The Birds Part 2 and the answer to your dilemma might just broadside your earhole and knock your socks off. It's bad when I truly believe that I could put the Carolina big men through a beneficial array of offensive drills for a week that could yield visible results in conference play. Who are you DJ Witwicky, one might ask? You quit basketball your senior year on an abysmal squad that went 2-24 the year prior just to chase loose women around town and make regrettable decisions, one might say. One DJ W'sOnlyInTheChat might respond, I've personally brushed shoulders with Tyler Zeller, an academic All-American equipped with the most fantastic Mikan drill a man has ever gazed upon, the world over. I've personally seen gold medalist Harrison Barnes absolutely crush a crab dribble 10 feet from my slackjawed face. The same Harrison Black Falcon Barnes that was guarding Kobe in the infamous Achilles game, the same HB that is a 4-time Iowa state champion alongside Doug McDermot. Tyler Hansbrough reffed one of my pickup games and we had a conversation about Texas ping pong once, so don't you tell me how to put the ball in the basket. Coach Jacobs would be a proud man if he saw me do those drills today. I would say he might even shed a tear but then again it's Coach Jacobs. He doesn't cry, he brings the rain. He'd snap a clipboard and yell at an unathletic freshman, I think, solely for my entertainment. I apologize, the beating that Duke handed Carolina tonight made me crab swirl in the bio. What am I even talking about this is a music show. How wicked nice is that Cascada/Country Riddim mix huh? What serves as a serenity of sound for some, I'm sure, is a superb ear beating for others. To be honest I have enough 45's for probably 6-7 episodes. Recently picked up four more that I didn't even use in this set. Wooooow. One of them being the original Test Pressing of Mr. Roboto from Styx. How freakin wicked hot is that. It is actively 2:57 AM on a Friday night/Saturday morning. I just caught a wave and rode it. Nothing to do tomorrow other than show face at the local coffee shop and let everybody know what time it is. I don't, but if I wanted to I would. Every time I hear the name P Diddy, Puff Daddy whatever.. All I hear in my head is Obama saying "and I'd like to thank... Puff.. DaAaAddy" hahaha unbelievable. I need to go in the living room and catch this Cowboys Steelers game, not because of the fierce competition and stunning feats of athleticism. The NFL has put me to sleep in the floor 4 out of 5 weeks. I need to go in there because my absolute boy Snoop Dogg is on the broadcast. Thanks to all that are here, hope you enjoyed it. Completely abandoning rhyme or reason as I do what I want, wicked Witwicky style. A couple of slowed reverb renditions in there, I even get fired up as a middle aged man and sing a couple bars of Boylife in EU by Yung Lean. Didn't have that on my checklist of things to do this year but glad that it happened anyway. In other random news, last week on IG I saw that an old best friend of mine from high school was playing a gig in a band. This guy was a roommate of mine we had so many laughs and did the coolest stuff, I haven't seen him in years. I checked and the venue was 20 minutes from my place so I just showed up. Didn't tell him beforehand and he saw me from the stage. Biggest cheese on this guy's face when he knew it was me. Buddy killed it playing some Tony Iommi style metal lead and it was great, I'm glad I crawled out of my shell and actually showed up. Holy moly what an ear beating what am I a novelist now? The majority of this installment is a late tip of the cap to the greatest, Mr. Tony Bennett. Trying to keep a rainy New York day type of feel for this episode, I was surprised to actually pass an hour of this style of music and to be honest I think I could go for another hour. The Chi-Lites with Oh Girl and Tony Bennett singing Wonderful World has to be my personal favorite parts of this episode. No reason for doing this type of episode other than it's what I wanted to do. I got emotional at work the other day listening to Tony and figured I'd put together something real nice for the people across the inter-web. From Hendrix to System of a Down, trying to cover all bases on this rock n roll installment. Apologies for the absolute ear torture at the end. The Hendrix 45 with Purple Haze and Foxey Lady sounded so grimed out and the vocals were distorted with some wicked lo-fi sound that has me on the lookout for more similar cuts in the future. Beautiful. Every record sounds different and finds like this is really why I still do this. Coming up soon I think I'll do some slow songs, I've found some really great stuff lately. Starting with the Goodfellas major motion picture soundtrack and ending, per usual, with Fred "Fred Again.." Gibson. I watched the first half of the NC State final four game but left the house in the meat of the game to look around for vinyl records. Instead of watching the end of the Uconn Bama game, here I am editing together my 97th installment of flavor for the internet. Brad told me the other day that he