When I Am Afraid: Recent Episodes

I’m sorting through what has happened in the last few months. I have felt like I have been in the eye of a storm. My life has been changing drastically. I’m going through my journals piecing together the story.
Although Steve has been told that he’s dying it wasn’t until the nurse talked to him that he finally grasped what was going on. She asked if he was afraid and he responded, “No, that’s been taken care of.” On Sunday we celebrated the Resurrection.
Reading from March 15-20. No one knows what is going on with Steve. There is a great amount of confusion. The last question the doctors ask Steve is if he knows who I am. He remembers me.
I felt crushed under the load that I was carrying. It seemed my life was filled with confusion so I held onto the truth that I found in Psalm 142:3, “When my spirit felt weak within me, You know my path.”
