Sometimes I wonder if the people in my life see me as that black girl from Africa or if they see me as someone who is genuine, caring, loving, giving. Making assumptions about other people is a slippery slope no one should dare taking. Ask, get to know people before deciding if they are the person you take them to be.
Today I felt like reading a poem for you. This podcast really is about me putting out my thoughts and breaking patterns of inconsistency.
Last night was one of those surreal moments in life where I found out what’s it’s like to live your truth. I know now that nothing is perfect and that’s ok.
With this podcast, I want to cover everything that makes us human and make it a judgment free zone when it comes to dealing with emotions and like I said, whatever makes us human.