started listening to all of these starting at 1 and I almost had an anxiety spaz. The first few drops of VSS have to be brutal, even into the 30's I'd say are not listenable. But deleting them now would be a sin so it's whatever. If I'm not showing up heavy, why show up at all? Doing it a little different this time, barely any vinyl played until halftime of the episode. I had the thought to do something different and this is what came of it. Blasting a custom deet dooted Lord of the Rings cold open for the absolute boys one time. I got all fired up making that til 3:30 AM on Friday. At one point I just held my hands up in ecstasy at what I'd just managed to fondle around and put together. Barely even remember doing it, just looked up and it had put itself together basically. Real nice. Also Kanye's Jesus Is King album was a beautiful pickup this weekend. Sounds so good on vinyl. Full and heavy sound. Some great songs that I didn't debut as well. My Carolina boys managed to fight off the Cameron Crazies, The Duke player and the ref that looks like Keith David. I'M NO LONGER A MUSH. I called on the podcast months ago that Cormac Ryan would be the man and indeed he stepped up in the biggest game of the year. Bing Bong. Can't believe Fred Again actually won two Grammys last week. He didn't pull off the New Artist of the Year award somehow even though he's the most innovative production artist to surface in recent memory. Since Kanye or Pharrell perhaps. Gameday Soul Searching on the 88th installment as I record just hours before Carolina and Duke had their first matchup of the season. My Heels came away with the win much credit to our voodoo with the Duke song at the end of the episode. Super nice. Starting us off with an LA garage band from the 60's, The Leaves who are the originators of Hey Joe, made largely popular by Jimi Hendrix in the same time period. I have an original 45 of The Leaves version from 1966, then we compare with the 1967 performance by Jimi at Monterey. This episode features my favorite Drake run that I've done so far. I messed around and deep dooted the Chicago Freestyle part , hope somebody caught that. And DARN IT if Fred Again don't get me all cheesed up in here with the Delilah live performance. In the 80th installment of my weekly series, no new vinyls have a debut. I did, however, run into a Blu-Ray copy of Goodfellas for $5 and I also found a Pop! figure of Sonny Corleone from The Godfather for $12. Real nice. RIP James Cahn. The figure is holding a metal trash can lid, which to anybody who has seen the movie.. It's hilarious. ANYWHO. This episode features me standing 10 toes in the dirt and defending Kanye's continuously crazier rants and raves. Even when the music goes bad, I'm still in his corner rooting for whatever reason. My first vinyl record show was a success, finding the Japanese import of The Godfather and blasting Apollonia for my loyal listeners. There was an absolute cheese at the show that wouldn't come off $20 for a George Clinton Atomic Dog record. Buddy with this market you'll die with that record. Found some absolute slappers at the store so I had to double back on my lie. Not a chance I'm done buying vinyl. Tried to convince myself to save some cabbage but that plan took a hard hit when I found the Kanye Promo album from Roc A Fella. Unbelievable that record is 20 years old. Also, I haven't mentioned this on any episodes because I try to keep it as PG as I can on here. I did bump into a crazy comedy find yesterday. Sitting criss cross applesauce on the floor of a record shop, I found a rare and elusive vinyl record of one of my favorite comedians, Andrew Dice Clay. Dice is making a comeback as we speak, performing at Carnegie Hall next month. Dice is also the actor who played Lady Gaga's father in A Star Is Born, just for reference. So now, I have rounded out most of my favorite comedians on vinyl. Joey Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Katt Williams, Dice, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield and Dave Chappelle are all featured in my collection now. Found Channel Orange in the record store the other day, was bored earlier.. Went back with plans of buying something under 10 bucks just to get out of the house. Pulled up and found a 20 dollar bill folded up in the parking lot. Took it as a sign and bought the Blond album. So in honor of this come up I blasted 2 triple features to debut the albums. Collection is filling out. For those who actually read these, today I found out that Jai Paul is getting a second vinyl release of his Bait Ones album and just because the album cover is slightly different I feel like I need it. Until then, Hungry Like The Wolf by Duran Duran was on the watch list. I think because I watched Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe the other day and Paul Giamatti was fantastic in that movie. I love Paul Giamatti from Big Fat Liar and they play that wolf song in the movie... whatever my subconscious, because of Paul's performance in Cinderella Man, put Duran Duran on the mental queue of records to look for in the store. I could host a