The need to "fit in" & be popular is just a big a part of high school today as it was back in the day. But what are the pressures...cheating on the math test, taking a drink in the locker room, drugs at the party? How about just having a girlfriend? It's all about surviving high school, for the student AND the parents! Pressure is pressure, whether it's in 1977 or in 2022, but how much pressure IS there to succeed today? Is the push still for parents to get their kids into college? Is it all about the grades? And there's having your dad as a teacher, and your mom as a "PTA mom" who seemed to know more about your classes than you did. How do you survive all that? Scott & Brycen are back for the second episode of "Surviving High School"! Scott is public school kid from Michigan & Kentucky (talk about night and day differences), while Brycen is a public & Christian school kid. Is there such a thing as "the Christian school bubble"? Are pubic & private schools REALLY all that different? They talk about everything from their biggest problems in school, to class sizes, dress codes, and stereotypes surrounding Christian schools.
