I'm Caroline a fellow real house wife of the Kingdom of God. Even though we are more connected than ever this world can leave us feeling alone. This is far from God's plan. I will be chatting with women from all walks of life, some just like you and some maybe not. They will share how God has shown up and helped them walk through the good and the hard. I'll also share my heart on the ways God is and has sustained me, share scripture that is giving me life! I want to remind you how much you are loved by God and that you are not alone! Who is the Proverbs 31 Woman and how does it apply to me in todays culture? The Proverbs 31 woman has long been viewed as unattainable even an affront to the modern woman. Wether you lover her or hate her we invite you to maybe gain a fresh perspective.
Today in the “ A Few of My favorite Things” Series, Caroline is unpacking this controversial or seemingly outdated group of verses from the book of Proverbs. She is diving into God’s Word and sharing what she has learned after studying these group of scriptures throughout her life and what God has taught her through them. These Bible verses have been a ready companion and have helped to enrich her more than 21 years of marriage!
Wether you are not married yet, have been married for a minute or 60 years we invite you to listen in!

We love our friends until we don’t. As believers we should all be living together in unity. Sadly that is not always the case. The enemy wants us to devour one another, yet God created friendship to be a Blessing! What can we do to recognize his tactics?
Today Caroline is kicking off season 4 with a series on friendship. She gives 4 red flags to watch out for that might be allowing the devil to get a foothold in your friendships. Let’s all make a stand to recognize the enemies tactics and pursue healthy friendships!

In this episode Caroline talks about how we can create prisons of our own devises or shall we say “vices”. If we have confessed our sins and accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior nobody can separate us from Him. This doesn’t mean we can’t place things or other people in our lives as more important than God and become bound by them.
When we begin to create space for our sins, obsessions and anxieties making excuses for them we begin to sink into the crashing waves just like Peter did that day on when Jesus called Him out on the water.
The good news is there is hope and God gives us all we need to daily surrender to Him and walk in freedom embracing His Yoke or way of doing things. Are you ready to be free?!

The holiday season is here knocking at our doors and with that comes a certain amount of stress when it comes to hosting people in our homes. Today my guest and dear friend Nicole who has such a gift for making people feel welcome even down to the tiniest guest shares how despite a busy schedule where she is literally flying all over the world for work, she manages to make time for hosting family and friends. She shares how her intentionality in hospitality was shaped from the time she was a child and how we can apply it to our own hosting habits and heart attitudes!

Do you keep the Sabbath? Since the Old Testament or old Covenant was fulfilled through Jesus then why do people still celebrate Sabbath? How can we celebrate it without turning it into another burden of the law? What about all of the festivals that God commanded the Israelites to celebrate? God has been talking with me a lot about Sabbath or taking a Sabbatical. On todays episode I dive into both the Old and New Testament and what it says about the Sabbath as well as how I'm honoring God by applying it in my own life. I hope you will be encouraged to take the opportunity to trust God with your work and ministries and create rhythms of rest and celebration in your life!

DEFINE MINISTRY SERIES- While ministry within the church is an essential and important place that God is moving, He is certainly moving throughout our world in not so traditional ways. I'm highlighting the ministries of some very special women. Jesus was radical in how He ministered to people and often very unconventional. He saw the people who nobody saw, and displayed His heart for humanity without prejudice. I feel the ladies in this series are being the hands and feet of Jesus in some really unlikely places, to some unlikely people. I hope you are moved beyond the "box" to love and minister wherever and however God calls! Today I'm interviewing my cousin about the ministry God has called her to in her community. After walking through some hard things the Lord gave her insight into how the body mind and emotions are all connected. She began to look for ways she could get out and move her body to stay healthy mentally and emotionally for her husband and kids. She shares how she began "A Fresh Journey". A hiking group welcome to any level of hiker, who is looking for a safe place to land and be while getting out and moving their bodies. God has Blessed it and she shares how she has seen His hand throughout the process! Today I'm chatting with Beverly. Years ago I met Beverly when my husband and I got to serve at a Christmas event her and her husband put on every year for who they like to call "Homeless Hearts" in their community. This isn't your average homeless ministry, in fact they don't even like to call it that. They don't view people as projects but as God's little babies who need to feel loved. She shares about the first man who came to them at their business and how God moved in their hearts and expanded their reach! You will be incredibly Blessed by our conversation!