block party that would be everlasting at this point. For kickers I picked up a Dem Franchise Boys vinyl the other day. Didn't even break that one in on this episode. We got a deep bag over here at the Player's Lounge V2 still coming up with a better name. Also in other news, today I picked up Blu-Ray copies of the first and third Lord of the Rings motion pictures so I'm absolutely amped to get this edited and blasted to the masses so I can then pile up with some xtreme cheddar blasted goldfish and watch the best major motion picture of all time. I remember drafting LaDanian Tomlinson many years ago to put it in perspective. Breaking hearts on draft day this year, like always. I was lucky enough to have landed a massive NIL deal with the People's Champ, Duwe "Boom Boom" Farris of the Carolina Basketball Team. He rips guitar and we tore the Player's Lounge to the ground. Yours truly, DJ Witwicky on the 1's and 2's serving up more piping hot game than Dave & Busters. We sold our soul for Rock n Roll edition, kicking it off with a Led Zeppelin mule and working our way through a decent 30 minute run. Again, my only hope is that only one person, you possibly, could hear a new favorite song and have their mind blown. I like to think somewhere down the line in 33 episodes it's happened already, but I minimally promote this, not many people listen to it so until I have verbal or written proof, I'll continue to spend my weekends digging into this never ending bag of eclectic slappers for the lovely faceless folks of the internet. Have plans Monday and work all week, but we'll get another episode up next week. I totally soiled the bed singing Nessun Dorma last episode, almost broke and laughed like 10 times and I didn't want to sing too loud and wake up Robert and Nancy. At a company party years ago, Don Pablo literally told random people in Raleigh that in Atlanta they call him the Dab Daddy. Said that word for word and was serious. Yes my voice cracked doing the Rick James at the end but it's all good baby still here to waste 20 minutes on a description that not one human reads. I've started a trend with this Showtime Magic Johnson episode of VSS. That hopeful trend is any theme and general direction at all. Meaning this was basically one expanded genre, that is considered my soul music. Mostly R&B, some hip hop and some old Gospel songs get me there, but I didn't have any of those slappers on vinyl. Next Vinyl episode will be super early music. Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, BB King, Hendrix, 60's and alike. Might end it with the first Led Zeppelin album we'll see. Like I've said before, my only hope is one person might accidentally click on this and hear a new favorite song they've never heard before, someone might acquire a taste for a completely different genre outside of their realm. Podcasts made me go back and really appreciate older music before my time, accordingly I got into vinyl albums and that's why this sub-series is birthed to begin with. Circle the conversation of little black circles that spin in a circle back to this next week at some point when I've become tired of completely carrying randoms on Halo, I'll attempt to muster up a topic or two to hold your attention. Knocking the rust off and getting back into regular life, felt awkward talking into the camera for the first time in a while. I got into the flow of it though, not a terrible episode. I fully expected that confetti blaster to have put a hole in the ceiling. Hope I wasn't out of line for putting up the funny Spencer videos. I feel like the watchers needed to see exactly what we're dealing with here. We're really going to miss our friend. Hilarious stories that I could never share on this platform, just a treasure chest of memories for myself and his group of buddies. Tanner was on fire at the celebration of life. Think it was the BET Awards that's not a questionable joke either, I believe that statement to be factual. If my memory serves, Andre 3000 was there in the audience with Jamie Foxx to appreciate it in real time. God bless. Anyways, I still feel weird about putting anything out, but my people would want me to go onward and do my best to entertain the people who actually click on this thing. So here I am serving up more game than an arcade on a Saturday evening. Nothing better for an aging bachelor to do besides scratch my hindquarters and edit this freaking sub-par piece of work. I enjoy degrading myself for the humorous factor, I think this episode actually slaps pretty hard aside from the train wreck at the end. I pretend nobody listens to these and it's just me entertaining myself like Jack Sparrow in Davy Jones locker. That's the only way I have the cajonas to actually try to sing. Plus an episode of The Ten Minute Podcast where they try to sing for real made me cringe and laugh so hard, it inspired me to do my version of the same. Like I've said before, the typing of these descriptions is my favorite part of this process, I've just blacked out at this point my fingers have been a blur idk where I even learned to type this fast. Just yesterday we