Agile People Principles support an increasingly autonomous workforce that is global, mobile, transient, and connected.
People expect organizations to be transparent and dynamic where they are given the freedom and safety to experiment and express themselves.
Pia-Maria Thorén, the founder of Agile People, gathered 35 Agile People Coaches and Facilitators around the globe. Together they co-created the book 'Agile People Principles - Your Call to Action for the Future of Work.
Agile People Principles is a comprehensive guide for Leaders and HR Professionals to attain or sharpen an 'agile mindset' to best serve their organisations. Through personal observations, case studies, research and reference tools, our contributors have created an invaluable tool to confront the challenges within a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world.
Commencing on the 10th June 2021 at 1.00pm (BST), we will launch our first episode, followed by a new one every 2 weeks thereafter. In addition to that we will of course be dropping bonus episodes, so please keep checking where ever you play your podcasts, for new episodes as they become available.

Cheryl is a second-generation agility coach, international storyteller, and the curator of the world's first female Agile Rap. Passionate about people development at work, Cheryl has travelled the globe the past decade, coaching organizations across four continents, in eleven countries, studying how humans learn at work and how we can best support them to grow. Now based in her home country, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Cheryl leads the Agile HR movement, supporting coaches and HR Leaders to define their value in the future of work.
Inanc Civaz has 20 years of international experience in management consultancy, with extensive and hybrid knowledge on strategy development, corporate and marketing communications, crisis management, cultural change, and the ability to deliver structural design without losing people's side. She has a proven track record on business development in complex circumstances building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships at different organizational levels. Inanc holds ab MA degree in Cultural Management, which has inspired her agile transformation projects. She is also a co-creator of the Agile People Manifesto. She is the founder of Haga Business Consultancy B.V. where she offers training and consultancy in Turkey and the Netherlands. Her purpose is to help individuals and organizations by combining her holistic experience with an Agile mindset, to create an inclusive environment, and to thrive together for a faster adaptation to changing business realities. Tamara Molinas is a Senior HR Business Partner in a large E-Commerce company, with more than 15 years of experience in the HR craft. With a strong passion for people and innovation and a high sense of curiosity and humor, she is the founder of the Agile People Meetup group in Amsterdam and co-author of the Agile People Manifesto. Tamara has a very broad international experience, having lived in 6 different countries and worked directly with over 50, which gave her the unique opportunity to build new perspectives on cultures and ways of working and living. Her strength lies in the ability to create or improve things in a cooperative, fun, and flexible way, making sure to engage the right people in defining each journey in a very inclusive and people and people-centric way. She holds Master's degrees in Organization and Human Resources Management, and in Philosophy. Certified by Oxford College, HCI, CIPD, HRMP and ICAgile, she views life as a continuous learning experience and she is currently exploring the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Gustavo Couto is an engineer by education, consultant and instructor by profession. At the beginning of his professional life, he had the opportunity to work in large companies and with leaders from different countries. It was during this trajectory that he found his passion: to inspire and empower people. A few years ago, he decided to quit a steady job to follow his dream: to structure a consulting firm that could bring innovation to Brazil and empower more people from different walks of life and background, all over the world. Gustavo is a keynote speaker, MBA Professor, author of the book, Essential Guide for New Entrepreneurs, and is co-author of the Agile People Manifesto. In his work, he focuses on innovation, agile, design thinking, management and people development. He built his expertise in companies located all over Brazil and abroad.
Bala is co-founder and managing partner of FutureXeed, based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He is passionate about Leadership and Systemic coaching, facilitating leaders and teams to co-create awesome work cultures and collaborative intelligence and enabling positive organizational transformations. He comes with many years of corporate experience as International HR Director and other senior HR Leadership roles in high-tech, telecommunications and other industries in Europe and Asia. He is a certified consultant, coach and facilitator in Organizational Values and Culture Transformation, Leadership Team facilitator, Trainer in ICAgile HR, ICAgile Leadership and Agile People Coach and Facilitates Digital Transformation & DevOps simulations. He is a certified SAFe DevOps practitioner and co-author of the Agile People Manifesto. He is pursuing his Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) accredited by International Coaching Federation (ICF) and on his way to becoming a Senior Practitioner with European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
In this episode, we have the fantastic Michele Stone interviewing the nomadic inspiration that is Michaela Broeckx on her chapter of the Agile People Principles book on 'Optimizing for the Whole'. Michele resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has over 25 years of experience building teams, mentoring individual contributors, managers, and executives in methodologies and principles that foster a culture and ownership. Michele is a successful and award winning entrepreneur with a focus on working with leaders to nurture a healthy, dynamic, collaborative Agile transformation of their teams and organization. She collaborates with global thought leaders to further the conversation about the need for change on how we approach our work. Michele and her husband James are contributing authors to The Agile People Manifesto. Her passion is helping people deliver excellent value while loving what they do! Michaela is a mom, a sister, a daughter, a wife... ...and she's also a spirited Agile/Lean coach and Agile Trainer, gifted with a natural flair for interpersonal & intercultural communication, and with an extensive track record in the a great variety of industries. She's an Agile People HR facilitator as well as an enterprise transformation coach, working for various customers for Ordina Belgium. Throughout her career, she took on various other roles, like HR Project Lead, corporate trainer, team performance coach, practise manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and consultant. Apart from that, she leads a not for profit initiative that supports schooling and health projects in Bihar, India (Anandvzw). And what she loves about Agile, is that it focuses on the human connection. To tackle challenges and cleverly respond to change, we must combine our collective brains and join our efforts to optimize for the whole.
Wouter is co-founder and managing partner of FutureXeed, based in his home country, The Netherlands. Passionate about helping individuals, teams and organizations accelerate their (Agile/SAFe/Digital/DevOps/HR) transformation, Wouter uses practical examples from his work as an independent consultant having helped various global companies in their organization journey. He brings new insights combining his Agile Certifications, and industrial engineering background, and the deep international HR expertise having held various end-responsible international HR roles at the VP level and as a member of business management teams. Co-author of the Agile People Manifesto, Wouter is an active member of the Agile People global community, keeping each other up to date on the edge of developments in this field.
