Paul Lewis is a medical student at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) who graduated from Harvard College in 2018 with an A.B. degree in Neurobiology and Global Health and Health Policy. At Columbia University, he conducts diverse projects related to research, humanism, and youth enrichment, and he co-leads the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Allen O. Whipple Surgical Society, the Global Health Organization (GHO), and the International Young Researchers' Conference (IYRC). In this episode we cover, Lewis' journey to medical school.

welcome back! it's been such a whirlwind getting to where we are now as confident, independent women. we are still on our journey of embracing ourselves and our appearances, after surrounding ourselves with what the so-called beauty standards are/were. listen to our stories about wanting to be "white" as children to hating our hair and skin color. we still face this obstacle in our everyday lives with the rise of abg's in the eastern asian communities to being called too "white-washed" and ugly in front of our peers.
remember you are beautiful the way you are. you must embrace your perfections. please do not change yourself for others.