learned of a passing in the family, our grandfather has passed. A great man, kindest soul I can think of, a man that was very happy with what he had. Not trying to gain an advantage on anybody whatsoever, in fact, would rather help somebody unprompted than gain an advantage. A kind of soul that I don't see in this day and time anymore. In the mountains of North Carolina their home was a place of solace not just for myself but my cousins and extended family alike. A natural wonderland, place of endless excitement for a kid growing up. My Papaw had set up a Utopia for us in basically a skatepark in the driveway, finding each of the grandkids their own individual bike at yard sales. He also had an assortment of wild berries and fruits ready for us to pick. If I can remember them all, he had blueberry bushes, huge ones. Blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, an apple tree, and grape vines all growing on the family property, not enough to pick and make money off of, that wasn't the point. He had those there just for us, to provide that place for the imagination to grow. I didn't mention my favorite. Above the "skatepark", he had my black cherry tree. THE BEST. I would get a ladder or climb up on somebodies car in attempt to reach more cherries, I'd eat those things until I was struggling to move, often angering my mom with the juice all over my clothes. Not only the berries and the skatepark, at the bottom of the driveway, he had a natural spring that ran a creek across the pavement that was the coolest thing in the world to me. Next to that was a bamboo forest that he planted, which was effectively the war zone for cops and robbers, hide and seek, whatever we were doing. One of the more heartwarming things, once he figured out our side of the family was deep into basketball culture, he bought some 2x4's, salvaged an old basketball rim and made a 10ft goal himself above the driveway just for me. Cory eventually grew to 6'7 and played D1 ball, I never did anything with basketball but it's the sincere thought that counts. He surprised us with a homemade basketball goal in our sanctuary of our childhood. My Papaw was a tremendous man that deserves to be recognized. He was a poet and a writer, recently publishing a children's book entitled "Old Mack Donald's Ee-Yi-Oh" which is recently available on Amazon. I've rarely asked anybody to buy anything on this podcast, but next episode I will promote that and give an example of what it is. Thank you for expanding my soul's horizon, Papaw. As long as I am here on this rock, your gentle gestures and kindred spirit will push me to be a better individual not only to my family but to complete strangers. Genuinely didn't know what to name this episode, thought about Night Owl City after the band that sings Fireflies, but that gif of The Rock made me giggle so I went with Dwayne Johnson inpspiroochie vibes. Like I've said before, if only one person listens to one of these and finds a new song they like, every one of these episodes is worth it. Podcasts like these introduced me to No Quarter by Led Zeppelin, Dogs by Pink Floyd, a few Hendrix B sides. Some of my staples have been introduced to me this way so in a way I reckon I'm trying to pay the universe back the favor and blast these bangers for miscellaneous listeners alike. The Kanye vinyls bring nostalgia that I can cut with a knife, and you need a life jacket when that Weeknd joint comes on at the end. Deep DEEP into the murky waters of R&B. I didn't really hit my ex's on Snap. Half of them look like they died and forgot to lay down, the other half still looks amazing but that's besides the point I'm making. You're way too opinionated I had to force it, I had to fake it. You had potential, I could've shaped it. You went and caved in. We could've waited, I wasn't rushing. Difference in ages. I was living in Georgia years ago, downstairs in a man cave alone watching Kobe Bryant play his last basketball game. Celebrities from all over in attendance, Jack Nicholson, Snoop, Jay Z and Kanye among many other A-listers were there simply to pay respects, not knowing what Kobe had in mind. Pre-game, Shaq jokingly requested a 50 piece from the Mamba. They laughed it off and Kobe walks out there, not only scored 50 as a middle-aged man on a rehabbed achilles, the guy scored 60 points to go with a lead taking jumper with time running out, beating the Jazz in an otherwise meaningless meeting. I watched the game in real time from beginning to end, immediately started it over and cried a few times. Not knowing what would eventually take place. At least Kobe didn't have to watch the world turn to mush around him like the rest of us. God rest his soul, thanks for the memories Kobe. I admiringly rooted against him and probably did say some negative things in his direction from time to time, but ultimately the mentality is incredible and it's seemingly absent in the game that I love today. That's why I didn't even watch the playoffs tonight and chose to instead record a sub-par podcast and get embarrassed on Halo. I like to think that our local aliens are rejecting orders