An unexpected Episode-I thought I was acknowledging God in my Podcast and waiting for His direction. Until His direction wasn't coming on my timeline. The I started to get antsy and maybe a little whiney. Have you ever been there? You started with good intentions to be organized and honor God but it turned into being a little impatient when God didn't get your memo?
That is what todays episode is all about. I had planned for something different but instead God is asking me to be real with you about my own short comings. He also wants me to tell you it's ok if you have been in my shoes, He is really patient and gracious and His love goes beyond anything we can do to mess it up.
So sit back and listen in to the episode that I didn't plan.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your won understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

We are in our series called, "By the word of our testimony".
My Guest Lea was raised Catholic in the Philippines. Serving God her whole life even teaching catechism class. But yet there was still an emptiness, and so many unanswered questions. Then one day Jesus met Lea in a dream which resulted in her truly seeing who Jesus is, why He died and rose again for our sins. All of her questions were answered and God began to reveal why she had felt the void before. Lea is a Wife, a Mom and a Grandma who's love for the Lord shines so bright to everyone she meets! You will be so encouraged by our conversation!

My new series is called "By the word of our testimony". based on the scripture below from Revelation.
Today Denise is sharing her story of hope and healing. After being sexually abused as a child she became dependent at a young age on alcohol and drugs to numb the pain and blur reality. Her promiscuity lead to an unplanned pregnancy and abortion that she kept a secret for many years. She had raised her hand to accept Jesus many times but it was a head decision, not a heart one. Even after she no longer turned to substance she filled her days with busyness to mask the pain. God finally broke through and revealed His heart to her and began leading her through the steps to surrender and be healed. Today she lives joyfully and God has given her opportunities to walk others through paths of hope, healing and restoration. We don't get super graphic but I wouldn't recommend this episode for little ears.
If you or anyone you know has been the victim of sexual abuse or has walked down any of the same paths as Denise, I believe you will be so encouraged.
'Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world— he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” ' Revelation 12:7-12

Today starts a new series called "By the word of our testimony". based on the scripture below from Revelation. I'm starting with mine and will move through interviews with many different testimonies of Real House wives of the Kingdom.
For years I believed sharing my testimony was pointless. I didn't have any major rebellion in my life or a tragedy that introduced me to Jesus. I wasn't aloof to who He was growing up, as some are who grow up in Christian homes are; then they suddenly truly dedicate their lives to Him in high school or early adulthood. Because these are often the testimonies shared, I felt mine carried no weight. But what God has recently put on my heart is my testimony matters, and so does yours. The beauty in our relationships with the Lord and how He shows up in our lives is so diverse, which is why it is so compelling. We are not simply reading a known script, we are telling as first hand witnesses to our own lives why we believe.
20 years of marriage and memories! It's our 20th wedding anniversary and today I have my hubby on as a special guest to chat about anniversary and marriage memories. Our honeymoon in Paris, being mugged at gun point in Guatemala and sometimes as simple as just enjoying the all you can eat bread sticks at Olive Garden. It's been an exciting ride to say the least! We are also talking about why we love our marriage and how we have truly found joy these past 20 years. What exactly does it mean to have a Christ centered marriage? We talk about that too, and how you too can have a joyful God centered marriage!

Sex and Faithfulness, what do you need to know before you say I do?! Today we are giving a sneak peek into the fifth section of our pre-marital guidance course.
What do you know about Pre-Marital Counseling? It is incredibly helpful in helping you be prepared for marriage. Though many people think it's unnecessary, aren't involved in a good church where they can find it. Or maybe you don't feel comfortable going to your pastor for this guidance. We don't want this to stop you from having valuable Biblical Marriage wisdom that will help you walk joyfully through your married lives!
Are you planning on getting married soon? Do you know someone who is? Maybe you are married but feel you were not given the tools needed to do marriage "well". My hubby and I are very passionate about marriage, we love helping couples to understand how they can beat the 50% divorce rate that has plagued our country and caused many to consider wether it's worth walking down the aisle.
We are giving you a sneak peek into our online God centered pre-marriage guidance course each week this month. We want you to not just survive marriage but to thrive! Be sure to share with anyone who might benefit from the course

Today's episode is very close to my heart. I'm talking with my sister about her journey of adopting my sweet niece who happens to be number 6 in her line up of sweet babes. She is now pregnant with number 7 and her and her hubby love every minute of their big family! My Sis is sharing her Momma heart and how God called them to adoption. She shares some insight on how God has changed her perspective on adoption since they began the process of bringing my niece home just a little over a year ago. If you have ever wanted to adopt, are in the thick of it or know someone who has our conversation will definitely give you some good real perspective. Even if you don't fall in those camps listen in to have a shot of hope and a great reminder of God's faithfulness and power at work in our lives!

