Our generation has our own way of looking at dreams and careers and futures that we want to see through. How can we come to an understanding with our parents' generation on this topic?

Join us as we discuss the lack of importance given to self care in the desi-american community. We chose this topic of self care to emphasize first because it’s something that can manifest in so many other issues. And we know that is something a lot of us struggle to explain to our parents and older generations as they didn’t really grow up with mental health awareness. But we are growing up in an environment where mental health conversations are becoming rapidly normalized and we are trying to spark our own conversations that will help us grow as a community.