from their far away superiors to destroy our planet because they fell in love with watching Steph Curry play basketball. What if their favorite thing in the whole Cosmos is Snoop's Doggystyle album so they just can't pull the trigger until either Snoop passes from natural causes or agrees to leave to Planet Cruton with them and record the illest album of all time the universe over. They have to travel to the afterlife and bring Rick James back like Jack Sparrow, but shortly after succeeding, they kick Rick out of the studio because the aliens initially underestimated Rick is a habitual line-stepper and has an uncanny ability to go on a bendy rager. So they have to take another trip to the afterlife just to take Rick back to dwell in the abyss. This is why I don't have a flat in the Hollywood Hills next to Tarantino and Stallone because ya boy is a First Class moron. Mamba episode of Vinyl Soul Searching coming through on Monday most likely, these DJ sets are getting an average of 1 additional listener per episode lol hey at least it's not one less everytime. AND like I said before, if just one person discovers one slapper that they enjoy it's all worth it. Don't fear the aliens. Jones. An obsession. A burning desire. The undeniable passion or love for someone or some thing. Yes.. He was a victim of a basketball jones. Great playoff basketball so far this year in the league which has prompted me to dust off my basketball IQ and rattle off some most-likely horrific predictions for the remaining upcoming weeks of the NBA Playoffs. The case has been the same for me since James Harden left OKC. No real agenda here other than occasionally and circumstantially rooting against LeBron, I just hope to watch greatly entertaining basketball, nobody wants to see a sweep this late in the season. Just hoping to watch history really, that's why my gut wants to pull for Golden State, so when I'm an old man, which is around the corner.. I can say how bad of a mamma jamma Steph Curry was. But it's whatever. My allegiance lies with the highest bidder and in case the Warriors make my soul happy. Sorry about ripping the guy at Sheetz he had no idea how weird he is. I feel bad about shredding Britney Griner too I've made mistakes too. But I haven't attempted to traffic drugs into a Russian Airport. Maybe I'm just jealous. When I look like a moron which is more often than not, people just laugh it off and Elmer's glue that memory onto the ever-growing collage of colossal mistakes I've made in my life. Coming at you with a few raging bangers on a Tuesday night, figured I'd bless your daily commute, workout or whenever you happen to click on this garbage. Mowing the yard maybe? Who cares. I was absolutely fired up to finally blast Tony Bennett from 1963, it's only right. I've listened to Joey Diaz and Lee "Boom Boom" Syatt fire that one off plenty of times in the Voodoo Lounge so I had to bring that lovely tune to the fine people on my side of the internet landscape. There is more ammunition on the way if you actually enjoy these. Should've done a regular podcast episode by now, NFL Draft was live tonight, NBA Playoffs clinching but truth be told, I felt like being lazy this week after work, playing some Halo with Pacdaddy.. Some Oculus with Escaleto, who actually joined me for some Halo whoopin action as well. But most of this week's free time has been spent on the front porch, catching up on YouTube videos I've been wanting to watch and from time to time consuming an occasional cigarette. People do worse things. It's a war going on, the Government is lying, the aliens are coming and people are worried about my cigarettes. Unbelievable. Nobody actually said anything about me smoking a million Newports I'm just self conscious about it in a way, not really. The truth truth is I don't worry or think about my health at all, would rather smoke cigarettes and I'm not self conscious about it at all and that's probably worse but idc if I was Will Smith in I Am Legend I'd just steal a million cigarettes from 7Eleven and blast tee shots on the Oculus until my left arm goes numb. Being the 45th episode, I thought about having the Blender on, discussing the season and Carolina in general but the big boy is back home in Oklahoma currently while at the same time, that highlight video was burning a hole in my pocket. I just blasted the video by itself so they could watch it and hopefully have a good time remembering the season, I'm sure somewhere down the line I can grab him for a follow up pod. Never got Cary on here to taste test deserts with me either. It'll all happen in good time. Like I said in the pod, I'm still beaming about that win vs Duke. Broke my stream of thought while typing and was day dreaming about that night again. Shout out to Leaky Black and his family for bringing the heat to Bourbon Street. Our new BFF's for life, nobody wanted the smoke. Nolan Smith included. In the producer's honest opinion (my opinion), this episode is embarrassingly horrible and doesn't sniff justice for the number 45. BUT at least I'm not a Duke fan looking for my soul in the kicked over trash can