My guest today is my dear friend Demaree. A worship leader and broadways singer who suddenly found herself the single Momma of her two sweet kiddos. This definitely wasn’t in her plan. She shares her heart and How God met her right where she was and truly became her provider. She realized how little resources there were both inside and outside the church. This inspired her to pursue a ministry supporting other parents who find themselves in this very difficult uncertain circumstance. Her struggle also produced an incredible Single that is about to be released in June 2022.

Did you wonder what it was like to have babies during the middle of the pandemic? As part of the children and parenting series I am interviewing some very special women, my Sister Victoria and our dear family friends who are also sisters Alethea and Anastacia. All three ladies had babies during covid and are sharing their experience as well as their hearts for Motherhood and why a worldwide pandemic and social unrest didn’t stop them from pursuing God’s call on their lives! They share some great Biblical wisdom on raising children and I know you are going to love them and our conversation!

I am not a Mom, which may make you wonder why I'm having a series on Children and Parenting. Just because you aren't a Mother doesn't mean you aren't called to Mother. Today I'm talking about why I think children are an important part of God's plan and how just because you aren't a parent doesn't mean you won't be held responsible for the influence you have on the children that are in your life. Why not take the opportunity to not just watch what you say but to use your words to build up! Also how can you best support your friends who are in the hard holy work of parenting. Listen in for some tips on how you can honor God by enriching the lives of the kids around you, helping equip them for all God has in store!

Do you or does someone you know have a Prodigal Child? Maybe you are or have been the Prodigal in your own family. Today we are kicking off the "Children and Parenting" series with my Cuz, Valerie. Her daughter battled the demon of addiction throughout her life, though she loved God but often the temptation was just too difficult. She went to be with Jesus in December of 2021 just before her 35th Birthday. Val talks with us about her heart as a Momma, how God sustained her and guided her as she walked this difficult path and continues to grieve the loss of her daughter. Our conversation will remind you that God meets us in the middle of our mess and that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. While you may be surprised that I'm calling this a redemption story, it truly is. Listen in for some encouragement and wisdom to help you navigate the very hard Holy work of parenting.

On todays episode I'm talking about my emergency surgery and Endometriosis diagnosis. An Endometrioma the size of a grapefruit burst my right ovary open, sending my body into toxic shock all while on the other side of the US on the tail end of being on tour. God worked mighty and I'd love to say I never battled it again. Two years later another surgery and the removal of my right ovary was painful and frustrating. I'm about to celebrate my 7th "burst" day, that's right celebrate. Because despite the pain and uncertainty I've walked through on this journey with Endo, God has been faithful and I've grown closer to His heart. He has changed my perspective over the years and I hope it can be an encouragement for you today, no matter what infirmity you find yourself in.

How do you know when God is calling you? What does it feel like to wait on Him? What does it feel like when He finally answers?
If you are in a waiting place, or may be in one someday I think you'll gain some perspective. Todays Episode was recorded over the past 6 months as my hubby and I waited to find out what God had next for our lives.
You'll hear in real time exactly how it felt to be in the waiting place and why I think it's so important to not discount the discomfort that pushes you closer to God's heart as you wait on Him!
Walking with God is an adventure you'll hear what it was like to not have a job, move across the country and back again, allowing God to truly provide work and more than our basic necessities through the love of the community of people He has surrounded us with.

Life transitions are inevitable, and if we are married we know they effect our marriages as well. So how do we keep our marriages intact through expected and un expected life changes?
Today my guest is Jamie Bailey, she is a a Christian marriage therapist alongside her hubby Chris. They are authors and podcasters who are passionate about helping people enjoy the journey of marriage.
On this episode today she shares some very helpful tips on how to not get blindsided when we experience transitions in life. Such as job changes and losses, medical hardship, buying houses, having babies, empty nest and more. You are going to love our conversation!
Scripture referenced:
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Philippians 4:6-9
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Today I’m getting raw about my shaky hands. I have had shaky hands (Benign Tremor) since puberty. While there are days I would prefer nobody notice, I’m very aware it’s not always an option.
God has taught me a lot through it, and continues too.
If you have ever had a physical limitation that has frustrated and made you feel self conscious, listen in. I hope hearing my honest heart will help you not feel alone!
Scripture referenced in todays episode:
1 Corinthians 12:7-10
And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
1 Corinthians 1:27
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

