Tawo was put on Earth to make words move like butterflies and earthquakes. She is dynamic and so bright - carrying a deep joy that comes from loving God and people. She has a bad habit of romanticizing everything and starting failing streaks of vegetarianism. She is the funniest person she knows.
Braydon Rutherford comes from a little flat in the heart of Pinetown, South Africa. Every week, he would wash cars with his friends in this block of flats to be able to buy a pizza at the end of the week, where they would sit around and share stories, eating the fruits of their labour. This formed his love for storytelling, and he wishes to share stories of his humble travels with you, dear listener. So grab a slice of pizza, and we hope you enjoy it.
Ibrahim (M25), Pakistani born & bred, is a Finance & Economics Double Major who is either making inappropriate/dumb jokes or talking about football. Constantly believing in 'Don't Overthink, Just Do', he looks to constantly jump into new experiences and enjoy the little things in life, whether that be tracking down phone thieves in Buenos Aires or getting on a small motorbike with 4 people. He hopes to harness the universal language of sports to empower communities and bridge international divides - telling jokes throughout the process of course.
Musical Theatre Company Thalia was created by a bunch of theatre geeks coming together and realizing that there is one significant thing missing in their global university experience - a student society that would take up their time outside of classes, as well as enable to realize their passion. Through its series of projects, Thalia quickly became a place in M25 community where apart from relentless work of actors and crew members on new theatre projects, surprising and close friendships have been formed.
As part of M19, Louis helped build many of Minerva's community institutions, including the ASM and Convivium. Raised in NYC, he's been back in his birthplace of Berlin since 2020. After his Capstone on Minerva's carbon footprint, he now works at CDP with the highest-emitting companies in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria on their decarbonization.
Hi, I'm Tiffany! Young and idealistic Tiff used to introduce herself as "Tiffany Anne - with an "e" just like Anne of Green Gables" Now that I'm old but haven't given up on the idealism (Just cracked the 40's y'all, it's going to be a great decade) I guess it still applies!

David Levi, Minerva University's Civic Engagement and Partnerships Manager, found a place at MU because he never felt bound by national or cultural boundaries. After the first semester of his second year in Seoul, Pelle (M25!) decided to take a gap year. The former M24 is currently volunteering for the climate justice movement - back home in the Netherlands. Svitlana (M22) grew up in Ukraine and embraced unknowns by participating in the US exchange program when she was 15. Following that, one of her greatest learning experiences was hitchhiking 10,000 km throughout Europe and having open conversations with drivers and couchsurfers. This taught her empathy and active listening, which Svitlana now actively uses while pursuing her passion of becoming a great Product Manager.

Professor Woods-Puckett talks about her journey of growing up in a household that equally valued science and art and how that drove her to be an Arts and Humanities professor. Professor Woods-Puckett also reflects on the history that has led us to create a divide between what we consider traditional Art and Science. She makes her strong case for rethinking STEM into STEAM (and we are not talking about the gaming store) because art is a fundamental way in which we express ourselves. The Student Life team supports Minervan's learning and living outside of the Forum classroom. While this job could contain occasional crying and cruising (!), it is one that is filled with laughter and learning as well. Mark Kukis is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Quincy Institute and Assistant Professor of Social Sciences at the Minerva Schools, where he teaches government. Kukis spent a decade as a journalist before joining academia, including three years covering the American occupation of Iraq and the early phase of the American intervention in Afghanistan. He currently lives in the Boston area with his wife and two children.

Professor Alex Terrana’s physical home is in Ontario, Canada, where she was born, raised, and continues to reside. Yueh-Han (also known as 岳涵 \ Johann) (M22) was extremely curious and brave as a child and still strives to live a life with such values. In his pre-Minerva life, he quit high school to experiment with his own "city as a campus" model, taking charge of his own learning path through homeschool. That worked well and eventually lead him to Minerva. Post-graduation, he continues to run life experiments. The latest one has been to intentionally stay in touch and support his family back home. Ha (M23) is a witty scholar from Vietnam with the power to change failure to a greater success and the unequivocal love of friends, family, and last but not least, boba. Studying in Singapore on a merit scholarship, she manifested that conflicts could turn into a strengthened friendship; despite a misfired endeavor to work in a crypto climate startup, she redirected the dejection to be successful in other internship opportunities. Now, she is on the verge of a mental game to believe in herself to unleash her potential and make things happen in her postgraduate journey of life.

Mike Magee is President of Minerva University. Mike taught American literature and philosophy for a decade. In 2004, his book, Emancipating Pragmatism, won the Elizabeth Agee Prize in American Studies. He then went on two co-found and lead two successful non-profit organizations committed to improving public education in the U.S. He moderates seminars for both the Pahara Institute and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Mike holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s in political science and English from the College of the Holy Cross. He has three daughters.

Nicole Levin (M25) is a 24-year-old Israeli.