on Bourbon Street. Buddy looking for his soul in the Bayou the next day after that tremendous beating we layed on the Devils. As of last Saturday, the Devil was tied up, kicked around and buried at sea. Being 24 Hours removed, yesterday was one of, if not the greatest day of my life. Thought about naming the episode Best Day Ever, also considered Party Pants. But as you can tell, ended up with Sweet Victory. Sounded better to me and I'm the Captain Kirk of this Enterprise I can name it Purple Ninja Turtles if I want to. Went with Sweet Victory because, as I anticipated in episode 40, a friend of the podcast treaded into enemy territory and took Coach K and Duke to the wood shed. BRADY MANEK DROPPED THOSE BOYS OFF. So, forgive my voice, lack of editing and forgetting to charge the camera again. I'm surprised I could even get anything done this headache was bumping all night and I was jumping up and down like a moron til 4 AM. It was all so worth it. Haven't even gone over this pod like normal, went to see Batman just now and didn't proof anything. Headed to GA to see the BoomStick boys tomorrow, so if there's any issues.. Tough. I made a promise a few episodes ago, that I would refrain from yelling any further obscenities at basketball events but the competitive spirit of the moment overpowered me, and I let the dogs loose like Blake Shelton in God's Country last night. Didn't just offend referees and opposing coaches/players/fans, but I somehow managed to turn a fellow group of TarHeel fans against me somewhere in the non-ceasing, non-sensible onslaught of verbal attacks. If you're going to just sit there like a vampire on a log, do all of us real basketball fans a favor and sit that little hiney at the house, on your cigarette hole couch with a mask on and let somebody else that cares have that seat, please. They put a 90-year-old guy on the Jumbotron grasping a cane in his hand. He had more energy and life in his non-dominant hand than this bunch had put together. Real quick way to fire up ol Chester. Regardless, we made it through, didn't cuss anybody and didn't get picked up by my knee caps and thrown into the bushes, so all is groovy baby. Hope fate will bring us together again. Worlds collide as Pac-Man made the trip from the Promise Land to check out Brady's TarHeel way of life. Brady did beat me at Christmas gifts this year and I beat Pac in Tap In for Christmas. Lol it all works itself out. What Brady doesn't fully understand is, he has started a war that he doesn't want any part of going forward with the Christmas thing. Super slop episode, most of these do lack base topic or general direction but hey I stayed up til 5:57 AM editing this nasty thing so if it's not good then tuff. Pack toilet paper and water. Seeing Vegas in person is quite different than expected. I couldn't have had a better time with pops, we wore ourselves out walking to and from here and there. Totally absolutely worth every bit we payed, time spent and pain is only temporary. Yet still, I can't wait to get back home to the couch that I choose to sleep on instead of the bed because I'm a man and I do what I want to. As well as my Sheetz coffee runs that I cherish so much. That being said, Vegas was super sick in a good and bad way. Learned a lot actually and I know I'll be back next year. Coming at you on a solo tip, it's another Friday night alone in a mancave without a suitable woman for miles in each direction. What else would a 30 year old single heterosexual male (he/him) do on a Friday night? Beats me. I'm blasting these bangers for YOU, my loyal handful of beautiful people on the internet. Still convinced nobody in the universe, or metaverse as we now call it, has yet to read a single stitch of one of these descriptions and still I find this the most enjoyable part of this sub-par charade. Just got home from watching the new Ghostbusters and I found that Harold Ramis wrote the premise of the script before he passed so I will hold back any negative comments and say Bill Murray stole the show as wished and expected, Dan Akroyd was nice to see as well. At this point I'm wasting time and typing well formed sentences for nobody to begin with.

Mourning the loss of a pair of the creamiest couple of kicks that I have in my rotation. Released in 2003, these bad boys are almost as old as my brother who is in college now. Tough cheeks. Big Carolina vibes tomorrow as we usher in a new era of TarHeel basketball, and I can't be happier about it. Momma E and myself will be jumping up and down all night tomorrow. Joined once again by The King of The North on a fine college football Saturday to drink our fair share of Mountain Dew and discuss our memoirs of the previous night with the Carolina basketball team at Late Night. Christmas came early this year as we were able to watch our buddy take the floor for the first time in front of fans and it did not disappoint. Brady lit up the arena and the crowd loved it, a night none of us will ever forget. After 3 hours of sleep, I woke up early and drove 8 hours to eat lunch with Pacman so forgive this episode for being short and sweet.