I’m starting the new year and the new season with a series on body image, today is first in the series.
We all battle comparison in some facet in regards to our bodies and physical limitations. Today I’m sharing my story about my own struggles with body image, from the time I was young to my career as a professional acrobat and after I retired. How God has helped me through, and taught me to be kinder to my body and to those around me.
As we continue the series I will be chatting with other women who are or have battled various things in regard to body image. I know you will be spurred on by their stories too! Be sure to listen in every Friday this month for a new episode in this series.
In this episode I reference some scripture regarding How God made us and views us, here are the references.
Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Psalms 139:14-16
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
Luke 12:7(Jesus Words)
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
1 Peter 3:3-4
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Today it’s just me Caroline, I’m talking about some of my favorite things, Jesus and Christmas.
To some they are separate things and to others they are the same thing. We live alongside each other, believers and non believers in a culture that are both celebrating a holiday that was instated in America to celebrate the birth of Christ. You may say Christians stole the thunder of the winter solstice, I talk about that too.
So how then shall we Christmas? What is the story of Jesus, who is He? Why did He come, and as a baby no less? SIs it ok to celebrate Christmas like our neighbors who aren’t celebrating the birth of our Savior? Watching movies like Elf and the Santa Clause, Hallmark channel and looking at Christmas lights and the list goes on. I talk about why I believe it's important to participate even if it isn't a seemingly Jesus based Christmas activity.
How do we not get caught up in making it more about the gifts and the season? I will share my own personal story from this year How God has been working on my heart. I will also talk about why I think it’s important to celebrate alongside our neighbors even if they aren’t celebrating the birth of Christ.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Do you feel overwhelmed during the Christmas season? You aren’t alone. With so many expectations and everything around us, pressing us to feel obligated to be everything for everyone. We can be left feeling more like Scrooge than Buddy the Elf. And that often makes us act less like Jesus the reason for the season, and more like the Grinch.
But Christmas doesn’t have to be that way.
Today I have a very special guest, my Momma -Shawn Baker
We discuss Christmas traditions through generations. From My Moms childhood through mine, and how we have adapted traditions throughout the years with Siblings, Spouses, Nieces, Nephews, Grandkids, In laws, friends and family.
Our chat will include some sweet memories of my Grandma who loved Christmas and Jesus the most and started a sweet legacy of faith, grace, love and family that continues today.
And well, I literally can’t think of Christmas without thinking of her!
We share some funny memories that you may just relate with and my Mom gives some great tips on slowing down enjoying the season and looking through the lens of love so you can honor God, cultivate sweet time with friends and family not just surviving but thriving.
I know you will be encouraged by our conversation!
Shawn’s Christmas Book List:
The Three Trees, Santa are you real?, Gift of the magi, One Wintery night, A cup of Christmas tea, The very best Christmas, Polar express,
The Crippled Lamb, The spirit of Christmas, I spy Christmas, The Christmas candle, The best Christmas stories ever, Everything I need to know about Christmas, Cosmic Christmas

Is it possible to live in both grief and joy simultaneously? My guest today is our dear family friend Brooke Fuller. Brooke’s Husband Zack sustained a brain injury which came on very sudden, and is still somewhat of a mystery to the medical community. Zack lost the ability to walk and talk among other usual life functions. They were both under 30 at the time with a little girl who wasn’t even 2 yet. We met their family at the brain injury rehab facility where my Dad and Zack were roommates. Our families got close quick as we found we were all believers and walking through the aftermath of brain injuries. While Zack has gained back some of his functions, life changed very drastically for them.Brooke lives out her days beautifully in both deep grief and overwhelming joy as it comes, and she is not afraid to say so. Her faith in Jesus runs deep and is evident in how she lives her life. She is still madly in love with Zack and the life they have built together along with their now 3 little ladies. She is honest and raw about how it’s been to walk out those marriage vows “in sickness and in health” at such a young age. Listen in and hear How God has sustained her. I believe you will be filled with hope and gain some perspective and wisdom on living with both joy and grief, I know you are gonna love our conversation! The art of intentional hospitality- Sustenance and activities
Today it’s just me, talking again about the art of intentional hospitality. With the holidays and fall just around the corner I thought it would be a perfect time to share my heart and tips on hospitality. This is the third in a 3 part series over this Fall season touching on all the aspects of intentional hospitality.
Today I touch specifically on the areas of “Sustenance and Activities”
I give you some practical tips and things to consider when having people in your home.
In this Pintrest and social media age where we are constantly seeing images of perfection it can be overwhelming when it comes to hosting people in our homes. It may even make us feel like, “what’s the use?”.
But I believe God has called us to hospitality and that it can look different for everyone. The important thing is to know our intentions. Are we thinking only about our own image or are we considering our guests? I believe shifting our focus from being the “perfect”, hostess to being an “intentional”, hostess that entertains with the idea of making your guests feel comfortable and thought of can make it a joy!

Today I’m chatting with my sweet friend Jenny Rose a Jesus lover, fire wife and Momma of two who loves all things Disney, just like me!
She is a content creator who shares her heart and life via her successful blog and social media accounts called, “Princess Turned Mom”. You may have heard of her.
She married my hubby’s bestie and in turn became one of mine, I love how that happens!
Like me she was a performer. She always thought she’d pursue a lifelong career on broadway and the stage.
Then God changed her heart, she talks all about what it was like to change dreams and pursue them.
Being an official Disney Mom Blogger with nearly 70,000 followers on instagram and millions of reads on her blog has been both rewarding and challenging.
She gives us a look inside what she has learned from literally not even knowing what a blog was to where she is today, as well as some valuable wisdom on responding to people online that are un kind, (I’m sure we can all benefit from that)

Today my guest is my very favorite human in the entire world, my sweet hubby Kevin Rogers! We are just about to celebrate our 19 year wedding Anniversary!! So while my hubby is not a house wife of the Kingdom, he made me one! We are chatting about what it’s been like for us to be married for 19 years. We are sharing things that have enriched our marriage and want to pass them on to those who are married, who are getting married or who want to be married. We are also sharing some lessons learned in hopes that you don’t have to learn them the hard way.
If you end up watching the video version of this you will notice that our camera stopped filming after about 45 min, we still have the audio and we felt like it was really good so instead of re filming we just inserted a cutie pic of us during the missing video.

Today it’s just me, sharing my heart on keeping in step with your spouse in your marriage.
“ The Couple that plays together stays together”. This is not just some cute quote that rhymes, there is truth behind it!
Life can get busy and marriage can sometimes start to look more like a roommate situation than a soulmate situation.
the Bible has taught us and we have seen how in our marriage when we prioritize time together and enjoy similar pastimes that despite life’s constant changes we stay anchored together. I hope this episode encourages you to pursue hanging out with your spouse and making your marriage a priority. I pray this helps you thrive in and not just survive your marriage!
In Matthew 19:4-6 Jesus says:
And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
In marriage we were meant to bind together and become one!
Additionally we are called to serve pretty much everyone and yet our spouses often get the short end of the stick. We can make efforts to participate and enjoy the things our spouse does, this is one great way to serve them!
And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
Mark 9:35

Today I’m talking with my longest bestie Lisa, we met the first day of pre-school. She is a Military Wife, her hubby Matt of 18 years is a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force They have two daughter 11 and 8.
In their first 5 years of marriage he deployed 6 times. We talk about deployment, what it was like, what to expect and how they kept cultivating their marriage throughout. Reuniting has it’s own obstacles and she shares her wisdom on that as well. God truly sustained her through the long months and she shares some great Biblical and practical wisdom. If you are a military wife headed for, in the middle of, or having gone through a deployment this episode will greatly encourage you. Even if you are not a Military wife I think you will find tangible marriage wisdom to thrive in your marriage.

Today I’m talking about Beauty in Dormant seasons. It’s not particularly our favorite thing as humans to be “dormant”. Especially in a world that rewards and encourages the hustle. While there is nothing wrong with hard work when God calls us to it, I don’t believe we were meant to produce 24/7 365 days a year. God gave me some insight into how He created nature and how it’s similar for us! I share about dormant seasons in my life and how even when we seem or feel “unproductive” God is likely doing something under the surface to make us even more beautiful in his time.

Today I’m chatting with Charis Barg. Her and her hubby paid off all their debt including student loans before they were 25! She was inspired to encourage others by writing about what she learned. This led her to financial coaching, and stepping out in faith leaving her full time job as a nurse. She has always been passionate about writing since she was a little girl. As she stepped out in Faith God kept bringing writing gigs to her which has spurred her into pursuing the thing she has always loved. We talk about how you can’t steer a ship that is standing still, how God needs us to step out in faith sometimes, and how one thing often leads to something we never dreamed possible. She shares valuable financial wisdom and encourages us to step out in faith even when we don’t have it all figured out!

Today I’m talking about why I started this Podcast. I was a Costume Designer and on tour with my hubby when the Lord laid Podcasting on my heart. I’ve always loved encouraging women to Love God, Marriage, Homemaking and Travel, but this call set my heart on fire to spread that encouragement further than just those I meet. I also talk about why you should do the thing God is asking you to do no matter how scary or how many other people are already doing it!

Today I chat with my dear friend Jamie Miller who married her childhood sweetheart. They met and started liking each other when they were 10 and 11! We talk about the idea of happily ever after and the “cinderella syndrome”. She gives us wisdom on how she and her hubby have navigated their changing seasons of life throughout their changing relationship. She talks about how neither one of them is the same person. What it’s been like from like to love to married, from childhood to teen-age and then adulthood and how God has enriched and been the solid foundation of their marriage.
